    ANXIETY:

Matthew 6:25-34, Jesus is teaching on cares and worries of this world. Two thousand years later we still need this compassionate sermon. We still worry and feel anxious even tho we know Jesus tells us not to.
It helps me to take time to pray and worship. I sing like a frog.
  • Mishael on Psalms 91
I'm thinking of Passover tonight and Jesus's sacrifice for us. When it was finished, the veil in the Temple was torn from top to bottom! It was so huge no priest could've done that. It was a statement of great magnitude. Jesus has done so much for me. I want to be more like Him.
  • Vanasha Little on 1 Corinthians 11:26
Selah, what does it mean as a word in general???

Someone or an angel told me that it is the same as saying, thank you Jesus, or praises to my Lord and savior or hallelujah thank you Jesus. Is that true???
  • Sheri - in Reply on Philippians 4:13
In verse 16, Paul says that if you would like to argue about hair length, it is up to you as this has nothing to do with God's people. We judge by the heart, not outward appearance. I cannot imagine Jesus complaining about how long or short someone's hair is.
  • T'Ann - in Reply on John 1:10
I think Jesus is the Word also. Look at 1st John 5 and Revelation 19:13
    God Bless

  • Jesse - in Reply on Exodus 12:17
Sir, you've done no wrong. It's not what we eat that defiles us, but what comes out of the mouth (Matthew 15:11). It's the evil that comes out of the mouth that defiles because it comes from the heart. Also, I want to share something I have learned about the so called greatest commandments spoken in Matthew Chapter 22. Those are not commandments at all. Our English bibles look like they are commands, but in the Greek text, they are not in command form but are statements of fact. Jesus was not commanding us to love Him or our neighbor. What He was saying is that if you have born of His Spirit, you will love the Lord you God, and you will love your neighbor. Not a command but statement of fact.
  • Jesse - in Reply on Exodus 12:17
Sir, you've done no wrong. Jesus said (Matthew 15:11) that it is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a man, but what comes out. Food we eat does not defile us. It's what comes out of the mouth, the evil a person speaks, because that comes from the heart. Also, I want to share something else here that I have learned. The two "greatest commandments" in Matthew Chapter 22, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God, and love thy neighbor, are not commands. Our bibles make it sound like they are commands, but the Greek text shows that they are not commands. Jesus is not commanding us to love Him or our neighbor. He's giving us a factual statement, you will love, if you have my Spirit in you. Fact!
  • Barbara Parnell - in Reply on Philippians 4
My pastor always says if I give you a verse, you take the chapter, when we read Philippians 4 especially verse 13 we also need to read verse 11 & 12. Paul speaks about having it all and living well and of having nothing and suffering yet knowing he can do all things, he can survive and continue to spread the word of Jesus no matter what the circumstances in his life because Jesus gives him the strength to do His (Jesus') work. Because Jesus is leading him and keeping him on the path through all obstacles.
  • Sheri on Philippians 4:13
Everyone says that we can do all things. But not everything is profitable for us to do. Whenever I read this verse, I always get the sense that I can do anything that is profitable for me. Jesus will give me the strength to do those things that strengthen me. Whether strengthening of my spirit, body or soul. The word used is which, not who.

I'm going to try and wipe out of my mind that you called Jesus's mother a beast.rn:(
  • Moongold - in Reply on Revelation 3
Mick, I think I've already dealt with your accusation of me 'judging'. Please don't simply keep on making the same allegation - you need to read my emails again about spiritual DISCERNMENT, which we MUST have, as God Himself tells us. As to the Papacy 'fufilling prophecy' I strongly recommend you do a thorough study on Daniel & the Revelation because we are in the last remnant of time before Jesus returns, and the Papacy sure DOES fit all prophetic descriptions of her role. Specifically, she is the 1st beast of Rev. chapter 13. Once you understand that prophecy everything will become abundantly clear, I pray. Over and out ..
  • Bob Hilt - in Reply on Exodus 12:17
Someone asked Jesus what was the most important commandment.
Matthew 22:36 - Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Matthew 22:37 - Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Matthew 22:38 - This is the first and great commandment.
Matthew 22:39 - And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Matthew 22:40 - On these two commandments hang ALL the law and the prophets.

