    Joshua 5:13-15

13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his Sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?

14 And he said, Nay; but as captain (a Prince) of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my Lord unto his servant?

15 And the captain of the Lord's host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.

    Daniel 12:-13

1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time(because Michael stand up): and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

    Matthew 24:15and21-23

15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place,(whoso readeth, let him understand )

21For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved:but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

    23Then if any man(Pastors, Bishops,Evangelists,etc.) shall say unto you,Lo, here is Christ( John 5:43-47.Take a look),or there;BELIEVE IT NOT.

    Re.12:7 & 10-11

7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his messengers fought against the dragon( Revelation 13:11);and the dragon fought and his messengers.

    Passover day,

Passover day starts at sundown, the preparation day for the Feast of Unleavened Bread. When Jesus was here would have been His last day, the Last Supper, in the garden, the betrayal, taken to the priests, Pilot, nailed to the cross and put in the tomb before the sunset. When the sun set that would be the 15th the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread a high Sabbath, a holy convocation, the day they went out of Egypt.

This Sunday would be the Feast of Firstfruits the day Jesus rose from the grave being the Firstfruits of those who slept.

Romans 6:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

    God bless,

    Isa.66:4:

4I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them;because when I called, none did answer;when I spake, they did not hear...

    2Thes.2:8-12

8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth-His Word-,and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming:

9Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish;because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12That they all might be DAMNED who believed not the Truth- believed not in JESUS-,but had pleasure in unrighteousness

    PRIOR ADVICE OF OUR LORD

16Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains

17Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house

18Neither let him which is in the field return back...

    ABOUT STRONG PUNISHMENT

    Revelation Seal One:

Daniel 8:23-25 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.

24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.

25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

To understand the first seal of Revelation which is parallel to the " Daniel 9:27" covenant; we have to gain wisdom and understanding on what exactly the white horse of Revelation 6:1-2 represents. We can see a similar concept here to the Mahdi of Islam; who is said to come this exact way on a white horse and makes a seven year pact (from what I can tell is in a Hadith rather than specifically mentioned in the Koran but I don't want to focus on that here). My point is the idea of peace through force or SUBMISSION. The point in verse 24 of Daniel 8 is also translated as causing "astonishing devestation". This would likely be the scenario where he takes over the 3 nations of the 10 mentioned in Daniel 7:8. That would possibly be related to a limited nuclear conflict but could of course be a type of "blitzkrieg" that is a sudden assault rendering enemies helpless. SInce this is a power struggle that could be the emphasis here.

These passages also show judgment by God; even in false peace. Jeremiah 6:14 and 8:11 bolster what is seen in Thessalonians about false peace ( 1 Thess. 5:3). The world shall believe in "THE LIE" in 2 Thessalonians 2:11 and the Jews will believe in another who comes in his own name as John 5:43 shows with Jesus warning His own people with what they indeed WILL do in the future. God will use men and Satan to do His will.

And Jesus replied, "Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things." ( Luke 20:8).

The Pharisees; who derided Christ throughout His public ministry had this to say shortly before the crucifixion. Jesus shut them out; as well as remaining silent soon after during Pilate's interrogation. Self exaltation and justification wasn't necessary for Christ didn't seek to be served but to serve and give His life for a ransom for many. ( Mark 10:45) The fact is; the Pharisees and religious leaders should have known who He was; and therefore were operating in deliberate blindness; uniquely qualifying them to commit the unpardonable sin. (See Matthew 12:24).

Part of the concept of the verse on "casting pearls before swine" ( Matt. 7:6) relates to this. Jesus hid meanings of the Parables to others who were deliberately spiritually blind (see Matthew 13:34; and Matthew 13:15; Isaiah 42:19-20). John 9:39-41 shows the end of an entire chapter related to a blind man's healing; where Jesus explains how men are made blind to the truth; but the Pharisees after asking if that was the intention of what Jesus said were still left with the judgment for themselves because they could see and were responsible for their sin.

These are sobering reminders that man is not justified in any righteousness of their own and estranged from God from the womb ( Psalm 58:3); yet has a conscience given by God where men are judged more harshly that know the law ( Romans 2:15).

Jesus warned that judgment would be worse for those cities that rejected Him than for Sodom and Gomorrah ( Matthew 10:15).

