    Dear Jaz

Greetings in Christ JESUS our Lord and Saviour

    Thank you for your reply.

As it is written,"All Scripture is given by inspiration of GOD,and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:That the man of GOD may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

As you know, our enemy"is wiser than Daniel;there is no secret that they can hide from him".Paul Apostle warned, saying:Put on the whole armour of GOD,that ye may BE ABLE to stand AGAINST the wiles of the Devil.

Think you(and many)also know that the MAN of sin,a Jewish MAN,son of perdition, will manifest himself very soon as messiah and God( John 5:43-47and 2Thessalonians 2:3-4and9-12,and mainly Revelation 13:11 and so on),so we all MUST be careful.Get ready.

However, the prophecy of Ezekiel is very clear:Ez.28:7-10-->7 Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations:and they shall draw their Swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.

8They shall bring thee down to the pit( Revelation 20:1-3),and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.(peoples, and nations, and multitudes of all tongues-Re.17:15)

9Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee,I am God?but thou shalt be a MAN,and no God,in the hand of him that slayeth thee.

10Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised(he's a Jewish MAN)by the hand of strangers:for I have spoken it,saith the Lord GOD.

Re.12:9-12-->9And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

10And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven,Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our GOD,and the power of His Christ:for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our GOD day and night.11And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony;12Th

    Dear Terry

Greetings in Christ JESUS our Lord and Saviour

Here's below is what JESUS said to John in Patmos through His angel (in fact an Archangel- Revelation 1:12-13)

    Revelation 21:3-8

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven(heaven? Ephesians 1:3-8 and Philippians 3:20-21) saying, Behold, the TABERNACLE of GOD is with MEN( Revelation 11:15-18), and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and GOD Himself shall be with them, and be their GOD.

4 And GOD shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. --> Come up hither,

5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his GOD, and he shall be my son.

8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Dear Brothers and Sisters , how do wild animals treat the most vulnerable members of their herd ? The elderly , the sick , the disabled or deformed ? Those that can't function in the usual expected way ? They abandon them to their fate ,or they may even turn on them and kill them themselves , it's called survival of the fittest . Are we just animals , the cleverest evolutionary step on the ladder ? We are not , we are created in the image of our God and we are all His children , even those who don't believe are still His children . We are not to treat the most vulnerable people in the way that animals do to their own kind . This world and the people of it seek to denegrate and dehumanise the most vulnerable in society , accusing them of being worthless scroungers who should be trying much harder to be as useful and productive as everyone else when they are not like everyone else . They are weaker in some way and need our help , they are our brothers and sisters and God is watching us , seeing how we treat our weaker members . Are we like Cain ? Will we reply to God ' am I my brother's keeper ' when He asks us about our treatment of others who are weaker than us ? Would we dare say that to our God ?

Dear Brothers and Sisters I am reading Genesis at the moment and have just read the account of Abraham taking Isaac to offer him as a sacrifice to God . As I read where Abraham chopped the wood and laid it on Isaac's back for him to carry , I of course thought about God Himself giving His Only Begotten to atone for our sins but another thought struck me . What was Joseph's occupation ? Mary's husband was a carpenter . I don't know this for sure but I can imagine that he would have been compelled to do work for the Romans and I wondered , is it possible that Joseph made wooden crossed for the Romans to crucify people on ? Is it possible that Joseph made the cross that his wife's son was crucified on ? Many believe that Jesus too was probably a trained carpenter , is it possible that Jesus made his own cross ? If anyone has any thoughts on this it would be good to hear them .

    Dear Adam

English is not my native language, for me it's harder to speak of the theories of man-made than to speak of the Word of GOD.

To those that say age of the Earth is around 14 billions of years,we can counter argue that the number is not accurate, although to the common man it could be, the gods of this world(the common men made of the dust of the earth- Genesis 2:19)have blinded the minds of them which believe in them, believe in them which trie to plagiarize the science of the Most High and Almighty GOD, but the best of their conceptions in this field is nothing more than foolish conjectures and deceitful theories given by man-made scientific apparatus.

