You put the emphasis on "keep" or to "guard against." (Also Strongs).

Some say we are to be brought through the tribulation for a time of testing. or persecution. If we're protected against it and kept in it.
How are we tested?
This temptation shall come upon "ALL THE WORLD", to try them that (DWELL) upon the earth.
Throughout scripture Gods people is not identified as earth dwellers.
You see this often in the OT those who dwell in the land as the opposition.
In Daniel 7:25 it says the Antichrist shall wear out the saints during this period. That's not the Church if we consider Revelation 3:10 as you see it.
Here's a unique picture of what might be a picture of the Rapture in the OT.

So that is very important because that's a prophecy that the Jews looked for. It says He is going to gather them together, (his elect), that would be the Jews, from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other, north, south, east, and west.
This is my understanding of this section of Matthew.
Matthew 24:29 Immediately after ----it's been 2000 years, that's not immediately after --- the tribulation of those days ---it's Christ's tribulation, leading up to his death on the cross, that he is speaking about ----shall the sun be darkened, Matthew 27:45 ---he is quoting Joel 2:31 and Revelation 6:12 a prophecy about Christ death on the cross ---and the moon (symbolising Christ) shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven ---- Revelation 12:4 ---and the powers of heaven shall be shaken ----all this description is a parable Matthew 13:34. Christ's words are most often HIDDEN in parables and symbols.
Matthew 24:30 Then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven ---this is still symbolic and a parable ---heaven is symbolic of man, where GOD DWELLS, Colossians 2:27 ...Christ in you .... John 3:13 ... he which is in heaven ....

You are correct, there is no scriptures that says there is not a rapture; but there is scripture that says that rapture is not COLLECTIVE; but, ONE by ONE.

Brother S Spencer, in your studies, would you please, find the Hebrew word that has been translated to the word Lucifer and see how it is defined in other scriptures. Man's belief that Lucifer was perfect contradicts other scriptures. If this is the only place that word is translated Lucifer? If it has another meaning, then maybe Lucifer was not perfect.

I would like to share with you my understanding of Matthew Chapter 24. Matthew Chapters 24 and 25 deal with the end-time prophecies. There are four sections in Chapter 24 that represent the 70th week of Daniel.
Section 1: "The Pains of Birth" Verses 4-14. Section 2: Matthew 24:15 is "The Pivotal Point." Section 3: Matthew 24:16-28, "The Perils of Tribulation." And then fourthly, Verses 29 to 31 is "The Promise of His Coming," given to us in Isaiah 13:10 and 34:4, Joel 2:10 and 3:15, 7:13, Isaiah 27:13, and Zechariah 12:10.
Beginning at verse 3 of Chapter 24, the disciples are looking for answers as to when these things are going to happen. Jesus then begins answering, and from Verses 4-14, He gives the details of the first 3-1/2 years of the tribulation, known as the pains of birth. In Verse 15, we have the pivotal point, the abomination of desolation.
Then in Verse 16, we see that Jesus is talking to Jewish believers. Actually, I believe the entire Chapter is given to Jewish believers. But Jesus tells them to flee. Verses 16 to 28 talk about the perils of tribulation, the last 3-1/2 years of the 7 year Tribulation period. It's going to be a very severe time.
Verse 22 is showing us that if God did not have a time period when He says okay I am going to stop, everybody would be wiped out.
But for the sake of the elect, a special word brought over from the O.T. as a title for the Jewish people. They are His elect people. It doesn't mean they are all saved but they are His chosen people. He realizes there are 144,000 of them out there, plus all the others who believed, and this is something that is going to happen in the last part of the tribulation period.
Verses 29-31, we have the promise of His coming. I recently shared the actual 7 Steps of a Jewish Wedding. If we understand those 7 steps, it helps to understand the coming of Christ and some of the Jewish views about when Christ is coming back. Those steps are fascinating!

Leviathan was the name of the devil when he was an Angel with God in heaven. This Creature is also described in Isaiah 27:1-4,5. He is a Huge Dragon or snake for clarity. He resides in the Sea but I doubt it can be seen with the naked eyes as his form is also spiritual. He is dreadful to look at and is by far the biggest anaconda-like image you could ever imagine. It was known to the writer of Ecclesiastes how this world had ended in the first timeline. In Ecclesiastes Chapter 12, it illustrates the time of trouble when the sun, moon, and stars will be veiled by the violent ejection of dust and thick smoke from a huge caldera (see Ecclesiastes 12:2 and Revelation 6:12; 9:2). A great star (comet of Revelation 8:10; 9:1) is likened to an eagle (see Ecclesiastes 12:4; Isaiah 46:11). When the ravenous bird (comet) enters Earth’s atmosphere, it causes a great sound of thunder. However, the written prophecies in the Old Testament, which are to be fulfilled in our day, are written as if they could have happened during events that took place in each prophet’s generation.
With this in mind when reading the Old Testament prophecies, take into consideration that the past types are mixed-in with future, yet to be fulfilled, prophecies (see Job 14:12, 13; Psalm 18:7-9; Ecclesiastes 12:2-5; Isaiah 24:17-23; Jeremiah 4:23-28; Ezekiel 32:7, 8; Joel 2:1, 30-32; Amos 5:16-18; Micah 3:6; Nahum 1:3-6; Habakkuk 3:3-16; Zephaniah 1:14-18; Haggai 2:6; Zechariah 14:3, 4, 12; Malachi 4:1; Revelation 19:11, 20).
The word says you and I died on the cross with Christ, Did you PHYSICALLY see your death happen?

