Gi-Gi...I understand your position...Its the very same position of the Church World...And these things are hid from the wise and prudent ( Churchanity) ..But revealed unto babes and sucklings that are hid till the womans gives birth to the Children... Rev 12:10

Gi Gi....Plz note the Kingdom does not come till the woman births the Children....These Children are spirits as Jesus said that which is BORN of the spirit is spirit which is the H.G. that Child of Promise...They are the result of the sower and his seed the contents of the book,...That New Covenant in his blood...Unless you receive the Kingdom of GOD as a lil Child you will in no wise enter there in...Thats y Jesus said the spirit of truth cannot speak of himself...Simply b/c he has to be BORN IN US...He is just a spiritual infant...And infants cannot speak for a while...As Gal 4 :1 says The heir as long as he is CHILD differs nothin from a servant tho he be LORD of ALL...Thats the H.G. that has to be born in us via the seed of Jesus...Thats y he has to know us in order to sow his incorruptible seed in our hearts...We cannot be bornagain of his incorruptible seed unless he knows us...Thats y he is saying b/c i have spoken these words ( his good seeds ) sorrows have filled your hearts....A woman when she is in travail has sorrows but after the Child (the H.G.) comes her sorrows are turned into JOY...GiGi how can you not see this heavenly birth of a baby Christ via the seed of Christ....That was the great Promise I will multiply thy seed as the stars of Heaven...Thus the babes and sucklings (Spirits) that are gona be born in us...Thats y he always refers to himself as the SON OF MAN...Which is mankinds fruit unto God.. Romans 7:4 A Baby Christ...She brought forth a manchild that is gonna rule all nations which is that Spirit of truth that is gonna be born in us that cannot speak for a season simply b/c he is just a spirtual infant...ok lemme go. GBU Gi-Gi...I pray that God reveals his son in you which is H.G

Fourthly, the Ten Commandments were given to Israel & were binding upon them. Some of their objectives were:

    a. to reveal the Holiness of the Eternal God to His people, Israel: Leviticus 19:2; Leviticus 20:7-8.

    b. to set Israel apart as distinct from all the other nations: Exodus 19:5.

    c. to reveal man's sinfulness: Galatians 3:19. Although the Law is "holy, just & good ( Romans 7:12), it did not provide salvation for the nation of Israel; and it cannot provide salvation to anyone who wants to or tries to keep the Law. No one will be declared righteous in God's sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin ( Romans 3:20; Acts 13:38-39).

    d. to show to humanity that not one person can fully keep the Law but everyone falls short of God's Standard of Holiness. Realizing that, should cause us to cast ourselves upon a Merciful God for His Forgiveness. When Jesus came, He fulfilled the requirements of the Law completely and by His death fully paid the penalty for their breaking it ( Galatians 3:24; Romans 10:4). Therefore, by His Obedience, He was qualified to be the accepted Sacrifice for all mankind, for all of our sins ( Hebrews 10:10-12). If Jesus failed in fully keeping the Law, He would have been disqualified as a Savior - all mankind would be forever stuck in the quagmire of their sins & hell would be the destiny. But He was raised from the dead to show His Father's acceptance, our justification & deliverance ( Romans 4:23-25).

I hope you can see Ani, that even though there was nothing wrong with the Law, even keeping the Sabbath by Israel, anyone who puts themselves under the Law (i.e. to find forgiveness or acceptance by God by it), is doomed to fail. Our Rest - continual rest (Sabbath) is now found in Jesus & not in Law-keeping & we can only be subject now to the Holy Spirit who enables us to fulfil both the spirit of the Law & finding the true rest in Christ Jesus ( 2 Corinthians 3:6-9; Romans 8:1-4).

Sin and the multifaceted aspects vs. the Spirit filled life

Surely; our sins will find us out ( Numbers 32:23). As will all things we say in the closet will be spoken on the rooftops ( Luke 12:3). Even Paul struggled as he said that he continued to do things that he hates ( Romans 7:15).