What we belivers must say to the atheists is that the age of the Earth is much much more than that billions of years age they claim. This assert lefts them very astonished,of course. What we must say to the atheists in the reply, is that the age pointed in their posts is the maximum limit that man-made scientific apparatus or measuring equipments of the scientists is ABLE to measure. So it has nothing to do with the age of the Earth. We could say unto them or would say that for measuring the age of the Earth the men need to invent a scientific apparatus more qualified and ABLE to measure beyond or over of what has been measured by the scientists to this date, then the false current theory of the Earth's age will be changed for a new theory.I'm sure they will never get do it first because the Universe is a GOD's secret, second because they not know that the Devil's world in which they are living will END now, even now, from now on,it has been pre-determined to start in this current decade,it with great and traggic destruction as was previously prophesied-confirmed by Revelation 11:18-,whereof GOD has given assurance unto all men in His former secret book of Apocalypse-Re.1:1-,sealed with seven seals, which were revealed to JESUS and were broken and opened by Him around 65 years after His ascension.

    GOD bless

Dear Brothers and Sisters some years ago some of the elders of my congregation went to Poland to do some missionary work and connect with our brothers and sisters there . It's just a small group as Poland is mostly catholic . They had the most wonderful two weeks of fellowship with our Polish family in Christ who were most generous and enthusiastic and great bonds of love were forged which still exist today . On the last evening there they held an official service in a members home and afterwards an informal meal . Just before they departed the Polish brethren got out a bottle of Vodka and poured out neat shots for all the men present . My brethren were a bit taken aback by this but not willing to offend after they had received such hospitality in the Lord they drank the shots in all good conscience . Afterwards they found out that this was a custom in Poland when friends part to share a glass together as a good bye gesture . My brethren realised how important it was not to offend their generous hosts for the sake of one small glass of Vodka . We must all be so careful to not offend each other over trifles as for us to offend each other is always grievous to our Lord so if we think we are going to it had better be over something very important indeed if we are prepared to risk our Lord displeasure toward ourselves . I have just noticed my lack of commas , this might have been offending some of you . I shall endeavour to be more conscientious with my punctuation in future .

Dear Brother hello and thank you for your previous messages that I have enjoyed very much . The Body of Christ is made up of very many different people from all countries and cultures and human experience this is reflected in our personalities which are all unique and all loved by our Lord . People are very very different and we all have our own unique way of expressing ourselves based on our personalities and perspectives which are as I said unique . This is a good thing I think . I don't believe that we should try to put ourselves or each other in boxes that give us strict boundaries on how we express ourselves . We already know that we are all Christians on here and therefore living our lives in the love of our Lord .That should be enough to inspire love and respect for each other . To make us all think and speak the same way is making robots and our Lord wants humans . First Corinthians chapter twelve is all about how we are all different and allowed to be so as we have the same Spirit of Truth in us . We can discuss on here as long as there are people to discuss with and if we are unhappy with things as they are then all we have to do is....start a discussion ourselves . Those who wish to join in will and those who don't won't . Discussions need people first and foremost but if the discussion is heated or impolite people may not feel willing or even able to join in . I hope you are not offended by me and my post I want to say what I truly feel but not offend I hope I have done both . Please forgive me if I have failed .

Dear Brother I hope you are not offended by me . There are many other subjects worthy of discussion other than those three that you mentioned . There are many fascinating things going on in the Bible and the more we read and understand the stronger our faith gets . There are many examples of humans living their ordinary lives and the challenges they faced these examples are helpful to us as we try to balance our lives in this world while we try to keep our eyes looking toward better things in the world to come . I have only just started commenting on here after reading this message group for a few years . I was nervous to join in as I noticed things can get very heated and sometimes cross the line of brotherly and sisterly love so I was reluctant . Everyone one here seems open to discuss their messages and I like it when things are calm and polite . I'm very happy with this site now more than I was with it in the past when things seemed a bit aggressive to me so I wouldn't join in . Please forgive me if I have offended you by interrupting your conversation .

