Omniscience is one of God's immutable attributes, which is to say, all knowledge of all things is an inherent part of His character and being. Nothing is outside of God's sphere of knowledge. The word "omniscient" is defined as having infinite awareness, understanding and insight; it is universal and complete knowledge.

God's omniscience means that He can never learn anything new. Nothing can surprise Him or take Him unaware. He is never blind-sided! You will never hear God say, "I didn't see that coming!" or "Who would have thought?" A firm belief in God's omniscience gives the Christ-follower extraordinary peace, security, and comfort in every area of life.

    Amos 8:12

And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.

    Job 2:2

And the LORD said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

    2 Chronicles 16:9

For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

God has knowledge of everything occurring at any given time. We ask, well why did He allow this and that to happen?!

He gifted us free will, to make decisions that glorify Him and not us. Glorify Jesus. Welcome the Holy Spirit to help us become more like Jesus.

We have technology to tell us daily what is happening all over the earth: weather, wars, economy, disasters, Everything.

As His children we ought to ask the Lord our questions and then leave it with Him. By reading the Bible, cover to cover, almost all of our questions will be answered. If you ask Him a question, be prepared to sit in silence before Him and, WAIT UPON THE LORD. Open up dialog with Him. Be willing to accept the no's with the yes's.

    Hi M.

Providing we're able to convince one there is a God by his creation,

    Psalms 19:1.

    Romans 1:19-20.

Perhaps here's a few of many verses that shows the God of the Bible is that God.

Genesis 13:14-15. And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward:

For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed (FOR EVER.)

As we know they went into captivity, And Ezekiel wrote from Babylon when the was desolate. They later returned and the land was left desolate again for over 1900 years.

May14, 1948. We see the "start" of

    Ezekiel 37:1-27.

    Ezekiel 20:42.

    Jeremiah 30:2-3.

    Jeremiah 31:17.

    Isaiah 43:5-6.

    Micah 4:6-7.

    Amos 9:14-15.

Ezekiel 36:23. AND I WILL SANCTIFY MY GREAT NAME, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I SHALL BE SANCTIFIED IN YOU BEFORE THEIR EYES.

    Jeremiah 16:14-15. Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be said, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

But, The LORD liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers.

Jeremiah 23:6-8. In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

    Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.

Once I started at Genesis, Psalms & Matthew reading in those 3. It was amazing the revelation revealed while reading old & New Testament together especially when one chapter like Psalms 22, & Luke 23,

It could have been better structured however. Maybe start with ,

    Genesis, John ,

    Exodus, Joshua, Hebrews,

Hosea, Song of Solomon, Ruth, Job, Tobit,

Psalms, Luke, just keep markers in each place, when jumping around.

    Judges

    1 Samuel, 1 Chronicles, 1 Kings, 1 Esdras, 2 Esdras,

2 Samuel, 2 Chronicles, 2 Kings, Ecclesiastes, Lamentations,

Letter of Jeremiah, Baruch, Judith, Prayer of Manasses,

    Deuteronomy, Susanna,

Daniel, Esther, Ezekiel, Revelations, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, Matthew, Jude,

Additions to Esther, Haggai, Obadiah, Nehemiah, Ezra, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah,

Jonah, 1 Maccabees, 2 Maccabees, Bel and the Dragon,

    Joel, Amos, Micha, Malachi

    Proverbs, Ecclesiastcus, Wisdom of Solomon,

Zechariah, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Mark, Acts, Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians,

    Galatians, Colossians, 1 John, 2 John, 3 John, 1 Peter, 2 Peter,

    Titus, Philemon, James, Philippians

    Hopefully this is helpful.

1 Timothy 4:10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the SAVIOUR OF ALL MEN, specially of those that believe.

1 Timothy 4:11 These things COMMAND and TEACH.

Does the doctrines of man believe Jesus is SAVIOUR OF ALL MEN, NO.

Does the doctrines of man TEACH Jesus is SAVIOUR OF ALL MEN, NO.

Amos 3:3 Can two walk together (BE ONE) except they be agreed?

Matthew 5:25 AGREE with your adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him: lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.

