  • Jimmy a disciple of Jesus on 1 Corinthians 14
well if God used a donkey He will use anyone!!! If more Men would be the leaders that God called them to be then maybe there wouldnt be women preaching but where are all the Men of God!!! Praise God for the Women that are doing the work!!! Where are all the men of God?????
  • A disciple on Hebrews 8
Free to live Lawless? If the light that is in thee be darkness, how great the darkness! Do we then make void the Law through grace? God forbid! Nay, WE ESTABLISH THE LAW! Jesus DID NOT ABOLISH THE LAW; but came to make it completely filled up. Do you think that you honor God by despising and rejecting His Word? The Law and the Prophets are fulfilled in us who walk according to the Spirit.
  • A disciple on Proverbs 10
"The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall." Proverbs 10:8 We want to be counted wise, and to have a heart like our Lord Jesus. Look carefully at the Master and study His manner of life, His speech, His behavior under all circumstances this is how we want to be, and to please our heavenly Father ALWAYS! If Jesus always does those things that please the Father, who does any man think he is, that he doesn't have to DO and BE in all his course in life, a living example of God's Law and the Testimony of Jesus Christ? Our regeneration and partaking of His Spirit is for the Spirit of God to use to convict the world and bring it Light that it might be saved.
  • Servant of God on Hebrews 4
We must labor to enter into that rest? They did not enter, except Caleb and Joshua? Jesus, the High Priest did? God is the discerner! Who can enter lest God permits!?. To David, Today, if you hear God's word, harden not your heart. The seventh day, the day of rest, where one would die if he worked that day, by stoning! Yikes! So to sum up, the Rest to which God refers is entirely up to Him
  • Will Virella on Hebrews 11
Hebrews 11:3 (KJV) True faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Does it mean we will have access to the Universe that God created?

    Thank you
  • Barbara Gaytan on John 3
I believe that god gave his son to save us from sin and he died on that rugged cross to save us from hell! That's how much he loved us to die for us so why do we not live for him? I love him with all my heart soul body mind and spirit! He's my best friend that never left me when my earthly friends did. He's my everything!
  • Sharlett on Revelation 1
WHERE? is it in the Bible where is says: that there will be nuclear bombs or war fair and the eyes of a person will dissolve before the body hits the ground?
  • Jerry on Acts 16
Let me see if I can take a different approach....in verse 18, did Paul abused his authority? He was grieved mad about this woman following them. He cast the demon out because he was grieved, not because he wanted to bring God glory. God then put them in jail. Paul later asks verse 25 for forgiveness ...prayed and sang..praised God. God forgave and used their mistake to bring Glory!
  • Jimmy a disciple of Jesus on John 8
how come no one is mentioning Romans 10:9-10...or even Acts16:29-31...we do have to be careful about false doctrines..what is repentance?? to turn away from the way we used to be...this is not to be seen in the carnal realm but in the spiritual!! Jesus said " the words i speak unto are spirit and are life!!Repentance starts in the Spiritual realm then is seen in the Carnal.
  • A disciple on Colossians 2
Jimmy (cont.); But the way we come to Jesus in the first place is holy and good in God's view! We seek forgiveness and reconciliation through the precious blood of Jesus, and God's great love and mercy for us. Is the blood of Christ not powerful enough to make reconciliation for us? Is the blood of Christ not powerful enough to purify the believing soul from every sin and repair all sin's damage?
  • A disciple on 1 John 4
"Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another." What makes people not love their neighbor or even their brother or sister in the Lord? If we are to love one another as Christ has loved us, then we must have the same character, nature and Spirit as Christ. Jesus said, that not understanding His speech is because of not being able to hear His word. That implies the need for a new creation, and having completely abandoned the old! That means a penitent and converted heart that henceforth longs for God and seeks His mercy, acceptance and blessing, and a mind no longer completely enthralled with self or the letcheries of its former life but being born anew, born from above, born of the Word and of the Spirit, TO BE THE CHILDREN, THE REPLICATIONS OF GOD! By this we know that we know God and keep His commandments, BECAUSE WE LOVE THE BRETHREN!
  • A disciple on Colossians 2
Dear Jimmy; Jesus Himself said, "Do not suppose that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I came not to abolish, but to completely make full." (literal translation). Also, isn't it the entire purpose of one's repentance and conversion to henceforth live a good and holy life of meekness and piety and bring forth good fruit to God? God has commanded that we should be holy as He is holy!
  • A disciple on Genesis 3
Jimmy; you may be mixing up some other part of Scripture here. The exact words which God spoke are: "Who told you that you are naked? Have you eaten from the tree which I TOLD YOU NOT TO EAT?" That is DISOBEDIENCE! Not unbelief! And to make it even more to the point; Adam's reaction to shame for his sin means that he knew he had done wrong and wanted to hide it from God, and blamed the woman.
  • David andrew on Malachi 1
This book of Malachi is something else....it makes me jealous for Christ and the Father. This seems to be about the latter days and the heathen nations that , even now, seem to be praising Him and His Name more so than his own people do...Me? Guilty as charged.