You put the emphasis on "keep" or to "guard against." (Also Strongs).

Some say we are to be brought through the tribulation for a time of testing. or persecution. If we're protected against it and kept in it.
How are we tested?
This temptation shall come upon "ALL THE WORLD", to try them that (DWELL) upon the earth.
Throughout scripture Gods people is not identified as earth dwellers.
You see this often in the OT those who dwell in the land as the opposition.
In Daniel 7:25 it says the Antichrist shall wear out the saints during this period. That's not the Church if we consider Revelation 3:10 as you see it.

In Acts 1:10-11, when the Lord ascended up into Heaven, the angel said why do you disciples look up into heaven? Why are you gazing up there? This same Jesus will come in like manner. He will come in the clouds. The actual event recorded is in Revelation 19:11-16, the second coming of Christ. He comes with power and great glory. Revelation 24:31 tells us that when He does come, He shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet.
I am going to get technical for a moment, just to show how good this passage really is. He is going to send His angels out with a great sound of a Shofar. It's a ram's horn. In the Greek text, the word "sound" is in brackets, which means it has been added to the text by some unseen person who doesn't understand the fact that the word "great" modifies the trumpet. It is called a great Shofar. The prophecy is in Isaiah 27:12-13. It says the great Shofar will blow, and the Lord will gather His people from the four corners of the earth.
So that is very important because that's a prophecy that the Jews looked for. It says He is going to gather them together, (his elect), that would be the Jews, from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other, north, south, east, and west.
This is my understanding of this section of Matthew.

Christ's words are most often HIDDEN in parables and symbols.

To GIVE BIRTH, to the new creation, created in the likeness of Christ, you must go through BIRTH PAINS; tribulation.

I would like to share with you my understanding of Matthew Chapter 24. Matthew Chapters 24 and 25 deal with the end-time prophecies. There are four sections in Chapter 24 that represent the 70th week of Daniel.
Section 1: "The Pains of Birth" Verses 4-14. Section 2: Matthew 24:15 is "The Pivotal Point." Section 3: Matthew 24:16-28, "The Perils of Tribulation." And then fourthly, Verses 29 to 31 is "The Promise of His Coming," given to us in Isaiah 13:10 and 34:4, Joel 2:10 and 3:15, 7:13, Isaiah 27:13, and Zechariah 12:10.
Beginning at verse 3 of Chapter 24, the disciples are looking for answers as to when these things are going to happen. Jesus then begins answering, and from Verses 4-14, He gives the details of the first 3-1/2 years of the tribulation, known as the pains of birth. In Verse 15, we have the pivotal point, the abomination of desolation.
Then in Verse 16, we see that Jesus is talking to Jewish believers. Actually, I believe the entire Chapter is given to Jewish believers. But Jesus tells them to flee. Verses 16 to 28 talk about the perils of tribulation, the last 3-1/2 years of the 7 year Tribulation period. It's going to be a very severe time.
Verse 22 is showing us that if God did not have a time period when He says okay I am going to stop, everybody would be wiped out.
But for the sake of the elect, a special word brought over from the O.T. as a title for the Jewish people. They are His elect people. It doesn't mean they are all saved but they are His chosen people. He realizes there are 144,000 of them out there, plus all the others who believed, and this is something that is going to happen in the last part of the tribulation period.
Verses 29-31, we have the promise of His coming. I recently shared the actual 7 Steps of a Jewish Wedding. If we understand those 7 steps, it helps to understand the coming of Christ and some of the Jewish views about when Christ is coming back. Those steps are fascinating!
11:15). The voice heralds the time of the latter-day literal and figurative resurrection for the latter-day righteous who believed this new doctrine (see Ecclesiastes 12:4; Daniel 12:1; Hosea 6:2; Revelation 11:11-13).
Isaiah was also told how our world will end. In Isaiah 13:6, it states that the day of the Lord (who personifies a comet) is at hand. At that time, the light of the sun, moon, and stars will be veiled when dust and smoke explode from a huge volcano’s crater (see Isaiah 13:10). These prophecies were written over two thousand years ago. God’s written word is able to declare what is going to take place in the last generation because God (personifying each scroll that records and plays over each generation) has seen the end already take place in the first timeline (see Isaiah 46:10). The same catastrophic event of a great star’s (personified as the return of God) impact – which causes an immense volcano to explode and release dust, smoke, hot ash, and then lava – is written in the writings of the prophets. However, the written prophecies in the Old Testament, which are to be fulfilled in our day, are written as if they could have happened during events that took place in each prophet’s generation.
With this in mind when reading the Old Testament prophecies, take into consideration that the past types are mixed-in with future, yet to be fulfilled, prophecies (see Job 14:12, 13; Psalm 18:7-9; Ecclesiastes 12:2-5; Isaiah 24:17-23; Jeremiah 4:23-28; Ezekiel 32:7, 8; Joel 2:1, 30-32; Amos 5:16-18; Micah 3:6; Nahum 1:3-6; Habakkuk 3:3-16; Zephaniah 1:14-18; Haggai 2:6; Zechariah 14:3, 4, 12; Malachi 4:1; Revelation 19:11, 20).
