Discuss Jeremiah 32

    Friends,

After reading two threads, which stated that "we could never love like God loves" I felt compel by Holy Spirit to correct this belief, that's unscriptural.

    Paul states 2Cor 5:14

The love of God that flowed through him, he states in Gal 2:20 it was Christ that dwelling within him, living, moving & having His being within Paul, having His mind, heart & spirit. & where Christ dwells He brings His Father with Him John14:23 & God is love, he became an living expression of the Godhead, there's no way that in this abide abode that God love was not known, felt, displays in his life. Have you ever tried keeping your human love in? What about God ?

Jesus states in John15:10 "abide in His love"

We must believe that we can Ephesians 3:19 as we continue to grow in Grace in the knowledge of His will that

Hebrews 10:10 for faith Gal 5:6

1 John 1:14 perfect love experienced, is what John the beloved "tasted, seen & handled" 1John 4:12

1 Thessalonians 4:9 God taught them how to love as He loves

John 13:14 "as I have love you"

    Folks,

To my understanding, Jesus prayer in John 17:21-23 reveals a union between the Spirit & Soul of our Creator & his creatures that unites us in such an wonderous way, that it took Divinity to imagine it, & the Son accomplish all His Father's heart desire. Matt 17:5

    Jeremiah 32:38-41 Love never fails.

    ROMANS 1:28

"And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;"

This verse; in a nutshell explains how; following man's expulsion from Eden that Adam's descendants-more or less willingly walked away from what they knew intellectually about God through the testimony of Adam and others who lived many hundreds of years into idol worship. This would result in the end of the antidiluvian world when Noah entered the ark; and would also signify the reason why God would use Israel to wipe out pagan nations once their "iniquity was at the full" (See Genesis 15:16 for earlier example). Israel was warned repeatedly not to follow the customs of the surrounding nations which often came through intermarriage or by obtaining cursed items. Sadly they hardened their hearts ( Jeremiah 32:35) to do the horrible act in Hinnom of sacrificing their children to Molech in the fire. God also judged Sodom; Gomorrah and the surrounding cities for the behaviors of men there of sodomy. Proverbs 14:34 states that righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach to any people.

This verse shows that there is a process involved when people drift off into sin; we all can see evidence of God in the Creation; even the Godhead as Romans 1:20 indicates (see also Psalm 19). Acts 8:23 shows someone in the gall of bitterness and bond of iniquity. This was Simon the Sorcerer; whose story began in verse 9. AFTER being baptized and claiming to be a believer he somehow thought he could buy the powers that the Apostles had of laying hands on people and having them receive the Holy Ghost. He was warned that he had no part in their ministry by Peter; and at the end of the story he asked them to pray for him.

It is hard to say exactly what Peter warned would happen to him or if he truly repented. We see; however a warning that it more than power in the gifts but the giver of gifts we worship.

    Friend,

You says, Paul was an exception to the rule? Would you please prove this by the Scriptures.

You says, Jesus comes into my heart, should be taken figuratively? 1Cor 3:16,17 2Cor 13:5 Col 1:27 Ephesians 2:22 Where else could He desire to be but within our heart, the seat & center of our very being. Proverbs 4:23 1Samuel 16:17

    You say this sounds strange?

Consider also John 17:21-24 the oneness & unity that God desires to have with His people, this is what God has set His heart on Jeremiah 32:40,41 & made available thru the NC; this is a God, that has said, with all His heart & soul ! Come on; have a little faith.

We're heirs of God & joint heirs of Christ, it is God Himself that is our inheritance Psalms 119:57 Psalms 73:26

You says, not by one staying home & God teaching him. This is exactly what God has done through the spiritual writing of the Quakers, specifically from 1646-1700 through the gifts Christ gave His church; in their writing I discover the intent of God's heart to cleanse one from all sin, & being united with God through Christ, which the Scriptures so manifestly declares & how God accomplishes it. Isa 64:4 1Cor 2:9 Psalms 130:5 I'm talking about that Word that is Rom 10:8 that comes by 10:17 Meaning Christ spiritual appearance within conscience/heart John 1:9 Titus 2:11 Obeying His Father commands 2Cor 4:6 which is the Treasure we have in these earthen vessels. 2Cor 4:7 to know the things that are freely given to us 1Cor 2:12

