Re Mat 1:17....the genealogy...start with Abraham as 1, Isaac 2, etc, and since there were 3 batches of 14, that would make Jesus the 42nd...but continue with the count suggested above...and you will find that Jesus is 41!.....?
So there is a missing generation?
    Any thoughts on this?
    Who is the missing generator?
I have an answer that satisfies me....but what say you?

So, um, how many gods do Christians believe in then? Let's count. God the Father: 1. God the Son: 2. God the Holy Spirit: 3. And Satan, The God of This World: 4. Wow! Add a few more, and y'all can begin approaching Hinduism or animism. But your official line is there's only One True God? Still going with that one, yes?

Reading various commentaries on this chapter, most seem to run into a problem in interpreting the prophet described in this chapter. There are some aspects that point to this being a false prophet and others that seem to make reference to Christ. In my opinion, from v2 to the end to the end of v4 the bible is describing a false prophet. Then there is a transition in beginning of v5 following the word "But,,," where the bible is comparing and contrasting the false prophet to another, who is not a prophet, but actually Christ.
    - He is not a prophet, but the Good Shepherd.
    - The wounds in his hand are from the cross.
    - The sword was from God, who used the Roman soldier.

    Any thoughts?

Revelation 11:19 Say the Temple of God was opened in heaven, ad there were lightnings, and voices, and thundering, and an earthquake, and great hail, is this what John saw, and this will be fulfilled after Christ return to earth? Some people believe that Revelation has already happen, but I do not believe that. I believe this part of the Bible will be fulfilled after Christ return and receive his believers into the kingdom. Can someone give me some insight on this matter? Thank you and God bless you.

Seeing Wesley's comment, regarding this verse, I am encouraged that our God makes room for His people by forcing the pestilence ahead of Him. Even if the many English translations I can read are not 100% clear to me, I would still want to pray to & follow the only God that plagues and pestilence listen to and obey. ? Only a foolish person would want this God as their enemy. Remember,?One Way, Jesus!?

Mick there is no heresy in CHRIST IN YOU IS GOD IN YOU. If ya have Christ in you you have God in you. But this is near future when the book is opened that contains the seeds of the sower the living words of God that new covenant i will put my WORDS in their HEARTS and minds That is gonna initiate a birth of Christ in us and CHRIST is God.My lil children of whom i travail in birth till Christ is formed in you and CHRIST IS God the son.But the kingdom has not come just yet. The WORDS of the book are the seeds of a Kingdom as Jesus said. Mick is the Father GOD.?If any man hears my WORDS and keeps them my father and I will come and take our abode with him where is the heresy mick? Christ in you.

Isn't there somewhere in the Bible that says we each have our own personal guardian angel? The only place I can find that would come close to a personal guardian angel would be in Matthew 18:10. I was raised Southern Baptist but later became Independent Baptist and was always taught that as a young girl.

Can you plz elaborate on a question I have? I know the Holy Bible says the 5th Commandment is to honor your mother and your father, now is there ever a time when a parent should reverse that? Should a mother have to prove her love and devotion to her child?
  • Mickey on 1 Corinthians 7 - 4 years ago
Easter is a pagan name for Ishtar which means Queen of Heaven.

That's 3 names right there and none have anything to do with PASSOVER.

It's also the day that Jesus was resurrected from the tomb. He was seen walking around by hundreds of people. He had fish & chips with his disciples. Later they watched him rise towards heaven.

People do easter and halloween so their children can grow up confused and hopped up on sugar! Can't you stream Ten Commandments for them?
  • Bob Hilt on Revelation 1 - 4 years ago
2 Corinthians Chapter 2: 15 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:
16 To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?
17 For we are not as many, which CORRUPT corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.
Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Acts 20:29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

Traditions of man make void the word of yahovah.
the rapture theory, the pagan word easter and even the celebration of yahshua's birth on a pagan holiday
contaminate any holy worship to yahovah. ?

Can someone shed light on verses 34-35? Is there somewhere else in KJV that indicates women can preach/teach in church? We had a visiting pastor who indicated women could preach/teach in the church but was not able to give scripture at the time. I've searched and found that women could be messengers outside of the church. Any clarification would be greatly appreciated. May God bless and keep all my sisters and brothers is my prayer. Amen.

It might be a good time to mention what is the UNFORGIVABLE sin?
    Scriptures>>Mark: 28-29, Luke 12:10 and Matthew 12:31-32
    BLASPHEMY against the HOLY SPIRIT

    How does this happen?
Rejecting salvation repeatedly from Jesus. Your heart hardens like a rock.