In following protocol & being invited into the Kingdom of God,gifts are given- words of knowledge, wisdom, discernment prophecy, tongues, revelation etc.Praying for truth, & guidance will bring vision. God will reveal where what is coming from as you put your trust in Him. Boldness takes over as you allow Christ to reign in you & His character begins to extinguish yours & the false programming satan wants you to live by.Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life. As Christ lives in you satan's strongholds through his agents-psychics, witches, freemasons, nazi's etc will not be so strong anymore. You allow your faith muscles to be exercised through each attack/assault over your mind, body, soul.
  • Camille on Psalms 70
What does Jesus mean when he tells his tells his disciples and Matthew 24 eight when he saysBefore he comes will be the beginning of birth pains what would be the hidden meeting about this
  • Anon - in Reply on Revelation 12
Of course the God of Abraham loves you. It's something the adversary would like you to disbelieve. Fear that brings torment is not of God. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and leads to life. Perfect loves casts out all fear. God has not given us the spirit of bondage again to fear, but of power, of love and a sound mind. Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee. To get into Christ and access the Kingdom of Heaven, the Kingdom of God, the Kingdom of His dear Son you have to follow protocol. Jesus said: You must be born again. The evangelists are there as door keepers and guides to enter in. Belief in Christ, submission to God, confession of sin etc
  • ALEX on Luke 11
This woman was praising Mary saying blessed is the womb that bare you and the papes you have sucked thats Mary and she was truly blessed but Jesus is refering to another WOMAN when he said more blessed are them that hear my words and keeps them thats Humanity th WORLD,JESUS said the field was the world where that good seed wd be planted our hearts that good seed will be sown initiating a birth of Christ in US.He wants us all to be his MOTHER that what the new birth is Christ being formed in US. Who is my Mother them that hear my WORDS HIS SEEDS.The KINGDOM HAS TO COME VIA A BIRTH OF CHRIST IN US.thats y he always referes to himself as Son of MAN. Unless ya receive the kingdom as a lil CHILD.
  • Mick on JOHN 1010 on Acts 16
I told a little of my testimony to let others know how very present the Holy Spirit is to us during crisis. Ask. He's there. Talk to him. Ask Him to teach you to pray; intercede like Jesus is doing now. A intercessor (I was taught) is one who asks to stand alongside someone, in their place, to fight against satan or to release a blessing into someone else's life. You must know who you are in Jesus Christ before you take on some hell to stand in for someone who may not know they're on satans radar. He steals, kills and destroys. John 10:10
Pray for people who need it. People are hurting now and receptive to let someone pray for them. Answered prayers are your reward. :D
  • Mickey on Isaiah 1412-16 on Matthew 1
Actually in Isaiah chapter 14:12-16, satan says I WILL 5 times!

God is not destroying people's lives. One of satans other names is: DESTROYER. And he is the ACCUSER of the brethern. Revelation 12:10, Job 1:6,12 and Zechariah 3:1

Part of our problem is that we do not trust God. We think he does all the painful things. Like why is he allowing satan to get near us? Hear that accusatory question? Or, why doesn't Jesus just heal everybody? Why does bad things happen to good people?
There is the WILL of God. God gave free will to mankind in the garden of Eden. Satan has a will too. He's not going to do anything good with it. Read Job 1. He's defeated. Intercede for loved ones.
  • Chris on Acts 12:4
This is an often asked question. I then ask:why did God allow bad things to happen to His Son Jesus Christ? And we know that Jesus faced people's anger, hatred, hunger, temptation, misunderstandings, beatings, thorns, spearing and death. If God allowed His only begotten Son to suffer so much, when He did no wrong & without any sin, should we be surprised that we, as good as some might try to be, also suffer? We are all born sinners, even the slightest wrong-doing makes us such. But Jesus did no wrong, even when under severe testing by Satan - yet He suffered. So, the answer is that we all suffer because we are sinners, but now as Christians, we are given His Grace to live above the pain.