2 Thessalonians 2:10 And with all DECEIVABLENESS of unrighteousness in then that perish; because they RECEIVE NOT the TRUTH, that they might be saved.

2 Thessalonians 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie.

The lie, man's doctrine, that God is not a saviour of the world.

    Matthew 5:44 And I say unto you, Love you enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them that despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Matthew 5:45 That you may be children of your Father which is in heaven; for he maketh the sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just an unjust.

Do you believe God COMMANDS you to love your enemies, YET he is going to send his enemies to HELL.

Man LOVES the doctrine of HELL because that gives them freedom to HATE their enemies.

    Waline A Anthony,

In Genesis 6:4 it talks about the giants, "in those days; and also, after that", We see in those days and also after that we have giants (Nephilim). We see when Israel went into the promised land God gave them a command Deuteronomy 20:16-18. The word giant is Nephilim, which is also in Numbers 13:33, giants after the flood.

The question this raises is, who are the Nephilim and how did they survive the flood? Were these more fallen angels that created more giants? If the Nephilim were indeed half-human/half-angelic then it may explain the many ancient religious views after Babel with demi-gods (half man half god), but we do not find it clearly in scripture.

Also, in the Old Testament, there is the Rephaim (or Rephaites), and the context describes them as giants. The name of these people means "terrible ones" also, refers to departed spirits whose dwelling place was the abyss.

Here are some scriptures that may help your study, Joshua 12:4 2 Samuel 21:16 Also read Joshua 13, 15, 17, 18, 2 Samuel 21 and 1 Chronicles 20.

We do find giants of considerable size. Is there any scripture that tells us where these giants came from? There were not just one or two, but there were many. The descriptions of these giants appear much larger than 8-9 feet tall, a small number of people today.

    Numbers 13:33 Deuteronomy 2:19-21 Deuteronomy 20:17 Amos 2:9

Many struggles with there being giants but all over the world history records similarities of myths of giants, were they real? Whatever the case, there is the biblical evidence, plus written accounts outside of the Bible, that giants did exist.

Are the Nephilim and Rephaim the offspring of angels and human women that became demons and evil spirits after the flood that we see in the Bible? In the Bible there are angels which kept not their first estate, but left their habitation and are locked in chains of darkness until judgment.

Study for your conscience may this help, God bless.

Sister Christi, may CHRIST in us grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

You can NEVER do anything for God; YOU BECOME ONE WITH HIM, he is everything; SPIRIT, LIFE and TRUTH, he needs nothing or no one.

Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

He came To GIVE and TO DO everything; SPIRIT, LIFE and TRUTH, for us.

He doesn't do this because of who we are; he does it because of who HE IS, our FAITHFUL Father.

He is CREATING sons and daughters in HIS IMAGE; Spirit, Life and Truth.

Psalms 104:30 Thou sendest forth thy SPIRIT, they are created, thou renewest the face of the earth.

1 Peter 1:23 ....You are BORN AGAIN (created) by the WORD(S) (SPIRIT, LIFE and TRUTH) of God ....

Isaiah 63:9 In all their (creations) affliction he (Christ) was afflicted, and the angel (Christ) of his (the Father's) presence SAVED them (creation): in his (the Father's) love and in his (the Father's) pity he (the Father; through Christ, the angel of the Father's presence) SAVED them (creation); and he (the Father through Christ) bare them (creation), and CARRIED them (creation) all the days of old.

    BELIEVE

Philippians 1:29 For unto US it is GIVEN in the behalf of Christ (Spirit, Truth and Life), not only to BELIEVE ON HIM (Spirit, Truth and Life), but also to suffer (in the flesh) for his (name) sake.

1 Corinthians 4:7 For who maketh thee to differ from another (no one, we are all alike)? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive (nothing, all is a gift (given) of God)? now if thou didst receive (be given) it, why dost thou glory, as if thou didst not receive (be given) it?

Thus, we do "Know the order, and realize our place according to the grand scheme." = Today is GOD's PURE {Gospel Of} GRACE {Light} 'Offered' to all 'INDIVIDUALS,' and WHEN 'it ENDS' With HIS Great GRACE Departure {'Removing' ALL HIS 'ambassadors'}, only THEN Will Fall:

God's {OPPOSITE of GRACE} JUDGMENT In The Time of JACOB's TROUBLE {Tribulation, GREAT tribulation And Wrath in Woe, Dread, Terror, And DARKNESS}, for "ISRAEL And The UNbelieving Nations!"