This attitude led to the unpardonable sin; blasphemy of the Holy Spirit where Beelzebub was attributed to Christ's healing rather than God ( Matthew 12:22). The issue of forgiveness of sins was truly where the problem was; since the miracles were manifold.

Nonetheless; Jesus wouldn't use His power to save Himself on the cross or when unbelief was present (see Matthew 13:58).

    Part 2.

We are not joined with those outside the body of Christ so, what are we as children of light supposed to do in a lost dark world?

We are to bare light and that light is supposed to shine on Christ.

We are his ambassadors in a foreign land.

We are to display the work of Christ in our lives and the evidence of a new birth bearing fruit. By this all people will know we are his disciples, and the fruit (especially Love for the Brothern) will also Distinguish between a false teaching religion/teachers and spirit filled believers where the spirit gathers and energizes. This is the operation of God by the baptism of the Holy spirit.

SCRIPTURE REFERENCES; John 13:34-35, Matthew 7:16-20. 1 1John 4:20-21, If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

We are to Love the unbeliever, witness to them, and treat them with kindness and help them in a Godly way.

So, in what ways we are not to be unequally yoked with them? Many things can be mentioned but I won't get into that here.

    2 Corinthians 6:14-18.

"The command implies that a great difference exists between a believer and an unbeliever. Generally speaking, the motivations, goals, and methods of a Christian are incompatible with those of an unbeliever.

Faith changes the character of a person. A Christian's highest ambition in life is to glorify the Lord Jesus and please Him in all things; an unbeliever is, at best, indifferent to such goals. "

Again, don't get me wrong here, we are called to minister to them in particular.

That is the Lords Commission. Luke 4:18.

It is our Great Commission to spread the Gospel; Matthew 28:16-20.

We do that with truth! We don't do it with lies and deception.

How should Christian treat one another?

    See part 3.

    Hi Adam.

Man is incapable of knowing how Holy and Just God is and we're also incapable of knowing how evil man is apart from the restrainer.

We see a picture of the evil of man in Revelation when the nations take up war against the Lord.

Also look at the evil condition of their heart here in Revelation 16:9-11 while being tormented.

    Also see Psalms 2:1-12.

Romans 11:33 states. "O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

God gives life and he can take it!

The trouble with atheist is that they don't believe God gave life!

They have no understanding of deity.

See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.

For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for ever.

If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me. Deuteronomy 32:39.

God gives and he takes away.

    God bless.

    Conclusion.

Ultimately; whether it be Armageddon or the final Great White throne judgment; or the individual demise of every person outside of the faith since Adam fell; the fate of unregenerate man is horrible beyond imagination. The biggest problem is that we don't know who Christ is; the eyes of those under Satan's power are blinded ( 2 Corinthians 4:4). Once we can see clearly we will be on our face; so it is better to do it now than under compulsion at judgment. The righteous also are constrained but by His love to praise and worship the Lord. The Holy Spirit when we are fully surrendered will fill our entire being with praise.

For now; it wouldn't surprise me a bit if an atheist would have less of an issue with say capital punishment as many who call themselves Christian. The Antichrist himself is called the "lawless one" and indeed at least one atheist I met was from a worldly standpoint a very "moral" person. What the law does is serve as a "schoolmaster" ( Gal. 3:24) to bring people to faith.

This explains why it is possible for the vilest sinner (such as possibly occured with Jeffrey Dahmer) to change. As Christians we shouldn't have a double standard we can exact justice to protect the innocent but still have an attitude of unconditional love and forgiveness which wouldn't be comprehended by an atheist.

Anyway another good point is that Christ never said the adage that God helps those who help themselves. If there was any other way certainly God would not have allowed His son to go through the suffering on the cross; or turn His back on Him at that instant of time. This shows sin is DEADLY serious.

Also of course 1 Corinthians 11:30 shows that even God' speople can have a shortened life living in disobedience. God delivered a man over to Satan so that at some point before death he would repent (apparently the man came to his senses and eventually was restored to fellowship). Better to make it to heaven through fire than hell.