    Hi Giannis

    1John 2:1 but then he moves on: 1John 3:9

You say, because we have this sin nature, Not if we're born again, 2Cor 5:17, His Spirit of Grace has brought us through the regeneration & renewing of the Holy Spirit unto the new creature, created in Ephesians 4:24 Col 3:10. By His Spirit of Grace, the Cross, the old nature has been deny, mortify & finally crucify Rom 6:6,7 & We have become partakers 2Pet 1:3,4

Its very true, as you stated we, in & of ourselves we cannot stop sinning, its a hopeless situation. But with God all things are possible! Jeremiah 32:27

Jesus stated, John 7:17,18 Meaning; if one is practicing in their lives the doctrines of faith they believe & its not having the results the Word of God clearly states, then their doctrine & faith is not of God & their speaking of themselves.Their faith is not Hebrews 12:2 Matt 7:14

Friend anyone who would not be prejudice, can perceive that throughtout the Scriptures God is calling His people to be holy.

He kick Lucifier out of heaven when he sinned, He put Adam & Eve out of paradise when they sinned, He kick the nation of Israel out of the promise land when they continue sinning. Do you really believe He's going to allow anyone into His holy Kingdom that's a sinner? Especially now that He has sent His Son, if He was going to allow sin into heaven, Jesus could have avoided that horrible humiliation & vicious suffering at the hands of ungodly men.

No, my friend, sinners will not enter the kingdom of God, it not happenning,

Last par; HEAVY LOAD ON THEIR SHOULDERS, it an evident token that they have not come to the True Jesus Matt 11:28 because He's the John 1:29

OT promises, Isa 54:13 Jeremiah 31:33-34; confirmed in NT, Hebrews 8: 10,11,12; why is it that God doesn't remember their sins? Because He has cleanse them of all unrighteousness & has endue them with His Spirit & they sin no more. Jeremiah 32:39-41; The cause & effect of God teaching us Himself, & that by His Spirit John 14:13,14,15; with all His Heart & all His Soul; says the LORD, Selah.

Consider; it was not until the 14th or 15th century that these things became widely available, & then it was only to the learned & privilege. The Apostasy that the Apostles spoke of was already at work in their day & came into full maturity with the Roman Catholic's Rev17:2 for then the world was Rome. Daniel 2:40

    Who taught Moses, etc; even Jesus John 7:15; the disciples etc; one educated, Paul & he Philippians 3:7,8,9,10; he relied on Philippians 1:19; What about all the people in time that didn't get a chance to learn how to read or were in the remote regions of the earth were the Scriptures were unavailable? Or hear the Good New being preach in the power of the Holy Ghost? His words are, "from the least to the greatest". His Spirit is able to reach them to the uttermost, even the blind, deaf, dumb-mentally, etc; Jeremiah 32:27;

Chris, everyone; consider these things. God is just, He's not going to condemn someone for something they did not know. Rom 1:17, which comes by Rom 10:17; which is in Rom 10:8; continue Rom 1:19; & that by His 1Cor 2:10; He's that Light that admonish you in the car, follow Him & He will lead ALL that do to the Father. He's the Treasure 2Cor 4:7 that's opens our understanding to the knowledge & the glory of God, it's the face of Jesus Christ.

    You ask what define as sin? Rom 14:23;

Gigi, curious how you interpret these verses. Jeremiah 19:5 "They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind:" Jeremiah 32:35 "And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin." Genesis 6:6 "And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart."

Molech was child sacrifice, traced back to Egypt and Cannon, a form of justified worship prohibited by Moses. The word fire is italicized, and has been added. Not much different today, is the abortion ritual we experience today, as we march our children in the same valley, giving them a choice, subscribing them with no where else to go! The word "Fire" could be replaced with the word "choice". Molech is child sacrifice. Child sacrifice has a name in the universe! Fire would be the appropriate word. It demonstrates complete separation, Hell itself.

