  • Mark Diffin on Psalms 22
Can anybody tell me which Hebrew word translates to be 'pierced' in verse 16? I will tell you - none, because it is a complete mistranslation, just as the 'virgin' of Isaiah ch.7 v14. Why do they find it necessary to corrupt the Hebrew Scriptures?
  • Matthew on Revelation 22
I know its a wonderful thing to believe in God but is it wrong to believe in the possibility of extraterrestrial life? I am lost about that.

  • Shoshi on 2 Corinthians 5:16
i have been greatly exercised over this verse as the media and the world judge people according to size and age and prosperity etc. if you are a grandfather or mother and mature size not the skinny teen size that is all the go right now then you are no good. if you are old you are of no avail if you are pensioned you are written off if you are slow you are written off if you blieve different that the media you are of course wrong. If you go to a certain denomination church you are judged ok but if you are different you are not.
is verse is very meaningful as what does it mean ot walk in the spirit and to know after the spirit and who does this?

I want to believe but all this seems confusing. I know I make mistakes but I want to know if I am to be worthy of His love. What if I can't remember every bad thing I've ever done. I've never been to Church. Where do I start???
  • Kyamz on Exodus 6
How come in Genesis 22:14, Abraham calls the place where he was supposed to sacrifice his son as 'Jehovahjire'... Isn't this a logical problem here?
  • DaughterToGodtheFatherBornInHumanity on Revelation 1
    Im 15
If man believes the existance of the Devil, then they must believe God the father,God the Son,God the Holy Spirit. The Devil is yes a fallen Angel(a Serpant. God created the Devil for how could we see how good GOd is if nothing bad ever happened ? we would be robots (worshiping God)God is king of kings ,right ? well the devil is a Prince. God can never die so the devil is the eternal Prince. He is powerless beyond earth itself. The devil can only a act on free will. Yes we are cursed upon sin, born again though the body of christ we sin less and less.Deception is simple for evil doesnt have to look bad to be bad, you can be blessed by the devil. Anyone or anything that challenges your faith is the devil. It can be an attractive woman who is pleasant to the eye and seems like she is of good doings, but is she doesnt credit God and boasts then she is the devil ,Atheus no belief. or The devil can be a pleasant man that seems nice but can do the same. Example you're struggling, don't attend church because you have no transportation. You ask God for a vehicle and promise to go to church. Say you gain a larger income thats cxonsistant and do recieve a vehicle and procrastinate and still never attend church. ANything that keeps you from God and challenges your commitment may be the devil. It seems good but you're really blinded. You contenuie to recieve so called "blessings",setting you're faith of God on the back burner. If you financially depend on someone or depend on everyone but God ,you have a tendency to loose your faith. Why do you think millionaires commit suicide?Money can come close but can't exactly buy happiness. It just trade to get what we want. With the Bible you'll never thirst or hunger. Also no one knows what physical form jesus will return in so its important to treat people nice not think negative for jesus may live in the body of a homeless person, a political leader,a new neighbor and elderly person anyone. You may even incounter him face to face and not know it. Tried to live as holy as possible
    :)
  • Marty on Psalms 71
I have sinned. And why not? Of course a sinner will sin. I have been blessed greatly in life and yet for most of my adult life, i have selfishly continued to ignore God. I am turning my eyes to the Lord and am learning to pray. God is slowly opening my eyes and the beauty and joy of life is being revealed to me. I am finally becoming thankful and joyful.

  • Jemimah David on John 1
In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. How could we know God? We can know Him through His Words, because He is the Word...that gives eternal life. We need to pray to him to ask Him to give us the wisdom to know His Words, so that we may live the same way as He lived. He wants us to be perfect like him. Following His path is not easy, but through our Faith, Obedience and Love for Him, we can be called as the "Chosen few". Make Him our Model on how to live in this earth. Make His works as our guide on how to have eternal life. All these are my testimonies of my faith in Him. Amen
  • HARRY ALLISON on Proverbs 22
READING MATTHEW HENRY's commentary enlightened me to a deep lacking in my heart.I hate taking/sharing the blame for another`s fault.THROUGH "ADAM and EVE`S" sin in the garden, mankind was condemned to eternal hell.( i don `t like sharing this responsibility).MY revelation?....".all share this responsibility".JESUS redeemed me (us) with HIS BLOOD from that condemnation.ACCEPTING HIS sacrifice has more meaning and appreciation to JESUS for this liberty....THANK YOU JESUS.....

in Genesis 6,GOD instructed noah to build an ark 300 cubits long,50 cubits wide, and 30 cubits high, and in Genesis 7,after the rain is mentioned the water went up only 15 cubits high and all the mountains were covered. WOW its hard to fathom an ark twice as high, as the highest mountain.to build such an ark, those eight people had great lungs and stamina, wow is all i can say,...something wrong here?

  • Jan Wertheim on Zechariah 8
What is going on in verse 23? Why, in the day of the messiah are people going to the Jews to ask of G-d and not to Christians, Muslims etc? Could it be that they are right and the truth is with them!!??
  • Jan Wertheim on Job 1
Who are these son's of G-d in v6. I though Jesus was meant to be the only son, but here we see there are more?! If 'son' here just means angel, then everywhere it should mean angel and not be literal - you can't have it both ways - please explain, someone...
  • Susan Dalton on 1 Thessalonians 5
I Thessalonians 5:2-4. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

We have a cat that was found on our land who recently had five kittens. We have watched as the mother kitty has met the kittens needs. After about two weeks, she moved them from where she gave birth. Some time later, she moved them to another spot. Eventually, they began to explore and move into greater enlargements.