The battle of Michael is against three unclean spirits like frogs(why frogs),that FIRST manifest by the MOUTH of the dragon, the MAN Beast like a lamb(a false lamb,a false Jewish messiah- Revelation 13:11 combined with John 5:43-47,actually the MAN of sin,son of perdition)having two horns(i.e. representing two ancient kingdoms),and this false messiah,in fact an esoteric, and kabbalistic, and spiritist messiah, knowledgeable in Torah,a FALSE prophet, and he shall oppose and exalt himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God will be enthroned in the temple of God-the Holy City, showing himself that he is God-2Thesslonians 2:3-4 and 9-12.

The battle also is against the unclean spirit of the Beast of sea having 7 heads,10 horns, and upon his 7 heads a NAME of blaspheme. The false messiah will give to the Beast of sea his Power, and his Throne, and great Authority, hen the false messiah, the dragon-Re.13:11-shall take and link the whole structure around the world(Europe,Asia,Africa,Oceania(Australia),North America, Central America and South America) of the Roman Catholic Church to his body, i.e. the 7 heads of the Beast of sea, a Gentilic Beast, which shall sit on the throne of false messiah in Jerusalem in the FIRST half of the last week, week 70th Daniel 9:24-27.So, as JESUS prophesied, Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled- Luke 21:24.

The false messiah from the tribe of Dan- Genesis 49:17-represents the 10 horns of the dragon's body. The dragon's TAIL-Re.12:4-are all false preachers of the Word of GOD- Isaiah 9:15-16.

14For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world,to gather them to the battle of this great Day of GOD Almighty, the sevenh and last Day,or seventh and last millennium.

15Behold,I come as a thief.Blessed is he that watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame

Daniel 12:1->1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great Prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time(because the archangel Michael stands up): and at that time(the current time-the seventh and last millennium or the seventh and last GOD's Day), thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book (according Re.7:1-14.Take a look). JESUS prophesied, saying: Matt.24:15 & 21:

15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

21...then shall be great Tribulation(Dan.12:1& Acts 14:22),such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time(to this current time, time of the last GOD's Day),no, nor ever shall be.

By the way, it's very important to know who comes first: Michael or JESUS?

Michael the archangel is one like unto the Son of man, the difference is that Michael is a warrior, JESUS the Savior, He is the stone which is become the head of the corner. There is no salvation in any other(except in JESUS Christ):for there is none other NAME under heaven given among men, whereby we MUST be saved.

It is very important to know who comes first: Michael or JESUS?

    Daniel 12:2

2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

    Paul prophesied: 1Tess.4:15-17

15 We say unto you by the Word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven(from the 3rd heaven,we the believers are still in the 2nd heaven-Eph.1:3-8 combined with Phil.3:20-21)with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of GOD:and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds( Isaiah 60:8, and 1Corinthians 15:51 combined with Phi.3:20-21 and Re.5:8-14), to meet the Lord in the air(in the 3rd heavenly environment-3rd heaven-far above the second heaven- Luke 20:35-36 combined with Mat.25:6): and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (Where?-Re.11:15-18 and 5:10, and Mat.5:5).

    Daniel 12:3

3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. (The stars were made by our GOD since the beginning- Genesis 1:16-made with own light given by GOD for them to shine in heaven(Eph.1:3-8), but the Greater Light is JESUS, and the Lesser Light is the person of the Holy Spirit- John 15:26 and 16:12-15. Take a look).

Hello Richard, thank you for all of your good postings on the topics that come to your mind. I can tell that the Holy Spirit is guiding you.

I continue to pray for you and your situation with your parents.

We are knee deep in remodeling the interior of our home since January. Making headway, though The contractor working on our home most days is very good. He did apply for another job last Friday. Not sure if it will pan out or not. We hate to lose him for our remodel and pray that God will lead him in the best way to go. But this morning he was talking to us about his counter offer. The company has not gotten back to him yet so he thinks it may not go through. Needless to say, we are happy that he will stay on with us for now since he told us he may be gone in two weeks if he gets this job.

Please pray for him. We want him to get into a situation that is really good for him and we hope he will be with us to finish this job on our home before he moves on.

    Thank you.

The cradle of Antichrist is the primitive Church of Rome-1Jo.2:18-21

The Word of GOD reveals the birthplace of Antichrist by the VISUAL testimony of Apostle John about the Church of Rome

18 Little children,it's the last time:and as ye have heard that Antichrist shall come, even NOW are there many Antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

19They(Church of Rome)went out from us(apostate),but they were not of us;if they had been of us,they would no doubt have continued with us:but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

20Ye have an unction from the Holy One,and know all things.

