does God heal or not? i broke my arm not too long ago, and he healed my arm. if someone has surgery for appendix, chances are pretty good that he will recover.....gallbladder surgery etc. those things will heal, but not your cancer or your asthma or your blindness. i do not understand this, and it is creating problems in my faith.
what are promises of healing for? people say, oh he will be healed in the next life....well i hope so! we don't need the promises for the next life now do we? healing in Heaven is pretty much a given. and if the healing promises are not meant to work in this life then what about the others? are they for the next life too?
i want someone to tell me, are we to look to God for healing? or not waste our time? i will tell you, He has saved my life more times than i can tell you in many different ways. but then i was not asking. bc they just happened and had happy endings, but now i am asking him, for this is serious (well many of the others were as well) and suddenly
i don't trust that he will save me this time
ty for what it's worth to you, yours is my favorite site (maybe my answer is in my question. i am so confused)
A (supposed) pastor on here quoted several scriptures which he professed use the word kanabus (cannabis) Genesis, Jeremiah & others. I believe he was quoting from the Hebrew Bible, but none the less he is convinced that Cannabis was used by the very long lived Bible men; Moses, Noah and others presumably because of their use of Cannabis for health issues.
Is there any truth to this?
He stated his wife's severe pain was virtually eliminated after regular use of Cannabis.
In light of innumerable stores opening in the past few years in the USA that sell Cannabis oil what is the general consensus among clergy about Cannabis heading powers?
I would like to know if I could lose my salvation? Because I've heard yes and no. But if the answer is yes, what would have to take place for me to lose my salvation? I just want to make sure I'm in good standing when Jesus calls us up.
If Eve is the Mother of all, how is God the Father of all? I get that God is the father of all but shouldn't Adam be the father he was Eve's husband after all and the first man alive.
John 21: The Resurrection of Christ; predestined plans for His Apostles
This chapter begins with some of the disciples fishing; and for the THIRD time Christ appears "incognito"; this time by the sea of Tiberius. Some surely would have seen Him in His resurrected glory before this; and you would think He would be recognizable. The scene played out much as it did when Christ first found Peter and the others fishing without success. Therefore; John knew immediately once the command in verse 5 and the resulted enormous haul that it was indeed the Lord. It was therefore evidenced by His characteristic behavior; at least as much as the miracle itself. Often missed is how Christ Himself got the fish and bread to prepare this meal without fishing gear before they even arrived having it cooked.
The rest of this narrative gets into the fate of Peter and John (always described in the third person). Peter is given the "interrogation" as it were as to the commitment of His love toward Jesus. He then is given prophetic insight as to his fate of martyrdom in verse 18; and repeated once again in the next verse the original calling "follow me."
As for John; Peter was inquisitive for some strange reason what would happen and Christ hypothetically brought up the fact that if he were to remain alive until He comes what was it to Peter? As it was; Christ decided to let him die a natural death after tradition apparently describes a foiled attempt to boil him in oil. The end of this chapter indicates one reason in verse 24; that is to write scripture; which also would extend until John wrote Revelation for him to leave this world.
Therefore; we see individual lives as planned all the way to the end in the eternal plans of the Godhead. As Deuteronomy 29:29 states the secret councils of God are beyond us; however kings search things out ( Prov. 25:2). May we seek as overcomers those things which glorify Him; and trust the path He has placed before us ( Prov. 3:5).
John 18 and 19 The predestined plan of God-crucifixion and atonement
Rather than detailing each event in separate chapters; I am making some general points here.
It doesn't seem fitting to do a forensic analysis of the details of the horrors of crucifixion in studying this subject; but instead doing a broad based approach to the events which played out in the time when Christ voluntarily laid down His life. ( John 10:18).
In regard to Judas Iscariot; of course he was the predestined son of perdition prophesied in Psalm 41:9. There were curses to be on his descendants as well. As to Pilate; the discourse went down in chapter 18 where Christ plainly told him that all who are of the truth hear His voice ( John 18:37). His response "what is truth" in the next verse clearly shows he remained in darkness; albeit his sin wasn't to be as great as the others who brought Him to Pilate.