Thus, question: Precious friend, WHY do you "DESIRE what is NOT our place according to the grand scheme"? ( Amos 5:18)

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

LORD JESUS, thank You so much for Your Precious BLOOD, Gift Of ETERNAL Salvation, And for Your Blessed Hope ofGlorification When You COME To Finally GATHER us HOME! Amen.

Sir, The question was asked a week ago regarding John ch 8 v 58:- when JESUS says : "Before Abraham was, I AM".

This verse is usually brought up when discussing the trinity doctrine.......but that is because the text is misunderstood...... NOT of its context....but of the speaker of it !!! ( John ch 1 is also misunderstood.)

This pure lack of Biblical knowledge ( Amos ch 8 vs 11-12 ?? ) has confused - and deflected church teaching through out the world.

The Bible is clear....JESUS is NOT claiming to be the "I AM " And the explanation is given in Deuteronomy ch 18 vs 15, 18 and verse 19 : (or John ch 1 v 18 JESUS will "DECLARE" the FATHER) which simply state that GOD will send His "Chosen One" (My Elect.) Is. ch 42 v 1 chosen from "amongst thee" ie. "of THY brethren" ACTS ch 2 v 22 says:- "Jesus of Nazareth, a MAN approved of GOD " -- who would speak GOD's WORDS ..! JESUS agrees/admits this in eg John ch 12 vs 49-50 and in John ch 14 and John ch 17 !!!!

JESUS SPEAKS FOR HIS FATHER, ALMIGHTY GOD....who begot JESUS. So much for a trinity ..( man's invention !!!) GOD IS "ONE" !!!! CREATOR ALONE ! ( even church creeds get that bit right !! ) rodd.

Brother Rick, We make thousands of choices every day, but the Spirit causes us to make those choices.

Jesus made choices everyday he walked in the flesh, but he knew his choices were all caused by the SPIRIT. I came to do the will of my Father (the Spirit). Of myself (without the Spirit) I can do nothing.

Coming to this truth is how we will be able to judge the world in RIGHTEOUSNESS with Christ. The Spirit causes us to judge as the Spirit causes Christ to judge. Can two walk together (be one) except they be agreed? ( Amos 3:3)

Philippians 2:13 For it is God (the Spirit) that WORKETH in you (creation, mankind) Both TO WILL (he cause his will to be your will) (he causes his choices to be your choices) and TO DO (the works he wants your labour to accomplish) his good pleasure.

Ezekiel 36:27 And I WILL put my SPIRIT within you, and CAUSE YOU to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my JUDGEMENTS, AND DO THEM.

Ephesians 1:11 In whom (in the Spirit) also we have obtained an inheritance (being ONE , IN AGREEMENT with the Spirit), being predestinated according to the purpose(THE WILL) (of the Spirit) who WORKETH all things after the counsel of his (the Spirits) own will (not our will).

Sister Dianne, God is SOVEREIGN. His will IS BEING DONE on earth as in heaven.

Jesus, Satan and all of God's Creation are ROBOTS. Everyone is fulfilling the WORDS THAT WERE SPOKEN BEFORE the foundations of the world.

God knows the end of all thing from the beginning of all things because he SPOKEN THEM INTO BEING.

Satan didn't have FREE WILL and REBEL against God, He is FULFILLING God words.

If GOD isn't doing everything through those he made, then he is not SOVEREIGN and is not GOD.

Hi Neumon. I believe you're referring to Isaiah 45:7 and Amos 3:6. Please correct me if you're thinking of other similar verses.

If we read those passages as given & understood, then we're liable to believe that the "evil" being spoken of in both verses is a moral or sadistic evil constructed by God. However, we must turn to the Hebrew to interpret that word. In both cases, the word for "evil" is from the same root word: Rah; and in both instances 'evil' is meant to imply 'calamity or adversity'.