Re.13:1-18,written around 65 years after JESUS's ascension, two distinct Beasts are described:The first lasts around 2000 years,we can discern and foresse both Beasts will lead two distinct satanic religious systems in near future. The FIRST MAN Beast of sea exists millennia ago,the another MAN Beast has not yet,but he will manifest in near future.Catholicism&Judaism.

The Beast of sea,a satanic religious system developed within the former Church of the Lord in Rome and into Roman Empire, after Satan corrupted the church established by Apostle Paul, killed by persecution, then was developed satanic Antichrist's movements through the corrupt church of Rome, called first Catholic Church.Revelation describes 7 churches, church of Rome would be the eighth, but it was left out because was completely disapproved by JESUS.

The religious structures and organizations of the RCC,which rides upon the Beast of sea,the Pope, within the Roman Empire, since the confuse election of the first Pope in first century,it can be Linus or Clement, later to increase the confuse election of whom really is the first Pope,Satan, the main leader of the blasphemer movement of Antichrist in the church of Rome,he himself, time after, around the 2nd or early 3rd century by convention began of regarding Peter as the first pope. It's more a satanic blasphemy of the MAN Beast of sea.

    Mark 14:28 "Galilee"

"But after that I am risen, I will go before you into Galilee."

The Spirit presents us a seemingly minor detail but it has a great spiritual importance. For one association of the Son is set there. Fellowship of God was not with any other than his Son. Whosoever believed in him were blessed in his Son (Ep.1:3).As Word become flesh the twelve apostles were men chosen by the Father was recorded in the scriptures. Joseph did not choose Galilee but God the Father chose it for his Son."Being warned of God in a dream, he (Joseph) turned aside into the parts of Galilee:/And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene." (Matt.2:22-23).

Nazareth is a small town in the hill country of Galilee while Jerusalem belongs to Judea.

Most of his disciples were from Galilee so we have this hint from the Holy Spirit why he went beforehand into Galilee

Secondly Jesus 'shall so come in like manner as you have seen him go' is already mentioned by Prophet Ezekiel."And when the prince shall enter, he shall go in by the way of the porch ofthatgate, and he shall go forth by the way thereof."(Ez.46:8)

"Behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;/Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven."(Ac.1:10-11). He however warned his disciples not to leave Jerusalem is for no other reason than setting coordinates of his throne in heaven with 'his body" and the right hand of the most high in heaven is called New Jerusalem. Consequently the city of the great King (Matt.5:35) fits nicely with David from whose loins his humanity took shape. David calls him his Lord , the Lord of lords and King of kings. (Re.19:16)

By literal approach do we really get the role of place names right?

Thank you yet, Not sure we believe in the same thing cuz..#1. God's word is what it is. We, as believers, are to read, study & learn what He meant. So as not to twist things as so many "religions" do. The original languages the Bible was written in.. well, their words mean something different then our English language so, again, read His word, study what He meant it to be & learn for yourself, Not merely listening to others..#2. No one is pure, or ever can be, except Christ.! Or His DBR was in vain. #3. I too find most things in life a waist of time. I work, go to church or watch on computer, when can't go to a building & spend my spare time cooking, making toiletries, BBQ sauce & fresh animal food.! God comes first, ALWAYS.! If all of that is what you meant..praise God..if not, I shall pray you come to find the true Jesus Christ & go up w/the rapture & not have to deal w/hell on earth w/ the anti- Christ.! Yet whatever you do..DO NOT get the mark of the beast. It is the only sin God will not forgive, it's blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.! Yet if you read His word, you know all this.

    Mark 14:34-37 "The Porter" (2 of 2)

The indwelling Spirit is counted as one with the man. Jesus assured,"And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:/Of sin, because they believe not on me."( John 16:8-9). This being the case whosoever follows strange doctrine does so at his own peril. He has effectively quenched the Holy Spirit. The Parable of the Five foolish virgins explain it. Number Five shows this unity of the Spirit whereby the man anointed by the Spirit is five. Grieving Holy Spirit doesnot let off the guilty.

In Ezekiel We see the glory of God departing the house. In vv.14-17 "So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of theLordwas strong upon me." This foreshadows the anointing of the Holy Spirit because of which his sheep are to be restrained in the house as Ezekiel was. "And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of theLordcame unto me, saying,/Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel."