As long as we exist in these mortal fallable bodies our capacity for sin remains. That will; of course be done away with when the "perishable puts on the imperishable" ( 1 Cor. 15:53-57). As for now; we must remain "proactive" in order to catch things at the pass before they affect our minds; and then take a foothold on our souls.

The imaginations of men and the mind is where Satan takes a foothold. Romans 12:2 tells us to be thus "transformed by the renewing of our minds."

To understand sin we must see the root of the problem that is; our sin "nature". Such a term isn't specifically used in scripture; but we see how the "INTENT of the thoughts of their hearts were only evil continually." ( Gen. 6:5). I highlighted the word intent to show that there is a deliberate desire to sin; once men are totally unrestrained and we see this reflected in society today. Such behaviors also result in what happens in Romans 1:32 where sins of others are celebrated; as it were. Such is evident in many movements and demonstrations today.

There are specific ways in which sins have a stronghold; these include repeated patterns and established habits; family upbringing; demonic influence as to enhanced appeal of sensual and other experiences (or "highs") whether drug induced or not; music; support from friends; and other individual circumstances. The difference; of course between a true Christian and the rest of the world is that now we have the choice to pursue His righteousness and live in grace as the Holy Spirit sanctifies us. This allows us to be "treasure in earthen vessels" ( 2 Cor. 4:7) living out our days in fear (see 1 Peter 1:17).

More on walking in faith later.

What's the time line when satan was cast down from heaven?
  • Adam - In Reply on Romans 7:21 - 1 year ago
The reason a higher % of youth are deciding they're gay, trans, or whatever, is because they're psychologically groomed by motivated parents and teachers. They're pushed in that direction and rewarded if they say those magic words, and discouraged and and pressured if they're not. For example, wearing certain clothes or dressing up as a 2 year old means nothing in terms of a sexual identity. They're only two! They don't know about sex and don't care. They're kids playing. Most people don't even remember anything from that age.

Harsh judgment will come on any adults who groom their kids to think sexually or perverse or about disgusting sinful unnatural things. What we're seeing in the current evil society is people increasingly committing child abuse in the open and forcing others to accept that. People in society are even starting to push pedophilia and trying to normalize that. Obviously these sick evils are not from God, they are from satan. No, God rejects immorality of the world and so should Christians. One of satan's greatest lies is that people are born a certain way and therefore feel entitled to sin. That's really clever and a lot of people started believing it, but it's still a lie. Nowadays a child sees a colorful piece of clothing and puts it on and plays around and the parent is immediately ready to cut the child's body parts off- almost like offering their child as a sacrifice to a false god of the evil woke world. God is watching all of this evil unfold and many people will weep with regret if they keep turning from Him and following the world.

Matthew 18:6 "But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea."

Dear Rapture Man, thank you for a good response to MaxM.

Those of us who do not struggle against homosexuality like you or Max do not know how difficult to live a life where physical love and affection is off-limits due to same sex desires. This must be incredible hard to continuously repel such desires if one wants to live a godly life. It is the same for those who remain single but are hetero. They must continue to live a godly life that includes purity, chastity, and abstinence, just like those who have homosexual desires.

Those of us who are married should be careful when we try to counsel someone like MaxM. We do not know their mindset, struggles, nor the grip that homosexual desires have on a person. In your case, these desires stemmed from the long-term abuse you received throughout your childhood. You did not choose that yet even so, you are still caught in the trap of theses desires birthed from the abuse. I am sorry that you have had a lifelong struggle with this, Rapture Man.

I have three sisters who are lesbians and these desires started early in their teen lives before they really knew how to address them and overcome them. By the time they were adults they were trapped in this lifestyle. Why God allows this to happen to people at such a young age when they are not able to resist, escape abuse, or have a way to re-orient themselves is beyond me to grasp. But you are an example of one who continues to try to fight the good fight against what life has dealt to you, leaning on the strength of the Holy Spirit and the wisdom of the Word.