Hello Dear Brother . As you read the Bible you will see that very many names have poinient meanings a concordance will help you with this . Throughout the Bible people have had their names changed by other people or even by God Himself . This is something that you should study for yourself and you will discover that it's not uncommon .
  • Jaz - In Reply - 1 week ago
Dear Brother if you take time to read the Gospels of Matthew Mark Luke and John you will discover that John the Baptist died quite early into Jesus's ministry so it's extremely unlikely that he penned the book of Revelation . It is much more likely that it was penned by the Apostle John .

    Ronald Whittemore

Honestly, your posts deserve the best of my attention.Oh dear Ronald, rest assured,I did not think what you think I did think. In the discussion, for me who really seemed to be in doubt was Momsage, not you.

Quoting you"chronologies can vary in years,Greek Septuagint has the flood at 2256 years from Adam 600 years difference",you mentioned it as an example of variation. What SOURCE is surely TRUE,for me what matters is what is at least the most correct,we are speaking of the Word of GOD.

So,for clarifying,in my understanding the final number of years it must hit with 6000 years. Each theory whose sum of years goes beyond 6000 years is wrong.Believing in that one GOD's Day is as a 1000 years.Based in KJV,we both agree the flood was 1656 years after Adam. But Septuagint has the flood at 2256 years.600 years difference.

Once final number of years must hit with 6000 years of GOD's work, so according to Septuagint we would be now living in the year 6627.It means 627 years of GOD's rest, and 627 years of establishment of GOD's Kingdom, millennial Kingdom of GOD. Would it be corret? In my understanding this biblical source is wrong. This is fake,it is tares to be burned in fire.GOD is a consuming fire.

    Yes,

Shem was one hundred years old, and he begot Arphaxad, two years after the Flood.

Then quoting you,"the year born from the flood",time begins to be accounted when Arphaxad was 2

Arphaxad begot Salah when was 35 -->37

Salah begot Eber when he was 30 -->67

Eber begot Peleg when he was 34-->101

Peleg begot Reu when he was 30-->131

Reu begot Serug when he was 32-->163

Serug begot Nahor when he was 30-->193

Nahor begot Terah when he was 29-->222

Terah lived 205 years and begot

    Abram, Nahor, and Haran; 205-->427

    Terah took Abram,Lot and

Sarai, and they went to Haran.

    After 60 years dwelling there,

Abram went out from father's house

and went to Canaan.Terah was 130

    when Abram went out from

father's house and went to Canaan.

    Dear Bibleman72

I have prayed for as requested. I will pray for you when I retire to bed tonight, too.

    Dear Kevin,

I will pray for a job to be provided to you that will allow you to work in peace of mind and heart My son also suffers from anxiety and depression and has panic attacks from stressful situations also. Finding the right fit job has been an ongoing journey for him. He is 34. His first baby is due in May and he just began a new job this week. So, if you could pray for him I would appreciate that. His name is also Kevin.

Kevin, I want to declare to you that your sins are all forgiven in Jesus Christ when He died in our place. This forgiveness is given to us as a gift and we can be assured that we are forgiven when we embrace Him and His work of salvation in faith. So, you say your faith is weak, yet you do believe the gospel. You do not need to have but simple faith in what He has done and declared in the Scriptures. He died and rose for you to provide forgiveness and salvation unto those who believe on Him.

I am so glad you have shared your needs on this site. It is always a good thing to ask others to pray for oneself. So, be blessed by the Lord today and trust that He hears our prayers, knows our desires and every need and will bring answers that are the best for us.

Dear sister what you are praying for are indeed honourable requests . I hope that God grants all your loving desires . Is your husband a Christian ? In all honesty his behaviour doesn't sound like that of a Christian man . I'm sorry for your situation and I hope and pray that God gives you a good resolution of it .

