    Brother Ronald Whittemore:

    I agree with you.

Brother S Spencer is correct that from the beginning Christ was perfect, being the image of his Father.

But the word says he LAID DOWN that perfection and took on the form of sinful flesh.

He walked in that condition until he was BAPTISED by his Father, having the fullness of his Father's Spirit poured out on him.

Isaiah 11:3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord, and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, nor reprove after the hearing of his ears.

Job 25:4 How can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?

Hebrews 5:1 For every high priest (the man Jesus Christ) taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins,

Hebrews 5:2 That he can have compassion on the ignorant, and them that are out of (I am) THE WAY; for that he himself is compassed with infirmity.

Psalms 5:3 By reason thereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins.

Read Psalms 69, It's Christ speaking, this will open a whole new can of worms.

    God Bless You

Matthew 8:17 and 1 Peter 2:24 makes us understand that by His stripes we are healed, therefore I declare healing upon you right now In Jesus Name. Amen!

Matthew 7:7 says Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you and Psalms 5:12 says For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. I pray for you as you step out in search of a job, the favour of God shall compass you and you get that job that you seek In Jesus Name. Amen!

    God bless you

This is the first of a number of "impreccatory" Psalms. The conundrum in the minds of some today is that desiring our enemies to be destroyed somehow is contradicting the N.T. sayings of Christ to "love our enemies". We should see; however that in the GENERAL case of the fate of the wicked such sentiments (if I can use that word) toward the Pharisees were; shall we say not exactly "politially correct" at best; and led to most if not all of the TEN attempts on the life of Christ before the crucifixion. We should look at it in terms of the final fate of the unredeemed as Revelation states in chapter 21; verse 27 nothing "unclean" enters the holy city. This is fairly close to the reaction toward those in hell as seen at the end of Isaiah 66.

God surely gets no "pleasure in the death of the wicked". ( Ezekiel 18:32). To understand David correctly we must see it as the Holy Spirit and inspired scripture; although there were those enemies of his that he wanted to see eliminated. It wasn't for the sake of a personal vendetta; as can be seen by his patience with the "anointed of the Lord" ( 1 Samuel 24:6). Even when his own sin took Saul; David mourned over his death. We can look at Judas Iscariot and the prophecy ( Psalm 41:9). This was a man deliberately chosen and called who was predestined to be the son of perdition. Nonetheless; giving him the sop was said to be something honoring a person right before Satan entered him and he went off to betray him. (see John 13:29). Loving our enemies therefore is personal; whereas our attitude toward destruction is impersonal. Only God can make the personal judgment; and tdhat is impartial.

Therefore; the general message is the blessing of rightous (verse 11 and 12) and the destruction of the wicked because of their sins making them deserving of such a fate.

I'm certain that the Holy God of my understanding, since the very day I was given my first breath of air, doesn't by any means celebrate death. Actually, if given the seal of life you do not die but remain with the 12 holy chosen tribes with 120 thousand saints in each tribe granted to be in or on the Holy Mt Zion with The Holy One of Israel. If your education on the holy scriptures was on point than you would know death is the last demon to defeat.

Yes, Dan, we can thank God for His goodness and ALL that He is. The more we learn about Him the more we realize how praiseworthy He is, and so, this leads us to worship Him more perfectly in spirit and in truth. I have been studying and journaling about Him for the past two months. I just started it out from my study of Genesis 1 and wrote "in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." I noted, "This verse tells me first of all, that God is! And went from there to sites that cite Scriptures that reveal His attributes. I write I discover anew about Him and note the Scripture references. It has been so uplifting to do so! I encourage such as study to anyone who wishes to know our wonderful God more.

"And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, Whom You have sent." John 17:3

Our relationship with the only true God is the reason God created man as He did-to know Him. Think about the goodness of having eyes, ears, etc. to observe His revelation of Himself in history; of our minds that can think, reason, and store what is learned from His revelation; for language by which we speak and read about Him and His revelation of Himself as well as words to praise and worship Him; our emotions so that we can be moved by His love for us and return it back to Him; our ability compose music and song to praise Him with; our spiritual nature to yearn for Him and be regenerated by the Holy Spirit to believe and receive Him within us. The goodness of God is boundless like all of His attributes. Knowing that in His wisdom He designed us in such a good way to enter into profound relationship with the Creator and Maker of all things despite our creaturely limitations and His unsearchable, infinite, perfect, pure, holy, transcendent nature. How wonderful that He made it so that we can know enough of Him in this life and the next for us to be completely satisfied in Him, even though we cannot come close to knowing ALL that He is!

  • Seeking the Favor of God - In Reply - 2 years ago
The favor of God can be described as "tangible evidence that a person has the approval of the Lord." When we favor someone, we want to be with him or her. We delight in him/her. We connect with him/her in a way we don't connect with everyone else. We usually favor people who also favor us. IN THE SAME WAY, God shows favor to the ones who delight in, connect with, and give honor to Him. Isaiah 66:2 says, "These are the ones I look on with favor: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at my word." 2 Chronicles 16:9 says, "For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong on behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him." To be "perfect" toward Him means we seek His favor more than we seek the favor of anyone else, even ourselves.

Proverbs 8:35; "For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favor of the LORD."

Psalms 5:12 "For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favor wilt thou compass him as with a shield."

Proverbs 3:4; "So shalt thou find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man."

Satisfy me Lord with favor and fill me with blessing in the name of Jesus!

In the mighty name of Jesus, I claim...

    -help reading your Word, daily

    - divine wisdom from your Word

    - patience with my family

    - divine favor in family and business

    - prosperity, bless tithes and offerings

    -shield me from satanic attacks

-help finding a better job, home

    - lend me angelic support

    - the release of finances

    Isaiah 26:3

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.

    Luke 13:11; John 5:5; Acts 10:38; Acts 3:2; Acts 4:9

Speaking words of faith strengthen your spirit. Stay strong and you will be blessed for it.

Let all the saints pray for God's healing hand on all of us around the world. May the lost find salvation before the coming of Christ and be lost for all eternity. Pray for our country's leadership to learn the truth, speak the truth and walk in the truth of God Almighty. 2 Chronicles 7: 14, 15

The physical, medical, emotional, and political turmoil we face stem from our spiritual problems. Our relationship with God must be healed and we must reconcile our selves unto God. We already have the remedy before us. It is found in His Word. It is found in the Lord Jesus Christ. 1 john1:9

    Hi Melissa,

Here's one of many answers in the scripture to your statement /question,

""we are born to be vessels to carry what's within that some will make it and others will not some of us are born to guide and others to destroy what do you think?""

You're right we are vessels of clay, but these vessels has to be cleansed by the only one that is able, Our great high priest and savior Jesus Christ. Then only we can live a life acceptable to God.

    Romans 3:23-25 (KJV) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

    Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

I see you referenced Allah, May I ask are you Muslim?
