It is only through unconditional "agape" love that we can truly "love our enemies; and do good to those who despitefully use us." ( Luke 6:27-28). It is; of course no benefit to manifesting sins so that we can later have a more dramatic testimony. God does; of course come to us "while we are yet sinners" ( Romans 5:8). We also need to be reminded of the exhortation in Ezekiel; even one sin disqualifies a rightous man ( Ezekiel 33:13). Note the man in that verse is TRUSTING in his own righteousness! These passages help to demonstrate the unity of scripture and that the God of the O.T. is the same today. There is no room for boasting; except in Christ ( Jeremiah 9:24; 1 Cor. 1:31). These passages also are stark warnings for those who have Godly examples; we are held more accountable and perhaps judged sooner than the world itself. We see this in the case of Nebuchadnezzar's progeny at the time of the writing on the wall; for example. In short; there are those who learn from chastisement who are His chosen; and others who only harden their hearts further; such as Pharaoh.
Matthew 5:25 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not thy whole body cast into GEHENNA (translated hell).
When Jesus was on earth Gehenna was the dump ground for Jerusalem where all the trash, garbage and bodies of dead criminals was dumped. It was on fire to DESTROY. Worms were there eating the dead flesh. As long as there was new fuel being dumped there, the worms never died nor was the fire ever quenched. It's a city park now, the is no longer worms or a fire.
Jesus was using Gehenna as an analogy, not something literal. If Jesus meant for you to take it literally, why aren't you missing eyes, hands and feet, that you have cut off and plucked out, to stay out of HELL.

Answer: The movie entitled The Sixth Sense stirred up a renewed interest in the ability to see "dead people," and/or communicate with the spirit world. Television shows titled Medium and Ghost Whisperer continue the trend. Is it truly possible to see the spirits of dead people? Is there such a thing as a "sixth sense" or "third eye"?
A sixth sense can also be described as ESP, or extra-sensory perception. Extra-sensory perception is the means by which we acquire information through any sense other than the five basic senses (sight, smell, taste, touch, and hearing) or other well-documented scientific physiological senses. Depending on one's culture and beliefs, a sixth sense can be attributed to anything from the spiritual to the technological.
Parapsychology addresses certain types of ESP-such as those possessed by psychics and mediums-including clairvoyance, telekinesis, and communication with the dead. The Bible makes it clear that these types of experiences should be avoided. We should not exercise any sort of spiritual abilities outside the realm of what the Bible deems acceptable, nor should we consult with anyone who does so.
If such a thing as a sixth sense or third eye truly exists, it is not of God. Those who claim to practice such abilities are either deceivers, self-deceived, and/or under the power of demonic forces. Leviticus 19:31 says, "Do not rely on mediums and psychics, for you will be defiled by them. I, the Lord, am your God." Consulting spiritists is foolish and angers the Lord ( 2 Chronicles 33:6). Acting as a medium or psychic was punishable by Death.
You need to stop doing this. It throws open a big wide door for demons to come I and make things happen.