Thanks for sharing your story. Many of us need to hear it.

Hello, I assume you meant to reply to MaxM and not me.
  • RaptureMan2023 - In Reply on Romans 7:21 - 1 year ago
MaxM, a problem guys like you and I face is that we often reach out to Christians, hoping to find someone who will affirm our sinful inclinations or lifestyle. We're not to do that. Psalm 1:1 says, "Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly..." He is cursed if he does.

Too often, people who call themselves "Christians" are NOT Christ-followers. Many have never studied the Word of God from cover to cover, getting to know Gods heart. I have. Sadly, with love and concern, they wrongly counsel others, based upon their feelings and opinions. We must abide by God's laws, which are clearly against such practices: Leviticus 18: 20, 29; 20: 13; I Cor. 6: 9-11; Rev. 21: 27.

I've been struggling with same sex attraction for well over 50 years. I was molested from the age of 4-16; homosexuality was my mindset. I married (a smokescreen); before divorce ensued, I brought two daughters into the world. I've been a born again Christian for almost 57 years, but my struggle with this issue has been that long. Many times, I BEGGED God to take the desire from me. He hasn't; He says, "My grace is sufficient for you, just as it was with Paul."

Grace is not a license to commit sin; it is the bridge that keeps us connected to Him via obedience to Him.

So, what are we to do? Celibacy or marriage to a woman my friend. We cannot serve the flesh and Christ also; it doesn't work. See John 14: 15, 21-23. Paul said, "...It is good for them if they abide even as I" (celibate). But if they cannot control themselves, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn." I Cor. 7: 8, 9

Marriage is not for everybody; sex is, but we must control our passions ( Gal. 5: 22, 23). Is A FEW MINUTES of pleasure worth eternity in Hell? God sees our sacrifice; if we obey Him, He will reward us accordingly. Born again Christians are to "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Ja. 4: 7;1:12. We can't love Christ and sin too. Not much time left; choose wisely!

Please forgive my presumptuousness , you sound as if you are ready for marriage . You will only find true love with a Christian lady and I'm sure that there is one out there that is perfect for you and whom you are perfect for . May God bless you and her with the love and affection and respect of each other very soon .

    Hi MaxM,

We all have attraction to sin, because sin is very attractive and enticing. Satan helps make that happen and offers cute little lies to help deceive us into rationalizing it. It happened in the original sin and happens today. One of those clever little tricks is saying that my sin is my identity therefore its ok because I can't help it.

I'm going to take a risk here and say something disgusting to make a point. This is that part of me would love to commit a certain sin tonight, by entering a certain establishment and doing a certain activity. But God already said it's wrong and sin in black and white. I am a Christian and I also like this activity. But here's the deception: is that activity my identity? because I want it? Maybe it is, then I can't help it, maybe I was born to do it. Because it feels good, and I like or love it. And because of that, God made me that way and I can't help it. God wants me to love, right? I'm actually a victim actually. I'm only carrying out what God made me to do, right? Do you notice the pattern of rationalizations? Are these rationalizations true or a lie? I left this generic enough that this template can be applied to justify almost any disgusting sin that God hates like: adultery, prostitution, homosexuality, drugs, drunkenness, violence, murder, etc. Also: no one will know, it won't hurt anyone else, others do it too, if I don't, someone else will.

All these rationalizations are lies that people commonly do. Satan basically recycles the same temptations using the same flawed logic over and over, and we all struggle with and have temptations to sin. An opportunity presents itself and we have a choice. Are we going to follow God or not? Are we going to do good or not? Genuine Christ followers follow and obey Christ and are obviously to avoid all of these. The past can be forgiven, but we must stop it and sin no more if we are genuine about being a Christian and want hope for salvation. God bless.

    Hello MaxM.

