Anonymous...Alex...Plz note the woman does not go into birth pains till the book is opened...And thats when they sang that New Song...( the New Covenant a birthing covenant that he wrote with his own blood.. we ALL must be bornagain of an incorruptible seed..via the words of the book in the fathers right hand...The woman has faith simply b/c she is with Child of the seed of Jesus the contents of the book...The woman is the world as Jesus said the field is the world where that the good seed will be sown... Jeremiah 30:6 Jeremiah saw ALL men in travail and birth pains.

.....The Woman has the substance of things hoped for ( the Kingdom ) The evidence of things not seen ( the Children of Promise ) ...Remember the great promise Christ has to be multiplied as the stars of heaven...thus all men in travail and birth pains...Thus Faith is truly a spiritual pregnancy preceding a spiritual birth of Christ in us...The Son of Man...Man kinds fruit unto God as in Romans 7 :4...WE must be married to Christ and bring forth fruit unto God which is the Child of Promise the H.G.

......Remember Isaiah 11:9...Isaiah saw an intimacy a Knowledge covering the earth as the waters covering the seas...Thus all men are gona travail in birth pains...Which is the very same as Jeremiah 31:34 Gods new Covenant i will KNOW THEM ALL FROM THE LEAST TO THE GREATEST...This Know them all is an intimacy with God that is gonna result in a heavenly Birth...But b/f the birth takes place the only thing we have is Faith the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen....the Child of PROMISE...The H.G. is the Child of PROMISE...When Jesus said behold i send the Promise of my Father upon you it was baptism of the H.G...Via his words which are his seeds..Thats y he mentions the babes and sucklings...our new hearts and spirits...ok lemme go

Unless ya receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child you will in no wise enter there in...The words of our Lord.

In Isaiah 11:2 Spirit of wisdom, Spirit of the Lord, Spirit of understanding, Spirit of counsel and might, Spirit of knowledge, and the fear of the Lord.

Leviticus 23, goodly branch = large, considerable, pleasing in appearance

interestingly you have symbolism here also

    Branch : Zechariah 3:8, Isaiah 11:1, John 15, Jeremiah 33:15,

    Prophetic : John 12, notice John 12:1, John 12:13,16, Hebrews 10, Colossians 2:16-17,

    HI Ducan.

I agree the apostacy has already started.

However when Christ comes the second time he will come in judgement, He didn't come as the Holyghost as some suggest.

    Matthew 24:15. hasn't happened yet.

"When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

    Neither has Matthew 24:27-31.

For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. "The elect here I believe is Israel" Isaiah 45:4. Isaiah 11:12. Jeremiah 23:3. Psalms 107:2-3.

The Holyspirit was always in the world, but believers weren't baptized by the spirit until AFTER Christ was risen from the dead.

But the second coming of Christ reads like this.

"But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only."

    Matthew 24:36-44.

There is some amongst us who believes there is no Hell and we all will be saved and become Gods!!

This is the climax of their theology.

There are believers that believe they also minister to creatures. Interestingly there are many events in Scripture that show obedience to GOD ALMIGHTY & even accountability. Starting with Genesis 9:5, Proverbs 12:10, 1Samuel 6:7-15, 1Kings 13, Numbers 22, Daniel 6, Isaiah 65:25, Isaiah 11:6-9,

    James 1:5-7,

Dickens you do greatly err...The Father and the son are 1 only in the Spiritline...The Father neva died, It was only the son that died so they are clearly 2 distinct beings...But the Son and the Father are 1 only in their relationship as Father and Son...Even in the natural we are 1 with our Fathers....We carry our Father's last name simply b/c we are 1 bloodine....Jesus carried the same spirit/Bloodline as his father...Remember the Father neva died....As Jesus said that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit...So Spirits can be born in us and are individual and have different names but they are all Sons of God...Thats y the bible speaks of an Israel of God which are spirits that are gonna be born in us...And are gonna be as the stars of heaven in multitudes....The very fact that God refers to himself as Father is indicative of multiplication of his spirit.... Joel 2:28 says that God is gona pour out of his spirit on all flesh...Thus everybody is gona get a Seed which is the LIVING WORD a measure of faith...The Father is only greater b/c he is the FATHER OF SPIRITS...The H.G. plural Spirits are the Gifts of God...They are all 3 related as FATHER SON AND GRANSON...Just like ABRAHAM ISSAC AND JACOB WERE FATHER SON AND GRANSON...That were mutiplied as the sands of the seas...God wd NOT have told Moses that his Name was Abraham Issac and Jacob if the Godhead was not a Trinity...God tells Moses that is my Name and my memorial forever to all Generations..Thus there has to be an Israel OF God.