Dear Brothers and Sisters do any of you hold the belief that the book of Revelation is mostly about the fall of the roman empire ? If yes why and if no why not please .

Dear Christian Brother hello my name is Jaz and I'm new here . I've just read your message and it's so true . When I was a child I was told all kind of things about God by my family . As an adult I was shocked when I read the Bible for the first time to discover that so many things I had been told were not in the Bible . Sometimes the complete opposite ! It's so important for us to read the Bible for ourselves and not trust what people tell us to be true . God speaks for Himself in the Bible . We must pray for eyes and ears and open hearts and minds so we can come to know Him as He is and as He has revealed Himself to be in His Word . Our salvation is the most important thing and we must put our trust in God and in His Word not in how others interpret His Word . He has given us the Spirit of Truth we must be thankful for that and use it to read the Bible for ourselves .

    Dear Ronald,

You ask how can I say what I said about those who do not believe Jesus is God or in the Triune nature of God to a friend. i did not say that personally to you, but since you don't believe Jesus is God nor that God is Triune, then it does apply to you. I don't say anything like this lightly, especially when I know a friend will be offended. But, the reason I can say this to a friend is because of the love of Christ Jesus in me for you and others. It is difficult to take a stance like I have because I run the risk of losing friendships, like yours. I don't want that to happen. I am glad you will pray for me. And I have been and will continue to pray for you, my brother. May the Holy Spirit teach and guide us both in all truth. I hope to have more conversations with you in time. For now, perhaps it is good to take a break from one another and spend tie in prayer for one another instead. But my love for you and your friendship remains as it has been, strong and true. God bless you in all sincerity.

Suzanne, Happy to pray for you.

Dear Lord God, we come to You in prayer today asking that You heal Suzannes' back pain as You did mine. I pray that You will bless her with rigorous strength and health for the years to come. I pray that You bless her financially so that her needs will be met well without worry and trouble. You have made us rich in You in all things, and you told us to ask You for our daily needs. So we do that today for Suzanne, and all on this forum. Thank you for the way You have provided for us all of our lives and for Your goodness towards us. You are great and nothing is outside of Your control or providence, so we rest in You today, Maker of heaven and earth. We ask these things of You, Father, in the name of Your wonderful Son. Jesus. Amen.

    Matt.27:8-10 Akeldama (1 of 2)

" Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day.

"And he (Isaac) called it Shebah: therefore the name of the city is Beersheba unto this day."(Ge.26:33)The Spirit uses the phrase 'unto this day' signifying the day decreed for the Son. "Unto this day" as well as "on that day" (In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness-"Ze.13:1) are tags used to refer the Alpha Omega aspect so there shall be much blood spilt for what the nation of Israel did to him. Here is another verse, "For this city hath been to me as a provocation of mine anger and of my fury from the day that they built it even unto this day; that I should remove it from before my face."(Je.32:31)

God heard the voice of Abel. He told Cain, "the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground./And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand."(Ge.4:10-11) Abel's righteous blood cried from the ground and Jesus in his passion "and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground."( Luke 22:44). 'As it were' does not necessarily mean literal blood but the sweat is as meaningful. His cry of agony was like the Amen we say at the Lord's prayer and his Father has respect for his dear Son. "That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar./Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation."(23:35-36). For this reason the field of blood or Akeldama (Ac.1:18-19) could be well applied to the whole land of Israel.

"Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value."

    Dear Bennymlje,

You can always move to another area of the world that would work better for your mindset. As for me, I will stay in the U.S.A. because it offers the greatest amount of personal freedom and inalienable rights than ANY other country. None are perfect, but some are better than others for every tier of society. Those who are in poverty in America would be shocked to know the depth of poverty in other parts of the world and see that their own poverty is not near as difficult as billions of others.

