    THE TRUE ISRAEL

In the Old Testament Israel was the CHURCH, a shadow of the coming true CHURCH.

Christ is the CHURCH, Christ is the promised ISRAEL through Isaac.

Christ SAID, destroy this CHURCH and in three days I will RAISE it up.

If you bear CHRIST IN YOU, you are the true house of Israel.

Hebrews 3:6 But Christ as a son over his own house (church), whose house (church) we are......

Revelation 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the LAMB are the TEMPLE OF IT.

Matthew 19:28 .....ye shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Zechariah 12:7 And I will save the tents of Judah FIRST...

The new covenant PRIESTHOOD comes from the tribe of Judah, the old covenant priesthood came from the tribe of Levi.

    Dear Heavenly Father,

Please tell Mike what to do to get help. And help him to submit to You. 100%. Your way Father. We pray for him tonight Lord please

be merciful. I pray that his will be broken and Your will be done. Please Lord he's tired and desperate. In Jesus name bless Mike with a wonderful testimony!

Mike, I've been there where you're at. I was homeless and felt hopeless. I was a mess.

One day I hit my all time spiritual low. I was so broken. All out of hope. And Help. I submitted to God 100%. That night I fell asleep and God spoke to me and told me what to do and where to go. The next morning I followed his instructions. I put in the work and kept the faith. I still had sin in my life. But God was merciful. He will help you when you seek Him with a broken and contrite spirit. Sometimes that's what it takes. So keep seeking Him, trusting Him. God is still moving today. He is still working miracles. Trust Him, pray and do not give up

Remember with man it's impossible. But isn't that when God steps in? Matthew 19:26

Hello Vincent. The Hosea 3:1 reference you shared wouldn't apply to your question, as that was a specific command given by God to His prophet Hosea to present himself & his 'family' to the people as a graphic demonstration of the way that the Northern Kingdom (Israel) was behaving towards the God Who loved them. In that account, we see a very sad demonstration that Hosea had to engage in, which impacted more people than himself, but God had to get through to His people in such a manner.

In the relationship that you presented, as much as the couple are both widowed, in their later years, & certainly unable to conceive a child, it still remains that the matter of sexual fidelity must still be maintained. As both are single & able to be married without fear of having committed adultery, the matter of fornication (i.e. sexual engagement outside of marriage) is still evident. I realize that marriage is more than a piece of paper which verifies what has taken place; it involves a deep growing love, commitment, faithfulness, honesty, etc., which of course can be had even without that paper. But the door is still open to renege on that commitment. Therefore, a verified public declaration of marriage leaves everyone with no doubt of the relationship - any other relationship can bring up questions & destroy one's witness & standing. And this type of relationship, particularly if based purely on sexual gratification, the Lord cannot condone. You can see Jesus' Words in Matthew 19:3-9, particularly verses 5 & 6, pertaining to the 'one flesh' union that is enjoyed & blessed in a monogamous marriage. And 1 Corinthians 7:1,2, where the apostle speaks of sexual fidelity pre-marriage, & to enjoy the fullness of the blessings of a deep meaningful relationship, then the two ought to be married. The persons in your question may indeed enjoy all the facets of a marriage even to sharing in a Last Will & all possessions, so to make it official would be a very small matter.

Ephesians 2:6 And (God, the Father) hath raised US up TOGETHER (you and Christ) and made us (you and Christ) sit together (become one) in heavenly places.

    Christian Greetings!

For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,

    Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

    Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

    Titus 3:1-9

And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon the twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

    Matthew 19:28

Ye shall not do after all the things that we do this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes. For ye are not as yet come to the rest and to the inheritance, which the LORD your God giveth you.

    Deuteronomy 12:8-9

While he yet spake, behold a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

    Matthew 17:5

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

    Matthew 28:18-20

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Please note the scriptures I've listed & pray about what I'm about to say. I once witnessed 2 children who asked to be baptized by the Lead Pastor, they were skipped over, another Pastor replaced the old one & once again those 2 children a boy & a girl asked to be baptized. That Pastor also asked them questions on the Bible, doctrine, taught them a special class, privately then decided not to Baptize them. In a short time other youths were baptized & they were skipped over again. I watched as those two children served in the church, many days & even during the celebration of the others getting baptized. Whom was more like Christ? Later those 2 children were baptized without classes & with people who barely knew them. Please pray for wisdom.

