Thank you, Lord...for your grace, mercy, forgiveness, protection, guidance, peace and for your unfailing love.

"There's A Great Day Coming By & BY"

Matt. 11: 28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Loving Father, I want to press on in my Christian life, to become more and more like the Lord Jesus. I know thatit will require me to put my hand to the plough and press on, with the patient endurance that only comes from You. I pray thatI may not lose heart or grow weary in doing the good works that You have prepared for me to do. Thank You that in due time I may reap a fruitful reward, if I do not give up. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN.

Teresa, I see value in both ways of dealing with the painful aspects of life; first (and most importantly) bringing them before the Lord in prayer & leaving it with Him to help you through them, and secondly, to seek a sympathetic ear & wise counsel from a trusted caring person. The New Testament Church was always encouraged to look out for each other & to attend to each one's needs ( Galatians 6:2; Hebrews 13:16; Romans 12:13; James 2:15,16; 1 John 3:16,17). God has given us a wonderful access, through His Spirit, right into His Throne room, but He has also provided 'family' used by Him to bring comfort & hope as well.

Sometimes, when we are over-burdened with problems, all that we have to share with another are only our problems & very little else. So your friend might be feeling that all she hears from you are your issues only & sees you in great anxiety or overly depressed because of them. And this might in turn depress her, hence her reaction. In many cases, the person with a huge problem isn't able to think clearly through it (its cause, ways to deal with it, support from others, etc.). That's where 'a friend' needs to be able to really listen & help you work through it & always be there for you. Often, your pastor or Christian counsellor can listen attentively & give good advice & also follow-up. The main thing, is for you to re-gain your peace in heart & mind from the Lord, hang onto Him in both your good & bad times, read His Word, & not give up. He has blessed each one of us with life, life to be lived for Him. So the Author of Life will certainly be with those whose trust rests only in Him. "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning" ( Psalm 30:5). May the Lord guide you very specially in your concerns & help you live above them, looking for His Arm to work mightily on your behalf.

Hello again John. I believe that what you did by coming to this site and praying for the people on here who posted prayer requests was the right thing to do. I was told about this site by a family member who said that she felt that I (And her too) could benefit greatly by being more mindful of the needs of others and less mindful of our own needs. God's Word says in Proverbs 11:25, "The generous man will be prosperous, And he who waters will himself be watered."

Sometimes we can feel so 'dry' spiritually and maybe other ways as well, physically; mentally; emotionally; financially; and it could be (At times) because we have not been 'watering' others. If or when we do; God will SEE TO IT that WE get 'watered' as well. So I think it was good that you prayed for people on here John.

And you are so right, we can get so caught up thinking, "I can't help that person; I don't have lots of money or lots of time or lots of ANYTHING...so I won't DO anything." But so often, it really IS the seemingly small things that we do for each other (IF we do them) that blesses them the most. Most of us don't NEED a million dollars; or NEED massive amounts of help, but just SOMETHING to remind us that we are not lost in the crowd; something that encourages our hearts and our spirits to keep going on. And maybe God is using your situation...NO....God IS using your situation John for SOME kind of good that you nor others might see yet. God may be teaching YOU something but He may also be teaching OTHERS something by what you are going through and HOW you go through it.

May The Lord be lifted up and magnified and glorified through you John and through what you are going through, and the Godly way; by HIS grace; that you go through it. All glory; honor; and praise to The Lord in ALL things.

    Take care John; God bless.

Hello again John. Please don't worry about how you communicate; you're doing fine. My husband and I are not great with technology either; so I totally understand! But you're all right; no worries.

It's a great pity and shame that so MANY things are done by computer now and not on paper. What was SUPPOSED to 'make things easier' actually has made EVERYTHING so MUCH more complicated.

I feel bad if you have to donate blood to make money. The church in America and maybe worldwide is in a complete shambles.

There ARE yet REAL churches that minister Biblically; and know how to be there for those in need; but it's getting more rare every day; I'm very grieved that so far no one has stepped up to the plate to help you John. But as you know, God will NEVER fail you; even when it APPEARS that He is. He won't.

I think it's totally awesome that you are there for your ex-wife; and that you are so 'others-minded'; as Christ His Self is; and as He wants ALL of us to be.