.....In Isaiah 11:1 Which was approx. 250 yrs after Jesse David and Solomon had all died...Isaiah is using these 3 men as symbolic of a kingdom coming in the last days... Isaiah 11:11 is saying that this Jesse David and Solomon is coming again a 2 nd time which is symbolic of the Father Son and H.G. Which is Father Son and Granson...Thats y Jesus is saying he is the root and the offspring of DAVID...Impling the Davidic Kingdom was a type of the heavenly Kingdom..Father Son and Granson.

Isaiah 11...Tells us about a knowledge that is gonna cover this earth as the waters cover the seas...In Isaiah 11:9....This Knowledge is an intimacy that is gonna result in a birth of Christ in us....Thats y Jesus was so solid on knowing us....He has to know us thats when the good seed is sown in our hearts...The words of that New Covenant are the good seeds....Thats y Jesus said the good seed are the words of God...impling Gods New Covenant...Thats y he has to know us....And this knowledge an (intimacy) that is gonna cover the earth as the waters cover the seas....Thats y Jeremiah saw all the world in travail and birth pains... Jeremiah 30:6....We are all gonna birth a baby Christ which is the H.G. that spirit of truth...Thats y he always refers to himself as the Son of man....Mankind has to bring forth fruit unto God... Romans 7:4 which is the HG. That Child of PROMISE...

.....Whosoever receiveth one such Child in my name receiveth me.... Rev 12 :5 She brought forth a man child that is gonna rule all nations...The Child is Spirit the H.G. ...the multiplication of Christ...That was the great Promise that Christ Jesus wd be multiplied as the stars of heaven...Thats y we refer to the H.G as the Child of Promise...he is the multiplication of Christ Jesus via his seed his breathe his words that are spirit and life....Unless you receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child you will in no wise enter there in....Plz note the kingdom of God does not come till the woman the world births the Manchild the H.G that Child of Promise REV.12:10...OK Lemme go....let me just add this 27 times in the O.T. the Prophets saw the world in travail and birth pains...ok...The world the woman is gonna be saved in child birth....The CHILD being the H.G.

This Psalm has many in depth descriptions of judgment including the final judgment of man.

I would call it more of a "declaratory" Psalm rather than "impreccatory" as it is more of a cause and effect statement of man's state of reaping what they sow. There seems to be no specific enemy of David that is being referred to here.

Verses 3 and 4 remind us of Psalm 23 where "in the presence of my enemies" a table is set before God ( Psalm 23:5). This verse is often lost; it seems in the theme of reassurance that people like to glean here (perhaps an uncomfortable verse for those who don't like to see this side of God's character).

Verses 5 and 6 remind us of Armageddon; as well as other verses such as Isaiah 14:17 on Antichrist. Verses 7 through 12 describe the justice of God's rule such as will be during the Millennium ( Isaiah 11:4). Verse 13 and 14 could also apply in some ways to Christ's suffering to death under His enemies and His return to the eastern gates ( Psalm 24:7); or perhaps the state David felt in constantly facing the threat (but never the actuality) of his enemies killing him.

Verses 15-17 are like many other cross references as well; with the first mention in Psalms of hell (v. 17). It is interesting to note that those nations who "forget God" are also included with the wicked unregenerate in particular. That indites places like the USA who have familiarity with the Gospel but not a "love of the truth." ( 2 Thess. 2:9-12).

