Wesley's Notes for Deuteronomy 2:10

2:10 The Emims - Men terrible for stature and strength, as their very name imparts, whose expulsion by the Moabites is here noted as a great encouragement to the Israelites, for whose sake he would much more drive out the wicked and accursed Canaanites.

The Lord Jesus will do Just what he said .he is the only one we can Trust while we live here on the Earth we are not of this world we are visitors here to do a work for the Lord Jesus and when we have done our work he will call us to our real home in Heaven that why we can give our problems to the Lord while we are her and Jesus will hear us when we call on him he will answer us

Vs. 33-34; it's the same with the Ishmaelite descendants who worship Allah; their children are taught the way of Allah, BUT if they are killed BEFORE the age of reason, knowing the truth - they are with God forever. It's the same with all children that too young to understand. When you see a photo of a child holding a gun - you know he is 'aware' of what he is doing, that a gun is for killing.

Eric. I wondered this same thing but after praying and asking and searching, I feel that it is because when those children grow up, they will come back trying to take the land from God's people.

Love reading this book in the bible. I thrill reading the accounts of God 's word and instructions given to the people. It 's like being there. And, although written hundreds of years earlier than today, knowing this is the same God, who became flesh so we could receive salvation is both awe inspiring and Instills a Godly fear in my heart. How amazing to think God loves His Creations! That includes people. However, God hates sin and will not share the same space with it. He would that none should perish, but that all people would come repent from sin to Him. Amen
