    God requires everything with nothing held back in the form of human attachment. So Abraham offered up Issac who didn't quibble but trusted Abraham even as he held the knife to slay him that God will provide himself a sacrifice. Abraham demonstrated in real time his faith, and why not? God had appeared to him and prepared him to be a father of many nations. Those are the Jews first, Christians,