The end (verse 18-20) once again show the nations fearing God and the needy "not always forgotten." That surely would indicate a state in the Millennium as even Christ said "the poor you always have with you." ( Matt. 26:11). Even in that verse; Christ takes precedence over all things; as He is the one to overcome and Lord of all. (see again Isaiah 11:4 and many other passages in that book for further insight).

Hello Aljenon....In Isaiah 11 :1 ...Also the Davidic Kingdom was Jesse David and Solomon....They were all 3 related as Father Son and Granson.... Isaiah 11 :1....And Isaiah uses these 3 men as symbolic language for a Kingdom that is coming the last day when God will gather the remnant of his ppl... Isaiah 11:11....The rod that came out of Jesse was David the son and the branch that came out of David was Solomon the Granson....And God wd not let David the son build that great temple...God wd only allow Solomon the Granson to build the temple..... Isaiah is using this Father Son and Granson scenario to describe a kingdom coming in the last days that is gona judge this whole world in righteousness....And Jesus identifies with this Jesse David and Solomon Kingdom saying i am the root and the offspring of David...The bright and the morning star.. Rev 22:16 kjv

......And this Isaiah 11 was written approx. 250 yrs after that Jesse,..David and Solomon had long died....But Isaiah is still using these 3 men as symbolic language for a kingdom coming the last days....And this was a Father Son and Granson type of Kingdom coming in the last days.... Isaiah 11:11 kjv....Thus an Israel of God wd have to follow soon.

..... Isaiah 11:1...There shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse which was David the son and a branch shall come out of his roots which was Solomon the Granson...ok lemme go

    Hi Gigi.

    Part 4.

In Revelation 19:17-21 you see the parallel verse " Where the eagles gather as mentioned in

    Matthew 24:28.

No mention of the removal of saints. If the saints were raptured and everyone else cast into hell and this is the last day on earth as you presented Who's going to populate the Millennium?

In Revelation 20 you see the Millennium reign of Christ and the great white throne judgment.

Let's use Daniel 12:13 you provided to see who the elect is in these scriptures.

Daniel 12:1-2 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for THE CHILDREN OF THY PEOPLE: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time THY PEOPLE shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

    Who's Daniels people? Israel.

Who's gathered from the four corners of the earth? Israel.

    Isaiah 11:9-12.

    Ezekiel 34:11-14.

Daniel is not talking about the Church.

The tribulation will drive Israel to their Messiah.

Hosea 5:15. I will go and return to my place, TILL THEY ACKNOWLEDGE THEIR OFFENCE, AND SEEK MY FACE: IN THEIR AFFLICTION THEY WILL SEEK ME EARLY.

Matthew 23:37-39 (KJV) O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.

For I say unto you, YE SHALL NOT SEE ME HENCEFORTH, TILL YE SHALL SAY, BLESSED IS HE THAT COMETH IN THE NAME OF THE LORD.

This means when they behold him as a nation.

    God bless.

Hiya Marsha...Plz let me give ya this bit of information....When Moses was on the back side of the desert in Exodus 3:15....God tells Moses that his name was Abraham Issac and Jacob and my memorial to all Generations....And this was after that Abraham had already offered up his only son Issac and Moses knew this very well....But this speaks volumes of a Kingdom coming that wd be a Father Son and Grandson type of kingdom just like Abraham Issac and Jacob where the son wd be offered up resulting in the multiplication of that son that wd be as the stars of Heaven in multitude saving this whole world.

......I will multiply thy seed as the stars of Heaven in multitudes... Genesis 22:17....Thus an Israel of God fathered by a Trinity.

......If i be lifted up i will draw all men unto me....An Israel of God that cannot sin...Simply b/c they are born of God.

.....Thus Abraham Issac and Jacob are truly a picture of the Godhead as a Trinity....3 Distinct beings but the 1 singular FATHER of Israel....And they became as the sands of the seas in multitudes....Just like Jesus is gonna be multiplied as the stars of Heaven in multitudes....Thus the sower and his precious seed...The words of that New Covenant...The Book that he wrote with his own blood.

