    Part 28.

    The Islamic Threat to Israel (Part 5) (Conclusion)

    By Dave Hunt.

    There is a generic word for God and it is Ilah, found all through the Qur'an such as in Surah 4:171: "Allah is only one Ilah." The confession one must make or die declares that there is "No Ilah but Allah" " (5:73): "La ilaha i' Allah, Muhammadan Rasoulu Allah."

    Of Allah the Qur'an says, "Far is it removed from his transcendent majesty that he should have a son (Sur 4:171); Certainly they disbelieve who say: Allah is the third of the three. Then how can the Arabic Bible call Jesus the "Son of Allah"? That Allah has a Son is denied 16 times in the Qur'an. How absurd, then, to use Allah for God in the Arabic Bible! What could, "For Allah so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son," possibly mean?

    A Cup of Trembling

    Israel only wants to be left in peace. It makes no threats against its neighbors. Yet Muslim nations have spent billions of dollars since the Yom Kippur War for the latest military equipment, with top priority for missiles carrying a variety of deadly warheads. The whole world knows these are not defensive weapons. They exist for only one purpose: to rain death and destruction upon Israel, bringing an end to its existence and taking possession for the Muslim world of all of the land God promised His chosen people.

    The world, in taking the side of Islam, is joining this pagan and violent religion in its open defiance of the God of the Bible. He has warned that He will punish all the nations of the world for two things they have done to His chosen people, the Jews: "whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land" ( Joel 3:2). This is a remarkable prophecy. Israel has been conquered by many enemies who have occupied it, but never divided it. Not even the Muslims did that.

    (Part-1):

    Hello Jimbob,

    To answer your first question, I have gone back and read through Matthew Chapter 24 beginning with Verse 1. The first thing I am looking for is who Jesus is speaking to. It tells us in Verse 1 that Jesus was in the process of leaving the temple grounds when the disciples (Peter, James, John, & Andrew) came to Him to show Him the buildings of the temple. Jesus gives them the prophecy concerning the destruction of the temple that happened in 70 AD.

    In Verse 3, these same four disciples probed Jesus with three questions: When shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

    Now from this point in Verse 3 on to the end of Chapter 24, Jesus gives these four disciples the answers to their three questions. I am trying to find reference to the church with what Jesus is saying, mainly in response to your question on who the ones taken are referring to, but I just cannot see this as being the church.

    Jesus begins answering their three questions in Verse 4. He begins by talking about the pains of birth ( Matthew 24:4-14), and then Matthew 24:15 is the pivotal point. Jesus is talking to Jews who are familiar with their Old Testament scriptures in Daniel ( Daniel 9:27, 11:31, 12:11). And then we see the perils of tribulation ( Matthew 24:16-28). And the finally, the promise of Jesus' coming in Matthew 24:29-31.

    As you probably already have figured out by now, I believe the church is gone already, so no, I do not see Matthew 24:40-41 talking about church members being taken, nor do I see those two verses referring to the rapture of the church. I believe the ones taken are taken into judgment. They are taken to fight against Christ when He returns at His second coming. My reason for believing this comes from Joel 3:1-2, and Zechariah 14:2. From what I see, it is God who gathers these people (the ones taken) into the Valley of Megiddo to face judgement.

    Hi Jimbob,

    I feel I have intruded on you and Chris, forgive me if I have.

    I will just touch on Matt. 24:40-41. I understand Matt. 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 are twofold, parts for the disciples for instruction for what they would endure and things leading up to the destruction of the temple and also for who will be living at the end times. In context of the chapter, we see "the coming of the Son of man." three times in this chapter verses 27, 37, and 39.

    Matt. 24:27 He will be seen coming as Rev. 1:7. In Matt. 24:29:31 after the tribulation the Son of man coming with power and great glory. Rev. 19:11-16, similar to Joel 2:11, Joel 3:13-17 Zechariah 14:1-9. My understanding this is about the Second Coming of Christ.

    In Matt. 24:36 we do not know when and we must be ready, we do not know when our death will be, it could be now. Jesus second coming is after the tribulation of the beast, we must be ready to not be tempted and be strong in our faith to not take the mark to save this flesh. Luke covers Matt.24 40-41 and just before, he adds this. Matt. 16:25 Mk. 8:35

    Luke 17:33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it, and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. God has said He will keep us from this, Rev. 3:10, but for those people who know the truth and refuse to receive it, He will send a delusion, 2 Thes. 2:11-12

    In Matt. 24:37-39 as the days of Noah so shall also be the coming of the Son of man, the ones taken away in Noah's time were wicked. Matt.24:40-41 Why would it be the opposite of Noah's time? It is like the wheat and the tares at the end the ones taken will be burned in the lake of fire and the righteous will be left. At Jesus's return, the ones taken before the end will be where the eagles are, Luke 17:37 Ezek. 39:17-20 Rev. 19:17-21 the battle of Armageddon.

    This is my understanding you may disagree and that is ok. Those in the first resurrection reign with Jesus on earth and there are only two resurrections.

