Hi Charleston , I believe that the ressurected Christians who have been judged and found acceptable and the Christians who were alive when Christ returned and were judged by him as acceptable , will live and reign with him . There will also be humans that have survived the trials and tribulations of the last days . Others may and probably will disagree , as you read the Bible for yourself and you grow in understanding , you will make your own mind up based on what it actually says . Enjoy .

This Isaiah 11 KJV has been on my mind all morning long , I know this is prophetic of the 2 nd coming . All the animals are humanity and the Child that leads them is the H.G. That Child of PROMISE, That mountain he is leading them to is the Kingdom of God. Hebrews 12 : 22 you are come unto mount Sion the city of the living God,That heavenly Jerusalem ( the kIngdom of God ) . 27 times in the O.T. THE Prophets saw the world in travail and birth pains. i 'm just a messenger trying to tell ya there is a baby Christ in your near future . She brought forth a manchild that is gonna rule all nations . Unless ya receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child . Which is the H.G. the Child of PROMISE . When Isaiah saw the Kingdom coming he says unto us a Child is born unto us a Son is given. GBU

The way I heard the story of this, is Jesus removed it, folded it neatly and placed it to the side. As in a statement left for who entered His tomb the 3rd day.

That all was as he said it would be. It is Finished!

I do the same thing myself. When I have fixed a broken lamp or something. When I'm done I clean everything up and put my tools in a pile ready for the toolboxes.

Why are we not now - in the present, living out Isaiah 11:6-9? - Which tells us that the coming Kingdom will be free of harm. Isaiah 65:25, Hosea 2:18, Ezekiel 34:25, Romans 14:17.

Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away.

It seems to me there is absolutely no reason to slaughter any sentient beings other than to fill our stomachs with rotting flesh. This practice does not paint a picture of the peaceable kingdom in the garden of Eden. Animal husbandry is barbaric-inhumane-void of compassion.

"Compassion, in which all ethics must take root, can only attain its full breadth and depth if it embraces all living creatures and does not limit itself to mankind." Albert Schweitzer

"I believe in my heart that faith in Jesus Christ can and will lead us beyond an exclusive concern for the well being of other human beings to the broader concern for the well-being of the birds in our backyard, the fish in our rivers, and every living creature on the face of the earth." John Wesley, Christian Theologian.

"I am persuaded you are not insensible to the pain given to every Christian, every humane heart, by those savage diversions, bull-baiting, cock-fighting, horse-racing, and hunting." John Wesley

In Genesis 9:3 God gave Noah the permission to eat animal flesh. This was a concession to man's sinfulness. But when you look at the verse in it's context, it is clear that God is only grudgingly giving humans this permission. "Vegetarianism practiced in the Garden of Eden ( Gen. 1:29-30, 2:16), and the prophecy that natural predators will live together peacefully in the future (Is 11:6-8), suggest that the eating of animal flesh isn't God's ideal." The verse you speak of is Isaiah 11:6, and it does not say the Lion will lay down with the lamb.

Here is the history of the error:

The Hebrew text used the word "z-'" (wolf) as the animal dwelling with the lamb, so if one compares the most modern translations to the ancient Hebrew text, they are accurate. It is apparent that the commonly memorized phrase, "the lion shall lay down with the lamb" never existed in the Bible text. So how did this happen? How are so many people using a memorized "verse" that does not exist?"

The "lion shall lay down with the lamb" is a lyric made popular by the 1937 song, "Peace in the Valley" written by Thomas A. Dorsey for Mahalia Jackson. It was first made popular by Red Foley and the Sunshine Boys in 1951 after being recorded by Sam Cooke of the Soul Stirrers in 1950 and rising to limited success. But it wasn't until Elvis Presley recorded the song on his first Christmas Album with the Jordanaires that "Peace in the Valley" received worldwide fame.

This is a really catch for you. I remember that song from my childhood. I'm 70 :D Learn something new every day, right.

    ISAIAH 11

    6. The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

    7. And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

    Hello,

I just want to expand on your question/answers.

1st perspective: usually this question is asked after a loved animal dies.

If you just lost an animal that you loved, GOD knows our pain, suffering & sorrows.

    Isaiah 53:3, 1 Peter 5:7,

    Interesting scriptures about animals

    Numbers 22:28,30,

    Isaiah 11:4,6,7,8

    Genesis 9:5

    Hope

    1 Corinthians 2:9

    Hopefully these scriptures are encouraging.

Hi Glenn, I believe that Isaiah 11:6-10 speaks of the Millenium Kingdom of Christ on Earth. This is when Satan is locked away for 1,000 years (Revelation chapter 20), and he can no longer "deceive the nations" during this time. There will still be sinners (the nations) around, but not within the walls of Jerusalem where Christ the King sits & reigns ( Revelation 20:1-6) and the saved from the nations shall reign with Him.

