    An article on Free will.

    God, Freedom, and Evil

1 God is a personal being because an impersonal force is an insufficient agent to create personal beings.

2 What is the greatest passion of personal beings? I would argue that, above all else, personal beings desire personal relationships with other personal beings. So it makes sense that God, as a personal being, would desire to create us in such a way that He could have a meaningful, personal, and loving relationship with us. But this has a severe price.

Let us consider the nature of love and its consequences. I cannot experience love from you unless you have the capacity to do otherwise. If you have the capacity to not love me, and you choose instead to love me, then that choice has validity. It has meaning. You cannot have a love relationship with a computer. It is pre-programmed to serve you. Love requires choice: unencumbered choice. And that's where the problem lies.

When God created mankind, He too had a choice. If He created us as beings that were pre-programmed to follow and serve Him, there could be no love. But, if He created us with the capacity of choice, the capacity to love and serve Him, and the capacity not to do so, then there is the possibility of relationship: the possibility of real love. As a personal being with the capability of creating us in the first place, it makes sense that He would want to create us as personal beings with the capability of choice (free will) and, thus, the capability of love. But where there is choice and the capability of love, there is also the capability to choose wrong and to do great evil.

Some say we are vessels and have no free will and have no life. They contribute all the wrong doing in the world such as murdering kids, rape, the evil war in Ukraine and the many other wars throughout history to God not the prince of this world "Satan" They say Satan doesn't exist!! They say God has done all this evil and falsely uses God's word to build their case.

Pt.3) Gen 22:17 Gen 22:18 America's constitution was framed from common law and established one nation under GOD; Early on in this great republic we were very religious and you would be hard to find anyone not quoting or turning to the WORD of GOD for answers. Christianity is not a religion or idea but a way of life. GOD promised Abraham that his seed would be as numerous as the sands of the sea, where are they? GOD didn't lose them but man has lost his ancestry. In approximately 711 B.C. Shalmaneser (king of Assyria) invaded Israel the 10 northern tribes and took into captivity and then they scattered, and we read in 2 Kings 18: 11-12. History: You can search this history for yourself if the revisionists don't change it first; the important thing that we need to remember is that, 10 northern tribes of Israel were taken captive by Assyria because of their idolatry and disobedience to GOD; they were placed in the area of the Caucasus Mountains to the North of their Homeland. There were only a handful, mainly elderly remained but most went over the Caucasus Mountains scattered across Europe and became known as Caucasians. The name Caucasian has remained as part of their identity ever since that time. Another one of GODs promises if they didn't obey HIS laws that they would be scattered throughout the world. They rejected GOD and GOD always does what HE says HE will do. There has nor will be a nation like USA with just 240 years become super power of super powers where peoples all over the world beg, barrow, steal risking their lives to get here. When we fallowed GOD we were blessed but when we don't HE will leave us to wallow in our calamity that we alone have allowed to happen. Is. 18: Tells us of a land where ambassadors come to from all over the world. U.S.A. United Nations set up in New York: Deut. 8:7-20 written by inspiration from GOD to Moses around 1452BC speaking of this great land as long as we keep GOD's commandments we will be blessed.

    Are you always saved?

Can u should me this in the bible?
  • Ronnette on Romans 11 - 1 year ago
Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: KJV 1 Corinthians 15:1-4

Do you guys believed in vain? Jesus died for us all. He did put Himself like a lamb in the slaughter. He shed His blood for us all sinners once and for all. All we need to do is trust, believe, and have faith in Him. Nothing of anything you human can possibly do to save you from your sins. Not any of your good works. Not any of animal sacrifices can forgive any human sins.

So any of you "do gooders" out there if you do not understand the wisdom and knowledge of what "not of yourselves lest any men should boast" means, I would highly suggest to pray and fast for the Holy Spirit to come in to your heart.

Remember you know you are saved when you forget about "yourself". You are a new man with Christ in You. It is no longer what you do. It is what God tells you what to do. How do you know? You will know because the Holy Spirit is in you. If you do not know, it means you test your Spirit. God has given you the most gracious gift you ever received in your entire life on earth. Would you take it or not? He gave you free will. It is the free gift from God. All you need to do is claim it through faith, by believing and trusting on What Jesus did on the cross-shedding His own blood to save you in order to have an everlasting life. And live in the Kingdom of God here on earth.

So get over yourself. We are nobody. We are all sinners. We need God. You cannot live without God's guidance. We are all servants of God. The good news is God knows what you need. Be saved!

So has God preselected the ones who are to be saved through Christ? Then, what does our faith in Christ Jesus do for us?

    [ Acts 2:17-20 and,

    Matthew Chapter 16:1-4

1 The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came [neither of which, believing in the "caught up in the clouds" ]

Mishael comment: we cannot predict the Rapture, by selected and separated passages. Jesus said ONLY the Father knows. If we understand the procedure of the Bridegrooms father's preparations for a son's wedding to his espoused bride; can we understand the moment the Bridegroom is released to bring the bride to the wedding. This is the focus.

It's not on world wide social and national violence and threats of wars.

We are given many Bible passages (OT and NT) to read the signs and share the acceleration of those signs. We cannot move Gods hand.

We are a generation of watchmen. Watching for what? the approach of enemies. Satan WANTS to deceive, kill, steal and destroy.

To turn our focus TO social violence and freedoms removed; fears we will miss the "rapture of the CHURCH." Memorize Jesus's teaching on the Ten Virgins parable.

The earth, nations and land, will see the beginning of

    2 Peter 3__even now.

That's why I've said "the Green Deal" is the ONE WORLD RELIGION" that will unite unbelieving people on earth.