If the current bunch in power do start to rebuild (which is Edomites then and now)...thus saith the Word(s) of God
  • Jimmy a disciple of jesus on Colossians 2
this chapter is explaining Christ removed the Law and how we are to just trust in him and not in any rituals or doctrines of man..the goal of a christian life isnt trying to live holy but to total trust in Jesus..look at 2:6..as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord so walk ye in him..so think.. how you received him..did you come with holiness or goodness? of course not..u believed on Jesus.
  • A disciple on Mark 11
"..Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring; and if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither." I like how with what ease Jesus knows all things, and that with the same ease He speaks and it comes to pass!
  • Peter Muiruri Ndirangu on John 1
John1 for me is a deep book with extra ordinary deep insights.I was trying to relate it to a theory floating on the internet of the universal consciousness whose contention is that God is impersonal rather he is this cosmic mind that leaks our consciousness into our personalities upon birth?? The argument sounds so concise and logical - that why i write for some help because my faith's intimidated
  • A disciple on Mark 10
"And the Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? tempting him." Scrutinizing everyone but themselves, debating and contending about things that are NOTHING to be debated, putting the Lord to the test with their incessant contradiction and hostility; men who take this course are without excuse and are nothing hidden from God! The hypocrite belies himself!
  • Ray Jay on Isaiah 53
They will argue that Isaiah 53 is discussing the nation of Israel as the suffering servant and not an individual. They will quote other scriptures showing that. However, Isaiah, clearly is speaking of an individual. An entire nation doesn’t have one soul; HE bare THEIR iniquity; no deceit was on HIS mouth - How can an entire nation of Jews have NO deceit? This and more is an individual. JESUS!
  • Jeff King on Matthew 6

I believe Jesus was telling us how to pray , not saying repeat word for word every pray . I do believe we should always start with praising God and always for sure end with in Jesus name I pray . The only way to God is through Jesus so we should .
At ball games and such if I pray along I end with in Jesus name . They started closing by saying in his name we pray . Who’s name ? are they ashamed
  • A disciple
"...There shall no sign be given unto this generation!" What are they then looking for? Mega Churches filled to overflowing with misguided souls with itching ears and adulterous hearts looking for a Spectacle to excite them: this is what has substituted walking in holiness and truth and the way of the cross! While they look feverishly for Sign and Wonders they know not that they aren't even ready!
  • A disciple on Mark 8
"And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation." If it was an unworthy generation when Jesus was here, with all their hatred and hostility and contradiction against Him; what does THIS dried out old rotten tree think that God should care to give any of them a sign? What blindness!
  • Michael on 1 John 4
Has no man seen God? Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. 9Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
  • A disciple on Ecclesiastes 7
"Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools." Ecclesiastes 7:9 Why do we get angry? There are many things that can wear us down or catch us at a weak moment when we're weary or distressed. How do we let the furnace burn us all out and melt us, without "spontaneously combusting?" If we go back to the basics in the Sermon On The Mount for example , we do have a guiding principle to work toward but it will cost us everything we ever trusted in ourselves, to really have that wonderful grace living and working in us. We want to be the Blessed poor in spirit, those that mourn, the meek, etc but it is a gradual development through difficult training and many hard lessons to learn and there is a price! I wish more than anything that somehow by His great mercy and grace to really be that man after God's own heart, really and truly in His image and likeness and for ALL OF MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN JESUS LIKEWISE.
  • Servant of God on Matthew 9
Jesus heals but only those worthy for he questions those,"believe ye that I am able to do this?" For we see that according to our faith are we healed. "Go and learn what that means. I call not the Righteous to repentance but the sinners!" And we are sinners here on earth without exception. Thankfully we have an advocate in heaven who speaks with the Father, impleeding him for mercy for us. Amen
  • Stephen Botts on 2 Samuel 18
David did not weep over the baby he lost due to his sin concerning Uriah the Hittite. (Even after fasting for a week). However, he wailed over Absalom. Why? Because he knew that little baby was with the Lord Jesus (2 Samuel 12:23 ) and he would see him again. And he also knew that Absalom was not a true believer in God. David affirms his love by saying, "would God I had died for thee".
  • Duncan on Mark 13
Matt 24:13, Mark 13:13, say same thing, he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Got your Gospel Armor on?
  • Josh Ferguson on John 19
I noticed that in verse 25 that it mentions Mary wife of Cleophas. This is the only mention of her or Cleophas in the entire Bible. Who is she and who is Cleophas?
  • Betty mcintyre on Habakkuk 1
Are the sins of believers and unbelievers equally offensive to God?
  • A disciple on Jeremiah 29
"And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:13 Do you remember when you were little, before you really started doing things you knew were wrong? Do you remember how you felt when you did something you knew was wrong? THAT is the secret place where God sees, and how He alone knows us better than we know ourselves. Stupidity and listening to others who wanted to get you to do bad things, can be forgiven and healed in anyone who brings THAT VERY THING to the Lord in repentance. A good and honest heart and a tender clean conscience have to go together. This must be the beginning of our new life in Christ and what we strive to maintain and perfect for the rest of our lives rendering to the Lord all He is worthy of, in deed and in truth.