    Dave,

I'm not sure if your question was about GOD or man. I will try my best to answer it. Ironically " ambiguous " meaning double meaning._._

I think that GOD's WORD the Bible is clear, when we study, & pray for wisdom. James 1:5,

1st GOD gave people dominion: Genesis 1:26,27,28, = power, dominion ect. Within 2nd Generation & continued; 1st crime: Genesis 4:6-9, & Genesis 4:23, dominion with disregard for others, even anothers very life. Genesis 6:5, Exodus 1:8,13,16,22, even disregard for life of children

Even then though GOD doesn't disregard HE repayed. Exodus 12:29, Exodus 13:15, notice the whole chapter of Exodus 12, points to John 3:15,16,17, Again people with dominion & power disregarding life of innocent: Luke 22:1,2,7,20,54,63,64, continued; Luke 23:1,2,15,21,33,34,

Also: they killed their own children, Leviticus 18:21, Leviticus 20:1-8, that GOD had destroyed nations for that sin! 1Kings 11:7, 2Kings 23:10,

Jeremiah 32:35, ( how? ) it's unimaginable even to GOD ALMIGHTY ! Jeremiah 7:31, Jeremiah 19:5, 2Chronicles 33:9, 1Kings 11:1-12, Deuteronomy 6:14, Deuteronomy 7:1-8, why? Was it because they destroyed the children, had disregard for innocent lives of their own offspring? Images of GOD

Psalms 82:6, in context Psalms 82,

    GOD will Judge: Matthew 25:31-46, Matthew 18:5,6,10,14, Matthew 19:14, Mark 9:42, Luke 17:2, 2Peter 2:7-9, Psalms 9:7,

If your question is regarding "us" "believers" Luke 12:32, Revelation 21,

There will be suffering here on Earth but promises to those who endure, Matthew 24, Mark 13, Revelation 10, 2Timothy 2:3, Revelation 6:9-11,

    Hopefully these are helpful

Not to debate you on this because to hold the view you hold you would have to ignore 2 thirds of scripture.

    Here's just a few.

Ezekiel 11:17-20 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.

And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.

And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

Jeremiah 32:37-40. Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, whither I have driven them in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely:

And they shall be my people, and I will be their God:

And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:

And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.

Isaiah 48:8-11. Yea, thou heardest not; yea, thou knewest not; yea, from that time that thine ear was not opened: for I KNEW THAT THOU WOULDEST DEAL VERY TREACHEROUSLY, AND WAST CALLED A TRANSGRESSORS FROM THE WOMB.

FOR MY NAME'S SAKE WILL I DEFER MINE ANGER, and for my praise will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off.

Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.

FOR MINE OWN SAKE, EVEN FOR MINE OWN SAKE, WILL I DO IT: FOR HOW SHOULD MY NAME BE POLLUTED? And I WILL NOT GIVE MY GLORY UNTO ANOTHER.

God's name is tied to the existence and restoration of Israel.

According to Christ; "His sheep hear His voice." ( John 10:27). 2 Tim. 2:24-26 indicate that repentance indeed is a gift from God.

The basic premise is that we are all "children of wrath" by nature under condemnation apart from Christ. ( Eph. 2:3). If we cannot understand that man's heart is estranged from God; and that at best we try to avoid the consequences of sin rather than have any true remorse for offending a Holy; righteous and just God then we simply are living out a works based theology. Titus 1:15 shows further how our best actions are contaminated and defiled.

Human love only shows true affection for those who love us ( Matthew 5:46-48). To love those who "despitefully use us" ( Matthew 5:44) takes a change of heart; a Divine intervention and infusion of the Holy Spirit again which is given by God ( Ezekiel 36:26).

From OUR perspective we see ourselves drawn to the one from all eternity who created all things. ( Ecclesiastes 3:11). This verse shows again how even THIS is instigated in man's conscience by God. We need to realize that there is a process involved; as the parable of the seed and the sowers indicates. The seed from God (again planted on His initiative) is introduced; and ultimately must progress until "fruit is produced" (see also Matthew 3:8). TRUE repentance will overcome temptations that the Lord uses to prune us; as He "chastises all those He loves" ( Heb. 12:6; etc). God therefore initiates salvation; and the whole sanctification process ultimately leading to glorification ( Romans 8:17).

