    Friends,

You do greatly error in the Truth

This is profession without possession, God's see us as we are.

go to your letter learning books & see what perfect is define as

    & here's one for you Matt 5:48

    complete, perfect, mature

From telos; complete (in various applications of labor, growth, mental and moral character, etc.); neuter (as noun, with ho) completeness -- of full age, man, perfect.

There's not a different standard of holiness stated here, for God & mankind, it's as our heavenly Father is perfect!

Our Standard has been lifted up, lets pick up our cross & follow our victorious Captian Christ Jesus

I will give witness my friends,

that the journey is very long, difficult & laiden with many snares of the enemy within & without; the pathway is very straight indeed. Psalms 23:4 His promise to me years ago Isa 42:16 & he has been faithfully faithful to Himself & me

I see the Light at the end of the tunnel, I'm even at the door! All I need do is to continue to love Him fervently & my neigbor as myself, & do unto to other what I would have done unto me.

Through all the very difficult hardships, I can in simplicity of heart say I would not change one thing, for in the very firey trials of my faith, I came to know Him, which make it more precious than silver or gold. I can see as press on to the higher calling of perfection, these experiences with Him will continue to increase though they will be a change of reasons 2Cor 6:6-10 & become more precious that life itself.

Friends, pick up the Cross-the Grace of God that appears in your heart, it is indeed He, the Emmanuel of God who is within you

speaking ever so softly in motions of love, kindness, rebukes & corrections all things that pertain to life & godliness.

    Friends, love Truth

    Hi MED960102

Supplement your heavenly study of the Word of our GOD,the Word of Life, with this wonderful, heavenly portion of the Scriptures about the Rod of our GOD,as follows:

1And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

2Speak unto the children of Israel, and take of every one of them a rod according to the house of their fathers, of all their princes according to the house of their fathers twelve rods: write thou every man's name upon his rod.

3And thou shalt write Aaron's name upon the rod of Levi: for one rod shall be for the head of the house of their fathers.

4 And thou shalt lay them up in the tabernacle of the congregation before the testimony, where I will meet with you.

5 And it shall come to pass, THAT THE MAN'S ROD, WHOM I SHALL CHOOSE, SHALL BLOSSOM: and I will make to cease from me the murmurings of the children of Israel, whereby they murmur against you.

6 And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, and every one of their princes gave him a rod apiece, for each prince one, according to their fathers' houses, even twelve rods: and the rod of Aaron was among their rods.

7 And Moses laid up the rods before the Lord in the tabernacle of witness.

8 And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds.

9 And Moses brought out all the rods from before the Lord unto all the children of Israel: and they looked, and took every man his rod.

10 And the Lord said unto Moses,Bring Aaron's rod again before the testimony,to be kept for a token against the rebels;and thou shalt quite take away their murmurings from me, that they die not.

11 And Moses did so:as the Lord commanded him,so did he.

12 And the children of Israel spake unto Moses, saying,Behold, we die, we perish, we all perish.

13 Whosoever cometh any thing near unto the tabernacle of the Lord shall die: shall we be consumed with dying

    GOD BLESS

In studying this particular psalm, it seems that (perhaps) there may be a difference between "thy rod and thy staff," in that they represent two things. "Thy rod," may mean God's discipline, while "thy staff," may mean as Our Shepherd, eg. how and where he leads us when we follow his Divine Will.

    Mel8:

Your comment about the CARPENTER is scriptural.

Isaiah 41:7 So the CARPENTER (Christ), encouraged the goldsmith (YOU; the body of Christ, Christ does HIS WORKS by YOU, his body), and he (Christ) that smootheth with the hammer HIM (YOU; the POT, his body, he is the potter) that smote the anvil (YOU are the arm of Christ: as Christ is the arm of his Father), saying, It (YOU: sinful flesh) is ready for the sodering: and He (Christ) fastened IT (sinful flesh) with NAILS (to HIS CROSS), that IT (sinful flesh) should not be (re) moved.

Mark 6:1 Is not this the CARPENTER .....that made all things NEW: by his death and resurrection ....

You DIED with the CARPENTER on the CROSS, YOU and Christ were made ONE by HIS (and your) RESURRECTION.

Isaiah 44:13 The CARPENTER (Christ) stretcheth out his rule (YOU), he (Christ) maketh it (YOU) with a line, he (Christ) fitteth it (YOU) with planes, and he (Christ) maketh it (YOU) with the compass, and maketh it (YOU) after the figure of a MAN (CHRIST HIMSELF), according to the beauty of a MAN (CHRIST HIMSELF), that it (YOU; the new creation, the image of God) may remain in the HOUSE .... Hebrews 3:6 --- whose HOUSE YE ARE --- Psalms 23:6 ... and I (Christ) will dwell in the HOUSE (YOU) of the Lord forever .... Colossians 1:27 ... this mystery ... Christ IN YOU ...

Philippians 2:13 For it is GOD that worketh IN YOU both TO WILL and TO DO his good pleasure.

1 Corinthians 15:54 ...this mortal SHALL PUT ON immorality ....

1 Timothy 6:16 .... Christ ONLY hath immortality .... dwelling in the light ....

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be IN YOU, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Philippians 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be EQUAL to GOD.