I don't know if that was God's answer to your request, but if it was then the answer is obvious, you are in the wrong path. Homosexuality is a sin according to the Word of God, like any other sin. And if one doesn't repent and keep following a sinful life then the end is definitely not Heaven, even if that person is called (or indeed is) a christian. You said you are not a super religious christian, so are you born again? Have you been baptized in water, in Spirit? Do you attend a christian congregation? If not then start doing it. Ask Jesus to come into your heart and change it. Ask Him to free you from any kind of things that keep you imprisoned in a sinful life, some things only God can do, it is not up to our own capabilities. Look for and join a christian congregation where you can be tought the Word of God properly. And follow the narrow path(God's commandments). And remember, only the 5 wise virgins made it to the marriage, the other 5 were left out. All of them were virgins(believers) but only the ready ones, the ones that had light in their lamps(a shining life) entered Heaven. GBU

Without faith is is impossible to please Him. Picking a passage out of scripture and applying it is always good, except when you say there is the possibility of NO heaven. My friend heaven is all around you, the wind blows and you hear the sound, but you cannot tell where it comes and goes. Such are those who are born of the spirit!

Are you baptized into Christ? If not, repent and be Baptized

I flipped to a random page in the Bible and asked God to give me some sort of sign or reassurance (I am Christian but not super religious at all and am not very educated about it) and got:

    Romans 7:19

"For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do."

It is worth mentioning that I have strong same-sex attraction, which I am not really ashamed of, just extremely worried that I will not go to Heaven, assuming there is one, because of it. If I could turn any alleged sin into a non-sin, it would absolutely be gayness. Was this chapter a sign, do you think? What exactly could this exact passage mean in my scenerio? Do you have any advice?

Knowledge of Good and Evil: Analysis

A day or two ago; I quoted Paul in Romans 7:9-11 where he stated that before he knew about sin it didn't have a hold on him but then now that he does it slayed him (my own rough translation). THe LAW of course was what caused the death sentence; as many of has have read that he who doesn't follow the law completely ( James 2:10) and breaks it in one area breaks it all.

In looking at the garden and the tree of knowledge of good and evil it is good at first to examine what we can surmise about man (in this case Adam and Eve) in an innocent state; before the fall. In a sinless state; there would be no compulsion or even understanding of doing anything sinful and hence displeasing to God. Therefore man could have remained in this state of innocence had the tree of life been eaten at this time. Theoretically; since the tree of life HAD no restrictions on it they were free to eat it; but by Divine Providence they did not; because of God's foreknowledge that they were going to be fallen and that would put them in that state forever. The potential certainly existed in Adam and Eve much as it did with Satan in his glory as Lucifer in the beginning. Wisdom of knowing good from evil actually is something as Christians we need to pursue. To seek it for their own betterment or somehow because God was trying to cheat them out of something of course was the first wrong concept Satan was able to infest their minds with. This lack of trust in God led to them trusting themselves; and hence no doubt to TRUST Satan's lie was more to their benefit than their Creator's commands. Just how LONG this took isn't exactly clear for the fall to occur; just as with Satan. In Satan's case it certainly must have been quite a campaign to get that many angels to rebel that took some time.

No doubt the knowledge of evil and the sin itself was already occuring at some point after the serpent's message was heard; heeded and followed through.

Predestination part 3. (eternal fate heaven or hell).

When we are "conformed to the image of His Son" ( Romans 8:29) we see the concept of predestination and "first fruits" there; which would foreshadow a Rapture/Resurrection event. Another way to put it is that those who read the Beatitudes on a surface level or human level of understanding see a humanitarian sort of principle of for instance; how to be "peacemakers"; feed the poor; etc. ANYONE; even an atheist can do such things but it is only the Holiness of God through the Spirit after true conversion that gives us the reality of that in our souls. No amount of penance; self sacrifice or other actions can give us more of a desire for God's Holiness if it doesn't already exist in someone's soul! Nonetheless "faith without works is dead." ( James 2:17). Poducing fruit is essential for a true believer as we see with the Parable of the Sower and the seed.