Brother Dan. Firstly, apologies for my comment appearing in the wrong spot in this thread; I did post it under your name, so not sure what went wrong.

Secondly, an example I can use in respect to what we're discussing is found in Matthew 19:16-22, in reference to the rich young man & his meticulous adherence to the Decalogue. I see this encounter between Jesus & this man as a transition from having 10 rules to follow to the letter, to a fuller understanding of the given Law, which is demanded by the Law-Giver.

Jesus needed to show him that as commendable his obedience to the Law was, his carefulness still failed to meet the full requirements of the Law. His wealth got in the way of a true love & service to God, hence his inability to follow Jesus.

So what was missing & a cure for this dilemma that would affect all Jews, even those who had this young man's zeal for obedience? I believe Jesus was introducing what would occur after His death & resurrection & the impartation of the Holy Spirit. The time would come when reference to the Decalogue would no longer be necessary or relevant; that the Cross separated the Law which brought condemnation & death & usher in the Law of the Spirit which took hold of all of God's demands as given earlier, with the fuller meaning & application that only the Spirit could impute in the believer.

Therefore, I see no bearing of the Decalogue to the believer, rather obedience to the Spirit within us Who speaks to our hearts ALL that God demands from His blood-bought. If I referred to the Decalogue as a measure of my obedience, I might tend to find satisfaction from ticking off all the boxes & then to my dismay find another Law working in me bringing me into bondage & condemnation. Therefore, my subjection is wholly to the Spirit & not to the Law. God bless you brother.

    Wesley's Notes for Matthew 19:24

19:24 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, (a proverbial expression,) than for a rich man to go through the strait gate: that is, humanly speaking, it is an absolute impossibility. Rich man! tremble! feel this impossibility; else thou art lost for ever!

People's Bible Notes for Matthew 19:24

Mt 19:24 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle. It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man (i.e., as already explained, one who trusts in riches) to enter into the kingdom of God. In other words, one whose trust is in wealth cannot enter at all.

Hi Carole, this has been circulated around for years, but I don't believe it's true. I think it was made up by people to not feel as bad about it being hard for rich people to go to heaven. I believe the Bible already said what it means regarding the eye of the needle. It's already symbolic and this extra layer of symbolism that isn't explained in the Bible, but only by hearsay, is highly suspicious. The Bible says it's hard for rich to go to heaven and I believe the Bible over man. I don't believe this is a punishment on anyone who is financially successful, but shows how important and extra difficult it is to not be corrupted by money and the love of money. It also says in v26 that all things are possible with God on your side.

  • DIVORCE, WIDOWS AND REMARRIAGE - In Reply - 2 years ago
These are most of the scriptures on marriage and divorce. Since you are a widow, you can remarry. The only hindrances come when you marry a non-believer. They may hinder you going to church; or reading the Bible; holding hands and praying over dinner. Here goes:

    Matthew 5

31 It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement:

32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

    Commentaries:

    Wesley's Notes for Matthew 5:31

Let him give her a writing of divorce - Which the scribes and Pharisees allowed men to do on any trifling occasion. # Deut 24:1; Matt 19:7; Mark 10:2; Luke 16:18.

People's Bible Notes for Matthew 5:31

Mt 5:31,32 Whosoever shall put away his wife. The divorce laws were very lax among the Jews. A man could put away his wife "for any cause" ( Matthew 19:8). Moses directed a legal letter of divorcement ( Deuteronomy 24:1). Christ positively forbids divorce except for unchastity. Marriage is a divine institution, and the obligation is for life. Mt 19:3-9; Romans 7:1-3; 1 Corinthians 7:10-17

You can read these other scripture references also.

I'm not here to make you feel worse. I hope you'll be free. My story, I seemed to attract liars, moochers, and charlatans. I had to raise a son by myself. I've been single 35 yrs. And you?

It made sense to me the scriptures I'm gonna share with you. My life with the Lord has been so full, that I finally realized I must be a eunuch. I chose this life of solitude mixed with a lot of joy and contentment living close to my Lord.

