The God of hosts, is in control over all nations. A covenant was given to the people of Israel to follow and obey. This covenant is for all generations to come. It is written for us also, our generation. Verse 15, it declares, this covenant it is neither with you that I make only which standeth here today, but also with those who are not here today, which means us, the future generation.

Verse 25~When the nations saw the plagues that befell the Israelites, they were to know it was because of their own failings and not some shortage on the part of Jehovah God.

Oh what a great lesson that is! Our Father is good to all BECAUSE HE IS GOOD! We are to learn from the Lord Jesus Christ everything we need to grow up into that man or woman that Our Father in heaven ever wanted us to be. It was always His desire, and always His plans, in all His dealings with us; when we didn't know Him, and now that we're just learning to know Him: He is high above little minds.

Verse 5: This shows what great concern that Jehovah God had for his people even though they disobeyed him. He made sure their clothing and their shoes did not wear out.

There was never a servant of the LORD like Moses, nor was there ever anything like all that the LORD did with Israel during Moses' lifetime; yet with the very wisest and most powerful words of truth, and all the mighty works of power, the people would still not repent, that they might believe in the LORD. Knowledge and understanding comes together with a tried proven character in faith and virtue.

"Ye have seen all that the LORD did before your eyes in the land of Egypt unto Pharaoh, and unto all his servants, and unto all his land...Yet the LORD hath not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day." How is it, that for the time that the word of Christ has been among the Nations, that there is to this day such ignorance and error in the things of Christ?
  • Vivian for verse 2
At this point Moses was reminding the children of Israel the wonders of God and how God single handedly fought for them.
GOD known everything and the things that he lets us know is for me and my generation for ever everything he says he will do it

The point is as Jesus said with man salvation is impossible but with God all things are possible St Paul confirms this when he writes For as we work out our own salvation with fear and trembling it is God who works in us both to do his will and good pleasure The restoration of God s kingdom on earth is the salvation of the world It is 100 the work of God Its universal for all men regardless of what men believe or do

Moses is talking about the New Covenant here Its different from beside the Old Covenant that was made in Horeb Sinai the ten commandments In the New Covenant God makes a vow to change men s hearts to cause them to walk in his statutes and he will accomplish his vow as per Ezekiel 36 26 27 In the Old Covenant Man makes a vow that he cannot keep due to his ignorance

This verse however doesn't mean that we should not probe into the hidden meaning and morals behind the deeper aspects of events in the bible.