It maybe at this time, with sin's force curtailed that the animal kingdom will also lose its fierceness (result of sin's corruption of all things), & the once ferocious animals will now co-habit with the more docile ones. But in Heaven, there is no Scripture to support the presence of animals in God's midst, apart from the heavenly beasts & beings. One's wishful thinking cannot add to what is already revealed to us.

This morning i read ISAIAH 11, KJV and i was so touched by this scripture, I see all the Animals as symbolic language for Humanity and the lil Child that leads them as the H.G. The Child of Promise The Spirit of truth Jesus said was gonna lead the world ( reprove the world of sin and judgement and righteousness etc) Knowledge shall cover the earth as the waters cover the seas , they shall not hurt nor destroy in all my Holy Mountain, And the lord will set his hand a 2 nd time to recover his ppl etc.I know its all symbolic language but it made my Spirit come alive. She brought forth a man child that is gonna rule all nations no doubt this is the same Child the H.G. That we so need to lead us.

Brother Sonny, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

Most people are taught by the traditions of man, very few study themselves and let the Spirit reveal the truth to them.

Romans 8:20 For the CREATURE (CREATION) was made SUBJECT TO VANITY (evil), not WILLINGLY, but by REASON of him who hath SUBJECTED the same (creation) in HOPE. (Becoming ONE with their CREATOR).

Ponder on the tree of KNOWLEDGE of good and evil.

That knowledge exist TOGETHER, you can't have the KNOWLEDGE of good without also having the KNOWLEDGE of evil.

After partaking of this KNOWLEDGE of good and evil, God said, behold they (creation) have become like one of us to KNOW good and evil.

This KNOWLEDGE is necessary to become LIKE GOD.

John 17:21 That they (creation) ALL may BE ONE; as thou Father, art ONE IN ME, and I IN THEE, that thou also may be ONE IN US: that the world MAY BELIEVE that thou has SENT ME.

    Colossians 1:27 ... this mystery....CHRIST IN YOU.....

Revelation 4:5 And out of the throne (you are the throne of CHRIST)( Revelation 20:4) proceeded lighting, and thunder and voices: BURNING ( Isaiah 4:4) before the throne (you are the throne of CHRIST)( Revelation 20:4), which (lighting, thunder, voices) ARE the SEVEN Spirits of God (now in you).

Isaiah 11:2 And the (first is the) SPIRIT of the LORD (Father) shall rest upon him (Christ (in you)), the (second) spirit of WISDOM, and (the third spirit of) UNDERSTANDING, the (forth) spirit of COUNSEL and (the fifth spirit of) MIGHT, the (sixth) spirit of KNOWLEDGE and (the seventh spirit) of the FEAR of the Lord.

When we no longer have to SUFFER IN THE FLESH we will BE ONE WITH THE FATHER AND SON.

Basic Distinctions between Prophecy and the Mystery (C.R. Stam) - continued:

    8) Prophecy mainly concerns nations as such ( Isaiah 2:4; Ezekiel 37:21-22)

Rightly Divided ( 2 Timothy 2:15) From "Things That DIFFER!":

    8) The Mystery Concerns individuals ( Romans 10:12-13; 2 Corinthians 5:14-17)

    9) Prophecy concerns blessings, both material and spiritual, on earth ( Isaiah 2:3-4; Isaiah 11:1-9; etc.)

    RDf

    9) The Mystery Concerns "all spiritual blessings in The Heavenlies" ( Ephesians 1:3; Colossians 3:1-3)

    10) Prophecy concerns Christ's Coming to the earth ( Isaiah 59:20; Zechariah 14:4)

    RDf

    10) The Mystery Explains Christ's absence from the earth ( Ephesians 1:20-24; Colossians 3:1-3)

    11) In prophecy, salvation by Grace through faith alone is not contemplated ( Matthew 28:19-20; Matthew 23:1-3; Luke 7:29-30; Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; James 2:17)

    RDf

    11) Salvation "By GRACE Through faith" Alone lies at The Very Heart Of The Mystery! ( Romans 3:21-26; Romans 4:5; Ephesians 2:8-9)

    12) The proclamation of the prophetic program committed particularly to the twelve ( Matthew 10:5-7; Acts 1:6-8; Acts 3:19-26)

    RDf

    12) The proclamation of The Mystery program committed particularly to Paul ( Ephesians 3:1-3; Ephesians 3:8-9; Colossians 1:24-27)

    13) The prophetic program revealed through many of God's servants Luke 1:70; 2 Peter 1:21)

    RDf

    13) The Mystery revealed through one man: Paul! ( Galatians 1:1; Galatians 1:11-12; Galatians 2:2; Galatians 2:7; Galatians 2:9; Ephesians 3:2-3)

