For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

But the LORD is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten.

And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.

Praise the Lord God Almighty. Thank you Lord for the Joy you give to your people; when we choose to call, and abide in You.

There was a great joy in Jerusalem, when they turned back to God and the LORD healed the people. So great was their Joy, in that they kept the feast going an additional 7 days. Glory to God.

Praise the LORD for His patient waiting for us to do the same here in our current situation regarding the Covid, economy, social, and political climate.

Let us be strong and call on the LORD for His goodness, grace, and mercies. October 25, 2021

    stiffnecked = stubborn, rebellious, sin

Exodus 34:9 And he said, If now I have found grace in thy sight, O Lord, let my Lord, I pray thee, go among us; for it is a stiffnecked people; and pardon our iniquity and our SIN sin, and take us for thine inheritance.

2 Chronicles 30:8 Now be ye not stiffnecked, as your fathers were, but YIELD yield yourselves unto the LORD, and enter into his sanctuary, which he hath sanctified for ever: and SERVE serve the LORD your God, that the fierceness of his wrath may turn away from you.

Acts 7:51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always RESIST resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.

    1 timothy 2:12-14

12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.

14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression

Paul is saying this because The woman was the first to be deceived. Seams pretty straight to me.

    God Bless

    Much Love

What was the proclamation of Hezekiah? And how we apply in our christian life?

In brook Kidron they threw everything that was not good but evil. Even in the days of Moses.

Dear Brother Steve morrow; O HOW FITTING THIS SCRIPTURE IS! If the Lord's priests who know these things would call assembly of the entire holy congregation of the LORD, old and young, men and women, and all the children and little ones, to come and stand before the LORD to seek His face in repentance; even to the very last second before Jesus comes; He would have mercy! But they in pride WILL NOT!

If we humble ourselves and repent and turn from our sinful ways, God will hear our prayers , forgive us and will help us in our time of need and if we give our heart to Him completely, we will be filled with the love and glory of God. Come to your God through his son , The Lord Jesus Christ

Lane; You are so right! That's one reason we don't go to church! They want another Jesus and another gospel that is easier for the world to relate to, and to protect them from persecution. It was said by Isaiah the Prophet, "And her merchandise and her hire shall be holiness to the LORD:" The spirit of fornication and covetousness has turned their hearts and sears their conscience with a hot iron.

Douglas (cont.); I don't at all mean to discourage you, Brother; but I think we should still be realistic about the kind of times we now live in. Hezekiah was a godly man who surrounded himself with good men and Prophets of the LORD. It appears that it was a time (however short-lived) when there was some softening of the hearts of the people, which then complimented the king's good intentions.

I do believe that we as Christians have left out the part about hell and judgement. I'm not saying that we should not honor God by music and praise but if it looks like the world, sounds
like the world and conforms to the world then how will the world see Jesus?

Terrie; I too love to read the stories about the righteous kings and what they did. But we have to understand a fundamental difference between today and ancient times. The people then were under absolute subjection to the king until they were able to violently remove him; there was no such thing as protests and individual freedoms like we grew up with. The people did what the king ordered, PERIOD!

Douglas; How exactly do you think that this Country can just do that? I know its a very popular idea to tell everyone, "Just come as you are;" and then they come and fill up mega churches to "celebrate." But excuse me; celebrate what? And how do they think that God can simply toss away all His virtue and holiness and standards of a good character, merely to please the multitudes? For the tithing?
  • Douglas on 2 Chronicles 30 - 6 years ago
Makes me ask the question for all of us, Are we prepared? We have the Bible, old and new testament. The Bible has all the answers. Are we prepared? Second, I see a Revival happening in verses 25 26. even strangers coming to listen celebrate! Beautiful. Finally, Sanctification. Yes. We need it. Learn more about it! Many blessings to Hezekiah for his prayer of mercy for those not sanctified! Amen!!!

It is great to praise the Lord. Hezekiah led Judah and Israel to praise the Lord and it was delightful in God's sight.

Verse 27: Jehovah God's place of dwelling, the heavens, is a holy place. We must measure up to his holy standards and remain holy in order to stay close to him.

I'm always holding my breath when I begin to read each chapter to see what the king is going to do, when I find out that those kings like Hezekiah served he Lord GOD with all their heart and the people did too, it makes me feel so wonderful that I breathe a sign of relief! then I think about all of the other kings who did evil before GOD and caused the people to do likewise, it grieved my heart.

In verse 9, if the people returned to God then He would be there for them.

It truly is a Blessing to read the word of the Lord and learn about all that has taken place in the pass so we make not make the same mistakes our fro-fathers have made. My heart feels better every time I read from the scriptures thank my brothers and sisters for putting this out.

The revelation i recieved was,Santifacation. How the priest didnt partake of the passover because they werent santified and neither did the people because the didnt gather in Jerusalem. It brings me to say,How essential it is to santify yourself before partaken in any Holy thing, nevertheless, God pardon the people because of the man of God, Hezekiah prayed for them.God is a merciful God but we should not take his mercy for grated because he is also a God of wrath ,and Who can stand before a God of vengence?!!!