I pray that God will make a way where there SEEMS to be NO way; BOTH for you with your financial/home situation and for your ex-wife. I pray God will send people to both of you to minister to you; ONLY those who are TRULY of God; NO ONE that will try to rip you off in any way...I HATE to even WRITE this; but sadly; you and all of us must be on guard a little for such things. We have to ask God for His wisdom and discernment in who we look to for help.

I, and I'm SURE that so MANY others on here John; those that may not respond to you at all; are in fact thinking of you; remembering you in prayer and your wife as well; and above all; JESUS CHRIST 'EVER LIVES TO MAKE INTERCESSION' for YOU John; for your wife; for ALL of His children. Please hold fast to that truth John; as you are tested in The Faith.

Take care John; and please, as you are able to; stay in touch with all of us. May The Lord bless you; comfort you; strengthen you in The Faith; and cause you (And all of us) to BE "MORE THAN conquerors" through Christ

Hello again John. I am touched by the fact that you are more concerned about the woman in the nursing home than you are for yourself; for your circumstances. THAT is GODLY love; and God will bless you for that John.

By the way; I'm TERRIBLE with technology so PLEASE don't feel bad; you're doing fine.

I am sorry that it seems imminent that you WILL be homeless. I wish I could help you in some tangible way.

Are there ANY organizations anywhere around you John; any 'Rescue Missions" or outreaches; even a YMCA type place that you could call to see if you could stay in one of them if in fact you are displaced from your home?

I'm VERY sorry John that no one has reached out to offer you help. I hear this so VERY frequently with people John; and it breaks my heart. I think people have become selfish...as God says in His Word would happen in the end-times...and others are overwhelmed I think with so many problems themselves. Or; we tend to believe, erroneously most times; that "Someone else will help".

God hears you John; He sees you; His loving and caring eyes are EVER upon you; and He WILL help; though He MAY not help in the ways we THINK He will; but the bottom line is, HE WILL.

Right now though John; I just lift BOTH you; and the woman you have cared for up before The Lord; and I ask Him to come alongside; to assist you; to help you to do what He knows is best for BOTH of you; AND to let all that is beyond your control be put permanently into His capable hands and to trust Him to work it all out; in His way; in His time. May He grant you His wisdom; His discernment; His counsel; His peace that passes ALL understanding; and cause you to not be UNDER these circumstances but to be ABOVE them; and may He be with the woman; minister to her mind, heart, soul, spirit, and body; and keep her safe from harm; and have His perfect will in her. I'll check back again to see if you've responded and if there is anything else I can do. Just know you are NOT FORGOTTEN; nor the woman.

Dear BILL WHITTINGHILL, in peace, yes it was a mistake, if u read further u will find that God Himself regret that He made human.

Genesis 6:6 And today we are the chosen one too set thing in order. Example 1 Peter 2:6 John 14:6 Make ppl see Jesus Christ only in Him thru The Holy Goust can we see God. Many see a different God today, but are driven away, becouse of the eval who is in them and the eval in the spiritual world, who every one not see. Ephesians 6:12-19 W e all need to come thru in Jesus.

I know nice ppl who have going too church for 40 years and they have the holy spirit in one way, but are bounded in television and work. I belive that God have a place for them. What i try to tell is: Not everybody sees the Spirit of the Holy. And remember we have all different work in the Lord. 1 Corintihans 12 And in that the eval can grow if they dont stop it by a gift they have. A friend may se it and pray to stop it.

    Galatians 6:2

Thats why Paul continue to tell us, dont give up! We must be standfast in the Word of God and dont complane. And Love Jesus and all ppl, and rases.

God bless us all in Jesus name, love u in Christ

My dear brother have Faith and trust in the Lord he will provide all you need. It is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and He will make straight your paths. Take it one day at a time and through prayer and supplication, the Lord will make a way.
  • Cindy - In Reply on Galatians 6 - 1 year ago
Hello John. First let me say that you will NOT fall through ANY cracks; though it MIGHT seem as though you are; because GOD SEES YOU; and HE LOVES YOU; and He will NEVER STOP loving you. People WILL sometimes not be there for us; but that is not so with The Lord. He loves you 'with an EVER-LASTING love'.