Gods promise to people is that those who trust implicitly in Him; will see the total restoration of Earth, by God the Creator (no others).

Sad to say this, but E. Musk cannot save earth, nor plant colonies of people on Mars. He is not a believer. Pray for him.

THE Bible provides signs and events that will occur. They do not predict timing. Gods timing is not like man's.

The Thief comes not at noonday. He comes in the blackness of night. Sin thinks blackness of night covers it's deeds? Not so.

Let us go through the Bible and gather the signs Jesus gave us.

Christians, vote for the FRUIT of righteousness. Not empty promises. Use righteous judgment; not wistful hopes.

If we do not read our Bibles we may be the 5 VIRGINS with no oil in our lamps. Selah.

    The Call of Jeremiah

GOD calls Jeremiah, Son of Hilkiah the priest. He began to prophesy in the thirteenth year of Josiah's reign ( Jer 1:2). It was a surprise to hear the calling of God. God has degrees for every child that is yet to be born. Doesn't these words of the LORD give us assurance?

"Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations." Jer 1:5

"You're not what you think you are. You're what GOD degreed you are."

    AKR

Trust GOD. Don't confuse about the calling of the LORD. You have to know for sure, that the gifts calling of the LORD are Irrevocable. He is the GOD who is unchanging. It is the whole duty of every Christian to share the whole Gospel with everyone next to him that lost and dying in sin. It is not promised Christians a persecution-free Earth. But do not be anxious. Even if we get questioned by Kings (/officials) of the Earth, our LORD shall put in our mouth what we must answer. The whole world follows the path of sin such as corruption, promiscuity, adultery, homosexuality, abortion, idolatry, pride, etc., The whole world disobeys God's moral law. We as Christian must stand for the truth.

"It is not politically correct to tell others of sin but it is Biblically correct to stand for the truth and expose light on sin's darkness." David Burnette #Jer2

"God chooses people based on their willingness to serve obediently, not based on their ability to perform perfectly." Christian Busse

Who is the Son of man who was made the "watchman"? Have you noticed that Ezekiel 3:17-19 is repeated in Ezekiel 33:7-9?

The Son of man is Jesus Christ based on Matthew 26:24, Mark 14:21, and John 12:34.

Just what to confirm my understanding on these verses.

    Thank you.

    Psalm 52-54 (?)

"God looked down from Heaven upon the children of men to see if there is any who did understand (were wise) and seek Him."

He looked for any that did "good" and found no one. No; Not one

They had all gone back to their ways and doing abominable works.

In Mark, Chapter 15, Verse 1, a group known as the Chief Priests were mentioned. I would like to know, what group of people made up the group known as the Chief Priests? Who were they . where did they come from, how did they wield so much power as to sway Pilate?

  • Katherine on Job 6 - 1 year ago
Job 6:14 To him that is afflicted (troubled physically or mentally no matter the circumstances around the affliction) then pity should be shown to that friend. What is pity? Sympathetic sorrow should be shown to a friend. . . .But, he forsaketh (to renounce or turn away from entirely) the fear (profound reverence and awe especially toward God) of the Almighty.

I think this verse is trying to tell us to show sympathetic sorrow and understanding towards a Christian friend, and understand that those "troubles" are caused by not keeping reverence and awe toward the Father. Looking back on my life, I can see how I've missed it.

    Are you seeing clearly?

Seeing clearly, is what He gives to those who love Him. A clearness that is unobtrusive, that speaks without words, that moves mountains in the midst of its universe!

A clearness that will be given freely, unto you who may receive it!

Much like riding in the countryside, seeing the tributaries that flow, crystal clear, moving too their appointed places!

This clear water that flows into everlasting life, giving all it is for itself , a true and everlasting life!

This one who has gone before us, His strength that becomes ours , as we begin to see Him as He is, even more clearly!

His clearness will remove imperfections that are in the way. The mote in your eye, it will be gone, and you will see Him as He is!

This is His way. He is the way!

Can you see Him without this cleansing? It must come from Him ,flowing from Him ,into its appointed place!

This life is yours and given to those who will receive it.

Touch the hem of His tunic, Watch Him as He turns to see you. Do you see Him, and only Him? If so, you are seeing clearly!

Let not your heart be troubled!

Jesus is telling the disciples that they know the way that He is going. A place of preparation, "mansions for himself and them"! For all who believe!

These words are the prelude of the questioning hearts of Thomas and Phillip.

Jesus, is looking into the heart of those who are yet unsure of who CHRIST is. This it seems is the way of the Lord. He knows the question that you have before you ask it.

Is this the way for you and I? Are we asking to see God? Are we asking to show us the Father? Or are you asking how is it possible for me to know the way?

How in this world can these things be that Jesus say's belong to us?

Even after all the experiences these men have seen and heard, there is still the question that continues to plague these two. Not only these but Peter also, who will deny Him.

Thomas wants to know the way. We know Thomas heart, only because of what will happen when Jesus tells Him to put his hand into his side and touch the holes in his hands.

Phillip, still wondering who Jesus is, when He says "show us the Father". Phillip has gone adrift without the memory of Him and Nathanial under the fig tree, when Jesus said He had seen them together under it ?

Christ knows the heart , He knows because He is as you and I. He came in the flesh so you might know that He is!

That Jesus is the way, and that if you have seen Him ,you have indeed seen the Father!

These are the conditions necessary to pave the way that will lead you to the comforter! This comforter will solve your questions as you feel the holes in His hands ,a put your hand into His side, while asking anything in His name and He will do it!