So reading Isaiah 45:7: God both forms the light & creates darkness; if God chooses to remove the light, whether a physical light from the sun, we will have darkness. Or, He chooses to not give or prevent spiritual light coming to someone, then that mind lies in darkness (e.g. Ephesians 5:8, 1 Thessalonians 5:5).

Similarly, with "I make peace & create evil": God can choose to bring peace into a situation or within a person, or He can withhold that peace, & calamity or adversity prevails. So, when it says that God creates 'evil', it's impossible for an Holy God to bring out some evil from within Himself, when no such evil can even exist in such holiness. But God can remove light & peace for His Own purposes, thereby leaving distress & calamity.

Amos 3:6: in like manner, when a trumpet (of warning) is sounded, the people ought to be alerted & afraid of what's to come. If there is a calamity being struck in a city, shouldn't the inhabitants likewise be warned that maybe the Lord is trying to tell them something? Sometimes, not always, when we face an adversity or calamity in our lives, we need to seek the Lord's Face & examine our lives, lest there may be a word of warning from God for us. The Lord told Israel (through Amos) in verse 2: "You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities." Israel was greatly blessed, but they likewise also faced much warning & punishment for their sins & departure from God.

    Norman,

Take it with a grain of salt, then use a lot more salt to kill the lies. Of all the worlds space agencies that claim they've been to the moon, not one of them can produce a photograph of earth to prove it. Every picture we have from "space" of earth is a composite. All that $ and not one legitimate photo? Apollo not exceeding low earth orbit negates obtaining full earth shots. Govt's could resolve the flat earth charade, yet they choose division. Let's see Musk & Besos go to the moon, and take photos of the spherical earth before populating Mars. They reach for the stars and get taken down to the pit.

There are two primary views on the identity of the sons of God and daughters of men. They were godly descendants of Seth intermarrying with wicked descendants of Cain. The major support for this interpretation is Genesis chapter 4 describes the ungodly generations of Cain, and 5 is the godly Seth line and the righteous line of Seth.

Cain and Seth are both descendants of Adam and Eve so if the descendants of Cain's daughters were fair, so the daughters of Seth would also be fair so, godly vs ungodly would have to be the difference. Nowhere in scripture are the descendants of Seth called "the sons of God", but more as an adoption, "shall be my son" as Solomon and us today, who receive Jesus and are led by the Spirit of God are the sons/ daughters of God. ( 1 Chronicles 17:13) ( 2 Corinthians 6:18)

The other view is angels who left their first estate and mated with women. Angels are called sons of God in Job, ( Job 1:6) ( Job 2:1) ( Job 38:7). Some say angels can not mate because of what Jesus said in ( Matthew 22:29-30). But all through scripture angels take on human form, they eat and drink and if they left their first estate it is possible. Scripture does not give a lot about this; we have 1656 years from Adam to the flood in only 7 chapters of Genesis.

Scripture tells us there are devils, demons, and fallen angels but these angels are different they are locked in chains of darkness in the bottomless pit until judgment. ( 2 Peter 2:4) ( Jude 1: 6). The bottomless pit comes up in Revelation, another study.

Also mentioned are giants/ Nephilim/ Rephaim "in those days; and also after that", before and after the flood. Whether these were offspring of angels' scripture does not tell us. The description in scripture is clear these are not just tall people. ( 2 Samuel 21:16) ( Joshua 12:4) ( Numbers 13:33) ( Deuteronomy 20:17) ( Deuteronomy 2:19-21) ( Amos 2:9).

This is just a small amount of information, maybe it will get you started in your study.

Same Subject Different Week on Matthew 24

As you tire, so does the Lord: Amos 5:20-23

20 Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?

21 I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.

22 Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts.

23 Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.

It's always the same old story, different century.

    Good day brother John,

I enjoyed reading your reply and if I can't fit everything in this post I will make another to go along with it.

I'll start with this "Is it not GOD Who comes down, to open the Seals, as HE alone can do that, to call out HIS children for 1Thes.4:15-16?

How does GOD communicate with HIS children?

Deut.18:18; Amos 3:7 explain that, prophets, through whom HE, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, communicates.

As we're told that Christ, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Lamb of God, is the only one worthy to take, from God, and open, or even look upon, the book with the seven seals.