.......Marsha if you read Isaiah 11 :1 ....You will see Isaiah who lived approx. 200 yrs after Jesse David and Solomon had long Died....Is still using this Jesse, David and Solomon kingdom as a kingdom coming in the last days When God sets his hand a 2 nd time to recover the remnant of his ppl...In Isaiah 11:11 kjv....Isaiah was still using this Father Son and Granson language for a kingdom coming again the last day....That 2 nd coming ...God wd not let David the son build that great Temple....God wd only let Solomon the Granson build the temple....B/c Solomon is symbolic of the 3 rd person the H.G. THAT IS GONNA BUILD THE TEMPLE IN MANS HEARTS....A greater then Solomon is here Jesus said....I will give them a new heart and etc.

John 17, Please read whole chapter, Isaiah 11:1,2, John 3:16, Matthew 10:32,33,

    Ephesians 4:30, Luke 11:13, Ephesians 1:1-13, Ephesians 1:17-23, Matthew 24:35,36,

Thanks for your further comments, Paul.

To the 'two sticks being joined together', I can't offer any more on that, since I read the Ezekiel chapter differently to you & apply the meaning of the sticks to Israel & Judah, as the whole chapter is about people not books.

I wouldn't be able to comment whether certain people are from a particular tribe of Israel. Unless people can do a verifiable research to trace their ancestry to such a distant point, I generally leave off that discussion as I see it going nowhere and we end up with just opinions.

"Is the Bible gathering Israel?" By this I understand, is there a clear thread running through the Bible of Israel one day coming together & worshipping the LORD in Truth? There are several references to this: Jeremiah 31:31-34; Deuteronomy 30:1-6; Isaiah 41:8,9; Isaiah 11:10-12, are some of the Scriptures about the future re-gathering of Israel. There are of course, many references to Israel's other regatherings, i.e. from the captivities, etc.

Re: your belief in "both Bible & Mormon". Without even looking at the Book of Mormon (BOM) now, we just need to study the utterances of those men I mentioned previously, which should cause one to balk at the very nature of these men & the beliefs surrounding the LDS. If the Apostle Paul came out with an epistle speaking about the moon being inhabited by six foot men dressed like Quakers, I would look at Paul with great suspicion as also his other letters & probably wonder how much other falsehoods are found in the Bible. We can't isolate the BOM from what that church's leaders believed & taught, however ignorant they might have been of the truth. Just as today, both the preachers' words & the words of the Bible are weighed in together - and one or both might stand or fall as a result.

Steve Gbu.....The trinity is very simple....Its Father Son and Granson that is gonna become as the Stars of heaven in multitudes....If ya can understand Abraham Issac and Jacob.... Remember Abraham offered up his only son Issac.. who does that remind us of, God the Father that offered up his only son Jesus....That ram caught in the thicked by his horns was symbolic of Christ and his Crown of thorns....And out of Issac came Jacob and Esau....Outta of Christ came the Wheat the H.G. and the Tares came out of Satans seed....Remember Jacob was the Granson and outta of Jacob came the 12 tribes...The great nation of Israel....But now under this new covenant, its the H.G...The 3 rd person that is the Israel of God...That heavenly Jacob in Isaiah 48 kjv is a picture of Israel of God...The sun nor any kind of heat can lite on them simply b/c they are spirits...As Jesus said that which is born of the spirit is spirit...Thats the H.G. the Israel of God....God Almighty told Moses that his name was ABRAHAM ISSAC AND JACOB...Simply b/c the Godhead is a picture of Abraham Issac and Jacob....Just as Abraham was multiplied as the sands of the seas so Almighty God will be multiplied as the stars of heaven....Thats y the Sower of the good seed wants to sow his precious seed in our hearts...That he might be multiplied as the stars of heaven..Thats y Jesus refers to the H.G. as the Promise the multiplication of Jesus...His offspring an Israel of God...Thats y jesus is saying to whom the word came..(His seed ) it made them Gods and the scriptures cannot be broken..

