    Hi Rose.

    Thanks for your reply,

Here's what I interpret out of the verses you have given. When I look at Revelation 14:1. I take this to be the same 144,000 mentioned in Revelation 7:4. "And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel."

This group here is 144,000 out of Israel being sealed for service.

And Revelation 7:5-8, reaffirms that these are all Israelites. "No Gentiles"

The group in Rev. 5.9. is said to be the redeemed out of EVERY Nation of all sorts of people of the earth.

Revelation 5:9. And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood OUT OF EVERY KINDRED, AND TONGUE, AND PEOPLE, AND NATION; " This group is unnumbered "

    Also the locations are different.

In Revelation 5 they're around the throne of God,

In Revelation 14:1. They're on mount zion. "Jerusalem. Psalms 2:6.

    You said,

"(God said he chose )only 144,000 to reign."

I'm sorry but I don't see where " HE SAID HE CHOSE only "144,000 to reign on earth or in Heaven.

I see that you have a different view.

I just wanted to share mine.

    God bless.

    SolaScript,

This isn't an argument I like, simply because we are not getting the whole picture, it's a dream state in Plato's cave.

I'm dismayed to report that your context lacks continuity:

Revelation 6 describes subsequent seals, through sixth seal events that lead up to and are actually kicks off (vs 12) the day of the Lord. You must have got mixed up here, made a mistake in scripture selection.

Revelation 7:13-14 These are the 7th trumpet saints, resurrected from the great tribulation and standing in heaven, they were previously getting sealed in verses 1-8.

Matthew 24:29-31 This sequence tells of the 6th trumpet (vs 29) and the 7th trumpet 2nd coming of Christ (vs 30). They are 2 separate events in time.

Isaiah 13:9-11 This is a classic 6th trumpet, day of the Lord depiction.

Revelation 7:15-17 OK, this is a millennium scripture.

The earth was not ever fully destroyed, and that is the absolute reason why Jesus intervenes on our affairs. Jesus returns when he does to stop anti-christ's feuding army from completely blowing up the earth. God lures the beast to Armageddon, where originally the beast was going to fight the false prophet to the death, until Christ showed up. If Jesus didn't save the earth, then whats the point of a savior? He didn't die on the cross in vain. I strongly believe you are reading this wrong, and limited sources doesn't help much.

Daniel 7:12 will manifest itself in our realm, like anti-christ will manifest himself after the falling away. The other beasts are nations, and peoples, not figments of God's imagination. These characters are real nations and real people, doing the Lord's will. The same on earth as in heaven, so above, so below. We are soon moving on to a new age, and changes are on the way.

Hi Tim. Today, we use that expression to describe the full expanse of the globe, or if people are coming for a conference from the 'four corners of the Earth', we easily understand its meaning: that almost all countries are sending out people/delegates for that meeting.

In the Bible (Old Testament) we see this expression often ( Ezekiel 7:2; Isaiah 11:12) giving us the Hebrew word, kanaph, which in this usage, means 'extremities'. In the New Testament ( Revelation 7:1) the Greek word is 'gonia' & here it means 'angle, corner, division'. So the 'angels standing on the four corners of the Earth' seem to represent the division of the earth into four, and each angel covering the quadrant assigned to him, holding back the winds. Today, we would use the four points of the compass to describe the expanse of the Earth ( Luke 13:29), though the meaning in those days was that 'people would come from where the sun rises, from where it sets, from where the North wind comes, & from the direction of the South wind'. All these speak of the 'four corners of the Earth', never implying that the Earth has actual corners, which could never be identified anyway, no matter how hard man searched for them.

    Rosa,

Dan was one of the tribes that committed idolatry. And God's judgment came on the tribes that committed idolatry.

Their land will be returned to them at the second coming of Christ.

So when you see the several lists in the Old Testament of the tribes, they'll line up differently than the 12 tribes that are listed in Revelation chapter 7.

Because of the tribes that were under the judgment of God for idolatry, they were not sealed.

But at the second coming of Christ in Revelation Chapter 19, the land and the boundaries will then be returned to the tribes that were under judgment. They are only under judgment up to the second coming of Christ.

There are, I'm sure, many intelligent answers that will be given in response to your inquiry. Some will be based partly in scripture while others are will be pure speculation. However, if you diligently research each explanation given you will find that none of them seem to completely add up and fall short. For instance, why are they listed out of order? They are not out of birth order anywhere else that I'm aware of. Did God have a moment of forgetfulness? Was it an error? Did God decide to change things up a bit from His established M.O.? The answer is "NO". God does not make mistakes and He does not change so the "logical" explanation is that there must be a reason for the missing names and them being listed out of chronological birthing order rather than being listed in order from eldest to youngest as per everywhere else in the Bible that I'm aware of.