    14) Old Testament writers frequently did not understand the prophecies made through them ( Daniel 12:8-10; 1 Peter 1:10-12)

    RDf

    14) Paul Both understood And longed that others might understand The Mystery revealed through him ( Ephesians 1:15-23; Ephesians 3:14-21; Colossians 1:9-10; Colossians 2:1-3)

GM Chris GBU But you are leaving out Exodus 3 : 15 God is telling Moses His name is Abraham Issac and Jacob and that is my Name Forever and Memorial to all Generations ,Why wd God tell Moses that is name is Abraham, Isaac and Jacob simply b/c these 3 men are a Posterity of the nation of Israel ,A type of the kingdom of God the very kingdom of God, The very fact that we have a Father and Son begs the Question of a Granson and an Israel of GOD. Without this Abraham Issac and Jacob ,Father, Son and Granson scenario there cannot be an Israel of God. Its Gods Memorial to ALL Generation , Even the Davidic Kingdom was Father, Son and Granson and Our Lord indentifies with this Davidic Kingdom saying I AM THE ROOT AND THE OFFSPRING OF DAVID THE BRIGHT and the Morning star.( His memorial ) Isaiah describes the Davidic Kingdom as Jesse , David and and Solomon. Father Son and Granson in Isaiah 11: 1.Meaning there is gonna be heavenly Granson which is the H.G. th Son that comes out of Christ loins ( his seed the word) When he breathe on them that was his word which is his seed ,they were impregnated with his seed the word .Thats y Jesus tells them b/c i have spoken these words sorrows have filled your hearts a spritual pregnancy. The Child of Promise which is the H.G. was not born till Pentacost some 50 days later. Chris remember God wd NOT let David the son build the Temple, God wd only let Solomon the Granson, that son that came out of Davids loins build the temple . It means that the Granson which is the seed ,the word that Christ sows in our hearts is gonna build the temple in our hearts. He is truly the multiplication of God Almighty ,Its our bodies that is gonna be the Temple of the H.G. the Granson IS THE H.G. Simple b/c Christ is the one who IS GONNA sows that seed thus he is the father of the H.G. Just like Abraham,Issac n Jacob Father ,son and Granson. his Name for ever and my memorial to all generations. k

We're not to forsake assembling together. That's because corporate prayer (everyone praying and praising together) is so powerful spiritually.

I listen to ministry programs on FM Radio, every day. Some preachers are elderly and others are younger. I enjoy their messages! Radio is listener supported, so if the radio signals are weak or stolen by "pirates", just report it to the FCC online by email.

A Pastor/Evangelist, Greg Laurie has good rapport with young people. He's close to my age and we both share being street ministers in the early 80's. He was in California, and I was in Roswell, the alien capital of the USA, LOL. Very very good memories! He'll be on cable soon.

I learned, when I moved to Tulsa OK, to appreciate all people in ministry and Not Judge. I heard that from the Holy Spirit with my ears. :O I got cured big time that day.

ASK THE HOLY SPIRIT TO TEACH YOU

    John 16:7-8

7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter (Teacher) will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

Isaiah 11:2 (speaking of Jesus & the Holy Spirit)

    And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear (reverence;honor) of the LORD;

1 Corinthians 2:13 Which things also we speak, NOT in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, BUT which the Holy Ghost teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

It takes some relationship to study and hear the Holy Spirit teach it, to your spirit. He knows what you need: milk, bread or meat. A quiet room works best.

He co-created this world, and Jesus went to the Cross to send the Holy Spirit to us. (Pentecost)

He is the Spirit of Christ. Ask HIM which Church He wants you to be in. Seek Him first.

    Hey Robert,

Great questions and they are not irrelevant. Asking is good, it is the motive that may not be good. Many questions asked by the scribes and Pharisees were to try and trap Jesus and not to learn the truth.

Those who died before Jesus' death on the cross, were saved because of their faith in the coming messiah. Romans 4: 3-5, Genesis 3:15, Isaiah 11: 1-3. We look back to the cross, those before us looked forward to the cross.

Those who believe in the Messiah, the Christ will be at the Bema Seat of Christ, 1 Corinthians 3:11-16, Acts 4:10-12

God has always had a way for people of all ages to be saved. Ps 19; Luke 16:27-31

Hi Babatope. No. Ezekiel was a contemporary of the prophet Jeremiah. He was taken with the other hostages into captivity in Babylon & his ministry was to those with him in captivity. Jeremiah in the meanwhile, ministered to the Jews in Palestine.

So Ezekiel was around approximately 400 years after King David took the throne. Therefore Ezekiel 37:24's reference to "David my servant" can only apply to the One who would come after David, in the same family line as David, & would eventually fulfill the rest of that Scripture: "(he) shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them."