There are also various levels of suffering in hell as well as rewards in heaven. We see this in Matthew 11:20-24 with several cities in mind. Also we see this in Matthew 13:8 as to the 30 fold and 100 fold producers (also see 1 Cor. 15:41).

I am fairly dogmatic as to those before the age of accountability not being punished for their sin NATURE since they haven't acted out the sin knowing that they are rebels against God. When we look at Romans 7:9-11; we understand this concept; and when we see the story of David and his son who died ( 2 Samuel 12:23) we see evidence of this amongst other places ( Psalm 8:2 for example).

Another way of looking at is is the verse "we will not have this man to rule over us." ( Luke 19:14). This is what all say who go against the Man who God has given all authority to in heaven and earth ( Matt. 28:18). If we disbelieve the living Word ( Heb. 4:12 etal) then we reject His authority and preservation as well as 2 Timothy 3:16 which states all scripture is breathed of God..

Or; Luke 10:16 rejecting you is rejecting me.

Then he said them that hears my words and keeps them, his seeds ...She brought forth a manchild that is gonna rule all nations... Rev 12:10 Which is the H.G. That Child of Promise the Kingdom.

    Trusting God vs trusting self.

There is something to be said for wisdom that comes from above in guiding our decisions; if anything simply trusting the Word of God on certain things like guidance on money ( Proverbs 10:2 on "ill gotten gains"; Proverbs 20:21 warns of a quickly received inheritance that is spent rapidly and or unwisely reminding us of the story of the son who squandered his inheritance in Luke 15.)

Similar things can be said for other basic issues in life such as behaviors that enhance or disrupt marriages and other family relations; as well as the general counsel not to trust in themselves. Proverbs 3:5-6 warns us about not leaning on our own understanding.

The difficulty comes in the seemingly mundane actions that the saved and unsaved perform every day. At least we USED to assume a standard indicative of verses like 2 Thessalonians 3:10 which interestingly enough was apparently repeated by Lenin (an avid atheist) but for some odd reason is missing from the far left today. Go figure. When we look at work; assuming that we are not a total criminal for a living (not to be the case as much today in society); we can certainly see how those who are highly skilled; making a "name for themselves" in the world as well as very rich can be much more likely to be caught up in their own accomplishments and status. What would be considered a disaster for them (i.e. having to do manual labor because of mental decline or their company folding) would be to many a cause of rejoicing who are struggling to survive. Such perspective of individuals inevitably squews (however you spell it) our viewpoint. Our natural affections are self centered as well as many of our personal dislikes. The Spirit must be renewing the inner man daily and those who are saved have access to this sanctification. There is ALWAYS contention between the Spirit and the flesh; it may lie dormant but sin is always present as long as we are in these mortal bodies ( Romans 7:24).

    Romans 7:35-39

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

    Romans 7:2-3

"For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man". The same goes for the husband, if his wife dies he is free to marry another woman. GBU

    Fruit of the Spirit.

    Part 2.

The flesh wants to have its way and is actually in competition against the Holy Spirit. So there is a danger of producing something besides fruit. And that which the flesh produces is not something that God can use; it's not fruit at all.

Paul himself experienced that struggle and described it in Romans 7:15:

For what I am doing [the new man wanted to produce fruit], I do not understand [the old nature would not do it].

You can be a child of God and be producing works of the flesh in your life, and if you are, you are not living by the Spirit of God. And I can tell you, if the works of the flesh are appearing in your life, you are a discontented and troublemaking child of God.

Paul was speaking to believers when he said:

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Galatians 6:7-9.

    See Part 3.

    Yes brother Spencer,

Thanks for sharing Romans 7:18. It is a great example. In fact, that verse is part of a chapter outline in Chapter 7 that begins at Verse 24 and goes to Verse 25, and it has to do with the performance in Sanctification.

