    Traditions,

    Part 1

Traditions are practices, customs, or rituals that are passed down from generation to generation.

Truth refers to unbiassed reality, the correct representation of facts, it surpasses personal opinions or feelings.

Easter Sunday is a holiday celebrated by millions of people around the world who honor the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Easter is also the day that many children excitedly wait for the Easter Bunny to arrive and deliver their treats of baskets filled with chocolate, eggs, and stuffed rabbits.

Easter is a holiday that is now chosen to correspond with the first Sunday following the first full moon after the spring equinox unless the full moon falls on a Sunday then it would be the next Sunday. Passover is now not considered in selecting the day. The Jewish feast that was the same day Jesus resurrected that most overlook is the Feast of First Fruits even though Jesus is the First Fruits of them that slept.

There are many myths about Easter, but all come from pagan sun worship and their festivals correspond with the sun's equinoxes. The ascension of Christ and Pentecost has been changed to 40 days from Easter and 50 days from Easter not from the first day after the Sabbath after Passover day.

Easter was originally called Resurrection Morning which was the Feast of First Fruits, the first day after the sabbath day after Passover during the Feast of unleavened bread, this is the first day in counting the days of the seven sabbaths of the Feasts of Weeks, that has been replaced with traditions of Good Friday, two days in the grave, sunrise services, Ezekiel 8:15-16, bunnies, colored eggs, baskets, pretty hats and dresses.

Does the Bible tell us what day Jesus was crucified? Yes, Jesus is our Passover and for Him to fulfill the Feasts it would have to be exactly as the first Passover. The lambs were taken up on the 10th and killed on the evening before the sunset on the 14th of Nisan, Exodus 12:1-6.

    See part 2.

Wendy this Son of Man thing is very interesting in the spritual realm....It implies mans fruit unto God which is a baby Christ the very multiplication of GOD in humanity....In Gen. 20 : 15...God made a promise that Christ wd be multiplied as the stars of heaven and God was so passionate about this Promise that he swore by his very self that (mankind was gona be borngain of an incorruptible seed) ....Thus the need for the sower and his seed an incorruptible seed which is gona form Christ in us humanity which is the H.G. that Child of PROMISE...Jesus cd not refer to the H.G. as that great PROMISE if he were not the multiplication of God in us humanity....That was the great promise that Christ wd be multiplied as the stars of heaven....Thus mankind has to birth a Baby Christ which is the multiplication of very God....Thats y the woman in Rev 12 is giving birth to the manchild that is gonna rule all nations....Simply b/c he is gona be born in the hearts of all men via the seed of Christ.....Thats y the New Covenant states i will know them ALL from the least to the greatest....This intimacy is gonna result in a birth of Christ in all men...Thus the SON OF MAN....Thats y Jesus said behold i send the PROMISE of my Father upon you...Which was the H.G. a baby Christ...The Child of Promise....The multiplication of very God in us sinners...The gift of the H.G. is for everybody....As Jesus died for everybody.....God so loved the world etc....Jesus said Unless ya receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child you will in no wise enter there in.....ok Wendy GBU....I Pray that God gives you understanding in all this

Wendy The term son of man means that which we originated from genetically we are of adam, Jesus Christ is son of adam

by flesh and sinless blood because GOD created the sperm in Mary physically and the life of the flesh is in the bloodline passed

from the God side. Hebrews 2:14 He meaning Jesus Christ took part the flesh His blood was sinless thats why he is the payment

    for our sins.

Wendy....Everytime Jesus refered to himself as the son of man it was prophetic that mankind is gonna birth a baby Christ which is the H.G. ..That New Covenant a Heavenly Birth of Christ in us humanity....Thats y the sower wants to sow his precious seed in our hearts that it might initiate a birth of Christ in us....Which is our new heart and our new SPIRIT....As Jesus said the Kingdom is gona be with in you....Unless you receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child you will in no wise enter there in'

......Wendy Jesus has to be born in us via his good seed the living word....My lil children of whom i travail in birth till Christ is formed in you....Christ is gonna be formed in us via his good seed which is his word....Thus he is our 1st born ...our only son as Zech 12 : 10 mentions....There shall be a great mourning as when one is in bitterness for his 1st born...his only son...Thus he is truly our Son our 1st born when we are bornagain of his seed the word...The world has been in bitterness and in mouring for 2 k yrs for her 1st born her only Child the H.G.....The Child of Promise...Which is Christ in you....The Son of MAN...Which is mankinds fruit unto God... Romans 7 : 4 KJV

Dear Wendy. The expression "Son of man" is a Hebrewism, it simply means man, since what is born by man is a man. The same way " Son of God" simply means God, but often is used to literally mean Son of God, like in Jesus. Jesus was a man and God at the same time. GBU

Can you explain something to me, please? Throughout scripture, I run across "son of man" a lot. I always thought that it was Jesus in the flesh but I find it in other places as well. For example, Ezekiel chapter 8:1-18, among many of the other scriptures. Can you help me understand where I've misunderstood the phrase "son of man" throughout the bible?