    God bless,

    RLW

    Apparently, in the Old English era (approx 7th Century AD till the 12th Century), the word used for 'vat' was 'fat' (also spelled 'faet', with the a and e conjoined). Then in the Middle English era (from the 12th Century till the 16th Century), it was changed to 'vat', but it seems that the KJV translators (in the 1600s) preferred to use the Old English (maybe they were in a transitional period where other spellings were interchangeable & accepted, or if those from a certain part of England still maintained the old spelling, thereby using the old spelling). In any case, even in the later KJV printings, that word was not updated (though my 1978 edition shows 'vats'), which is very interesting.
  • Benny R. Olsen on Joel 3 - 1 year ago
    I have looked at the spelling you provided about letters changing over time to other letters.

    In Joel 2:24 and 3:13 where it says "your fats will overflow with wine and oil". Seems it should

    be "vats" not "fats". I did not see in spelling anything about the f changing to a v or vice versa.

    Thanks and hope to hear from you.

    Dear Verleen, I wanted to get back to you concerning your first inquiry about the two places that God does not abide. Scripture says that God the Father resides in unapproachable light in heaven as I mentioned in my other post. Scripture also says that God's presence fills the universe, including earth. So, God fills all things with His Presence. Scripture also says that He abides in the believers by the Holy Spirit. Scripture also says that God, our Lord Jesus Christ now sits at the right hand of the Father in Heaven but also resides in believers through the Holy Spirit, also. As Richard said, He even oversees hell, as His Presence is everywhere, hell not excluded.

    But as to the only please that God does not abide is in unbelievers. He is still Presence in believers due to His omnipresence, but He does not abide in unbelievers as He does in believers.

    I would like to list some Scriptures for you to look up on this. I will see how many I can get on this post.

    Perhaps here

    Joel 3:2. I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.

    I hope this helps.

    I was studying Law in Michigan when they voted & allowed the horrific crime of "Partial Birth Abortion" it was described in detail. Where the woman would go full term, into natural birth then,._(the act I do not want to even speak about how) they do the horrific crime, Killing the newly born child.

    In the Constitution of the United States it establishes the Right to Life. The Rights to GOD given Rights. Those are the Laws I would start with. I ask you to pray how you can honor GOD ALMIGHTY & protect innocent life.

    Toby,

    Matthew 24 is directed towards the whole house of Israel. One house receives the abomination of desolation, the other, captivity Joel 3:1 It was Jesus who went after the lost sheep of Israel, why would He exclude them from Mat 24?

    Ezekiel 38 is directed towards both houses of Israel, vs 9 & 16 show 2 clouds covering each land.

    Ezekiel 21:19-20 two lands destroyed from 1 land.

    Yes. America is mystery Babylon of Revelation 17, and allies operate the Babylon system. America has become the antithesis of God's church, that sits on 7 continents. Israel has become perverted, the daughter of Babylon. Babylon is defeated by the beast, and the beast continues on 42 months.

    The battle is referred to in 4 Biblical scenarios:

    1) the king of the north vs the king of the south, Daniel 11:40

    2) Esau vs Jacob, Obadiah 1

    3) the beast vs Babylon, Revelation 17

    4) the 6th trumpet beast army defeats the 5th trumpet US army to dust, Revelation 9

    Then, there are scriptures that describe the cataclysmic attack on Babylon's two lands, two houses: Revelation 17 (set up), Joel 2:1-11 (missile description), Isaiah 13, Isaiah 21:1-9, Isaiah 47, Ezekiel 21:1-24, Ezekiel 38:1-17, Jeremiah 50, Jeremiah 51, Revelation 18, Luke 21:20-24 (Israel's fall in same hour Joel 3:1) and Isaiah 24 (aftermath).

    Ezekiel 21:12 confirms that the attack is upon God's people. It will be 539 BC all over, again.

    The End of Days,

    It took you longer to see the tidings, but you are coming around. Before, and for the past year, you denied what you now are saying to be truth. That goes to say that only God can show you the way, when your time comes.

    God says the day of the Lord attack is "UPON MY PEOPLE". Ezekiel 21:12 God calls the northern tribes "Israel", the lower 3 tribes, "Judah" America, from its origin, is a co-birthright tribe, son of Joseph, Genesis 48 The same attack is also portrayed against Mystery Babylon, so if you are weighing the end-time narrative out, you'll see that Mystery Babylon (and it's allies) = Israel = America. Judah is invaded, Joel 3:1, at the same time America falls.

    America was envisioned as a shining star for the nations, but its star has fallen. The woman, America, became a whore, unrighteous, fomenting modern day Sodom and Gomorrah, the antithesis of what God intended. Therefore, God brings forth Russia to destroy them, Isaiah 47 This coming attack is similar to when Assyria took "Israel" captives in 721 BC, or "Judah" being taken by Nebuchadnezzar in 604 BC.