Hebrew names in the Bible of people and places use a precise form of onomastics and transliteration, i.e. Joshua = Yhosua = "Jehovah or YHVH is salvation". Many examples are provided all throughout scripture (ex. Gen 16:14) Now, if you take this fact based scriptural knowledge and apply it to God's Word all throughout you will find the truth you seek. When applied properly to Gen 5 you will see God foretells the plan of salvation through Jesus (actual Hebrew name Yhosua). Now apply what you have just learned to Rev 7 and you will discover that the whole, complete and logical answer to your question is a veiled account of the Church being given as the bride of Christ a 6 thousand year struggle coming to an end, reproach being taken away and God turning to Israel to redeem her (as scripturally promised). Now at this point using this fact based scriptural approach the following verses from Rev 7:13-17 should suddenly become obvious as to what just happened. You will find the cipher key starts in Gen 29:32 and ends in Gen 43:51. Just organize them as ordered in Rev 7.

P.S. - 6000 from creation is upon us. Be blessed

You may want to google some on tis topic. What I have read is that tribe of Dan turned from Yahweh and set up a golden calf in his land of inheritance, turning the people away from the True God to idolatry. I encourage you to research more on this. I would be interested in what you find out.

    Brother Joshua,

You may or may not be right. I realize I am not smart enough to predict the end time, or spend time on conspiracy theories. I rest easy in the Lord, and I confide all of my worries to him. God tells us:

    Matthew 24:36

"But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only."

This verse is so very powerful:

    Zephaniah 2:3

"Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger."

God tells us above - that he may hide us in the day of the LORDS anger, that is the Meat and Drink that I focus on.

    Happy Sabbath Day!

I think the important point of Matthew 24, and Luke 21, is when we see these things happening at the same time; we are to be looking UP because our redemption is close.

If you'll visit THE TWO PREACHERS on YouTube; they are missionaries who also collect disaster videos daily, from people in other countries. They Mail videos in to their website to publish.

America is having our own disasters true, but combined with videos from other countries; you understand that the Last Days are advancing faster.

Signs of the times. We should keep a daily eye on Jerusalem Post DOT com as well. The Book of Daniel is one to study now.

Common folks know something is happening, but they may not be seeing it as happening world wide. As Jesus's followers we need to get this out to people on social media but not seeing the reality.

Jesus is coming for those LOOKING FOR HIM.

Keep a bookmark in the 10 VIRGINS PARABLE.

    Preach. Relate News. Tell Stories!

Think like an evangelist please! We are shepherds. We lead sheep to the truth and reality. We carry lambs. We discern situations.

Bossy and condescending are not good references. Tell me a Story of WHO The Good Shepherd is?

Today I cleaned through everything to find every Bible Tract or pamphlet I have. I'm handing them out door to door at my senior complex. I gave a pamphlet and a parakeet to a new resident who's lonely, from California. Her kids moved her here. The parakeets name is John the Baptist.

    He's loud.

Figure out what part you are in the Body of Christ. I'm feet carrying the Good News.

The end-time curses and plagues occur when anti-christ is in power, not before. The US Gov use media tricks that are planned propaganda to fool you. WMD? Chapter 9 cover 2 trumpets (5&6) and 2 armies (Babylon & beast) where the later smashes the former to dust. Matthew 24, Jesus describes the day of the Lord attack on the Lord's people, in the land of the Lord, Ezekiel 38.

"What follows is a preparation for the seventh seal, which is the weightiest of all. It is connected with the sixth by the particle and; whereas what is added, verse 9, # Rev 6:9 stands free and unconnected|. I saw four angels - Probably evil ones. They have their employ with the four first trumpets, as have other evil angels with the three last; namely, the angel of the abyss, the four bound in the Euphrates, and Satan himself."

Again , look in Revelations chapter 9. We find that the four angels had been reserved for a year , a month , a day, an hour TO SLAY A THIRD OF MANKIND. No doubt evil.

I wonder whether they are the four major mrna vaccines firms : Pfizer, AstraZeneca , Johnson & Johnson , and Moderna? Hence the "scorpions" in chapter 9. Possibly syringes? Or vaccinations?

Five billion people (and counting) who have been vaccinated. The scientists of faith tell us that they carry a legion of diseases. Some quick acting. But most slow acting but certain in their goal.