Thank you and God Bless you.

    Ezekiel 8:10 Meaning and Commentary

So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping

    things

    As beetles and others, worshipped for gods: and abominable beasts;

    unclean ones; not only oxen, but dogs and cats, and other impure creatures; for such were the gods of the Egyptians, from whom the Jews took their deities: and all the idols of the house of Israel;

    which were many, even as numerous as their cities: portrayed upon the wall round about;

the pictures of them were drawn and placed around the wall of the room or chamber; and where they were worshipped by the PRIESTS and LEVITES, and members of the SANHEDRIN ; and this was not in one chamber only, but in many, as appears from ( Ezekiel 8:12 ).

Then the man in linen with the writing kit at his side brought back word, saying, "I have done as you commanded." ( Ezekiel 9:10)

Mishael: when the man in linen shows up, it is not good news. God told to open a secret passage; inside were detestable idols being worshipped by religious upperclass to the infants.

There are videos of secret chambers in the basement of the Vatican. One had the Pope in attendance of the tour. You can verify it yourself.

At this time, we have the Holy Spirit to guide believers in Jesus, away from cursed objects. I believe in fair judgment. Verify the expose'. If it's true, get far away from that. Cling to Jesus and the Word of God.

Jesus is the WAY, the TRUTH, the LIFE. There are no other escapes. As it shows in Ezekiel; no one can worship idols and "be in Jesus Christ."

We bear a responsibility to search out these stories ourselves.

Thank you for bringing this passage to Light.

    Hey Stephen,

This is not biblical it comes from the Roman Catholic Church; This is called the Assumption of Mary; she was crowned as the Queen of heaven. The Papacy has declared Mary immaculate (sinless). The Catholic Church has elevated Mary to the level of a mediator, Mother of God, advocate, and co-redeemer of humanity, and more that is not in the scriptures.

If we look back, we see another who had these titles, Semiramis the wife of Nimrod, whose name has changed, who started in Babel/Babylon, with her son Tammuz, after Nimrod's death, the start of Pagan idol worship that included consecrated prostitution. God delt with Israel about this, Ezekiel 8:14 Jeremiah 7:18 you can see more in Jeremiah 44. There is more we can see from the past, in the Old Testament, things that we should be aware of.

There is much more but may this answer your question.

    God bless,

This all probably began at the tower of Babel but could have been occurring prior to the flood.

Noah's descendant, Nimrod was worshipped as a sun god and his wife, Semiramis was worshipped as the queen if heaven. When he died she claimed to be impregnated by the rays of the sun. There child is Tammuz she claimed he was her husband come back to life.

In Ezekeil it describes a vision of women weeping over Tammuz and men having their backs toward the temple while worshipping the sun.

This is the worship of false gods, goddesses and sun god worship.

God calls these abominations He loathes them. Semiramis was considered the queen heaven and Tammuz was thought to be the reincarnated son of god, of his father Nimrod (Baal).

These pagans observed all these satanic rituals to appease their false gods.

These rituals involved sexual immorality, perversions, human sacrifice mostly children.

These pagan rituals is where we get most of our modern man made traditions of today.

The cakes that were baked to honor the queen of heaven were made round in the shape of the moon and they would put something on them (probably not candles) to make them glow, thus our tradition of b-day cakes.

Al this done under green trees( our modern day christmas tree) and these rituals involved every other abomination known to man they were committing

    Jeremiah 7: 18-(31)

    1:20; 3:6, 1

    Ezekiel 8:14; 16: 20; 36; 23:36-((37)39

    Hi Francis,

The queen of heaven the Israelites were worshipping was known to them as Astarte, Ashteroth, Asherah, or Ishtar. Originating in Sumer in the time of Nimrod, the queen of heaven was known as Inanna. When this idolatry traveled to Egypt after the Tower of Babel, she was known as Isis. Later, she was known as Eostre, (where we get our word Easter) Her festival was celebrated at the spring equinox. She was the goddess of fertility and of sexual love.

There also is the legend of that she was the mother or consort of Tammuz, who was "rebirthed" every December 25th. In Ezekiel 8:13-15, It is mentioned that the women were weeping for Tammuz. This is part of the way he was worshipped along with Ashtoreth. He was the sun-god, and she was the queen of heaven to rebirth him every year.