In Verse 18, where Paul says in my flesh dwells no good thing, the word "good" in the text is the Greek word Agathos that has to do with Spiritual good. Not human good, but Spiritual good. So Paul says there is no Spiritual good at all in my flesh. Nothing! Zero!

I think Paul summarizes this whole section pretty well in Verse 25 by saying, "So with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with my flesh I serve the law of sin."

Wow, what a statement! The flesh will never serve the law of God.

In his (Paul's) flesh is no good thing. We see in Chapter 8 that he says that the flesh has no ability to serve the law of God. It's just all sin in the flesh. There is no spiritual good in it at all.

So Paul sees these two laws, that with his mind he serves the law of God, but with his flesh is the law of sin.

    God bless!!!

    Amen Brother Jesse.

Even when we act in the flesh as ww often do, we grieve the Holyspirit and the urge we get on the inside to correct ourselves comes from the Holyspirit. Paul says it best in Romans 7:18, "For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not."

Romans 7:23 I see another law in my members waring against my mind bringing me unto captivity to the law of sin that is in my members...Paul was at war with the Tare satans seed. Remember Jesus said when he sows that good seed the wheat...satan will come and sows the bad seed that Tare then war rages with in us simply the Kingdom is gonna be with in us..Paul said oh wretched man that i am..But Paul says if i do something I donot consent unto its not I that does it but sin that dwells in me..But No condemnation to them in Christ Jesus

.....Thats y Jesus says we must endure to the end when the Tares are burned from our minds and the wheat the H.G. is free and gathered to his barn the Kingdom..Rev.22:11 He that is unjust let him be unjust still he that is filthy let him be filthy still thats the Tare in our minds satans seed....But he that is righteous let him be righteousness still, He that is Holy let him be Holy still thats the H.G. the wheat Jesus seed within us in this war raging in our minds...Wheat and the Tares make us 2 ppl but 1 will be taken and 1 will be left...The 2 men in 1 bed is just 1 man that has been bornagain of that good seed but the TARES make him 2 ppl..Thats y Jesus said we must endure to the end which is the harvest.1 taken and 1 left..Gbu.

alex1939...Amen Gerald Hebrews 11:1 is the best description of faith, Its simply a spritual pregnancy that precedes the New Birth...The Child is the H.G. THE Child of Promise...When a woman is pregnant she has the substance of things hoped for the Evidence of things not seen...But in the spritual realm the bridegroom is Jesus and his words are his seeds...Thats y he has to know us, Thats when the good seed the living word is sown in our hearts...Forming Christ in us...My lil Chidren of whom i travail in Birth till CHRIST IS FORMED IN YOU...Thats y he always refers to himself as the son of man...Impling mankinds fruit unto God as Romans 7:4 tells us...Thus the Wheat is truly a baby Christ...Simply b/c the sower of that heavenly seed is Christ the bridegroom...Our hearts is the womb in the spirit...Thats y he is saying that which is born of the spirit is spirit thus the Child IS OUR NEW INNERMAN the H.G. the multiplication/regeneration of Christ in us..The Child is the Evidence we have known the bridegroom.

.....But this is gonna initiate war in heaven...Its gonna be Kingdom against Kingdom...Simply b/c satan is gonna sow a tare in

us which is satans seed...Remember satan the dragon the tare wanted to kill the woman with Child Rev 12:5 a great warfare with in us...This war rages in our hearts and minds simply b/c the Kingdom is gonna be with in us...The woman is the world as God so loved the world but she is also bride the good ground where the good seed was sown impregnating her with that heavenly seed...The Children of Promise an Israel of God...But these things are hid from the wise and prudent and revealed unto babes...Thats y Jeremiah saw all men in travail and birth pains... Jeremiah 30:6...Men & women are gonna birth a baby Christ...Kings shall be your nursing father and women are gonna be your nursing mothers..Faith under this New Covenant is gonna fulfill the great promise of multiplication n regeneration in humanity....ok lemme go