.....And also the Davidic kingdom was Jesse, David and Solomon....Father, Son and Granson...In Isaiah 11:1 we read of a heavenly Kingdom coming in the last days....Isaiah describes it as a Jesse, David and Solomon type kingdom coming in the last days when God wd gather his ppl a 2 nd Time a 2nd coming...As the H.G. cannot be born in us without the seed of Christ thus Christ is truly the father of the H.G..He has to know us.

Revelation 5: Focus on the seven Spirits of God.

Revelation 4:5 also discusses the seven Spirits of God along with Revelation 5:6. Apparently; Isaiah 11:2 is a commonly referred to cross reference; although technically it involves 6 ministries under the Lord Himself (as the 7th); it does fit in a sort of Menorah picture of how the Spirit operates in the entire corporate Body. We see a further description in Zechariah 4:2-3 of this source (apparently now in heaven); and the two prophets that tap into this power as witnesses throughout the earth in the end times. That can be studied further in Revelation 11.

It would seem that the seven spiritual gifts also would be in play here as to the emphasis given to a given church. This would be seen in Romans 12:6-8. In general; it seems that there are certain strengths and weaknesses that are commonplace depending on what gifts we have and that could factor into the overall situation as to the state of a congregation; what trials a particular congregation may or may not be called to suffer; doctrinal errors that creep in; etc. It is important to see the interdependence here so that the church isn't imbalanced

( 1 Cor. 12:14-16). In fact; we also see seven gifts listed in 1 Corinthians 12:8-11. It is important to differentiate between the fruit of the Spirit (love; joy; peace; longsuffering; etc) in Galatians 5:22-22 which characterizes the lives of all true believers and the particular ministries they have. We can't have one without the other. The common thread; of course is the love of God and brethren as seen in John 13:34-35; and reflected in 1 Corinthians 13 (entire chapter). Apparently; gifts can operate even with immature saints just as some could believe at one time without understanding the indwelling Holy Spirit such in Acts 19:1-4.

In conclusion; God distributes as He will or "severally" ( 1 Cor. 12:11). In obedience because we love Christ ( John 14:15) we have the right attitude to grow.

I concur with Richard, This period will be during the Millennium reign of Christ. This is a literal reign here on earth.

They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

Hiya Leslie....I love that Isaiah 11....All these animals are symbolic of ppl, humanity that have given birth to this lil Child which is the H.G. The Child of Promise that is leading them to his Holy Mountain.... Hebrews 12:22....Ye are come unto mount ZION the city of the living God....That HEAVENLY JERUSALEM...ETC....Thats y Isaiah is saying a lil Child is gonna lead them....Which is the spirit of truth the kingdom that is gonna reprove the whole world as Jesus said.

......All these animals are just symbolic of ppl and their animalistic natures....All these animals are ppl that have been converted to this lil Child....which is the H.G. that is leading them....Unless ya receive the Kingdom of God as a lil child you will in no wise enter there in....We all must birth a lil Child which is the H.G....Thats y he has to KNOW US.

Thats y Isaiah 11:6 is telling us about KNOWLEDGE.. He has to KNOW US in order for the good seed to be sown in us resulting in a birth, the kingdom has to come via a lil Child which is the H.G. the Child of Promise

......Knowledge shall cover the earth as the waters cover the seas which is an intimacy with Christ the bridegroom....Remember when God told Jeremiah about the New Covenant....God said i will KNOW them all from the least to the greatest which is gona result in a heavenly birth....As Jeremiah saw all the world in travail and birth pains....In fact 27 times in the O.T. the prophets saw this world in travail and birth pains....Which is the result of this knowledge that is gonna cover the Earth....O thank you Jesus for this knowledge your intimacy with humanity....Thus all men will be bornagain....I will KNOW THEM ALL FROM THE LEAST TO THE GREATEST....OK Gotta go do my Walk...GBU ALL