2 Peter 1:4 Whereby are GIVEN TO US exceedingly great and precious PROMISES: that by these (promises) ye may be PARTAKERS of the DIVINE NATURE, having escaped the corruption (by the death of YOUR flesh on the cross) that is in the world through lust.

    God BLESS YOU!

Dorothy You shouldn't use any Bible except a King James Bible. There may be some on this site that will disagree with that but don't listen to them. The KJB is the True Preserved Word that God promised us in ( Ps 12:6-7) v6 Tells us The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified ((seven times)). (A time in the Bible is 7 years, so it was purified 7 years? The King James Bible took 7 years to finish its translation) Also we are told in ( Proverbs 30:5-6) Every Word of God is pure. And v6 says "Add thou not unto his words" We are told in ( Jeremiah 23:36) "ye have (perverted) the words of the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God. The word (perverted) is #2015; it means to change. ALL modern version Bibles have changed the words of the living God. If God promised to Preserve His Words forever then we have it somewhere today or that verse would be a lie, God cannot lie! How did God get that promised Word to us today in the KJB? He used holy men of God in ( 2 Pet 1:19-21) The KJB has had the same words since 1611. Others versions have changed, and then some have even revised, or changed their own words again! ( 1 Cor 14:33) Tells us God is not the author of confusion. If 10 people read the same verse from 10 different modern versions, then you ask them to memorize that verse, would there be confusion among them, or would they all speak the same thing? ( 1 Cor 1:10) says that ye all speak the same thing, and there be no divisions among you. Would them 10 people speak the same thing? would there be divisions among them? ((Think about that.)) The word (pure) is #2889; it means uncontaminated, unadulterated, sound. Gods pure Words are in the KJB. Do not trust other Bibles they will be deceptive! This was pretty long but its really important to study the True Word of God. Blessings.

Pray as if your talking to someone but your talking with and to god ,just spill your heart out to him.
  • Mel8 - In Reply on Psalms 23 - 1 year ago
For me , the most important part of praying is to thank God . Thank God for everything , your life , your health , your food , your friends , your family etc . Acknowledge God as your Heavenly Father . Thank Him for His mercy and generosity towards you . Ask Him to continue to provide for you and sustain you , ask Him for other things for other people . Pray for His Kingdom to come , pray for the peace of Jerusalem , pray for the return of Christ . Lastly remember to ask all things through your Heavenly High Priest , Jesus Christ , the Son of our God , THE God , The Holy One of Israel . Prayers can be very short ( I always say thankyou for everything I eat , usually just in my head ) or very long , out loud or in your head and as many times a day as you like . Remember to be totally honest , as your God knows you better than you know you . You can read lots of people's prayers in the Bible , they can help you have some idea of what to say .

Robert, Welcome. Glad you found us.

Yes, you can ask questions anytime you wish. We all try to help as we feel led and we hope that those asking questions will get an edifying and informative response based on biblical truth.

Welcome Robert. Many of us come on this great website daily or regularly to do this very thing. We're itching to share our understanding of God's Word to those who have genuine, pressing questions on their hearts; because the Word is precious to us & uppermost in our thoughts & meditations.

But with all matters centered on the Bible, we would expect that the enquirer would be in prayer about it & diligently search the Scriptures for themselves even after receiving our responses to you. It is ultimately God's Holy Spirit that has to make His Word real & meaningful to your heart & life. Blessings.

    Amen U4YAH:

You are correct; most if not all of the Psalms are prophecies of Christ; AND, all the words of Psalms are the words of the spirit of Christ; AND, Christ has the spirit of his Father ( 2 Samuel 23:1-2)( Isaiah 59:21).

Psalms 23:6 Surly goodness and mercy shall follow me (Christ) all the days of my life: and I (Christ) will dwell in the HOUSE of the LORD forever.

Hebrews 3:6 But Christ as a son over his own HOUSE; whose HOUSE ARE WE ....

Colossians 1:27 .... this mystery .....Christ in you .....

Keep sharing as the spirit reveals HIS TRUTH to you.

    God Bless You!

There is no Biblical quick fix . Pick your Bible up and start reading it . Start either at the begining of the Old testament or the begining of the New . Read and pray every day and if possible start attending a church but , investigate the church a bit before committing yourself to it . Make sure it's not too money centered and that the sermons are based on the Bible . There's a wonderful life awaiting you , in this world and in the next . May God bless your efforts .

I would encourage you to knee down and repent your sins before the lord, the sins of jealously the sins of anger and ask God to show you any hidden sins in your life and repent anything he will show you

I want you to understand the wicked have no rest because they have unrepeated sins hence they try all they can to find rest

and ask God to remove this spirit of anger in your heart.

    as it is written

    Isaiah 57:20

20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.

21 There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

    Read this word

    Psalms 18:6

In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.

    Pray for an

    Ezekiel 36:26

26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Make your request known him to his God is faithful

every man, woman& i personally believe some animals are born with emotions, or what we humans call feelings happiness,loneliness,sadness,love,etc.etc. these are gifts of God, the Lord has them and we have them. its only the knowledge of good&evil in us all as imperfect humans and do apply it to a perfect gift that we ourselves create a sinful result. when we are mad and apply humanism to it we are mad then angry then RAGE that's a sin, sadness to depression, like someone, love them then LUST after them is a sin that we create. you can just about apply every natural emotion with a unnatural feeling that we take to the extreme
