I need prayers, I have to be out of my home by April, it is so hard to find a place when you get a very small SSI check to live on. Now my sister is here, homeless, supposed to be off drugs but I don't believe her. it is cold out so I can't say no but I can barely take care of myself. The utility bills are higher, the food is disappearing as fast as it comes in. she contributes nothing but she lies and things just vanish now. I know I am supposed to help her but I feel like I am fighting a loosing battle. pray God puts me on the right path, my nerves can't take much more. I love her but I am almost 70, and I'm tired of taking care of everyone.

    Hello Hope this help

A biblical concept of worship involves praising God and giving Him glory with our lips and our lives, with our words and our deeds, with our physical bodies and our spiritual hearts. Worship that pleases God is authentic, offered with clean hands and a pure heart ( Psalm 24:3-4; Isaiah 66:2).

King David danced "before the Lord with all his might" ( 2 Samuel 6:14)

    Revelation 5:8-11

twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one holding a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they *sang a new song, saying, " Worthy are You to take the book and to break its seals

Psalms 149:3 - Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp. Psalms 150:1 - 127:6 - Praise ye the LORD

    Luke 2:13-14

And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, "Glory to God in the highest,

And on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased

    Colossians 3:14-17

And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

In the past I have known 3 Bible translaters,(sp), and all 3 say Barnabas pined Hebrews, before that I always thought Paul had wrote Hebrews, Seems to me in every letter Paul wrote, His Name is in all of them that He did write, Im not a learned translater, but we do still have common sense and the Word of God Who IS the Author from cover to cover. Some Day We Will meet Paul and Jesus face to face, but We will have our new bodys and we will know so much more than we know now with our finite thinking, but as it says in Psalms 150:6, Every thing that hath breath, Praise the LORD, Amen.

That was a lovely testimony Alexis of how the Lord had been dealing with you, saved you & healed you. Even when Satan brings you doubts & fears, always remember how the Lord has been with you & give God praise in all things you face. Read your Bible often & talk to your Lord regularly.

Since you answered the altar call at Church, your pastor is well aware of what you've done in coming to the Lord. You should talk to him about water baptism as an act of public & private identification with your Saviour. Baptism is most meaningful & precious when done very soon after being born again by God's Spirit & you use that special event to also witness against the evil one that you are now God's child whenever he tries to create doubt in you.

So thank you for sharing that part of your life & may the blessings of the Lord follow you & strengthen you each day.

    Psalms 100:4

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

    1 Samuel 18:6

And it came to pass as they came, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, that the women came out of all cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet king Saul, with tabrets, with joy, and with instruments of musick.

    2 Samuel 6:5

And David and all the house of Israel played before the LORD on all manner of instruments made of fir wood, even on harps, and on psalteries, and on timbrels, and on cornets, and on cymbals.

    1 Chronicles 15:16

And David spake to the chief of the Levites to appoint their brethren to be the singers with instruments of musick, psalteries and harps and cymbals, sounding, by lifting up the voice with joy.

    2 Chronicles 5:13

    It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD;

    2 Chronicles 7:6

And the priests waited on their offices: the Levites also with instruments of musick of the LORD, which David the king had made to praise the LORD, because his mercy endureth for ever, when David praised by their ministry; and the priests sounded trumpets before them, and all Israel stood.

    Nehemiah 12:36

And his brethren, with the MUSICAL instruments of David the man of God, and Ezra the scribe before them.

    Psalms 68:25

The singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; among them were the damsels playing with timbrels.

    Psalms 87:7

As well the singers as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs are in thee.

    Psalms 150:4

Praise him with the timbrel and dance:

God of all mercy, goodness and love. Everyone has a soul. You want everyone to know you and to worship you as Lord and King. Please come into my heart and change me to become a firm believer in you, and to be more like you. Guide me to scriptures and to Christians that will help me learn more about you. Empower me to tell others about you, so that they too can come to know you as their Lord and Saviour. Amen.

God is Love. God is your strength. God is the light within to show the world His compassion on the needy and lonely ones. Jesus leads us to Him thru His Blood when you end your life on this earth. Live one day at a time. Moment to moment. Realize You are Loved by His compassion, as He loved His Son, to sacrifice His sufferings for our sins, as we are in this evil world!!!!

I love this Psalm. It puts joy in my soul. Music, dance, song, all is to the LORD. When we give HIM the glory, it's all joy. We can thank people because they are servants of God, BUT GOD gets all the glory! PRAISE HIM! PRAISE HIM!

Staying connected and living by his WORD, brings joy and happiness to my spirit, and this is something very special to me and my life. PRAISE GOD FROM WHOM ALL BLESSINGS FLOW. AMEN.

Wow 1st comment! I really love psalm 150. I love music both playing, singing, listening and dancing to it, so what this does for me is give me peace of mind. The way it speaks to me says that whatever sort of music I happen to be involved in, given that the range of activity here is emphasised and great, I can Praise our Lord with all my confidence! It 'd be fantastic to hear other opinions on this one. The peace of Christ be with you!