Not only must we be born again but read what Jesus said earlier in that same chapter. Water & Spirit are needed to enter the kingdom of God.We must read the Bible for ourselves. It's good to help one another but make sure it's truth. All of it. We must be lead by the Spirit or we are none of his. Romans 8. Speak to the Lord our God. Pray. Ask him. He will speak to you as he does to me. Do you hear him? We must know our God & obey the gospel or we won't enter in. Obedience + love is the key. Amen

Paula Roberts, Acts20:7 is the earliest pattern of meeting to break bread, the first day of the week, long before there was a vatican. An individual can worship God at any time, but the body of believers, gathered together, should follow the pattern established by the apostles and early disciples, seen here in scripture.

If you are influenced by Adventist teaching, it may be justification by works that is causing the pushback. Following the Bible is not the way to heaven, knowing Christ has paid for all your sins is the only way. If you ever think you can be good enough, that's wrong.

The Sabbath/rest for Christians is throughly discussed by Paul in Hebrews 3&4. In particular, Heb.4:11, that is, a rest from our efforts to obtain salvation by our own works. What are you going to offer to God, that would add to the work of his son on the cross??? To offer anything is to diminish his ability to save you by his grace.

Israel/the world, was under the law(a schoolmaster Galatians 3:24 & 25) to bring them to Christ. The Church is by grace. Romans 6 There are many so called churches that confuse the distinctions between Israel and the Church, Adventists being only one.

ALL the work of salvation was done by Christ. You are saved, if you believe/trust him alone. 1Cor.15:3&4, Romans 10:9,10,11

This subject has been dealt with a number of times & recently I've share a few points on this with one brother, Rodney, who also wanted to discuss the subject. So, if you're interested, you may find my response to him on Page 4 or 5 (about 2 days ago) on these 'Discussion' pages, rather my rehashing everything again to you.

However, I was also interested in your last comment: "since i have pointed this out i have been pushed back by my ministry." Are you saying that you presently attend a Fellowship which meets on a Sunday & your 'Sabbath' views are having an adverse effect on your ministry? If you are of the belief that it is wrong to worship on any day but the Jewish Sabbath, then you need to change Churches - I can't imagine that if I faced such a dilemma, how I would ever enjoy fellow-shipping with such believers. May the Lord help you to find peace on this matter & also to enjoy a fruitful ministry.
  • Paula roberts on Ezekiel 8 - 3 years ago
I wondered if this was referencing the fact that christians worship in his house on a sunday rather than the sabbath which is saturday . so worshipping sun gods in his house. I know this was changed by the vatican saying jesus rose on sunday. I did not know this untill a couple of months ago and i am ashamed of my ignorance . I have since spoken to people who are in the eventist church which seem to follow the bible more closely . I have always wonderd why we have not done the same! I hope the lord will forgive me for being fooled for such a long time i prey they will be forgiven it is a comandement after all that should not be broken! However since i have pointed this out i have been pushed back by my ministry.

The Temple of Solomon was destroyed and is not facing any direction today.

God the Father allowed Rome to give a message to those who rejected Christ and his sacrifice

in 70 AD when they invaded Jerusalem and destroyed the Temple. Thus fulling the prophecy of Jesus in Matthew 24 when he said not on stone would be upon another. Judaism as a religious practice with animal sacrifices ceased to exist.

The wailing wall is not part of the Temple, unless Jesus was a false prophet. I believe Jesus, not those who pray at the wailing wall. The wailing wall is part of an old Roman fort.

Matthew 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Using any other name than Jesus contaminates the word of God. Yes Easter is not in the Bible and it was first the Jews in the old testament doing this for SUNrise services in Ezekiel 8:16.
Mark 7:9 And he (Jesus) said unto (The Jews) them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.
Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
Matthew 1:25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.
Calling Jesus Yeshua or whatever spelling is a denial of the new testament scriptures.
  • Bob Hilt - In Reply on Jeremiah 10 - 4 years ago
Read Jeremiah chapter 10 as it was the Jews first celebrating so called Christmas long before Rome existed. Rome adopted this from the Jews who had rejected the scriptures sadly. That was why the Lord allowed Jerusalem to be destroyed in the Babylonian captivity.
This below covers the SUNrise services of easter I believe
Ezekiel 8:16 And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD'S house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the SUN sun toward the east.

Hello Lu2677, nice to hear from you again :) Deuteronomy 29:29; Matthew 6:4,6,18; Ezekiel 8:12; etc.. In Moses "the secret things" has to do with how the people would eventually be punished severely for forsaking the Holy Covenant, in light of their inward defiance and disbelief. The Lord teaches us about our religion being in truth in the inward parts. Ezekiel was shown their secret sinful minds.
