Yes, Paul said to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. That is why I said that when our physical body dies, our spirit departs to go be with the Lord. That's what it means to be absent from the body. It is our spirit that will be absent.
Now, the body we now live in is a corruptible body. One day when Christ comes, He will raise our body as an incorruptible body, a perfect body incapable of sin, sickness or death. It is then that our spirit will reunite with our new glorified raised body.
1 Corinthians 15:53 says "For this corruptible must put on incorruption." Why? Because we cannot get into the kingdom of heaven with flesh and blood. This mortal, which means death, must put on immortality.
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. ( 1 Corinthians 15:54) That is from Isaiah 25:8.
I will state that the Egyptians were spoiled; but sadly all the gold earrings were used with the golden calf before proper worship began and the tabernacle was built. Later on; of course the whole temple was built. All of these things of course are patterned after heaven; where it will be in the "sides of the north". That could be the part of the sky where heaven is located; and/or in heaven itself where God's throne is located.
There are some interesting concepts with Melchizedek and the fact that somehow true worship wasn't limited to those who were to be the descendants of Abraham; that is in the bloodline of the Jewish nation. This shows; when we study the origin of nations that indeed before pagan worship there was true worship at least in some places AFTER the flood. We can see something to the effect that the boundaries of the nations were divided as per the sons of Israel ( Deut 32:8).
I am going to say some very deep thoughts here. First off; we must consider carefully the image of the beast and his worship that will come. We must remember that Satan came from where he was walking in the midst of the stones of fire ( Ezekiel 28:14-16). The whole pattern; and ornate wealth will doubtless endow the Antichrist in the beginning of the Tribulation as the woman rides the beast in all her glory. (See Habukkuk 2:9-14; Daniel 11:39; Daniel 11:43). No doubt there will be an amalgamation of religions then of course later Antichrist destroys the woman for worship of himself. This shows why we should have no graven images of God. The mind of man cannot fathom these things; and sadly will fall for the man of sin in the Temple.
We shall indeed have things in heaven but also on earth to look forward to; restored and with Satan's influence at last restrained completely. Finally; the veil will be lifted off all nations ( Isaiah 25:7). I do believe in a Millennial Temple; although would think in eternity there will be no more death of animals.

Isaiah 26:3 what a promise! How often does the Lord encourage or even command us to trust in him? It seems there is a battle raging in me. But if I remember to keep myself stayed on him, like Peter was walking on the water and took his eyes off the Lord and began to sink. And he cried out to the Lord and the Lord gave Peter that perfect peace and lifted Peter from all his troubles.
God created great whales (Hebrew: tannyn). The "tanniyn" swallow as illustrated in Jer 51:34 where it shows the king of Babylon swallowing like a dragon (tanniyn).

What I think the passage does mention is God's Plan to eradicate corruption, when it says, "in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to decay". What I thought the passage said about the Angels is found in 1 Peter, but I was wrong about that too and I am glad you corrected me. The Bible does not say Angels will benefit from God's Plan of Redemption.
My argument, however, is that God's eternal Plan was for the annihilation of corruption, which includes death and evil. Isaiah 25:8 - He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.
I suppose my thinking was that because Angels were also created and were subject to corruption, the Plan included them. But that was a stretch. As you pointed out, there is no mention of that at all.
To imagine Old Testament Isaiah would be a foreshadowing of Jesus walking on earth is awesome. This prophet was sawed in half according to history. Such purity of mind and speech he even died agonized like Jesus. Fighting our dark adversaries, bathed in the hope of redemption, giving it all to God's ways and words. We must be Still and know that He is God. Jesus is the only Hope of the World. We are saved by his Grace coz He loves all of us and no one can separate us from the love of Jesus. I have been struggling with something that has become a problem to me. so I woke up this morning and the holy sprit said to me read Isaiah 25, the truth is I have never read that chapter before,I obeyed and after reading the chapter i can see everything clearing. I really got clarification on what was bothering.
This chapter was sent to me by someone to read. The person never had an idea of what i was passing thru at that moment. I just feel that God used that person to speak thru his WORD of PEACE to me. After reading this i said to my soul " remain calm and do not fear because God has something to give me ". Let all that call on the name of the lord keep reading this chapter.
I think it is referring to the spirit of religion that has veiled the whole world, to see the end of the law like 2 Corinthians 3 says happened to Moses and Israel.
The whole of Isaiah Chapter 25 is my best. when you are going through any challenge in life, just read Isaiah 25. It gives you courage, hope and your life will be rekindled.

This is one of my most favorite scriptures in the Bible. Not only that but this is a great scripture to comfort those who believe that death will always be. I can understand why many would feel this way but this scripture and others like 1 Corinthians 15:25, 26 and Revelations 21:4 to name a couple to a few more prove and offer hope that death will be a thing of the past. To back up what I'm speaking from Jehovah God's (his name according to Psalm 83:18) word ( 2 Timothy 3:16), Psalm 37:29, another one of my favorite scriptures, shows that the "righteous will possess the earth" and "reside forever upon it." (New World Translation Bible, other scriptures I quote will come from this but I strongly encourage all reading this to read this in your copy of the Bible) and John 5:28, 29 and Acts 24:15 talk about the resurrection hope and promises that you will see your dead loved ones again.
Isaiah 9:6 is such an encouraging verse not only does it show how much god loves us(mankind) that he would send his only begotton son (his first creation ever)
As a sacrifice for us(john3:16,colossians1:15) but it also gives us hope. A hope that we will actually have a government that achives peace lasting peace!