The other night, when the kittens were eight weeks old, they went off the high porch which they had never went off of before - it was night.

They went down the steps and on to the area below, mother kitty was with them. This is the first time I had noticed them go down to the ground. I thought it was a milestone for them and felt a sense of enjoyment at their new milestone. I sat on top of the porch and watched them. One little, black kitty was at the edge of the landing onto the grass. It was curiously abounding. Another black kitty was on the other side of the porch exploring. I got a flashlight to see where all the kittens were. When I looked by the light into the darkness, I saw a pair of eyes at the edge of the yard; they were low to the ground. When I looked to the left, I noticed a white and colored cat had come around the corner where the other black kitten was exploring. The kitty had hunched up and was hissing. I did not think the Momma kitty had seen this cat and what was happening since she was on the other side of the porch with the other black kitty. I called the Momma kitty, and when I did, the other cat turned and went out of sight. I went inside to tell my sons what was happening. As I was about to tell my son about what had just happened, he asked me had I heard that noise. I said, "What noise?" I went back outside and when the kitties were all inside - one was missing, blue eyes. I looked everywhere inside and realized she was not inside. We took flashlights and looked outside - she was no where to be found.

How quickly death snatched away a life. The first night off the porch, at the beginning of their exhilaration, death was lying in wait.

I thought of the thief in the night; how the thief lay in darkness waiting to kill in the night. I thought of Jesus saying He would come as a thief in the night. I think of that verse in a more positive, personal way now. When Satan thinks he has his system with all enclosed with no way of escape, like a thief in the night, Jesus will snatch us away. In this case, snatching us out of Satan's trap of death into abundant life with Jesus; whereas, with the kitty, the kitty was snatched from life unto death.

I called the kitty that was snatched away, blue eyes. She had blue eyes. All kittens are born blind and deaf. They all are born with blue eyes that change color as they mature. We are much like the kitties in this respect. We are all born blind and deaf in regards to us all being born with a sin nature. In respect to the color of the kittens eyes being blue until they reach a certain milestone in development, I associate blue eyes with innocence and vulnerability. Satan may look upon the Lord's people as having blue eyes and desire to overtake them into death; but, I thank God that we are not destined unto death, but, the Lord, as a thief in the night, will deliver us from the jaws of death.
  • Garyloyd on Revelation 6
Timothy wayne george,Caught up where? Christ Jesus is coming here. All, all, changed at the 7th trump. Count 1,2,3,4,5,6,7. Gods beloved children that are the set a side ones and that means church ,ekklesia, "ek" means completely out and "kaleo" meaning called out ones that know the plan of salvation will put on their Gospel Armor but the people that sit in your church and they all say the same OUR Church will fly away Ezekiel 13. Oh! You don't read that whole chapter that was written on chicken flyers that God hates. You rather listen to a Church Doctrine from 1830 from Europe that says your going to fly away. To hell is where the chicken flyers go with the antichrist. Whhat I can't figure out is why are you guys going to fly. You said you know of the 70 weeks. Read the rest of Daniel it will tell you the vile one comes in peace and flatteries and takes over in peace. Just go down to church at that time when he takes over all the churches and they will be telling you they will fly you out because that's satans lie and you will be happy to die with him in his gathering place of take off. Oh! In your chicken suit you`ll need a hard hat. God makes it a point to drop 180 hail balls of ice on your take off to hell. Have a nice trip. Oh, the scriptures say that them that preach that fly away doctrine take on all the sins of them that hear it from them that spread it and will pay a heavy price at judgment. Best thing for you to do if your going to be suckered at the end by satan in his acting role of instead of Christ, or antichrist, is just be quite as you walk this green mile and take the flames alone.
  • Elder Vann on Genesis 3
Dear Rob" in all humility may I please share this with you? The reason the ground was cursed was because Adam was taken from the it and the earth was just as much apart of him as Eve was.that's why when we as mankind destroy the earth we destroy ourselves with it. but even more so because he was given dominion over all things because God set him over the works of his hand see (Hebrews 2:6..8) Satan though a fallen cherub' but none the less a spirit, it was not possible for him to have done that; being not flesh and blood see(Matthew22:29)from this point in the scripture a spiritual principal is being established that you will be see throughout the rest of the bible. That is (Nakedness)is represent the shamefulness of Sin(see Exodus32:21..25)also (Revelation 3:14..18) their eyes were opened and through disobedience they new their sin ,therefor to their own selves did their nakedness appear. Only after hearing the voice of GOD! while in their nakedness did they hide themselves(Genesis 3:8 which is a common reaction to guilt.the reverse affect of that would be (Isaiah 6:8)after the seraphims Had purged his iniquity with the live coal from of the alter! He said I also" herd the voice of the Lord) but being guilt free he was able to respond (Hear am I send me).
  • C.trump on Romans 10
That is exactly right Mark. First what is an epistle? They r letters to the church. Romans is a poor selection of scripture to use to show someone how to become saved. Evan the wordage should tell anyone; Shall or shalt means future tense not present tense. God sent Paul to speak to whom? The members of the church at Rome. Remember the DEVIL believes and ftrembles and he aint saved, and wont be. Salvation scripture is John 3:3,3:5 The entire book of Acts. Acts iz where they tarried for the HGhost
  • HARRY ALLISON on Psalms 73
