1 When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house. Jesus didn't even believe in this verse.

Right, God's word doesn't contradict itself, yet the New Testament does, why? Because it's a book that is a product of Freemasonry. The name of our redeemer and savior is, "The Lord of HOsts," as it's stated in Isaiah 43, and so forth in the Old Testament. Not "Jesus Christ", realie that and take heed. It's your choice. Jesus Christ can be considered a graven image, and it is by God. Wake up
  • Janie verse 4 on Deuteronomy 24 - 4 years ago
Despite hearing and reading God's word I remarried. While in the second marriage, I realized how I had sinned. I remarried because I was saying to the Lord Jesus that I did not trust him to take care of me as a single woman. My actions said that I did not believe everything in the Bible. Maybe, without realizing it, I may have said to the Lord I do not Love you. I had to repent. Forgive me Lord.

Verse 19~The ability to glean was a loving provision from Jehovah God. It really allowed those who were in need not to have to beg and to be able to go out and gather food for themselves and their family.

Verse 14: This principle can be applied in regards to how an employer should treat his or her employees.

V7, at first glance this may seem like death for kidnapping a Jew and using him. However brethren can mean workers of the same profession. Jews worked among and with Gentiles.
This could reference what they consider inequitable business practice.

Deut.24:4 and Jer.3:1; They 'seem' contradictory, and even hypocritical, but God's word does NOT contradict itself. So, we read Isa.1:18 and we pray for His guidance into the sense of them. WE know God took His whoring people back time and time again. So, there is a reasonable explanation for these 2 verses. What it is - I don't know and it's not that important to me.

Deut 1- 4 means excatly what it says. The woman cannot divorce the husband, according to the law, which is why it says the man hand her a bill of divorce and send her out. If she marrys again she has become defiled, its the same as adultry, basically in The Most High words their is no divorce you are techically married until death or by being defiled. Willful sin and you wont enter the kingdom.

I am speaking on verse 4 in this chapter this means if u devorce your first huband and get married to another man this is telling us u may not go back to your formal huband because now u have defiled your self with another man .so a lot of women have defiled them self.now if the women had separate from her huband and had not slept with another man then she could return to her huband Amen

Sherry, John 1:17 says, For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. Ro.8:2 says, For the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus hast made me free from the law of sin and death. Therefore, by the death of Jesus Christ and the grace of almighty God through Jesus your marriage is legitimate in God,s sight. Glory be to Jehovah through our Lord and savior
    Jesus Christ

Does this mean, in plain english, that a man or woman should not remarry their x if they slept with another person after the divorce because they are now defiled?

(This is my response to Michael's comment dated 2/27/2013 at 11:14am on Deuteronomy Chapter 24):::: Genesis 2:24, "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh".. Therefore, it's NOT biblical for anyone to have a newly married couple living separately in two different houses.. In Matthew 5:19, "Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
  • James on Deuteronomy 24 - 10 years ago