I pray in Jesus' Name that your ears will be MORE widely open to His voice; His leading; His direction; to know PRECISELY what to do; what not to do; and to follow the Scripture and BELIEVE it..."Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and turn away from evil. It will be health to your flesh, And strength to your bones." Proverbs 3:5-9.

No matter WHAT comes our way John, ALL of it; as someone taught me; is 'filtered' through God's loving hands. Nothing can befall us that is beyond God's love. The HARDEST circumstances are ALWAYS to show us something. God's love. His mercy. His Truth. His provision. He doesn't beat us up to be cruel; He is not a sinner as we are; ALL that He does; ALL that He allows, is for SOME good. OUR good; or somehow; the good of someone else.

I will share something The Lord gave me a few years ago for a woman I know who was going through a difficult time; including not having family members to show her compassion. The Lord gave me this to say to her; and I'll share it with you...."If you have everything BUT Jesus; you have NOTHING. If you have NOTHING but Jesus; you have EVERYTHING."

And so it is for all of us. I pray you come to the place where, IF you DO become homeless; that The Lord will cause you to see it as a blessing; to have ALL worldly ENTANGLEMENTS taken from you; that you may have Christ and HE ALONE; which is EVERYTHING. I pray you won't feel any fear or abandonment of The Faith; but that That Faith will grow STRONGER; and that God's PERFECT will may done to, for and in you.

To Jason: have trust in our Lord, pray,God knows all ,hears everything,, sees all. Read the Bible, reach out to people that are kind, maybe around in your life,or here.Look @ Proverbs3:5-7,1Cor15:58,Eccles3 .Read Matt. Mark,Luke,& John. Here I am just going on. Do you have a Bible or access to a Bible ? I think most would consider King James version the best . You have to start somewhere. You mentioned that you work construction, I hope that you are drinking plenty of water & some Gatorade type drink to stay hydrated, & replace fluids that get lost with sweating. Sorry but I am a nurse (E.R.)& have seen what happens when people don't. I will pray for you as I am sure others here will also.

Marke, I am very confused by what you are saying. You are implying that one remaining faithful to Christ is somehow comparable to being late to work? You're saying murderers & adulterers can still be assured of salvation? This is free grace heresy.

Galatians 6: 7-9 "7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of THE SPIRIT REAP LIFE EVERLASTING. 9 And let US not be weary in well doing: for in due season WE shall reap, IF WE faint not." It's safe to say Paul was saved & writing to fellow believers. Notice how he says "we". If eternal security was unconditional I just wonder why he said we reap "life everlasting", including himself, if it can't be lost.

And, is murder and adultery sewing to the flesh or the spirit? The flesh! So, you just said we are still secure in salvation if we murder or commit adultery. Yet, the Bible says only those who sew to the spirit and don't quit will inherit eternal life. I just find this logic completely un-biblical and foreign to the church before the reformation.

Just because God's word teaches we must remain faithful to Christ doesn't make us "Legalists". That's a cop-out from the OSAS crowd who don't want to acknowledge we play a role in our relationship w/ Christ. Let's also not mistake "faith" and "works". You can try to twist faith to be a "work" but faith will always be faith. If remaining faithful to Christ is somehow a "work" then one could logically say that one's initial profession of faith is also a "work". Because, after all, to the OSAS crowd they appear to be more focused on their own one time profession than the relationship w/ Christ. Scripture always talking of us "walking" with Christ, and receiving the end of our faith, eternal life ( 1 Jn 2: 24-25; Rom. 6:22). Biblically speaking, only those who endure to the end in faith will inherit eternal life.

Brother Giannis none of this section isn't directed towards you, and thank you for sharing.

    Galatians 6:16.

Here's a verse that the replacement theologist often uses.

They combine that with Romans 9:6 and off they go.

Totally ignoring the surrounding scriptures and the context of the chapter, sometimes several chapters such as Romans Chs 9,10,11.

Let's look at the Israel of God in Galatians and the false teachings of some.

Here's the situation Paul is dealing with. Galatians 3:1-5.

You have to include the previous verses to get the context.

Galatians 6:12-16. Paul is talking about the Church, BUT what is often missed is he divides them into 2 groups.