In the time of Noah, ( Gen 6 ) we are told that the "sons of God" ( rebellious angels were cast out of Heaven ) and saw the "daughters of men" and married them. This cross fertilisation of non/human DNA destroyed the pure human gene pool. The Holy Spirit could not indwell in their offsprings as they were no longer human. But Noah was "Perfect" ( Tamiym ) . The interpretation given in the Old Testament lexicon: complete, whole, entire whole, sound, healthful complete, entire (of time) sound, wholesome, unimpaired, innocent, having integrity what is complete. It lends itself to a PHYSICAL perfection.

Today, the four angels and their vaccines, if true , we are told, change the DNA of mankind.

Christ told us in Matthew 24 :"As it was in the time of Noah, so shall it be in the time of the coming of the Son of man".

It is also in that same passage that Christ says that He will send his angels to gather His "elect" from the four winds held by the four angels.

Hello Walter. You wrote: "if someone is first and last all they are stating the(y) are the only one." If Jesus has stated this (as in Revelation 1:8; Revelation 12:13), could He actually be identifying completely with the One God, from Whom He once proceeded from, as the Word of God given flesh? 'Alpha & Omega' is a very strong loaded phrase that can only be denoted to God, to which the risen Jesus Who sits at the right Hand of God, makes claim to ( Colossians 3:1; Hebrews 10:12; 1 Peter 3:22). If the 'only one God now is Jesus', what happened to the Father, Whom Jesus sits beside? Jesus not only prayed to His Father whilst He walked on Earth, but now reigns with Him ( Revelation 3:21; Revelation 7:10).

Hello again my brother in Christ

Appreciate your kind comments on my last post.

To begin, my comment concerning the number of resurrections from death by Christ must have not been clear to you. I know of only 3 recorded resurrections performed by Christ: Lazarus, John 11:1-44; the widow's son, Luke 7:11-17; and Jairus's daughter, Luke 8:40-56 I then expressed my opinion there were most likely more that were not recorded. I see Christ as a compassionate savior, and personally, believe more miracles were performed than are recorded in today's Bible.

My conviction the story of Lazarus the beggar is a parable is based on the Hebrew meaning of the name Lazarus meaning "God has helped". Christ was speaking to an audience of disciples originally and some Pharisees later joined the group, verse 14, and began to deride Christ. Christ then speaks to the Pharisees as to their violations of the Law and the parable of Lazarus.

The parable of Lazarus serves a twofold purpose. First it serves to emphasize the responsibility of those more fortunate to aid the less fortunate. Second, it foretales the rejection of Christ by the Jews, even after the resurrection. The first purpose most likely fell on deaf ears as the Pharisees because of their self-righteousness. The second was not realized and accepted by even the remaining 11 disciples initially.

Reference to the place of the spirit after death until the gathering of the church by Christ is referenced after the resurrection by Paul, in many places in scripture. Paul refers to the "holding place: as sleep.

Now, where did the souls John sees in Revelation come from and at what point did they arrive in heaven. Revelation 3:10 is easily interperted as the rapture before tribulation. Revelation 7:9-17 surely is post-rapture by content.

My point - the spirit of the vast majority of Christians do not enter heaven prior to the rapture. Enoch, perhaps. Elijiah definitely ( 2 Kings 2:11).

Thank you, my brother in Christ

    Revelation 7:1

And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

    Philippians 2:10

    That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

    Isaiah 37:16

O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.

    Genesis 2:4

These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,

Psalms 19:1. The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

John 1:3 - All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. Romans 1:20 - For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Ecclesiastes 3:11 - He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. Genesis 2:1

1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

Comment by Mishael: I pray for angels to guard the 4 corners of my home. I have never had any demonic manifestations for 36 years. God gave us DOMINION; and Jesus gives us HIS AUTHORITY to to stop satanic activity immediately.

I think Space dot com slash NASA has the best photos.

Hello Daniel nice to meet you:

    Sorry no tribe of Dan.

These symbolic tribes made Mary and joseph available

OR chosen to take care of the promise seed; Jesus Christ. Matthew 1; Revelation 7:4-8

by means of these tribes 144,000 will be chosen from God himself (from earth 50ad-?) to share as Jesus helper in Jehovah's ( Psalm 83:18) coming Kingdom. Revelation 20

However, the Dan tribe and many others also mentioned in Matthew 1 did not share in the baptism of holy spirit. ( Acts 1&2 Chapters). so therefore, they have a privilege of being

resurrected back to earth in the

    coming kingdom. Revelation 21:3-5

Glenn, thanks for your response: "If Jesus is coming here ,. An preparing for our Father to set up his kingdom, in Jerusalem, where is anyone being raptured to ? Where ya going ? I've heard of one rapture,.. but now 3 ? This is very confusing,.."