When we are saved; we have new desires to serve God and rejoice in the thought of service to Him now and in eternity. We begin a process of mortification of the deeds of the flesh ( Romans 8:13). From our perspective; we need to accept the truth about ourselves and our utter hopelessness apart from Christ in our own strength. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom ) Proverbs 9; Psalm 111; etc). Jeremiah 32:40 shows God gives that

1Kings 3:1, 2Chronicles 8:11, this seems to be an on going concern/compromise? Not that God "would allow Solomon to veer, from his good start", James 1:13-16

    1Kings 6:12,13, 1Kings 7:8, 1Kings 9:2-9, 1Kings 11:1-3, 1Kings 11:4-6,

1Kings 11:7, isn't that the horrible thing that started abortion? Leviticus 18:21, Leviticus 20:2,3,4,5, Jeremiah 32:35, it seems to have caused sin multipled please see 2Kings 23, how long did those sins stay among the people? How sad for people who follow someone that leads them astray. & when a "wise" king sets up evil, how difficult is it to take out what an admired person sets up? 2Kings 23:13, 1Kings 14:21-31, 2Chronicles 33, Nehemiah 13:26,

also the contrary teachings, is that what made his son disrespectful to the elders, hypocrisy? 1Kings 12,? 2Chronicles 10:6 -8, ?

    1Kings 11:9-11,

    1Kings 11:12-14,

1Kings 11:40, isn't those actions like Saul's, unlike David who showed mercy to GOD's anointted.

1Chronicles 28:9 "And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the GOD of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the Lord searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever."

    Hi Terry.

    I concur with Brother Jesse

Here's a few verses that goes well with Philippians 2:12-13.

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Philippians 1:6.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

    1 Peter 1:3-5.

Even in the old testament God put it on man's heart to will them.

    Jeremiah 32:38-40.

It takes an act of God to perform the greatest commandment.

And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

    Deuteronomy 30:6.

    God bless.

What is Salvation? "Asked by Lala."

    "Answer"

    Salvation is life!

Salvation is a new creation in you performed by God.

Salvation is when "GOD TRANSFORM YOU" after you truly believing and trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ. You have been transformed from dead to life. we're not perfect but we are transformed.

Here's a few old testament scripture that gives a description of salvation and how it's performed.

Deuteronomy 30:6. And the LORD thy God will CIRCUMCISE thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live. "Here you see the lord cutting away filthy flesh from your heart."

vs. 8. " This is what God causes you to do after cutting away the "flesh".

"And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day."

    Jeremiah 24:7.

    Jeremiah 31:33-34.

    Jeremiah 32:38-40.

"I like vs 40! Eternal Security found in the old testament!

( And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me)

    Ezekiel 11:19.

Ezekiel 36:25. Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I CLEANSE YOU.

Ezekiel 36:26-27. "Salvation is a cleansing!"

Salvation is a transformation by Gods spirit in you, and that comes by way of Jesus.

    New Testament references.

    John 15:1-8.

    John 10:27-29.

    John 6:45.

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives [wisdom] to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

    COMMENT:

We do not need to be angry or go on a rampage. We do need to repent on behalf of ignorance as a nation. Intercede; stand in the gap. Ask the Lord to open all hearts of mercy to heal this curse. We can't fix it, but the Lord can. We only open the gate for the healing to begin. Mishael

Our great and gracious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ rewards as described in His Holy Word. Saints are entered into heaven because of their "faith" in the gospel of the Lord God Jesus Christ. Ephesians 2: 8-10.

The rewarding of the Saint is according to the work done in the name of the Lord.

1 Corinthians 3:11-15. If any works done is deemed to be "wood, hay, stubble" or the works performed did not praise the Lord, the works will be burned, and he will suffer loss. But here's the best part- v15b "but he himself shall be saved"

However the "reward" for the unsaved, lost, or dead is entirely different. As rightly stated by many on this forum, the "wages of sin is death." Romans 6:23. That is the key.

The lost or unsaved will appear at the great white throne to be "judged every man according to their works." Revelation 20:13b

"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." Revelation 20:15.

The Lord God is true and just in all His dealings with us.

The key to all of this is simply the Salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ. Even if we do not understand it, God does. He does not ask for our understanding; just our obedience and trust. God bless all on this forum. March 4, 2022

{Part 3} How can we know who is the Highest God?

We must consider the nature of God. We live in a 3 dimensional world with a time dimension. Did you know time is a physical property that can change based on certain factors? That would mean that God is above the very dimension of time. 2Peter3:8 What's my point? God is the only one who is able to truly extend beyond the reaches of time. Isaiah46:10 God knows the end from the beginning and knows the future perfectly not only because He can perfectly predict the outcome since He designed everything and knows every detail of everything, but because He can look past the dimension of time itself. If He is the Highest, then His own permission levels override all others therefore is able to create a future nobody can change. If you played dice with God, He would be able to perfectly predict the outcome every time, no matter how long you played.