As witnesses for Christ are we doing our job well?

Then the spirit entered into me, and set me upon my feet, and spake with me, and said unto me, Go, shut thyself within thine house."(Ez.3:24). The risen Christ has left 'his house' and every one of us to be watchful and faithful. "For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house," and "whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end."He.3:6)

    Mark 13 :34-37 "The Porter" (1 of 2)

"And commanded the porter to watch."

Ezekiel before Jesus was designated as the Son of man. God commands the prophet, "Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel." The Holy Spirit presents Jesus Christ as the word become flesh. It shall help us understand the v.34. "For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work." This is precisely what the great commission in Gospel of St Matthew signifies. (Matt.28:18-20) Every believer thus has been assigned his work. So the indwelling Holy Spirit is designated as the porter. In short every believer is commanded to be at his post, "Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cock-crowing, or in the morning."(v.35)

We have a few more parallels from the life of Ezekiel in order to illumine our understanding of the great commission to which we shall come anon. We find the porter mentioned in this passage, "But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep./To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out."( John 10:2-3) This explains the knock on the door, "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me."(Re.3:20-21). Those who let him in do so because his word resonates which is what voice recognition of the eternal word does. "And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice." By the same token who gets entangles with strange doctrine, -for instance Christian nationalism and prosperity is not his. These entered not by the door and whosoever is not, his shall follow them.

So what is the porter doing when sin enters through the back door?

    Thanks, Oseas,

I understand your zeal which is good and not so popular in this wannabe culture. I pray God that God opens your study to understand His will concerning you. Only then you shall understand the wonderful treasure which we have in the Bible. The more you dip into the more it has to give you. I did not find any discrepancy in the passages written by so many hands in so many varying circumstance but the same Holy Ghost the third office in Trinity. He will not speak of himself but he gives glory to God.

Study these verses prayerfully. It is God's promise to you. "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you." Treat is as God requiring you to attend so you may be an effective witness for you.

    Hi Bennymkje

In response to you request, my Bible is written in Portuguese, translated by Joo Ferreira de Almeida, printed by Imprensa Bblica Brasileira, created in 1940, adding a system of biblical references, and a concise or compact biblical dictionary translated from English by Dr. S.L. Watson and wife, Mrs Ana, former missionaries in Brazil.

I'm from Brazil, I live in the south of Brazil, close to Argentina, now it's 1.05 AM here.

As for the Jewish calendar, I agree with you, saying, "Being a Jew does not make his calendar correct", and That's exactly what I tried to demonstrate in my post yesterday, asking the following question: How to explain the difference of exactly 240 years in the Jewish calendar? In my understanding, I find this difference in the calendar of a genuinely biblical people created and developed by GOD very strange.

So I suggested three specifics events at facts that are a stain on the nation's history of Israel , actually shameful events in the history of Israel as probable causes of the difference between the Jewish calendar and the Biblical Chronology. The three events are:

    1-The Jewish Calendar begins in Seth, not in Adam, so we have less 130 years here;

    2-Jews do not consider their 40 years of wandering in the desert, from Egypt to the promised land;

3-They do not consider also their shameful 70 years of captivity in Babylon.

What other explanation could there be that would justify this difference of exactly 240 years?

NOTE:Not only their calendar is a nonsense, biblicaly uncorrect,as we all can see,but also a devilish colection of fictitious GOD's NAMES that they added in the Jewish Bible by their esoteric, and kabbalistic and spiritist spirit, even calling GOD's name through four capital letters YHWH or YHVH among other nine pseudo names, which are not named by the Holy Spirit, but by the spirit of the Evil, the Wicked- John 8:44.The true and only NAME of GOD is revealed, for example, in Acts 4:11-13 and Hebrews 1:8.

    GOD bless

    Hey Momsage,

I do not take you as being contrary and please forgive me, I am not the best at explaining some things, Scripture is the word of God given to us through the Holy Spirit by the prophets but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son and there are no contradictions, he that doubteth is damned. Man is who makes the contradictions. God called out Abraham when he was 75 years old, Genesis 12:4 and Genesis 12:1 this is after Terah died and Genesis 11:32 says he was 205 years old when he died. Acts 7:4 also says when his father was dead God removed Abraham into this land.