Furthermore, the earth will no longer conceal its dead ( Isaiah 26:21). The souls of those countless millions of aborted babies; all those who have died of the O.T. and New Testament saints will finally live life to the fullest. I see the Temple as being a reminder on earth in the 1000 year reign of Christ as to what He did; and we should remember that the food will be part of the bountiful harvest of grain and fish at that time as well ( Ezekiel 47:8-9 which BTW already is starting to develop with fresh water inflow where fish have been seen in recent years). There will be ceremonial cleanness needed because those who are still in mortal bodies having children at that time will not be able to stand in God's presence at that time; or around those of us who will be ruling and reigning at that time. It is clear that there is a Millenium because of verses such as Isaiah 65:20 and Zech. 14:18 where rebellion brings swift retribution and or early death. Justice will finally cover the earth as the waters of the sea ( Isaiah 11:9). This is exciting news!

Yes; I agree the Mercy Seat needs to be remembered; as to His mercy on our souls. We also stand in a dispensation when we are blessed if we don't see Him with certain promises and giftings and rewards which are unique and better in some ways than they will be when people CAN see Him. Still; to be able to finally have fellowship on this earth and then in eternity without all these "momentary afflictions" ( 2 Cor. 4:17) will be really great. Either Paul had something SERIOUSLY wrong with him; or glory is beyond belief. We can look at this knowing we will not have to face hell or the judgments about to hit the earth. The Tribulation must come first. Even for us (at least for me) this future hope is still the only thing that gets me through the thick darkness already strangling much of this world. Better a doorkeeper in His house ( Psalm 84:10) than dwell in the tents of the wicked.

GM Jesse very well but let me tell you that Isaiah 11:1 mentions a Grandson. Solomon was the Granson in the Davidic kingdom,...Just as Solomon the Granson came out of Davids loins....So the H.G. will come out of Christ loins meaning his Words his breath....Remember when he breathe on them they received the H.G.....Isaiah lived approx. 300 yrs after this Davidic kingdom but Isaiah was still preaching a Davidic kingdom was coming in the last days....A Jesse,David Solomon type of a kingdom was coming in the last days when the lord will set his hand AGAIN a 2 nd time to recover his ppl...In Isaiah 11:11

......Remember God wd not let David the son build that great Temple.....He wd only let Solomon the granson build the temple and Jesus tells us a greater then Solomon is here....The H.G. is a greater and wiser king then Solomon that is gonna build a greater Temple in our hearts and minds and in every fiber of our being....As Jesus said the kingdom is gona be with you....Our bodies is now his temple....Abide in me and i in you....We are gonna marry the H.G. THE GRANSON....As a young man marries a virgin so shall thy SONS ( the H.G. ) marry thee.....As the bridegroom rejoices over the bride so shall thy God rejoice over thee.... Isaiah 62:5...The H.G. is our son simply b/c we have to birth the H.G. That Child of Promise the son of man and is also the bridegroom....And Jesus indentifies with this Jesse/David/Solomon Kingdom....Saying i am the root and offspring of David the bright and the moring star....But Jesus said these things are HID ( they make zero sense ) to the wise and prudent but are revealed unto babes.....The babes and sucklings he mentions ..Gods Grandchildren.. Spirits the H.G......An Israel of God.....That new born babe desiring the sincere milk of the word is the H.G. the Grandson our new heart and new spirit....Only Jesus can father this spritual child...As Isaiah refers to him JESUS .as everlasting FATHER....Without his seed the H.G. cannot be born in us

    Brother Jesse:

    I agree with your comments.

We have to surrender (die) our life to Christ.

Do we have life, in and of ourselves, NO? Most don't understand this.

1 Corinthians 4:11 For we which LIVE are always delivered unto death for Jesus sake, that the LIFE OF JESUS might be made manifest in our mortal bodies (as well as in our IMMORTAL bodies in the AGE TO COME).

To repent means to change our way of UNDERSTANDING.

To repent would be to agree with God's word.

John 14:6 I AM the way, the Truth, and the LIFE.

Colossians 1:27 ....this mystery ....Christ in you .....

Philippians 2:13 For it is GOD (in you) that worketh both TO WILL and TO DO his good pleasure.

