Verse 2 says that a good man obtaineth favor of the Lord. Our God and our Father gives favor to those who are good. Obtaineth in the KJV means to get it presently. Any word in the Bible that adds "eth" on a word means in the present, right now. A good person right now, gets His favor right now. Does He favor some over others? Can He show favor to some and not others without being a respector of persons, which He is not? Absolutely. He is God. He elevates His in life. Who are those that are good and understanding our goodness or righteousness is filthy rags? It's the one who has been born again by His Spirit through what Jesus His Son our Savior and Sanctifier has done at Calvary and the beating before the cross. We obtain favor constantly and daily through Jesus that we acknowledge and follow and lives through our life. He elevates that person in all of their life and what relates to them in life. Hallelujah

I enjoy all of the discussions and comments that I read; however, I am only interested in some things at this particular time of my life; and i can research them on the internet over time; but I also want Christian views and then also I thought that over time slowly I would enjoy my remaining years reading comments and slowly learning other favourite things as i was familiar a little bit with when i was a child. Once a man, twice a child; and i have person interest in these things as for example I love the 10 commandments but the problem is i get things mixed up a little; and i don't even know the first one and the most i can find is 9. So, That is my next priority and i was wondering if someone could tell me the first commandments; Is it just Thou shall have no other God before me. or do it continue as I think it do. What is the overall Christian view; and if it is one; what would the tenth one be?

Verse 9 and 10 are the explanation for Revelation 12

Revelation Chapter 12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

9 And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.

10 And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth?

11 And his brethren envied him; but his father observed the saying.

This was fulfilled when Joseph became a Governor in Egypt.

Comments about that which is BORN of the SPIRIT IS SPIRIT Matthew 13 The children of the kingdom that are gonna be born in US via his seed the Word. She brought forth a manchild that is gonna rule all nations. THE WOMAN IS US, WE ARE GONNA HAVE A BABY, the Child is the H.G. The Child is the Kingdom , the H.G. unless you receive the kingdom as a lil Child ( A BIRTH the H.G.))you will in no wise enter there in. his SEED is the WORD, the same seed that was implanted in Mary is gona be sown in all of US. Who is my Mother he asked ? Them that hear the WORD and keeps it ,Thus we will birth a baby Christ which is the H.G. A SPRITUAL CHILD, THAT WHICH IS BORN OF THE SPIRIT ( THE WORD ) IS SPIRIT THATS THE H.G. OUR NEW INNERMAN, tHAT NEW CREATURE . Our fruit unto God as PAUL said, When he was still on the cross he calling for Elijah to come and turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, His children that are gona be born in US. Thats y he said b/c i have spoken these words ( his seeds) sorrows have filled your hearts, SORROWS imply a spritual pregnancy thats when he told em of a woman has sorrrows till the Child comes then her sorrows are turned into joy, then he said i wil see you again he is the Child, th H.G. WHOSOEVER receives one Child in My NAME receives me, in my Name implies he is the father of the Child simply the child is ccnceived by his seed the word,REMEMBER he said the Father wd send the H.G IN MY NAME,THE H.G. being the Child. MEN AND WOMEN ARE GONA BIRTH A BABY CHRIST THAT WAS THE GREAT PROMISE THAT CHRIST WD BE MULTIPIED as the stars of heaven THUS THE BABES AND SUCKLINGS WHICH ARE SPIRITS TH H.G PLURAL AS THE STARS OF HEAVEN.Whoso ever receives one such Child in my NAME receives ME. Thats y the new birth is so important, there is a Child in the new birth. When Isaiah saw the Kingdom coming he says unto us a Child is born unto us a Son is given. thats y he always refers to himself as the SON OF MAN. Thats y Jeremiah saw all men in travail and birth pains

I need help understanding Moses ten commandments and what the point is behind each commandment. Cause some of them seem ridiculously difficult to obey in my life. For instance, Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

    Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

So I was considering this commandment with all seriousness and I even got rid of my teddy bear which i really love man and is actually super expensive. I threw it in the trash. But then i realized there are even more things in my apartment that are likenesses of things that are in the earth beneath. My cans of beans have likenesses of stuff that's in the earth beneath. I mean beans are in the earth right? My box of peaches have likenesses of peaches. Don't the milk cartons have likenesses of cows? I mean. It makes me want to say G*d damn. Seriously. What the hell? My freaking oats have images of quakers man. This stuff is stressing me out and I'm wondering if there's any point to my worship of the Lord if I don't even keep his commandments.

It is also written in the word that All things are lawful but all things edify not. Did i just throw out my teddy bear for nothing?

    Desperately clinging to the Faith.