    Matthew 19:12

For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were MADE eunuchs of men (mankind) and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

I'm sure you've read Romans 1:25-32. I don't think your heart is in that lifestyle anymore. You want to be free. And of course, Satan wants to sabotage your walk with the Lord. See, he's not in human form until he finds a willing body. God gave you Dominion, Genesis 1:26. Jesus gave you His Authority to command satan and all his demons to GET OUT AND GO INTO OUTER DARKNESS. They are all invisible Outlaw spirits.

ASK God to send an angel to guard your home. You rid your home of every single item demons might use as an invitation to return. Acts 19:19. You'll know which items must go. Burn the memories of sin. Even hard drives. New ones don't cost that much.

Furnish "your house (you)" with a deeper walk with the Holy Spirit, Christian music, listen to healing scriptures on YouTube.

Not knowing your Church you attend, I do tell friends who desire marriage, to occasionally visit another church. "Ms Right" may be there that day. Visiting is just that. In Gen.24, the servant is like the Holy Spirit. Abraham sends him to find Isaac a wife. See the principal? Ask Holy Spirit to Help you. Don't give up now. Always let hope live in you. Be alert to repeat attacks and bind and cast out again.

You don't need help at all. All you need is the understanding that GOD left His throne and decided to be The Son of Man, The Son of GOD - He prepared a flesh HE named JESUS. Meaning to say, GOD, The Holy Ghost is JESUS CHRIST Himself (3in1). Whatever GOD responds is what comes first/ the reference/ the source/ everything. Whatever our understanding is or whatever we expect Him to say comes to nothing for we are just a bunch of nothingness. Even that jeopardy champion you mentioned doesn't even deserve a mention when we talk about Dearest LORD JESUS for no one else can't save us from confusion, from incurable sicknesses and diseases, heartbreaking problems, drug addiction, hell but GOD Himself.

Dearest JESUS sets a benchmark then we follow Him. If you choose to go the other way around, unfortunately, you'll be hell-bound.

    Matthew 19:21

"Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me."

If you are not an Israelite you can not sin as the laws were not given to you, neither can you enter the kingdom of Heaven. It's only for the House of Israel, 12 tribes. I am happy to show you in the scriptures

1 John 3:4 whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is transgression of the law.

Moses gave the commandments to the Israelites when they came out of Egypt: the house of bondage. No other nation have been given the laws. You can't break laws you were never given.

Psalm 147:19 He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel.

Psalm 147:20 He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the LORD.

Revelation 21:12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:

    Above this scripture describes the

outer perimeter of the kingdom as seen in a vision by John the Revelator. 12 gates for twelve tribes guarded by twelve angels.

Matthew 19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Sissy, may CHRIST IN US GRACE US with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

There are TWO deaths, TWO resurrections and TWO judgements.

The FIRST death was Christ's death on the cross, the FIRST resurrection was Christ resurrection and the FIRST judgement is the JUDGEMENTS (TRUTHS) of God's word.

God's WORD says WE (sinful flesh) died (first death, you died to Christ) on the cross with Jesus, we were RESURRECTED (first resurrection) with him and our life is HID in Christ, we are being JUDGED (first judgement) by the TRUTH of God's word NOW.

If you AGREE with this TRUTH and this TRUTH becomes a reality (LIFE) to you; you will be TRANSLATED to the LIKENESS of CHRIST at the death of this body of flesh and will never see death.

If this TRUTH does't become a reality to you; you will died and lay in the grave until the SECOND resurrection, SECOND death (you have to die to Christ), SECOND judgement (truths of God's WORD).

ALL MANKIND is going to become sons of God; but God does it in HIS time frame or in HIS different AGES.

Romans 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creature (mankind) WAITETH for the manifestation of the sons of God (those in the first resurrection that are TRANSLATED into the LIKENESS of Christ and never see death).

Romans 8:21 Because the creature (mankind) ITSELF also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption (death and the grave, second resurrection) into the glorious LIBERTY of the children of God (second death and second judgement).

There is ONLY one LIFE and that LIFE is CHRIST

    1 Timothy 6:15 Which in HIS times (ages) HE shall shew, who is the BLESSED and ONLY Potentate, the King of kings (those in HIS LIKENESS), and the Lord of lords (those in HIS LIKENESS);

1 Timothy 6:16 Who ONLY hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto .....

Mark 10:8 And they twain shall be ONE FLESH ...