Vs. 15) For in Christ Jesus neither CIRCUMCISION availeth any thing, nor UNCIRCUMCISION, but a new creature.

Vs,16) And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on "THEM," and mercy, and upon the "Israel of God."

Notice THEM in verse 16, "Uncircumcised, Gentiles"

The Israel of God, " Circumcised! Messianic Israelites". Children of the promise mentioned in

    Romans 9:8.

So you see also in Romans 9:6, Paul is referring to those offspring of Abraham whether Ishmaelites, Arabian, Egyptian, or Israelites.

And those of the Promise, The remnant,

For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.

But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.

    Galatians 4:22-23.

    Here's the Context.

For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:

    Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises;

Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen. Romans 9:3-5.

You see if you put it in context it explains itself.

You have to twist a lot of scripture to make these passages the Church.

    God bless.

In the answers you have received dear sister Melissa, i see disbelief and reluctance. Even if something is true, one can not continue with such a sermon, repent and be baptized! We bear each other's burdens. Galatians 6:2 We will love each other and give each other holy kisses! 1 Corintihans 16:20 It's not about tying hands and sitting in a corner and thanking for everything. You must never forget the gifts of the Spirit. The Spirit is given to each one according to what is acceptable. So i recommend you ladies to throw out the water spirit you have received in your heart.

    1 Corintihans 12

    James 5:13-16

Here it is clear the saved are being talked about. So there is a difference between laying hands on the saved and the unsaved. In my life I have never experienced and been infected by the people outside the church. Outside, they are not with us in the Spirit, are they?

    Mark 16:14-18

Here it is Jesus Himself who gives the mission command. I want you all to overcome your unbelief, it is these words that you must prove dear sister. Seize the day, the moment, and capture every evil thought. Cleanse yourself every day from malicious thinking and live your life in Peace with Jesus and ppl that you hope for something you do not see. It applies to all of us. Romans 8 and 9 chapter. Go out at Jesus' command and look neither to the left nor to the right. Do the Lord's revelation and do not be afraid to live out the Gifts of the Spirit. If I have now misunderstood their answers, then remember that language, words can be confusing if they are not presented comprehensibly. I use google and sometimes it also goes wrong. :) please forgive me.

God bless u all in Jesus Name He loves u, love u in Christ.

Thanks T. Levis. Yes, I looked at the 1611 KJV & the photo page: it is as you wrote.

Re: Hebrews 13:24. It is commonly understood that the Hebrews writer (Paul?; another?) was writing here of those Italian expatriates with/near the author, were sending greetings back to their Italian brethren. If this letter was written from Italy (as per the superscription), then the question: why should "they of Italy (living in Italy)" send greetings to their Italian brethren?

Philemon 1:25: "The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen. (Written from Rome to Philemon, by Onesimus a servant.)" Again, this superscription doesn't appear in my KJV, though I do have it pencilled in at the letter's head, after some research many years ago. Clearly, Paul was the author of this letter, but Onesimus was the penman, as Paul often used others to pen some of his other epistles (some say because of his weak eyes: "so large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand' ( Galatians 6:11)).

    Thank you for your research.

The concept here appears to be doing things to be seen of men. The word "reward" can be taken as the consequences of our actions; heaped up ( Psalm 91:8). This is; according to that passage so bad that we will only see it from afar. We reap what we sow; whether to the flesh or the Spirit ( Galatians 6:7-9). What is considered honorable among me is an abomination to God ( Luke 16:15-16). Our prayers are to be in secret; so that we can be seen in Matthew 6:6 that our reward is from God Himself.

This brings up the issue of just when prayer should be corporate and when it should be private. This fits in; of course with the "good deeds" that we do to help others (let not your left hand know what your right hand doeth) Matthew 6:3-4. The whole concept here is not to draw attention to how "righteous" we are through an outer display. That gets into another verse where it states in Matthew 5:34 as well as in the book of James that we are to swear by no name; but simply say yes or no. Clearly; this needs to be taken in context; as covenants such as marriage still are in effect and other such vows. Again; the focus is to be on not being hypocrites who wish to be praised but to glorify God. Verses that indicate we are to bear one another's burdens; confess sins to one another and that in Acts where Peter was being prayed for and the prison cell opened ( Acts 12:5) surely shows how appropriate prayers are given in corporate settings. Many testimonies; however indicate how some old lady was praying for a person when in open rebellion for many years and how they changed. "The effectual prayers of a righteous man availeth much" ( James 5:16-18).