I believe I understand your perception of how God communicates with His children. Through the Spirit of His Son, or the Holy Ghost, with whom we have been blessed to receive when we gave our lives to the Lord. Him knowing our hearts and who is ready to receive the Spirit of Christ. Receiving the Spirit of Truth that shall help guide, and teach, us in all things to live for the will of our Father. If you meant anything else please correct me.

Before I get to the angel in Revelation 10 I would like to post something I perceive. As I have spent some time reading through the Scriptures, and others with views to this, I would like to bring up the Angel of the LORD in the OT. He is first spoken of in Genesis 16:7-13. As He is the one who stopped Abraham from slaying Isaac. Also as He is stated to be the one in the burning bush who spoke to Moses. As most of these accounts with Him also indicate Him as the LORD our God.

An account of an Angel that God warns them to obey because "my name is in Him". Exodus 23:21. My perception is that this may be(I say may as only God knows the Truth of this and is only my perception) the pre incarnate Jesus Christ.

Sorry about that, I just thought I'd put that in here. So back to the angel in Revelation 10.

    Will continue in next post:

    God bless you Richard.

Thanks for your response, and, yes, all answers must come from GOD.

We need assure we are not personally interpreting HIS Word, adding to, taking from or leveraging IT to fit any denominational teachings. Rev.22:18-19

Is it not GOD Who comes down, to open the Seals, as HE alone can do that, to call out HIS children for 1Thes.4:15-16?

How does GOD communicate with HIS children?

Deut.18:18; Amos 3:7 explain that, prophets, through whom HE, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, communicates.

There is only ONE GOD, and HE must stick with HIS WORD!

GOD included the seals, in our Bible, but they are still in mystery form, so HE, GOD comes down, again, Rev.10:1-7, to speak through a Biblically vindicated prophet, revealing what the meaning of the Seals is, getting HIS children ready for the rapture.

'Strait is the gate and narrow is the Way and few there be that enter therein'; and few will accept what GOD has done, is doing, here, today, repeating that horrific mistake Israel made, in their past, with the Gentiles fulfilling Heb. 6:6.

GOD is bound, by HIS WORD, to reveal all mysteries.

Israel again became a nation, in 1948, and are now looking for their Messiah, thus time must be exceedingly short.

Who comes down, in Rev.10:1-7, with a covenant rainbow on HIS head?

Scripture explains that, once that takes place, 'time shall be no more, (no more delay)' Rev.10:6

Jesus, our prophet Son of God, comes down in Rev.19, with the saints, not for them, which implies there is much misunderstanding about the Second coming, and those who are seeking HIM need turn to HIM, not dogma and interpretation of man, to comprehend what is taking place, for HIS children, today.

    Praise our LORD GOD!

Might be a bit of a challenge, Richard, and may our LORD bless you as you research what is said thus.

    1 Samuel 18:6

...... that the women came out of all cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet king Saul, with tabrets, with joy, and with instruments of music.

    2 Samuel 6:5

And David and all the house of Israel played before the LORD on all manner of instruments made of fir wood, even on harps, and on psalteries, and on timbrels, and on cornets, and on cymbals.

    2 Chronicles 5:13, 16 and 7:6

    It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying, For God is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD;

    Psalms 87:7, 68:25, 150:4

As well the singers as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs are in thee.

    Amos 6:5

    That chant to the sound of the viol, and invent to themselves instruments of music, like David;

    Habakkuk 3:19

The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief SINGERS on my stringed instruments.

    Genesis 30: 27-28

28 And he said, Appoint me thy Wages, and I will give it.

Comment: We live in different times. I think the members of the Church should praise the Lord as a group. Special songs should be free-will offerings. Sacrifice of Praise blesses God, as we see from scripture. He gave Israel victory over their enemies in battle, time after time.

However today, Churches are under pressure to hire professional bands and singers, which travel from church to church, and incur expenses.

You need to search this out, seek the counsel of your elders in your church. Discuss the budget. Also, do not neglect to teach the flock the power of Corporate Praise and Worship vs pew sitters. STAND and sing unto the Lord.

    Mishael