Precious friend, actually the confusion disappears when the THREE raptures "are LEFT In God's Contexts, Where HE Placed Them!" Amen? ie:

    PRE-TOJT rapture:

    (1) Body Of CHRIST Departure TO Heaven (Read/study Romans - Philemon) = God's 'Context' is ALL 'Spiritual!' We are not "looking for the man of sin/signs to enter into The Time of Jacob's Trouble." ( 2 Corinthians 5:7); We are "looking, watching, and Patiently waiting For CHRIST, Who Will Present ALL of The Body Of CHRIST, holy and unblameable and unreproveable, In His Sight, TO His Father, In Heaven, Where we Will Live Forever And Ever! ( 1 Thessalonians 3:13; Colossians 1:5, 22; 1 Corinthians 6:3; 2 Corinthians 5:1-2) Amen?

    MID-TOJT raptures:

    (2) During The Time {God's 'Context'} of JACOB's {ISRAEL's} Trouble, there Will Be TWO "raptures":

    a) one departure is of the TWO witnesses, killed, resurrected, and taken up ( Revelation 11:1-12)

    b) the other departure is of the 144,000 "sealed virgins of TWELVE tribes ( Revelation 7:1-8) redeemed from the earth," and were "without fault before The Throne of God!" ( Revelation 14:1-5)

Please refrain from listening to those who "MIX these up" in confusion. And:

Please Be RichlyEncouraged, Enlightened,Exhorted, and Edified In JESUS CHRIST!

The 5th seal saints are the fellowservants of the one hundred forty four thousand sealed saints, also dressed in white robes. The 2 witnesses die in the same manner as their 5th seal fellowservants, and are taken up to heaven ( Revelation 7:9).

( Revelation 6:9-11) And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
  • Jason - In Reply - 2 years ago
The witnesses are the one hundred and forty four thousand sealed from death for 42 months. They are showcased in 7 different chapters of Revelation, in different capacities, allegories and metaphors. Like their appearance in Chapter 12; only the witnesses, (the 12 tribes) are sealed and protected for 42 months.

When the witness are called up to heaven ( Revelation 11:12) and they appear in heaven as the one hundred forty four thousand ( Revelation 7:13-14) after being sealed 42 months prior ( Revelation 7:1-8) They come out of the great tribulation!!!

( Revelation 11:4) These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. These 2 olive trees and 2 candlesticks are both houses of Israel, 2 nations, before God.

There is no separation between the witnesses and the sealed tribes, they are one in the same.

Christian Greetings! There are other interpretations to consider thinking of the mark.

Here is one: A government that persecutes or suppresses the children of God may fall into the area of a beast government. This can be true even while the government performs services of law and order under God's will.

A person that joins themselves to a spirit of suppression or persecution by using the government as force, they maybe giving them their mind or forehead to this fellowship and if the government becomes their life; then it is like giving the right hand to this fellowship.

Christ Jesus wants his lambs to fellowship with him with their foreheads and right hands.

Revelation 7:3 adds to this interpretation.

It is possibly later than many think and chose to believe.
  • How to get started as a precious child of God - In Reply on Revelation 7 - 2 years ago
    Romans 10:17

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

    Galatians 3:2

This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

The more Bible you can get inside of you, the stronger you will be in your faith. Read John 3, ask to receive the Holy Spirit. Ask HIM to teach you what the scriptures mean. Ask for what you need.

There are things you can do also, it depends on your persistence to pursue everything the Holy Spirit has for you.

Personally I gorge myself on Bible Reading every day almost. When I wash dishes I listen to FM RADIO, Christian radio teaching ministers; sometimes on AM radio too. I like Paul Shepherd and Greg Laurie.

Sometimes when the news is shocking, I listen on YouTube to King James Bible: Faith verses, healing verses, spiritual warfare Bible verses.

Sometimes I may listen to some Isaac Air Freight to enjoy some comedy from a Biblical perspective. The more you get inside of you, the quicker you will grow up. We're to be sober minded for sure, heavenly minded, but able to not lose our sense of humor.

Sometimes talking to our friends and family is less frightening if we have a balance of everything in our "quiver". A quiver is the sling we wear with our arrows in it. God uses arrows guided by the Holy Spirit. They change us on the inside first, and then the Lord uses us to be witnesses. He leads; we follow Him.

    Mishael