Clearly; it isn't worth seeking praise of men during this short life; which is as a vapor; when eternity awaits. Christ Himself saw the "reward" for His sufferings in bringing "many sons to glory" ( Heb. 2:10; Eph. 1:18). In the end; sin doesn't pay; and all glory goes to God. Agape-RIch P

This section brings the power of life and death to prominence. After Isaiah's prophecy about King Hezekiah's imminent death; the Lord chose to heed to his prayers and add 15 years to his life. He was also going to give deliverance from Assyria for His own purposes as well as "David's sake" (v. 6). Verses 9-11 show the sign asked for to confirm his healing at the Temple. That was a REVERSAL of the sun's position back to where it was before it was in the incident of Ahaz. That was when the sun AND moon were stopped; i.e. indicating the earth's rotation or a more complex reaction of various orbits or perhaps time itself being held back. Of course; now that the sun is back to where it was previously it takes some diligence searching the historical record for this; I believe some have done this. It surely would be as significant worldwide as the darkness for a few hours when Christ was dying.

The rest of the passage refers to Babylon being shown all the treasure. After the Assyrians eventually turned from appeasement to military foe; one would think such actions would be; as the Prophet Isaiah stated-be an unwise action. Hezekiah's character flaw also would be in not seeking God to delay further His diaspora predicted; instead of just being content that it wouldn't happen in his time. (v. 19). This shows short sightedness in general; especially in light of clear evidence of answered prayer. This is why we should always persevere in prayer and not grow weary in doing good. ( Galatians 6:9).

Hi Mary Beth, I've seen people discussing addiction on here before. This is common struggle many people have, but I think many people are embarassed, or maybe prideful to share that, so that's one possible explanation for not seeing it more. You can do an advanced search for the discussion pages and maybe find some.

Some post for different reasons and aren't necessarily looking for help. Some look only for validation and have no intention on breaking addiction or strongholds. Maybe fewer people want solutions. These verses seem relevent: Galatians 6:1, 2 Thessalonians 3:14-15, Ephesians 5:11. When compassion turns into condoning or supporting someone harming themself I think its wrong to condone self harm and evil. Our bodies are on loan from God and God's holy temple and we are to treat it with respect and dignity. And if I try the Galations 6:1 approach to gently restore someone, but they have no interest in letting go the stronghold, then I think Ephesians 5:11 applies. If we entangle ourselves with evil we can only cause further harm to ourselves and others around us. We can still lovingly pray for someone, but not put ourselves in a situation where we are supporting someone's self-harm and violation of God's commandments. Not sure what info you're looking for exactly or what specific addiction you have in mind, but that's just an opinion. God bless...

Dear "Rick Castleberry", Your soul is unique and you share your spirit with God.

1 Thessalonians 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

If a Christian has tried this. Then we know that when one confesses a cause, sin or distress of some kind. Then that person experiences a liberation. This can be explained by the fact that we carry each other's burdens in the spirit sometimes. And know what a person going through.

Stay blessed and be glad that our Lord is Jesus forever. Love u in Christ.

Dear Harold Hendrickson God knows how a human life will manifest itself, He also speaks of genealogies. So a cripple from birth does not expect full healing. Nor does the person who has contracted the disease from external stresses. So here man will in a way accept his position.

When it comes to mental health, this can be quite a whole study in fact. There are probably some here on the web who have this to learn out.