As King David came through the line of Judah, so would the coming King be of that lineage & will not only be King, but also the "Great Shepherd of the sheep", both to the houses of Judah, Israel & also the Gentiles who are saved. And Isaiah 11:1-5 and Jeremiah 23:5,6 speak of this coming One out of Jesse & David - and His Name of course, is Jesus.

Ann, may the Spirit grace you with HIS wisdom and His understanding.

Isaiah 11:1-5 Is a prophecy about Christ. Verse 2 is the prophecy of the seven spirits being poured out on Christ. This happened at Christ baptism of John. This is also the prophecy spoken of in

Revelation 4:5 .....which are the seven Spirits of God.

    Isaiah 11:2 And the

    (1) spirit of the Lord (Father)

    (2) the spirit of wisdom

    (3) the spirit of understanding

    (4) the spirit of counsel

    (5) the spirit of might

    (6) the spirit of knowledge

    (7) the spirit of the fear of the Lord (Father)

Isaiah 11:1,2: "And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD".

You probably know that this chapter is the prophecy from Isaiah about the coming Christ Jesus. Jesus, in His Humanity, takes His descendancy back to King David, to David's father, Jesse & all the way back to Adam. So, Isaiah sees this aspect of the Messiah, the Branch coming out of David's tree. Verse 2 onwards gives us a description of what Isaiah saw concerning Him: the God's Spirit would be upon Him (for His Holiness & Power in Ministry); Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel & Might would be also be the hallmarks of Messiah (& we know how well he spoke to all people, understanding the core of their needs & in wisdom & authority refuted the most intellectual of them); & holding God in continual awe & reverence. Verses 4 & 5 also speak of His acts of Righteousness.

As an addition to the above, we might think that Isaiah only saw the Messiah as a Man sent from God, as many even today believe him to be (i.e. the Son of God only but not God the Son). But Isaiah did see the Messiah as God coming in the flesh ( Isaiah 9:6,7 (His Name will be called The Mighty God & the Everlasting Father); 7:14 (where Immanuel means 'God is with us'); & 40:3, where John the Baptist would cry out, "Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for OUR GOD"). I hope this helps you in understanding this very important prophetical Book.

My belief is that Mary, by the grace of God, supplied the ovum necessary for the Word to become flesh. Else he would have not truly been the Son of Man, but another life form.

According to scripture, Jesus Christ would be the seed of the woman, the root of Jesse, the seed of Abraham, made like unto his brethren, the root and offspring of David.

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. ( Genesis 3:15)

Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. ( Isaiah 7:14)

And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious. ( Isaiah 11:10)

For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. ( Hebrews 2:16-17)

I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. ( Revelation 22:16)

My God is Strong. My God is my Great Love of my Life. He walks with me. He talks to me. I feel His Light close to me. Always leading me to see everything through His eyes. Always opposite what the world seems to be. Day to Day l give my Life to Him. Never the evilness of mankind. For if l walked the world's way of Me Myself and l, l would never be able to finish what my God wants me to do. Look around at the suffering. They have nothing. But they have a God they can go to. And so they go day to day staying in His Grace. So in these days when God is close to coming, choose what side you will be on. Take it from me. I lived the world. Met God in an after death. Know He is real and very Loving to His people who keep the Faith!!!

    Hello Mike,

Hopefully I can help with a couple of your questions. The KJV is the best, oldest, version of the Bible we have. One thing that is quiet awesome of this site is when you look in the 1611 KJV section. They have every single page photographed, and posted here, of an original 1611 KJV Bible. Very cool. Many of the newer versions have had things removed and words changed. As the KJV is the oldest English Bible. So with just a couple of the verses you have. In Luke 19:23 the word they made "bank" was the original Greek word "trapeza" transliterated from Greek. This word means "a table or stool" or "a table or stand of a money changer to count money". The word is used thirteen times, in the New Testament, for "table" and just once for "bank". Seems ok instead of saying maybe "my money onto the money changers table". The other one is Isaiah 11:6. It has always been "wolf also shall dwell with the lamb". As you have "the young lion and the fatling together" in the same verse. Along with "the lion shall eat straw like the ox" in the next verse. The lion and the lamb thing was actually started in a song way back and got popular. Spreading but it was always "wolf also shall dwell with the lamb".

Hope that helps some. God Bless.

Thank you for your reply. The reason I ask is that in mark 2:22 says no one puts new wine in old bottles wasn't always wine skins? Also in luke 19:23 uses the word bank "Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury" Did they have banks when they translated 1611 kjv? Also in Isaiah 11:6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, wasn't it always "the lion shall down with the lamb? And the our father prayer in Luke 11:2, now says "Our Father which art in heaven" wasn't it always "our father WHO art in heaven"? I have many more discrepancies.