We make the contradiction when we take Genesis 11:27 as saying Terah was 70 years old when Abraham was born. But it says Terah was 70 years old when he begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran, This is saying all three sons were born when Terah was 70 years old and we know that is impossible. Scripture is clear Haran was older because Lot was his son, Nahor married one of Haran's daughters and Haran died before his father Terah.

We have two verses in Scripture that say God called out Abraham after Terah died Genesis 12:1 and Acts 7:4 and Genesis 11:32 says Terah was 205 years old when he died and Genesis 12:4 Abraham was 75 years old, this tells us Terah was 130 years old when Abraham was born, 205 minus 75 = 130 no contradiction.

Studying the timelines is interesting, as knowing how many years from Adam to Abraham to Moses and on. But if we try to use these timelines for any purpose other than our enjoyment, we must know there are different texts and they all do not agree. We can only reach approximately the years from then and now. None of these charts will predict the second coming of Jesus.

Hope this helps if not let me know.

    God bless,

    RLW

Hey Ronald: In Genesis 12:1-4 You said: 'it looks like God did not call Abraham out until after Terah died." What is in the verse that makes you think so? I'm not being contrary and, of course, studying these time lines is interesting but if this is a contradiction, how does that line up with it being written by the Holy Ghost? God Bless :)

    Hi Oseas,

You mentioned Bible Dictionary. Can you give more details as to the publisher and whether from any specific denomination or sects? Your Jewish calendar, and I quote "Through Jewish calendar the Jewish people use it for counting time and commemorating birthdays, festivities, weddings, deaths, religious celebrations and other solemnities. According to the Hebrews, the years are counted from what they believe to be the creation of Adam" is not how the Spirit uses the genealogies in OT and Nt. " Jesus said "Before Abraham was, I am". St Paul inspired by the same Holy Spirit gives Jesus Christ as the benchmark. By him all things consist and it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell. (Col1:15-19). Being a Jew does not make his calendar correct.

Scripture Interpretation: Part 2 on introduction to the law and differences in Old and New Testaments

A general concept as pointed out in my last post is that the Old Testament law and sacrifices had temporal methods and sufficiency and were based on behaviors of Israel as to whether blessings or cursings resulted. The Spirit of God was more transient and was no guarantee of salvation such as seen in the example of Saul's prophesying as well as Baalam's repeated attempts to curse Israel and being overtaken to make proclamations under the influence of the Holy Spirit. David even asked God not to remove His Holy Spirit as apparently happened with Saul who needed David to play music for a temporary "fix" to his bizarre disorders.

John 16:8 essentially gives indication of permanent residence of the Father and Son in a believer and thus sealing them until the Day of Redemption. What we cannot do is glibly assume we are saved without testing ourselves to see if we are in the faith; and certain behaviors especially illustrated in Corinthians show the result of sickness and death with communion taken unworthily and the case of the man sleeping with his father's wife. There is always hope of repentance if someone is alive; but we cannot continue a LIFESTYLE of sin and be presumptuous thinking God will overlook our sin as an exception to His rule for the rest of mankind.

Matthew 5:17 states that Christ came not to abolish but fulfill the law and the prophets. This is a segway into the second theme in this introduction: Prophecy...

    INTRO.

Prophecy begins with Genesis 3:15 in the garden with the serpent being told that he would receive a deadly wound and that Christ would recieve a wound on the heel (the seed of the woman representing the virgin Birth and the wound that of His piercing on the cross). Jesus was the end of Prophecy as THE Prophet; but in real time we still see Him as the Alpha and Omega in Revelation 1; and we still see 2 Prophets in Rev. 11.

    Mark 11 "eternal word"

St Mark sets the Healing of Bartimaeus with him joining Jesus with this line,"and followed Jesus in the way." In this chapter we see the eternal word forever settled in heaven meeting the way he took 'in the way." So the now meeting the eternal aspects of the word is stated in rather obvious manner, so how we approach the triumphal entry of Jesus cannot go wrong. Jesus sends two of his disciples to fetch the colt already provided for. "And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways met." Where the two ways meet is a direct way of the scripture, of what is written of me' being fulfilled. We need not ask how the colt shall be provided for the Son as he passed through Jerusalem and as Isaiah says, "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."(Is.55:11)