When one person seeks too be fully healed, one person seeks the Lord in an urgent way. And it must be so that men will be able to see God's works come into force here on earth (pst i did not find the word i was looking for today,: p)

Personally, i believe that the longing to be healed comes from God Himself. For what does a man know about what is best for them? Our dear Paul finally wore the Lord's marks on his body! Imagine that. Galatians 6:17 And Paul had been told by the Lord, "My grace is sufficient for you." 2 Corintihans 12:9

Even i can say i thank God for everything even my frailties. For when i am humble in myself, He is near with His Good will for little me. Its nothing in me who stand against Him who is my King and Savior. God bless us all in Jesus Christ holy Name above all names, Amen

Thank you, Adam. Yes, we cannot fall into the trap of calling good evil, and evil good. We are to love what is good and do it. Paul says that we are to not grow weary in doing good ( 2 Thessalonians 3:13, Galatians 6:9). Paul talks often about the law or doctrine of godliness (which is doing what is morally right) and instructs believers to avoid sinful actions (which he lists in multiple places). So, doing what is godly and avoiding what is sinful is obeying God and His laws. Like David, we should love God's law and delight in it. We should be thankful that God has shown us in His law what is good and what is evil.

I think that many here who speak against doing the "works" of the law do give the impression that we can sin away as long as we believe in Jesus. I don't think that this is really what they want to convey, but in being so intent on promoting being "under grace" these people present a message that is incomplete and does not really present Paul's position in Romans and Galatians sufficiently as Paul repeatedly speaks in these Epistle letters that we are to avoid the deeds of the sinful nature and instead do the deeds of our spiritual nature led by the Holy Spirit.

We who post here really need to be careful and thoughtful in the ideas we put forth so that we do not lead any believer into sin. This comes from speaking a balanced and thorough explanation of law and gospel, as Paul did at length and so deeply in his Epistle letters.

    Bro Alex,

Christ died so that we can be forgiven of our sins - period! That is, if we sincerely ask for this forgiveness. If we don't ask - we don't get forgiven. If we keep sinning we must keep asking for His forgiveness. It's ongoing. Remember, God knows our heart. If we are not sincere - he will know it. If we keep sinning, at some point, we have to ask ourselves are we really saved?

    Galatians 6:7

"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."

If we continue to sin we can surely die.

    Hebrews 10:26

"For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,"

If we are truly walking with Christ, we will be following all of His Commandments!

    Read and believe!

There are 27 scriptures that say it was a cross. Only 2 say Pole

    1 Corinthians 1:18

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

    Galatians 5:11

And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.

    Galatians 6:14

But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

    Ephesians 2:16

And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

    Philippians 2:8

And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

    Philippians 3:18

(For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:

    Colossians 1:20

And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

    Colossians 2:14

    Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

    Hebrews 12:2

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

*Next 2 verses referring to Jesus

    Numbers 21:8

And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a POLE: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, SHALL LIVE.

    Numbers 21:9

And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, HE LIVED.

    Hi Liz.

Good Question. I believe love is a fruit of the spirit. When the spirit works in the life of a believer it's God expressing himself through the believer. It is not anything you manifest, It's an reaction. However sometimes we grieve the spirit by obeying the flesh.

Now God doesn't compromise his other attributes when displaying love. such as chastening, Judging or his Holiness. For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. Hebrews 12:6.

And I believe that also his passed on to a mature Christian.

For instance do you express the truth when another believer is in a fault to restore them or do you compromise the truth and bypass them altogether.

    Example: Galatians 6:1.

Speaking truth to one another is a way of expressing Gods love, But is sometimes not received very well.

    God bless.

    Hi Charles.

The conflict over Israel is not the wrong DNA.

GOD said he will make a nation out of Abraham. Genesis 12:2.

God confirmed a covenant with Abraham and his seed afterwards. Genesis 17:7.

These promises was also confirmed with Isaac and Jacob.

It's the heir of promise given to Abraham.

Down through Isaac and Jacob that is fought over.

See: Galatians 4:29-30. But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.

Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.

The seed that was promised to come that would bless the world is Christ.

Galatians 3:16. Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

If you study the Genealogy of Christ you will see they're Gentiles in it. Ruth being one. and also Rahab.

God sanctified Israel and gave them the seal of circumcision. "A cutting away the filt of the flesh " Gentiles was considered unclean. but if the wanted to come into the camp and remain they had to be circumcised.

Genesis 17:12. And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.

    TODAY CIRCUMCISION AVAILETH NOTHING.

    Galatians 5:6.

    Galatians 6:15.

We become that new creature through our new birth in Christ. "Baptism of The Holyspirit ".

    God bless.