I am long on America, with all of its warts and wounds, it is still a great place to live. Focusing on all the negative things you bring up is certainly your prerogative, but for me, I will look at the good as well as the bad. In doing this, I know that U.S.A. is far from a perfect republic of the people and by the people and for the people, but it has offered opportunities for advancement that no other country can say they possess. I come from a multigenerational legacy of poverty with ancestors coming here from Europe to get a better life. There have been much success through the generations and my generation is the first to raise our kids outside of poverty. It took 5 generations. My ancestors worked hard and faced more severe difficulties than most people alive today in our country, but they did not speak against the country that gave them opportunity and better prospects for their futures. Why do you feel a need to do this?

I have two relatives who came here from Africa through marriage. They speak of what happens today in their countries, slavery, raping of women, kidnapping of women, physical abuse of women, violence and death of relatives at young ages is more common than here. So many children are orphans due to AIDS and abandonment by their parents or children are sold to other Africans. Tribalism is very strong there and so people do not help people from other tribes or are discouraged from marrying outside of their tribe.

    Sin is worldwide.

    Matt.23:32-33 "Measure of your fathers"

"Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers." Here we can understand the world of the body is a closed system where law of sin run through the whole lump of flesh and blood, so being 'woke and cancel culture' are merely BandAid that nation applies to a sepulcher of the past. Statues erected to commemorate men of yesteryears fall in disrepute but fighting the past is only to clear the way for those who shall be thrown down in future. Thus man fights the phantoms of the past. The real culprit is the law of sin.

The Don Quixotes who tilt at the windmills are themselves "whited sepulchers,"and as such Jesus observes,"Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity"(vv.27-28).

St Paul writes of being born again. "If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new./And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ."(2 Co.5:17-18). What is this new creation but brought out of the world of the flesh to the everlasting life. Father of mercies accepted us in his Son. "Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:/Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son."(Col.1:12-13).

Despite of this liberty if man would prefer darkness what shall we call them. They are enemies to Christ. Jesus denounced the Pharisees and scribes and it applies in our times as well. Their culture wars shall continue since they have by rejecting the prince of life has rejected the wisdom that Jesus Christ of God signifies to us. (1 Co.1:30)

v.33 "Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?"

"Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption(2 Pe.1: 4)

    Dear Frank.

Thank you for reminding us of how your wife is abusing you. Will be praying for you.

I will advise you the same way I would advise a woman who is being physically abused-leave the abuser. Get yourself into a situation where you are removed from her so that she cannot physically hit you anymore. That is good for you and also for her. If you are not around her, she will not be allowed to continue behavior that is sinful and harmful to you and your relationship. I would recommend that you get away from her sooner than later. If you need to stay in the home, then document the times she hits you for a week or so and then file a restraining order that will require her to leave the home. it is healthy for both of you to not continue interacting in this way. I will remember you and her in my prayers today.

Matt.20:25-28 "It shall not be so"

" Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many." (v.28)

It is a categorical statement and rules of engagement in the Kingdom of his dear Son vastly differs from that of the pagan world. We shall see the damage done already by the miry clay so the strength of iron has become as oppressive as the weakness of clay has made their creed,-the liturgical worship of the congregation akin to the mumbo jumbo to which Jesus alluded,"But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking." This vain repetition consequently has made the faith they rely on to none effect. The same Scripture the imposter church follows as a believer yet so many doctrinal heresies would require so many denominations ,-and the religious wars of the past and inquisition with its instruments of cruelty that one may ask, "Is Christ so divided among you?" Jesus set an example but still the princes of the Holy See and TV celebrities overlord their flock as though they were entitled to have different rules than they impose on other. Jesus has clearly shown us an example.

"But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them./ But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;/ And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant."

Humility of the suffering Servant was not for himself but to give life as ransom for many. Jesus explained the reward of following him through thick and thin. They shall "inherit everlasting life.(19:29). Hope of 'every one that hath forsaken houses' is eternal habitations. "In my Father's house are many mansions". He has also given them a route map. "I am the way." ( John 14:2-6)