Christ (the first man) UNDERSTOOD this ....THOU in ME....the Father did EVERYTHING through Christ.

Man has to come to TRUTH (Christ in you): Man does EVERYTHING ....I in THEM .....through Christ.

This is the great DECEPTION: No KNOWLEDGE of the WORKS of God.

Hebrews 2:8 .....For now we see NOT YET all things put under him.

Man's time table IS NOT God's timetable.

Ephesians 2:7 That in the AGES TO COME .....

Isaiah 11:9 ....for the earth shall be full of the KNOWLEDGE of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I PLEASE, and it shall prosper in the things whereto I SENT IT.

1 Corinthians 15:28 And when all things (in the ages to come) have been subdued to him, then shall the Son also be subject unto him who put all things under him, that GOD may be ALL in ALL.

God Bless ALL on our pilgrimage to TRUTH.

Thanks Chris for your reply! I agree with the thought that the "Word was with God and the Word was God". I think the difference in beliefs is what happened when the in Word was made flesh. John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. I believe he was full of "grace and truth". He carried nature of God, but needed the grace of God and had to access it like we do. That is why he prayed, fasted, etc to resist temptation. Luke 2:40 And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him. v 52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man. Isaiah 11:3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: I believe he reflected his father at all times. Hebrews 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; The following verse to me is interesting indicating that we have been given the glory that God gave him. John 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: A mystery I have: is when was he considered the begotten Son and when did that happen. Psalm 2:7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. These thoughts are not all inclusive, but enough hopefully to clear any misunderstandings.

    Roy,

    Revelation 1:4 says from the seven Spirits which are before His, that is, God's throne;

There are two schools of thought on this. Please know that the number seven doesn't necessarily mean there are seven Spirits.

In the Bible, seven represents completeness, perfection.

The Jews take it as a Hebraism. RASHI, one of the greatest Jewish scholars uses Isaiah 11:1-2 to show that what John is using is a Hebraism to denote the seven fold Spirit of God. It means the Spirit of God is complete and perfect.

But what specifically is he making reference to?

In Revelation 4:5, we see the same thing when we study what the throne is like in heaven.

It says and out of the throne proceed lightnings, and thunderings, and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

In Revelation Chapter 5, the chapter where we see this scroll with seven seals on it, which is the title deed to the earth, and the call goes out who is worthy to take the scroll and loosen the seals thereof.

And no one was found worthy in heaven. And John began to weep. And he was told don't weep, the Lamb of God is worthy.

And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent forth into all the earth.

The seven eyes of Christ are the seven Spirits. So it represents completeness, perfection.

But its application is to the Lord's seeing. You see, he's talking about the all-encompassing Spirit who sees all things, and knows all things. That's the way the Jews understood it.

The scripture reference is Zechariah 4:10 which talks about these seven eyes, meaning that God sees perfectly and completely all things. And so John is using a Hebraism here.

    Hope this helps!

    Brother Roy

Revelation 1:4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia, Grace be unto you, and peace from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the SEVEN SPIRITS before his throne.

This is speaking about Christ, and the SEVEN SPIRITS of HIM.

Isaiah 11:1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse (Christ), and a BRANCH (man, you and I) shall grow out of his (Christ's) roots.

Here are the SEVEN SPIRITS of Christ.

    Isaiah 11:2 And the (1) SPIRIT of the Lord (the Father) shall rest upon him, the SPIRIT of (2) wisdom and (3) understanding, the SPIRIT of (4) counsel and (5) might, the SPIRIT of (6) knowledge and (7) fear of the Lord (the Father);

The root is the LIFE of the BRANCH; it feeds the BRANCH with these SEVEN SPIRITS.

May God give us eyes to see and ears to hear.

    God Bless You.

I'm not so much sure if it's birth pangs, although you could be correct, Sheila.

Once the rapture happens, the tribulation does begin but it progressively gets worse if we follow the prophetic events in the Holy Bible. For example -- the anti-Christ may not rise up for a few years until after the tribulation begins but one of the early condemnations will be the mark of the beast (condemnation for those left behind and take it).