We also; of course see how Christ's statement to Peter came to pass. We can sort of call prophecy predestination in a way; unless it is based on conditional factors. Jesus knew Peter couldn't stand in his own strength; but was already preparing him for when he had a change of heart. Several prophecies are in chapter 19 along with the one in the other gospels where He asks why God foresook Him taken from Psalm 22.
This most important event in human history allows us to be with Him in heaven eternally.
That is the central message that should be in our minds as to the certainty that God's plan and will are accomplished. This calls for praise and a humble and contrite spirit as Psalm 51 indicates. Psalm 110:3 shows "we shall be made willing in the day of thy power..." and seems to reflect sentiments as Job 19:25 and Isaiah 26:19 on the Resurrection
Those next to me I know He loves as much , yet I continue to want to leave the flock.
Drawn away of my own lust looking for something new! Trying to understand who I am, why ,somehow ,someway, I might know what He knows. I am like my brother , who wishes to be like Him , hiding in the garden, waiting?
How many times will He leave the others to come again, and find me? How many times will I take what is mine, only to squander. Do you see Him waiting to kiss me when I return empty! Waiting once again to forgive?
What love, what love! My soul, that forever wants to leave, yet He forever loves me!
How many times I have put the others in jeapordy. How many times they must wonder , again, we will have to wait for Him! They will wait with the same love that He has for all! The flock will wait, maybe for the last time!
Soon He will return and we will be on our way again, hearing His voice as He leads us into eternity!
Forgive me heavenly Father , Thank you for sending your only begotten one, watching and guiding , like no one could ever do! In Christ, the shepherd of our life, who leads and guides, forever loving us this one who has given himself for us!
Do you see Him as you lag behind? Soon you will not hear His voice! He will have gone with the flock, you will no longer hear the sounds of bells, only silence. Repent and be Baptized

This chapter describes the making of items for the tabernacle of meeting in fine detail. The directions are meticulous and exacting, representative of the absolute reality of each item's counterpart in heaven. These are said to be made after a pattern as well as a shadow of what is truly real.
The chapter begins with YHWH telling Moses to speak to the people, asking them to bring an offering to the YHWH voluntarily (God loves a cheerful giver) in a heartfelt way (worshipful). Then YHWH lists the items He asks the people to bring to Moses:
gold, silver, bronze
blue, purple, and scarlet fine linen
goat's hair, ram's skins (dyed red), badger skins
acacia wood, oil, spices
onyx, and various stones
YHWH reveals the purpose of these things offered is to make a tabernacle (sanctuary) (place of worship and meeting with YHWH) so that He may dwell among the Israelites.
YHWH is asking the people to bring to him costly things or rare things. Most of the metals were from the jewelry and items the Israelites received from the Egyptians just before fleeing the country. The dyed cloth was luxurious (not for everyday clothing). The hair and the skins from the animals involved slaying these creatures. Goats and rams they had as livestock, but badgers were wild (and fierce). The wood was from a tall tree with a rounded crown that grew in the wilderness, but sparsely, not as in forests. And the precious stones were also considered luxurious.
The items YHWH wanted made from these things required a large quantity of these things, so generosity was needed to supply all that was needed, even though the Israelites left Egypt in haste and not with ALL of their household goods. They probably didn't have a lot of excess of some of these things and most likely each served a good purpose for the people in their journey. They were to give sacrificially to YHWH, likely testing many of the Israelites since replenishing these things was unlikely in
Why,. Aren't gospel churches talking directly to this " existence?". During the service, at meetings to ...be rid of the satanic influence and erroneous practices!? God be with us all.
The words of Christ will find the way. The way into a world that is ready for harvest!
Many cannot see the fields neither can they know the time.
Fore
He who is coming, is the harvest,
We have been sent to declare these things unto you! We who have been given the power to declare these things too you! These things that kings wish to see!
This word has been spoken to those in the other land as these have been spoken unto you ,they should have repented long ago.
They neither repented nor will you?
These are the words of God.

What does this mean? That we shouldn't feel sorry for them, or smug that they are being put to death???
