To receive Spiritual understanding,Knowledge of His Word and Wisdom is to be in His Word Only,a Church that Believes the same Telling Others what Christ has done and how they can be Saved. All this with Prayer: The Growth will be Amazing! We are The Light in this World. Without The Spirit you can never Learn---!?
Felicia (continuing); I found certain prayers in the Epistles of Paul, and in the Psalms, that were specifically asking for understanding and spiritual knowledge. I kept praying these prayers every day, for I don't know how long; and tried my best to meditate on the meaning as best I could. I found the answer came quite natural (in a godly sense) as through time, experience, maturity and proving.
Hi Felicia; Your request is almost word-for-word to what Paul wrote in several of his Epistles; and I was taught a long time ago, that the prayers in the Bible were written for our benefit, and for us to use them. That makes sense, because it was the Holy Spirit who inspired them, and we want God's thoughts on how to pray! Look in Philippians, Colossians, Ephesians, and Psalm 119, for starters.
Bruce; it seems that every time someone has an honest question, your answer is like a cookie-cutter response; "are you saved? how did you get saved? etc..." Why don't you think a little harder on the questions being asked, and see if you really have something substantial to offer; instead of immediately casting doubts and suspicious insinuations? Knowledge and transformation is not automatic!

Tell others what He has done and how they can be Saved by The Blood of The Lamb. Go to a Church that believes the same. Deborah, how beautiful is the Holy Spirit inside us to teach us the Word of God. But without faith it is impossible to please him : for he that cometh to God must believe that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrew 11:6, we have to keep studying the Word. Romans through Philemon teach how to study the Word of God. Apostle Paul explain it well. God bless you....

In full essences of Colossians, the Father has brought us in full circle back to HIMSELF! He gave apart of Himself through Christ Jesus. In doing so we come to a place of recognizing JESUS as the Son of God, therefore we humbly come before the throne of grace and recognize what JESUS did for us on the cross and after the cross. God has brought us back to HIMSELF. Our relationship is now with Him.

As long as we are not becoming as a little child....we will not enter the Kingdom We are not even succeeding to Love one another, our enemies....The basic things Jesus tried to teach us , but we didn't want to obey....we want to do our own thing and first want to know hairsplitting things that are not so important at the moment, The most important things......to Love we don't even know anymore, we prefer to do the opposite..... Fools are we and we know the Peace that we want for the world will not come, until our Lord and Saviour comes back for a second time ........We get upset because we don't know if God creates everything?? How important is that?? We will know this when the time is there and we have first learnt what is the most important thing at this moment, while there's soo much hate around us and we're fooled by so-called pastors, preachers that are not even able to lead their flocks and are not preaching the Words of Jesus, but their own thoughts.... Let's try again to look at the Words of Jesus, the basic things that He thought us and try to start a pure relationship from our hearts with Him and then The Holy Spirit, our teacher that He left us, will teach us ALL THINGS!! If we're ready to receive it!!
I have experienced much wickedness in helping others around me since my life was gifted back to me, an angel warned me about the feiry darts. It is hard to be nothing but forgiving sometimes without HIS help!

Jennifer, you are correct. Also this scripture is saying that Jesus Christ is and was truly God in the human body. John 1:1 In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God. The Son part of the holy Trinity. Jesus accepted worship from men on earth. Phil. 2:6 Being found in the form of man he thought it not robbery to be equal with God. Glory be to God in the highest.
Abel, Jesus said, ".... write: These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God: ......." Rev.3:14. Jesus is the the beginning of God's creation. Which creation does he refer to? It is the new creation, of which Jesus is the firstborn from among the dead. Jesus is the head of the body of Christ, the new creation, made up of all his brethren.
My Lord is faithful to love me even when I don't deserve and faithful to forgive me. These words inspire me with hope to carry on throughout the day when discourage begs me to quit. Thank You Lord! No shame for those who believe in Your name.

I can't forgive myself because of fleshly sins that i committed. But the verse tells me how i was forgiven by the LORD. It reminded me that the basis is the precious blood of CHRIST Jesus my Saviour and LORD. Praise the LORD.
I'd not recalled this verse when a long ago friend who'd told lies back-stabbed me contacted me after 20 years to say he's a different person now- and a born again Christian- and asked me to forgive him. As I have the ultimate example from 2,000 years ago, I did. My best friend said I'd let him off too easy... but with Christ as example, the Lamb Of God, how could I NOT forgive completely? I'm glad I did, as this friend again was honest about accepting Christ into his life, and I would've been dishonest in my faith not to forgive! A most wonderful verse indeed!
I have been bought back. I am a purchased possession. I belong to Jesus Christ : His shed blood has forgiven me and cleansed me from all my sin. How Great love the Father hath bestowed upon me !! As He has forgiven me , so should I forgive those that are indepted to me. Before they ever have done anything. I was forgiven over 2000 years ago , before I was ever thought of in this world.
Only the blood of Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior saves. Yet, one MUST be willing to submit, repent, confess there sins to GOD, and LOVE GOD with a true HEART to forgive.
The doctrine of Christianity is hinged on a tripod of love, hope and faith. It is essential that we build our lives on these three legs for the peace of mind, the treasures of the earth and the world to come. It would appear that earthly greed and corruption of most of our political leaders today who aren't following this doctrine, have created the strife and uncertainties in our world today.
