Jesus was the fulfillment of Scripture in the Old Testament. Luke 24:19-27, Psalms 22, Isaiah 53, Zechariah 13:6, & many more.

The Holy Scriptures are broken down in Books & Separated by New Testament & Old Testament, none of which have been accredited as authored by Jesus. However many believe all were written about Jesus (redemption ) The Old Testament is before Jesus was born. The New Testament begins with Jesus birth, death on cross, resurrection from the grave, the witnessed accounts of Jesus life, ministry, miracles. Then continues the Good News os Salvation & ministry of the Church. Christians & Messianic Jews believe in the New Testament as Christ The Messiah the promised everlasting savior. Psalms 93:2, 1Kings 9:5, Zechariah 6:12-13, Psalms 89:3,4, 1Chronicles 17:11-27, Hebrews 8,

Matthew 8:4, Jesus obeyed scripture, Mark 1:44, & Jesus parents on Earth obeyed scripture, Luke 2:22,

Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit = Luke 11, John 20:21-22, Luke 12, Acts 1:5, John 14:16,26, John 15:26,

    2Timothy 3:16

Maybe this is apparent, but I don't understand: In verse 2, as the chariots were being described, "...the first chariot were red horses; the second...etc"; later in the description of where the chariots went, all were dispersed but the red horses.

Question: Where did the chariot with red horses go?

    Dear Sir:

I really love this web site. Right now I am semi homeless. I am doing this on the library computer. I only have a few min. left. I havent read the bible in a few days so this is really special. I have read the Bible from Gen. to Rev. like five times already. This is my sixth go through. I think that the more you read it the more it starts to make scense. It takes me 3 months to get through all of Psalms. Everyday I get a Psalm and a Proverb then I read the maine book. In this case it is Zecharia.

The Lord has spoken. The Prophets and the Apostles have done well conveying their messages towards us. It is up to each and everyone of us to believe, trust and have faith in the WORD OF GOD. Surely, It is indeed peaceful and joyful to be in the Kingdom of God. How much more to live an everlasting life with God.

    Revelation 3:22

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. (i.e. Believers of Jesus Christ and the sacrificial blood Jesus shed on the cross, living saints, sons of God, fellow heirs)

Grow in grace and in charity from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!

Hi Godwin. In this passage (Ezekiel chapter 21), the prophet Ezekiel is announcing a grave warning to Judah (vv 20,25) about their future. The repetition of the word "overturn", or as in Hebrew, 'to overthrow/bring to ruin', is a warning & denunciation of Judah's kings, especially the last one (Zedekiah), that that kingly line will come to an end (v 26) because of their many transgressions (vv 24,25). So repeating the word 'overthrow' emphatically brings home the message, 'what the LORD says & commands, will occur & Judah (& Israel) should be warned'.

Verse 27: so the prophecy is that the line of the kings of Judah will end, "until he come whose right it is; and I will give it him." There was no king after Zedekiah, & even though history records that after their captivity in Babylon, some priests of the Asmonean race (not of Judah) assumed the title of kings, they, nor anyone else would have right to rule Judah until the One Whom the LORD appoints comes & sits on the Throne of David ( Zechariah 6:12,13; Luke 1:32,33; Daniel 7:13,14). The nation of Israel has been without a king, since they have rejected the Messiah of God, but the day will come when God will restore all things ( Ezekiel 20:40-44) and Israel will acknowledge Jesus: "For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord." ( Matthew 23:39).

    Read John ch 14 v 13 , 14

Jesus answers your prayers , you have his word on it .

All authority is his given to him from the father God .

You can pray to the father , but in Jesus name do so .

They already know what's on your heart , but delight to hear from you .

Read about a man called George Muller of Bristol he mastered prayer and give great advise .

What man in the Bible is named after a Chicken in Zechariah
  • Chris - In Reply on Zechariah 6 - 3 years ago
Your observation is correct, in that there is no further mention of the red horses after 6:2.

However, in Zech 1:8-10, mention is made of "a man riding on a red horse". Now whether this horse has any bearing on the one seen in 6:2, is not certain, though in both references, the riders are identified as from God "and who walk to & fro through the Earth" (1:11 & 6:7).

  • Marlo on Zechariah 6 - 4 years ago
Christ reigning in the temple has a double fulfillment. The 1st is reigning amongst the believers the spiritual temple, and the 2nd meaning is reigning upon the throne of David in JERUSALEM as the Anointed One. Then will Christ have fulfilled the all-in-all methodology.
  • Sharon vanburen on Zechariah 6 - 5 years ago
The temple, made without hands. The body of Christ temple, is built with the born again who will reign with him forever. The branch is Jesus reaching out and bringing us into Him. This branch has never lost a leaf, and none has fallen to the ground. The roots are everlasting, and the leaves are always green. This tree is planted by the rivers of water, and the redeemed shall never ever wither.

Its the H.G. that is gonna build the Temple meaning a Spritual Temple. He is the branch of Christ meaning he comes out of Christ.Solomon came out of DAVID, SOLOMON MEANS COMFORTER IN HEBREW,Solomon was the one who built the Temple but Solomon is symbolic of the H.G THE COMFORTER THAT COMES OUT OF CHRIST THAT IS GONNA BUILT THE temple in US,He breathed on them and they received th H.G.TH COMFORTER.
  • REV. CLAY on Zechariah 6 - 6 years ago
The natural temple was rebuilt around 530 BC and it was people from afar. The people of the Babylonian captivity returned and rebuilt it. Jesus told the "Destroy this temple and I will rebuild it,in 3 days." He spoke of the temple of his body. The second temp @ Jer was destroyed in 70AD during the Roman Jewish war. Jesus was made a King and High priest 4ever after ord. Melch. Pro. Fulfille.
  • Isaac Miniel on Zechariah 6 - 7 years ago
