    Isaac,

Romans 8:28 basically states that the plan of God will be done through His "elect" children.

God also utilizes Satan's children to bring about His perfect plan, look at Isaiah 10:5, 19:25, Jeremiah 42:18, etc.

The "elect" children of God concerns "predestination," look at Romans 8:29-30, 1 Corinthians 2:7, Ephesians 1:5, 11.

Predestination has to do with understanding that there are 3 earth and heaven ages spoken of in the word of God, 2 Peter 3:5-6 speaks of the 1st dispensation of time; 2 Peter 3:7 speaks of the 2nd dispensation of time; and 2 Peter 3:13 speaks of the 3rd dispensation of time.)

The 1st earth and heaven age ended due to the fall of Satan, and is recorded in Genesis 1:1-2. The earth BECAME without form and void; God did not make it that way!

The 2nd earth and heaven age came into being when the spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters and God said Let there be Light ( Genesis 1:2-3)

The 3rd earth and heaven age is what all children of God look forward to.

God "did foreknow" ( Rom 8:29) each and every one of us because we were all there in the 1st Dispensation of time.

Jeremiah was (foreordained) a prophet BEFORE he was born ( Jeremiah 1:5).

God hated Esau BEFORE he was born because Esau despised his (birth)-right and (likely) followed Satan in the 1st earth age ( Genesis 25:32-34, Malachi 1:3, Romans 9:13, Hebrews 12:16)

So did Jesus die for Esau?
Malachi 1:2-3, "I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob, And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.." John 15:16, "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you..."
who made the choice? the apostles or Jesus?

Luke 8:10, "And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand." ( Matthew 11:25)
Not every one was given to understanding the things of God

Help time with John 3:16 - "For GOD so LOVED the world" - Who did GOD loved past tense ? Jacob Israelite's, refer to Psalms 47:4, Romans 9:13, Malachi 1:2, scripture is clear on that. Now the "world" - GOD calls the nation of Israelite's a world - refer John 18:20 and Isaiah 45:17-But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation:.....world without end. Candice is correct.

The wicked man blasphemes my Holy Father whose name IS JEALOUS. Who of this world, the last or the next, shall provoke the only true GOD; and profit? It is written, The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hastens greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. For jealousy is the rage of a man: therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance.

The dark prince who wants to ascend the throne. Be cautious about what scriptures you read. The one's of the "jealous" Lord is the dark prince. He's angry because Mother doesn't favor him. His ways are always to destroy the work of others. He is like a little boy eager for affection. In Heaven, all ignored him. So he went to the mortal world as an angel and demanded the mortals to obey him.

The jealous one. Ruler of the South. He'll tell his people anything just to try to win.

This book of Malachi is something else....it makes me jealous for Christ and the Father. This seems to be about the latter days and the heathen nations that , even now, seem to be praising Him and His Name more so than his own people do...Me? Guilty as charged.
If the current bunch in power do start to rebuild (which is Edomites then and now)...thus saith the Word(s) of God

Jesus says how can ye being evil speak good things. There is no good fruit that can come from MAN,Only Christ can sow that good seed that will bring forth good fruit which is GOD in us,THE SON OF MAN, MEANING MANKINDS FRUIT VIA THE GOOD SEED,WHATSOEVER A MAN SOWS THAT SHALL HE REAP, CHRIST IS SOWING THE GOOD SEED THE VERY SEED OF GOD IN OUR HEARTS AND TO WHOM THE WORD CAME IT MADE THEM GODS, SORRY

"..if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil?" Like the man who WILL NOT go to the door and enter the right way but tries to sneak in some other way; the man who doesn't come to God through Jesus with a good and honest heart by giving account of himself as God sees him and thoroughly repents and is converted; he will be rejected as evil.
  • A disciple on Malachi 1 - 6 years ago
Alex; once again I guess I had some hope, where it was apparently unjustified. "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink." "A fool is wiser in his own conceits than seven men who can render him a reason." The Lord may yet have patience, and let you draw this out as long as you think it can go; but afterwards it will show by the strength of the building what were those materials.

Disciple a good man is our new inner man born by his SPIRIT, His seed planted in us yields that GOODMAN WHICH IS The H.G. THAT GOODMAN HAS TO COME VIA HIS SEED WHICH IS THE LIVING WORD.NO HUMAN IS THAT GOODMAN.OUTTA THE HEARTS OF MAN PROCEEDS ALL MANNER OF EVIL THERE WAS NONE RIGHTEOUS NO NOT ONE,THERE IS NO GOOD MAN BUT GOD.TO WHOM THE WORD CAME IT MADE THEM GODS. ONLY GOD IS THAT GOOD MAN . GBU

Malachi 1:8 (cont.) For those also who hold on to the wicked words, and will not make themselves a new heart and a clean spirit before His eyes, and say, We're only flesh and blood and we cannot help it! Offering the lame and the blind and the sick to God; when He has made every provision to save you FROM YOUR SINS! is evil stupidity and hypocrisy, and proof that you are yet unsaved and contrary.
  • A disciple on Malachi 1 - 6 years ago
"And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil?" In Matthew 23, the Lord Jesus publicly rebukes the stupidity and hypocrisy of Judaism, and thereby every man-made form of religion used instead of walking with God in truth in His Spirit in the Name of JESUS. Jesus heals the blind the lame and the sick if they will come to Him for healing.
  • Doublenjay on Malachi 1 - 6 years ago
We have to remain as living sacrifices pure and holy before our God. Our God is holy and He demands that we be holy. Anything which is not holy is disgusting before God. We must also walk in righteousness and obedience. These are the sacrifices which God is looking from us to give Him with a clear conscious.
  • A disciple on Malachi 1 - 6 years ago
"And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil?" How is it that so many fancy themselves saved Christians, yet have no idea or care about God's absolute hatred and intolerance of sin and uncleanness? And if any rebuke the sin and protest to them out of the Scriptures, they cry out in self defense, You're full of pride! You're so mean!
  • A disciple on John 3 - 6 years ago
God loves everyone? What about Psalms 11:5? "The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth." And Malachi 1:2-4; "..I loved Jacob, and I hated Esau.." God first loved us, and sent His only begotten Son into the world to die for us to save us from our sins. He is good, kind, and patient, even toward His enemies; but for His love they are His adversaries.

the first thing you need to do Is want forgiveness and be willing to forgive those who have hurt you as well this goes hand in hand then out loud or in your head use the lords prayer and believe you received as well as you gave the very same forgiveness and you can begin learning the word agape which means unconditional love at least this is what I understand the bible is the knowledge.