Here below are the citations from the prophets of old which also ought to convince us that there was nothing in Jerusalem that kept him there. He was among his own as the word become flesh but the nation of Israel showed themsselves unworthy for the grace and truth which made Jesus of Nazareth as the only begotten Son.

    vv.1-11

Here we have the fulfillment of Messianic prophecy in the Book of Psalms. "Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord: we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord."(Ps.118:26)

    vv.12-17

"Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people."(Is.56:7)

" Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the Lord."(Je.7:11)

    Mark :46-52 "Immediately"

While Lazarus figures in a Parable we have the healing of a blind beggar and he is named. As his name Bartimeaus implies he is the son of Timaeus. He is addressing "Thou son of David, have mercy on me." The son of David informs it is a request from a man in need of the Son of man.. Matthew 1:1 gives us the generation of Jesus Christ in which he is the son of Abraham and the son of David. Two names representing his Alpha Omega aspect.

Jesus first would want Bartimeaus speak out what specifically he needed."(Jesus)said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight./And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight." The Spirit here gives the fulfilment of the word of God, "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions."(Ps.107:20) Compare this with his healing of the man with palsy by the pool of Bethesda. "And immediately the man was made whole."( John 5;9) There also the Spirit mentions 'immediately' referring to the ministry of Jesus, theword become flesh. In this context what shall we make of the Psalm quote? It is the word of God of which the Holy Spirit instructs us, "For ever, OLord, thy word is settled in heaven."(Ps.119:89)

"Immediately' as used profusely in the Gospel is as loaded as the term "now" referring to Jesus as the word become flesh.

The gospel thus reached Bartemaeus. So the Spirit adds,"and followed Jesus in the way."

1 Corinthians 15:20-23 states, "But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

For as in Adam all die, even so "IN CHRIST" shall all be made alive.

But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming"

    What an marvelous saying!!

The key is being "in Christ"

This is the baptism he came to perform on all those who accepts him as savior! ( Jews and Gentiles alike)

This is what Paul is saying in 1 Corinthians 12:13. "unto the Jews first and then to the Gentiles"

This is what John the Baptist is saying to the Jews when preparing the way for their Messiah.

    THE RESURRECTION.

The belief in the resurrection of the body is an vital aspect of our faith as we see in 1 Corinthians 15:17-20

Also the resurrection promotes a "New birth" taken place!

This is where the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead quickens our mortal bodies as mentioned in Romans 8:11-14.

So, we are baptized into Jesus death as mentioned in Romans 6:3.

Romans 6:4-11 gives us our present state by the power of the Holyspirit.

Verse 11 says we are to reckon "or to recognize" ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We have been given an earnest of the Holyspirit to will and perform inside us!

So, We have been given the earnest of the Spirit,

Sealed and predestinated, with a promise of redemption for the purchased possession. "by the blood of Christ."

This is what the resurrection means to us.

    God bless.

Mark 10:35-45 Law of sin vs.Law of the Spirit

Matthew gives the passage in a slight altered form. It is the Mother of the sons of Zebedee approaches Jesus for a special favor."Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons, worshippinghim, and desiring a certain thing of him."(Matt.20:20). The Word or the Law is interpreted differently according to the world of the Spirit and by the flesh and spirit respectively. In one the glory of God is the foremost so Elias or Moses serve as a double for the Son. In the case of the Mother of Zebedee's sons, her desire was the glory of her sons. She serves as a stand in for her Son. Of this St Paul gives us two contrary laws. "So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin."(Ro.7:25)

Law of the Spirit presupposes a Lawgiver is it not. It is thus God has left all judgment to his Son who also is the Word become flesh. On the other hand Satan the Lawless one has become by default of Adam a law given so the law of sin characterizes works of flesh and blood. Whosoever rejects the commandment as King Saul did is subject to an unclean spirits. "He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil."( 1 John 3:8)

vv.38-39 "And with the baptism that I am baptized withal shall ye be baptized." Jesus refers to the anointing he received (Ps.45:5-6) and in their case of the outpouring of the Holy Ghost, and adds,"But to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give; but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared." Jesus scrupulous chose to obey the word and as was reminded by Moses at the mount. of his death and glory would fulfill what was written of him in the scripture. the same choice was left to the sons of Zebedee and it was their free will.

The other ten disciples were naturally upset over their behind the back maneuvering for power.