Without the love of God in our hearts, the nine gifts of the Spirit are meaningless. The Greatest Gift to possess is the power of love. Love is eternal. Worldly love is not the love of God. It tolerates sin( worldly love) and breeds hate and division--even among Christians. Love has no color. Love is kind. vaunteth not itself is puffed up thinketh no evil. Love does not rejoice in iniquity. Real love will not support evil.If I give my body to burned and I do not do it for the love of God --I died for nothing. How many so-called movements have been motivated by anger, resentment, worldly acceptance? Jesus was motivated by love to die for a world that hated him.

I have finally figured out why we are commanded to do this; because it helps us to forgive. Have you ever noticed that when you pray for someone, you feel love for that person, even if you don't know that person? When we pray for those who have hurt us, or continually hurt us, it's not so their hearts will be changed--although I often pray for that. It's not so they will stop hurting us--although I often pray for that. It's so that the love that we automatically feel for people when we pray for them will heal our hearts and help us to forgive. Sometimes we forgive but the hurt and resentment is still there--praying for the person who hurt you helps your heart heal from the pain.

He (our creator), is no respect of persons, we read from the bible.

so why did he choose to be born a jew?

    then later become a christian?

    this seems a controversial issue!

    for the bible also says...

    i change not!

can one begin to trust anyone who calls himself

    god, who changes not,

then,do a complete flip? to keep what has always

    been his!

and after what he so firmly says! i change not!

even satan would have something to say about this!

and as we also know, he is immortal

    he is perfect,

    so there is

no change from perfection to being a mortal creator

which would, put him in the same bracket as satan, who is

a created being, thus here he lowers himself

(when there is no need to), in not only satan's eyes,

but all mankind, being born again to prove

his ownership! he turns human like us!

    no...

he is the owner to all his creation!

never has he lost anything to a created being - satan!

who can never stand up to his maker, owing every

minute to him for his own life, and would surely be

    consumed by the creator's presence!

for the wages of sin is death,

    satan is living only

through his makers gratis, or he should have long

    been dead by now!

i believe my creator is perfect in everyway.

never has he lost anything he is owner of,

not incompetent, untruthful to his word,

lacking a sure foundation, and the ability

to hold on to what is rightfully his!

unaware of the helplessness of man's

suffering, that he took so long to come to

    his aid!

had to leave a place called heaven to show

    who he rightfully is!

then to prove to man he had to lower his

status in order to win back the ownership

of this sad world! and his people!

and then be told by satan...

to bow down to him, and he (our creator)

    would be given this whole!

i also believe my creator knew what he did

back then, even before he created anything

for surely he is an immortal being, knows his

own, and how to manage it all, even satan.

he need never to prove to anyone or answer.

Christians are to love all people? So are we to love satanists?

David a man after God's own heart said the following

Psalms 139:21 Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?

2 Chronicles 19:2 And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the LORD? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the LORD.

Read that again why don't you.

Matthew 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Deut 23: 17 There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a SODOMITE of the sons of Israel.

18 Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a DOG, into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow: for even both these [are] abomination unto the LORD

    Romans Chapter 1:

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

    28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Paul, that's an interesting comment you make, one which I had not given much thought to as I understood it as read. So, you're saying, "I do not believe for one second (that) Jesus had a flaw or sweated blood". That is very true if it were indeed 'a flaw or actual blood'. And yes, the mention of it in Lk 22:44 is the only one, which I suspect is so because of Luke's profession & interest in all things medical.

Hematohidrosis, which the medical doctors class this as, seemed very likely what Jesus was experiencing at the Mt. of Olives. Yes, it is a condition, even rare by all accounts, but should it be classified as a 'flaw (in Jesus' perfect Body)? This condition has been observed in others who are experiencing extreme moments of stress & anguish (e.g. some soldiers about to enter into battle), so Luke describes this occurrence to show us the agony of our Lord as He also contemplated the full implications of His Sacrifice. Not just in a physical torture & death, but for the eternal release of those caged in sin & hell bound.

Also, what do you make of Jn 19:34? At the spearing of Jesus' side, both blood & water spewed out. Was this too a 'flaw'? Or, maybe a physiological reaction to the rupture of the pericardium of the heart, which was filled with fluid as a result of a crucifixion, & brought forth that liquid (water) & blood from ruptured veins & arteries.

So, I don't see either of these events as flaws, but serving to prove to us once again, the full humanity in every detail, that Jesus took upon Himself so that he would suffer & die as a man (yet a perfect Man) without avoiding any of the torture we would have faced if put in a similar position. And our crucifixion & death would have been justified as sinners, but this Man did nothing amiss, was sinless, but for OUR sins He came & died.

It is said that the King of Jerusalem was one of the five kings that encamped Gibeon. Joshua chapter 10 verse 5 said, "Therefore the five kings of the Amorites, the king of Jerusalem, the king of Hebron, the king of Jarmuth, the king of Lachish, the king of Eglon, gathered themselves together, and went up, they and all their hosts, and encamped before Gibeon, and made war against it." There was no king of Israel then right?