    Noah escaped the flood in a boat, Lott was rescued from Sodom and Gomorrah, the Israelites in Egypt covered their doorways from death. It is America that the beast Russia destroys within 1 hour, and the only cure is to leave. You have been warned to not partake in her plagues, Revelation 18:4, you have choice. The next big event is Revelation 6:14, the "scroll". If you know what's coming afterwards, it's up to you to prepare an exit.
  • Roman - In Reply on Revelation 13 - 2 years ago
    Ruth,

    Does Joel Richardson know that spiritually the land has been moved, and that Russia fits every description of the king of the north, Esau, and the beast? Mystery Babylon has moved as well, it's not in the ME; it is America. Russia and America will fight again, just like they did during the cold war, like Korea and Vietnam.

    What does Turkey have on Russia, who's making its beast move in Ukraine, threatening to nuke any US affiliated detractors? Putin has threatened Israel about the Golan Heights, and soon he will invade Israel and take then captive. Joel 3:1

    Richardson is wrong, and pushing that narrative in the end-times is a disservice. A false prophet steers followers away from the evolved truth.
  • Roman - In Reply - 2 years ago
    Richard,

    Nebuchadnezzar fulfilled Isaiah 17 in Assyria, 616 BC. No mater how hard the US and ISIS tried, they couldn't topple Syria. It was the little horn, Daniel 7:8 Russia, that saved Syria from America.

    The unwalled villages are the 3 nations anti-christ plucks after his "evil thought", Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish.

    Israel gets land expansion when Christ comes, not before. Look up the "greater Israel project" to see that Israel used the US to carve a buffer zone between Israel and its enemies. Nothing good is coming Israel's way for a long time. Israel will soon have their hands full with captivity, again Joel 3:1

    Amen. I think it's a great idea to keep our Governing nation in prayer, and pray they let God govern their hearts!

    When Israel did right by the Lord he gave them rest and the spirit of the lord rested on the leaders! Numbers 11:25-29.

    As a nation we've put together great writings on paper and we Identfied ourselves by these writings but we never accomplished what we have in writing. Sort of reminds you of Israel doesn't it? Actually Israel didn't just have the law written on skin, they had the Lord in their midst. But his laws wasn't written on there hearts! And this is the only geographical nation/Country that has been set apart by the Lord.

    That ought to humble every other nation! God has raised up nations in the past to do his will and then judge that nation!

    Habakkuk 1:5-6.

    Jeremiah 25:11-12.

    God used Assyria and Babylon to chastise Israel and turn the rod on them.

    God raises up great kings to do his will!

    Isaiah 45:1.

    Ezekiel 29:18-20.

    Pride goeth before destruction and an haulty spirit before a fall.

    All these nations fell! Now Let's look at Israel. Ezekiel 16:48-50. Notice verses 49 and 50? You noticed God called sodom Israels sister! When God brought Israel out of Egypt God called them his son. He was a father and a husband to them. But they turned from God so at this point he's telling them they have the same father as Sodom, and we know who that is!

    "He's not governing there heart" but there will come a time he will. Jeremiah 31:31-34. Noticed verse 33? He will put his law in their inward parts!

    Looking at Israel and the way the Lord raised up nations and later judged them should humble us!

    There will come a time when his nation will be taken out of the world and he will deal with all the worlds nations.

    Joel 3:2.

    So let's pray the lost people of ALL nations humble themselves and get on a tract they have NEVER been on.

    God bless and goodnight.

    They had their Bibles, they knew where all the key passages were. When we did courthouse lawn Rapture Movies Night, they ministered the Word. People got saved. They bought their own tracts to hand out too. Those were the days.

    If I've said it 50 times :D everybody will take a comic book tract. They like comics! Go to CHICK TRACTS online. You can read what you're buying. Write your church name on the back. Always sit with your "lambs" and introduce them around at church.

    I usually fast so I can pray when I feel God leading me to do or say something to another person that would take courage on my part or impactful to the other person. I want to be doing and saying only what God would have me do or say-non of me and all of God. I usually would fast from all food, but liquids for a few days up to a week. Hi Harold . Personally I think there are many ways to fast , depending on what you enjoy in life . I drink one bottle of wine a week , if I wanted to fast I could deny myself that for maybe four weeks ? You could maybe not eat meat for one week , keep your t.v. off for a week ? It's only a real fast for me if I am giving up something I really love and enjoy , probably a bit to much .

    Down in the valley life hits you hard;

    It can be as painful as a broken glass shard.

    With Satan leading & controlling your mind;

    You will struggle & despair as you wander blind.

    No matter where you place your feet;

    without Jesus you'll eventually face eternal heat.

    Do yourself a favor,

    Give your soul over to the redeeming Savior.

    Look to Yeshua for intervention;

    for freedom, & sins prevention.

    When you finally realize Jesus is real;

    Your heart will soar as you fall under God's seal.

    Sin will still attempt to grab hold;

    but now you have the Holy Spirit, a way to live bold!

    Jesus Christ is nearer then ever before!!!

    Many in Israel are coming to a Saving knowledge in their Messiah.... many more will during the tribulation period.