Prophecy. This is the most overt way that God can authenticate that a message truly came from Him without miraculously appearing before people. Deuteronomy18:22 The Bible is full of prophecy, not only about our current time but also about many historical events that took place. There are a number of them you can use to convince a logically thinking person. Jeremiah25:11-12 states that Babylon will rule over Judah for 70 years before God makes it desolate forever. In 539 BC Babylon was permanently destroyed, as prophesied in Isaiah13:19. Babylon had been destroyed by Assyria but rose to power once again and destroyed it. This time however it was permanently destroyed, just as God said. Shortly after, the Jews who had been captive were released from their captivity as prophesied in Jeremiah 32:36-37.

One prophecy that may be of interest to believers is the summary of what Jesus did for us all the way back in Genesis, before Jesus was born. Look up " Genesis 5 geneology meaning." Every letter of the bible is there for a reason.

    Brother David:

Matthew 5:25 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not thy whole body cast into GEHENNA (translated hell).

When Jesus was on earth Gehenna was the dump ground for Jerusalem where all the trash, garbage and bodies of dead criminals was dumped. It was on fire to DESTROY. Worms were there eating the dead flesh. As long as there was new fuel being dumped there, the worms never died nor was the fire ever quenched. It's a city park now, the is no longer worms or a fire.

Jesus was using Gehenna as an analogy, not something literal. If Jesus meant for you to take it literally, why aren't you missing eyes, hands and feet, that you have cut off and plucked out, to stay out of HELL.

    Matthew 5:30

    Matthew 10:28

    Matthew 23:15

    Matthew 23:33

    Mark 9:43

    Mark 9:45

    Mark 9:47

    Luke 12:5

    Matthew 5:22

    Matthew 18:9

    James 3:6

All the verses have GEHENNA translated as HELL

Here are the scriptures in the Old testament that refer to Hinnom.

    Nehemiah 11:30

    Joshua 15:8

    Joshua 18:16

    2 Kings 23:10

    2 Chronicles 28:3

    2 Chronicles 33:6

    Jeremiah 7:31

    Jeremiah 7:32

    Jeremiah 19:2

    Jeremiah 19:6

    Jeremiah 32:35

None of the scriptures have anything to do with the CHRISTIAN HELL.
  • ASTROLOGY IS A DEATH SENTENCE FOR THOSE WHO PRACTISE - In Reply on Jeremiah 32 - 2 years ago
    Astrology

Your word Zodiac is not in the KJV BIBLE. However the study of Zodiac is Astrology. It is a religion; NOT a science. The penalty for practicing and misleading others, is DEATH.

Daniel 2:10 | View whole chapter

The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king's matter: therefore there is no king, lord, nor ruler, that asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean.

"( Dan. 1:20; 2:2, 10, 27, etc.) Heb. ashshaph', an enchanter," one who professes to divine future events by the appearance of the stars. This science flourished among the CHALDEANS. It was positively forbidden to the Jews ( Deut. 4:19; 18:10; Isa. 47:13).

    Isaiah 47

11 Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it riseth: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know.

12 Stand now with thine enchantments, and with the multitude of thy sorceries, wherein thou hast laboured from thy youth; if so be thou shalt be able to profit, if so be thou mayest prevail.

13 Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the ASTROLOGERS, the STARGAZERS, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee.

14 Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it.

The book of Enoch is all about the Chaldeans. Worshippers of dark arts and are an abomination to a Holy God! So do a search of all the scriptures on the word CHALDEAN, in the KJV BIBLE. Use the SEARCH BOX engine on this website.

I WAS an astrologer. I was saved on Yom Kippur, 1985. I had to fight demons as a baby Christian. Run from this! Jesus is your only hope to live.

I need to re-read this chapter.

King of Zedekiah asking Jeremiah in prison, why do you speak against us about Babylon taking us captive?

Jeremiah responds, "Let me tell you a story of me buying my cousin's house which has nothing to do with your question" lol.

Again, I need to re-read this chapter.