I did not say the Catholic religion had it all right. You're judging. Scripture says don't do it.rnIt was the Holy Spirit that opened up Luke 1 to me. I used to think like you are.rnAll generations of catholic believers have done something NO ONE in other religions barely ever do. She is Jesus's mother. She was chosen. She spoke what had been spoken to her by the angel.rnALL GENERATIONS of people will call her BLESSED. It's a prophesy! Don't mess with Gods prophesies. Apostle John called her blessed. Have you ever wondered about Luke Ch. 1 ?
  • Mick - in Reply on Malachi 2:14
I think in Jesus's parents life they set a date for the wedding. She becomes pregnant through the Holy Spirit during the engagement period; you know the story Matthew 1:18-25
Point is: nowadays they call it DATING! You date and discover a persons faith; faithfulness to you, family, church, how they spend their money (tithing), budgets, votes, how they treat their mother. You interview each other for a year. Here's your bible scripture for what you seek. Proverbs chapter 31, verses 10-31. If you can't wait that long, you may get a lemon.
  • Mickey to Teresa - in Reply on Acts 16
As you read & compare the gospel chapters: Jesus did everything openly. When He was charged with blasphemy by his own people, judged, prosecuted and ordered to be crucified, IT WAS VIEWED by everyone!
Ought we not be ashamed to have our momentous occasions witnessed by those that love us and our friends? Jesus is your friend too. Water baptism is to show your repentance. It's an act of obedience. Mark 1:4, 8. In John 1:32-34 John the Baptist, baptised Jesus in water. He saw the Holy Spirit as a dove abode upon Jesus. (Confirmation). John said, the same (Jesus) is he which baptizeth with the with the Holy Spirit. Write the day in your Bible :)

When will we know jesus is coming real soon we are living and the last days
  • Mickey on Antichrist on Zechariah 9:13
To Guillermo: I'm gonna redirect on that. I believe that world economies are going to tank on corona virus as we have already seen. The only problem is that the scripture says pestilence in plural: pestilences. We need to be drawing real close to Jesus now. "My sheep hear MY voice". Be careful what you listen to.
SPIRIT of Antichrist has been here for years. I believe the Antichrist is here. He's in the background. The economies may act like a roller coaster? Get in Daniel and study it. Watch some YouTube sermons. Eventually Antichrist will stand up, solve the broken world economies, create one world money and one world religion. Keep hold of your faith in Jesus to save. Rejoice!
  • Mick on BaptistIsm on Zechariah 9:13
John the Baptist was baptized by the Holy Spirit in his mother's womb. Luke 1:41, 44
John the Baptist baptized with WATER unto repentance for sin.
If you have received the Gift that Jesus preached then the Holy Spirit has made his abode with you. The gifts of The Spirit are for you. Study those gifts. You can ask for what you need. Don't be greedy.
1 Corinthians chapter 12 and 13. My advise: spend time enriching your relationship with the Holy Spirit. Read the verses Jesus speaks concerning Him.
  • Mick on Zechariah 9:13
To Rachelle: when listening for voices, they must be spiritually discerned. If it edifies you're spirit, then it is the Holy Spirit. If it frightens you, it's a demon. Even satan can quote scripture. It happened to me. I was a new Christian. It was quiet, I was folding clothes for my mom. "It" quoted Luke 4:18 audibly. My spirit went on a high alert inner freak out. I stopped what I was doing and went in my closet to pray. I knew I had been attacked. I trusted Jesus and the Holy Spirit protected and comforted me. Lesson learned. I don't reccomend it. You can ask the Holy Spirit at any time to help you discern the spirits. Demons want to trip you up and shipwreck your FAITH in Jesus.
  • Adam - in Reply on John 18:11
I think its a metaphor for Jesus's purpose or responsibility. Jesus had used this word in his prayer to God the father, like Luke 22:42.
  • Adam - in Reply on Acts 16
Hello, I personally don't believe someone who baptizes needs to speak in tongues. Bible doesn't say John the Baptist spoke in tongues and he baptized Jesus. Where did you hear that and what scriptures do you feel supports that idea?
  • Bob Hilt - in Reply on John 18:11
Hey Peggy - Hit youtube and type in CUP OF THE LORD
see what pops up. there are a number of times the cup of the Lord is in the Bible.
Psalms 116:13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.
Matthew 20:22 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.
1 Corinthians 11:25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.