Matthew 19:6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but ONE FLESH. What therefore God has joined together, let no man put asunder.

The Scripture that makes the matter of divorce clear, is Jesus' Own Words in Matthew 19:3-8, where He stated that divorce was never in God's Plan in the union of man & woman but was only permitted on the grounds of fornication; i.e. where the marriage bed was defiled because of the infidelity of one partner who broke the holy union of the "two becoming one flesh".

And since an illegal divorce opens the way for both parties to consider re-marriage, then this too results in breaking God's Commandment concerning an adulterous relationship. So we turn to the Apostle Paul who, in 1 Corinthians 7:3-5, gives a further comment for believers. They ought to remember that Christian couples now equally share in each other's lives & that a proper response of "benevolence" (love, respect, kindness) to be shown to each other.

Verse 5: Paul instructed those who had marriage problems to "not defraud (deprive) each other (of this benevolence)". But in a state of hopelessness, they could separate for a time, being in prayer & fasting, seeking help & healing of their matters from the Lord. The whole point of this was to prevent the marriage from being dissolved & that all steps should be taken for both to stay together & have their differences healed & their love & respect return.

You write of one being emotionally abused. I would say that the offender needs to be made aware of his/her callous actions. If no consideration is given or change seen, then professional counselling would be next (from the Pastor or another counsellor). If this attitude still persists, then seek a separation for a time using it to consider the damage being done to the other & gain help & guidance from the Lord. If all fails, I would say that a final separation or a divorce is in order as ongoing verbal abuse is just one step short of physical abuse, though realizing that after this, neither spouse can re-marry again, at least from the biblical instructions we learn on this matter. The Lord be with you.

Ray, If you've accepted Jesus as your saviour, then you have not committed the unpardonable sin.

Rejecting Jesus is the unpardonable sin

    Luke 12:9

But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

Speaking out against God isn't unpardonable, denying him is.

    Luke 12:10

And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.

And if you are in Christ Jesus, you are not condemned to anything.

    Romans 8:1

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

If you confess your sins to him, he will forgive you.

    1 John 1:9

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

And if by any chance you're scared God might take your wife or kids away, remember these:

    Matthew 19:6

Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

    James 1:17

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Just confess your sins and ask for forgiveness and don't worry about them any more; God will forget them.

    Psalm 103:11-12

For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. [12] As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

But don't use that as an excuse to continue in sin..

    God will chastise you.

    Romans 6:1-2

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? [2] God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

    Hebrews 12:6

For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

If you are ever tempted to sin again, read 1 Corinthians 10:13

Hope you find it in here. Mishael

Linda, May CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

I AGREE AND BELIEVE everything Jesse said in his comment to you. I will expand MY BELIEF a little more.

I BELIEVE that Christ; with the elect, are and will judge the world (Satan's kingdom that Christ took back at HIS resurrection). ( Matthew 4:8-9) ( Revelation 11:15) ( 1 Corinthians 6:2) ( 1 Peter 4:17)

I BELIEVE the parable of the workers; those called to work in God's vineyard, are the elect. Those called in the first hour are the apostles and others that took part in Pentecost. Since that first hour other workers have been called; till the present hour. Ourselves now being judged by the word of God; by our brothers before us, they being ONE IN CHRIST; have also become THE WORD, the BOOKS. ( Revelation 20:12) ( Revelation 20:4)

    Matthew 19:28

    Romans 11:31-32

Romans 8:19 For the earnest EXPECTATION of the creature WAITETH for the MANIFESTATION of the Son of God.

Romans 8:21 Because the creature ITSELF ALSO shall be DELIVERED from the bondage of corruption unto the glorious liberty of the children of God.

Revelation 10:10 And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.

Revelation 10:11 And he said unto me. thou must PROPHECY AGAIN before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.

I BELIEVE at the departure of this body we will be given THE FULLNESS OF GOD; which also will be HIS BODY, OMNIPRESENT able to judge others as he now judges us.

Just to add to this subject. As I also see the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven to be one and the same. Knowing also the details Jesse stated. As I was reading I just came across Jesus Christ using both terms coinciding. Matthew 19:23-24.

    God Bless.