There's a slight contrast in the events which precede the rapture and which precede the 2nd coming (as they're not similar events or the same as some claim).

No signs precede Rapture. ( 1 Thessalonians 5:1-3)

Signs precede Second Coming. ( Luke 21:11,15)

Many terrible things will happen in the midst of the tribulation and there will be earthquakes, war and overall unrest. Some things of read you in Revelation are some of the most terrifying to be known. Israel's role too if you contrast between the pre-tribulation rapture & the 2nd coming:

Israel is persecuted during the Tribulation. Two-in-three Jews in Israel are killed. ( Zechariah 13:8-9)

Israel is regathered. ( Jeremiah 23:5-8)

World famine, pestilence, war and sorrow follow the Rapture. ( Matthew 24:6-10; Luke 17:31)

World peace follows Christ's Second Coming when He reigns from Jerusalem ( Isaiah 11:6)

    The Kingdom of God.

    Part 3.

    "WITHIN YOU."

The better translation would be "in your midst" or "among you." Jesus was telling the Pharisees that He brought the kingdom of God to earth. Jesus' presence in their midst gave them a taste of the kingdom life, as attested by the miracles that Jesus performed. Elsewhere, Jesus mentions His miracles as definitive proof of the kingdom: "If I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you" ( Luke 11:20).

There are three popular interpretations of Jesus' words in Luke 17:21 that the kingdom of God is within you (or among you): 1) the kingdom of God is essentially inward, within man's heart; 2) the kingdom is within your reach if you make the right choices; and 3) the kingdom of God is in your midst in the person and presence of Jesus. The best of these interpretations, it seems, is the third: Jesus was inaugurating the kingdom as He changed the hearts of men, one at a time.

For the time being, Christ's kingdom is not of this world ( John 18:36). One day, however, the kingdom of God will be manifest on the earth ( Isaiah 35:1), and Jesus Christ will rule a physical kingdom.

Jesus told his desciples to pray for the Kingdom.

Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

    Mat. 6:10.

Some say the Kingdom started in Jesus ministry.

There's several problems with that view.

    1) Davids throne no longer existed then. "It still don't.

    2) Revelation 20. refutes that notion. "The devil is still at large, look around.

The Millennial Kingdom is a one-thousand-year literal and visible reign of Christ upon the earth during which Satan is bound, Israel as a people is restored, and the Jewish Temple rebuilt.

    Isaiah 2:1-4.

    Isaiah 11:1-10.

    Isaiah 65:18-25

    I like this one!!

Isaiah 11:11. God will gather Israel a SECOND TIME and all this will happen.

This is being fulfilled before our very eyes! He just haven't poured his spirit on that nation yet.

    God bless.

    Hey Jesse,

Good information: truth shines from the word of God. As you said the leaders of Jerusalem should have known. I believe they did know, in Matthew 2:3-6, that Jerusalem (chief priests and scribes) was also troubled. They knew the time, but God did to them what He did to Pharoah, He blinded and hardened their hearts, John 12:40. To me this kind of ties into the things S Spencer has been sharing.

There are other scriptures they were probably aware of, like Jeremiah 50:6 and Ezekiel 34 where God told Ezekiel to prophesy against the shepherds, (the leaders) and what God would do, Ezekiel 34:10.

So, they were troubled to hear Jesus was born. They did not even send anyone to Bethlehem to see. You would think they would have been jumping for joy, but they did not want to give up the power, wealth, and Moses's seat they had. Jesus the true Shepherd John 10:11 first came only for the lost sheep of Israel, Matthew 15:24, fulfilling and confirming the covenant Hebrews 13:20. Jesus also told the scribes and the Pharisees their house is left to them desolate, and He will return Matthew 23:36-39.

Their duty as shepherds was over in that generation, 70 AD, and the sheep shall be gathered again, Isaiah 11:12 Ezekiel 37:21-22 Jeremiah 23:3 and more.

    God bless,

    RLW