The consistency of the Bible and uniqueness of Christ

In my last post I describe how the incident in John 9 set apart Christ as doing something new; that only God could perform.

This wasn't something the religious Pharisees could deal with; as the lengthy account of this incident makes painfully clear.

We also see Jesus' claims to be able to forgive sins as something unique; yet the many prophecies in Isaiah should have been enough to convince the Jews that this indeed was the true Messiah. There were references there to healing the blind; ministry reaching out to the Gentiles; as well as things such as Isaiah 61 that Jesus quoted and then cut off before the next verse got into the Second Coming and establishing His Kingdom on the earth at that time.

In the analysis of the "Old" and "New" covenants it is better to say that the New one developed the full meaning of the Old.

It certainly doesn't eliminate moral expectations in regard to murder; adultery and covetousness in the original 10 Commandments; we can look to Colossians 2:16 as to the exception of a mandate for "Holy days" as to not enforcing Saturday as the day of rest. This is a hotbed of controversy for some so I won't elaborate further. It is clear ceremonial laws changed; in regard to foods eaten the Cornelious episode makes that abundantly clear. ( Acts 10).

Christ became the sacrifice for our sins so no further sacrifice is needed. ( Psalm 40:6-8). Clearly the grace of the N.T. is seen in the Old Testament; particularly in regard to the sacrifice of a contrite and broken heart as seen in Psalm 51 and many other places. God Himself at some point abhorred the sacrifices due to the hypocrisy ( Isaiah 1:14). Many call Isaiah the Gospel of the O.T. and it is needed reading to understand prophetic things to come regarding Christ and God's call to the Gentiles.

Many places appear to show Christ before He came on earth physically; it is an interesting study in itself. So is the Godhead.

Mark 9:1-13 "As it is written of him"

"And how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought." (v.12)

This key verse shall explain this saying of Jesus. It also tells how vital was for the multitude that he called them as well as his disciples, so it goes to the very core of the kingdom of God. "For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it./For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?"(8:34-36). For my sake and for the gospel's sake is distinct from the Son for whom 'this day' is decreed. (Ps.2:7) So the gospel and the Word become flesh, the Son of man fulfills the provision of 'the seven days' in the everlasting covenant.

What God has sanctified covers the body of Christ and the duration of which is 'this day'. God was from the beginning and the Word was with him. Because of Adam and his disobedience sin entered into the world so with obedience what Jesus proved was the excellence of the soul which is the earnest of divine sovereignty of soul. Life of the vile body cannot let go "I will" So when the pomp and circumstance of the king of Tyre wants to impose his will he proves to whom he holds affinity. His will worship sets him as the son of perdition. "Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire./Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee." (Ez.28:14-16; "I will be like the most High./Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell."-Is.14:14-15)

God made man a living soul, and the life is what the Word become flesh made manifest. Humility of Jesus set at nought his own body after the likeness of men. So redemption of one's soul has only single way into the kingdom of God. "I am the Way" Ph.2:5-9)

    Mark 9:1-2 "Coming with power"

"That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power."

St Matthew also gives this and both converge to the transfiguration of Jesus, the baseline on which whosoever enters into the kingdom of God shall have in common. Both gospels give the tag, 'After six days' is where the Son and the Son of man merges in terms of the Word. Thus when Jesus holds his disciples to secrecy it is to the spiritual body that awaits him. In short Peter James and John representing all his brethren/Associates are given a preview of this kingdom coming with power. "for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom."( Luke 12:32). Little flock, servants, associates are stages of development in the life of anyone who wants to follow the Son of man. By the same token Moses Elias David,Isaiah Ezekiel John serve as double for the Son of man since God had foreknown them 'according to the scriptures' so what they said or did was in obedience to the Son who was the Word. At this high mountain where Jesus transfigured was a foretaste of what was to come. Coming with power also was within the frame of reference to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. That makes Joel also as a double. In short principle of Association is like a stone thrown in a pool causes the ripple widening to fill the whole extent. The bread from heaven cast forth in Ec.11:1-2 refers to the Son of man.

Bearing our cross and following him we enter the kingdom with power so our spiritual bodies, a building of God eternal in heavens we are to keep in sights. The same transfiguration as Jesus made manifest is our earnest as with the indwelling Spirit is our confidence."For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life."(2 Co.5:4-5)
