After study this is what I believe is described in Daniel. The image in the dream is of a fighter jet, the F-22 (please find out a photo online). The super bomber American F-22 Raptor, a photo of it in flight needs to be seen. How would you describe this warplane if you were living in the past and had never seen a plane? The head is gold (F-22 dome is infused with real gold). The arms are silver. The two circular/diamond shapes by the nose cone described as "breasts" are silver colour. The F-22 in flight with the bottom section open, this "belly" colour is bronze colour. The "feet" of the plane (no one had seen rubber in this ancient time) might be described as iron clay (malleable clay). "A stone was cut out without hands, which struck the image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them to pieces. Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold, were together broken into pieces, and they became like chaff on the summer threshing-floors; and the wind carried them away, so that no trace was found of them: and the stone that struck the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth" Daniel 2:34-35. The Stone = nuclear missile and the mountain is a great nuclear mushroom cloud. The nuclear fallout covers the world via jet-stream.

GOD as demonstrated his power; and control of all situation; using the power of GOD; DANIEL was able to save many people from being killed; his praying to GOD, assures us that he answers prayers, and delivers. And Daniel shows what we can do; by having faith in GOD all things are possible, and there is none other.

Daniel 2:43 proves Genesis 6, there is no new thing under the sun, also makes the genocide of the Old Testament more likely.

God is indeed awesome, in that He could reveal such a dream to Daniel.God is the true and living God and none can ever compare to is glory.

Daniel is greatly loved by God, and therefore the vision is given to him in the night. God knows what is in the dark, and he reveals the light. The head of gold is the kingdom of Babylon; the silver is the kingdom of the Medes and Persia; the brass is the kingdom of Greece under Alexander the great; the iron the Roman Empire, and the iron with clay the revival of the Roman Empire known as the EU today. The Lord Jesus is the Stone that will brake into pieces the image because iron, and clay cannot mingle together because it is partly strong as well as weak. Jesus is the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords. His Kingdom will last forever. Be wise kings kiss the Son less he be angry, for God sets up kings, and removes them. God changes times, and seasons. We have BC and AD the Lord Jesus split the time into two at his first coming being the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world. When he comes the second time he will be the lion of the tribe of Judah who will take the title deed to this world from the devil when he sets up his eternal Kingdom. Praise God that he reveals secrets to his servants, and we will reign with him when he comes again.

Chp. 2 vs 11 are comments the Chaldeans made to King Neb. The Chaldeans did not worship the only true God. One of the purposes of God in bringing Israel to Babylon was for them to show their knowledge of the true God. Israel's history was an instruction of the only true god, in order for a people of God to stand on the earth in the presence of pagan people's that God ruled in the earth and heaven!

just to have the Faith and Believe that Daniel showed, what an awesome thing. Please Lord give me just some of Faith and help me to get stronger in You

It is clearly noted that God is in control of everything and has a purpose for everything, Daniel had condifent in God , enough to know that God was never going to fail HIm. The statue represents the different kingdoms that were going to pass and the one that is going to be establish at the End which is the one of our God allmighty. He will come for secong time and restore His kingdom. Praise God , for He his love endures forever.. Blessings

I echo Craig's comment. We are not living day to day randomly. God has a program, and it is being played out, year by year, month by month and day by day. All honor, glory and praise to God our Father, to our Lord Jesus Christ and to His Holy Spirit.

Well what I,v understood is that Daniel has revealed the kings dream to him and the king knew that Daneils revalation was true.

And so we interpret the dream as being manifest in the tragedies of the day. The stone has been cut from the undersea mountain and the blood of our Mother Earth runs freely to the ruin of all we know.

The reference here to "the gods" clearly shows that the Jews recognised the existence and authority of divine beings other than Yahweh, which is in keeping with Judaism's roots in pagan polytheism.

Great is the mystery of Godliness. Here we see the omnipotent and omnicient God of heaven revealing to his servants, the sequence of world events which will ushur in the reign of the millennial kingdom. Why give such a precious vision to such a tyrant king Nebuchadnezzar? Simple, to allow mankind to know that the God of heaven rules in the affairs of men. Be not deceived, our day to day lives are not progressing in some random uncontrolled order of chaotic events. On the contrary, we are living by God's design that will climax in perfect synchronization to Nebuchadnezzar's vision when the stone that is cut out of the mountain shall crush the image of world kingdoms and "The kingdoms of this world are become [the kingdoms] of our Lord, and of HIS CHRIST; and he shall reign for ever and ever. To God be the glory.