Alex1939....Matt i pray for you in Jesus name...Remember what Paul said in Romans 7:17...If i do something i donot consent unto.. its not i that does it but sin the Tare that satan puts with in us....We are in a warfare with satan The Tare/satan that wants to remove the good seed the wheat the good seed that Jesus has sown in our hearts...Thats y Jesus said the Kingdom of heaven suffers violence But the violent take it by force...Jesus is a man of war ...Remember Jesus told Peter satans wants to sift you as wheat...To remove the good seed of the Kingdom that Jesus has sown in your heart...You are gonna win this war in Jesus name Matt

..... Rev 22:11 He that is unjust let him be unjust still, He that is filthy let him be filthy still...Thats the tare that satan has put in us against the wheat a baby Christ the H.G...The good seed the wheat is a baby Christ b/c the sower of the good seed is Christ the bridegroom....Whosoever receiveth one such child in my name receiveth me...Which is the H.G. the babes and sucklings the Children of PROMISE.

.....But he that is righteous let him be righteous still and he that is Holy let him be Holy still....thats the Wheat a baby Christ the good seed that Jesus has sown in our hearts...Thus there is war in heaven which is within us as Jesus said the Kingdom of God is gona be with in you...Remember in Rev.12:5.. satan the DRAGON the tare is trying to kill the Woman and her BABY...which is the Child the H.G. That is gonna rule all nations...But in Rev. 12:10 After the woman births the Child the H.G. the KiNGDOM COMES...Unless you receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child you will in no wise enter there in....k Gbu Matt

The fact that you are feeling convictions that are causing doubt shows that the Holy Spirit is inside of you and working on you. Spiritually dead people do not worry about salvation. Only those whom are filled with the Holy Spirit have such thoughts. If your actions are grieving the Holy Spirit I recommend you be watchful of your convictions and turn from the things causing you to feel convicted. The Holy Spirit is trying to conform you to the image of Christ. Its not an overnight process its an ongoing battle against sin until you pass over into Heaven as Paul tells us in Romans chapter 7.

Romans 7:25 "I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin."

Ephesians 4:30 "And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption."

    Hi Prosperity.

The law was given to Israel but let's set that aside.

You are right in that you say, "The Commandments must be kept" Israel couldn't obtain salvation thru the keeping of the law and neither can we.

Christ came to free us from the curse of the law, that doesn't mean he did away with The Law.

In the old covenant "under the law" there was sacrifices made for sin. Those sacrifices pointed ahead to the only sacrifice that could take away sin AND regenerate the believer by the Spirit. Hebrews 10:3-10.

The old covenant had no power over the incurable heart. The new covenant humbled the sinner and pointed him in the right direction. "CHRIST" Ezekiel 36:26-27. Jeremiah 31:31-33.

The old covenant slew us and is called the ministration of death. Romans 7:5-11. 2 Corinthians 3:6-14.

The new covenant gave mercy. Why mercy? Because no one could keep the law, and no one is able to do so today. Putting ourselves in chains and grinding our teeth while restraining from sin isn't keeping the law. Galatians 2:21.

The commandments given didn't say keep the commandments as best you can.

You're breaking the law in your heart You're still a sinner. There's no sanctification. Christ came to give new birth and a new heart accompanied with mercy and grace.

The second you broke any one of them you were forever lost if there was no sacrifice that could take away sin. Hebrews 10:1-5.

It was the sacrifices that pointed to Christ that made atonement for those sins.

Israel having God in their midst with all the providence showed the world that the heart of man is incurably wicked.

The law showed that there was a need of a savior that could regenerate the believer and give a new heart and life.

The commandments are Holy and was given to a nation that was set apart to show man with God in their midst was nothing like God being "IN" them.

    That's what's available today.

    Read Galatians 3:10-26.

Perhaps more on this later this weekend God bless."
