  • Doubting Thomas on Luke 21
This Gospel says that Jesus said " Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled".
The prophesy did not happen! I know the apologists can twist this around, but the fact remains (as written in Luke 21) that this prophetic event did not take place. So, if Jesus did not know, what does that tell you?

    Think about it.
  • Nellie on Mark 9
Why do some versions eliminate versus 44 and 46? Is it a sin to do so?
  • Wes on Proverbs 2:16
Are you kidding? That is the Word of God. He doesn't lie! This woman/habitation of devils almost killed me and high jacked my daughter for 12 years of occultic hell. I wished I had obeyed my instinct to put her down. But God prevailed, and I had to blow my engine (nervous breakdown) to stifle what the word says are brute beasts needling to be destroyed! May You always prevail Lord, this is a spiritual battle...pls party for Shannon and Kaelynn! GB
  • Timothy Wayne George on Genesis 7
The important thing to remember about the commands that were given to Noah,is that he obeyed all that God had commanded him to do, from gathering the animals two of each kind, to building the ark. Eight souls were saved because of Noah's obedience to the word of God. Noah was righteous, because in faith he believed, and acted according to the commands of God. We too must be like Noah, and believe that Jesus is the only way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father except by Him. God is not going to destroy the world with a flood next time, but with fire. II Peter 3 tells about this, and God is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance. Who has believed the report? To whom shall the arm of the Lord be extended? Without faith, it is impossible to please God, for he that comes to Him must believe that He is, and will reward those who diligently seek Him. So let us not try to understand all of the particulars, but let us obey the commands.
  • Timothy Wayne George on Isaiah 46
While we were in our mother's womb, for nine months, it was God who was carrying us. Even to our old age, and the gray hairs of our head, God is the one who delivers us. Who is like unto God? He declares the end, from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done. God is the only one who can save us in trouble, and not idols. Therefore we must be careful not to turn to idols of gold, and silver for they cannot save in the day of trouble. Many people are storing up treasures for the last days, and the bible tells us that they will be casting their gold, and their silver in the streets. The Lord is a stronghold in the day of trouble, and He knows those who trust in Him. God has given us Genesis to Revelation, and we know that in the end Jesus Christ will rule and reign. The kingdoms of this world will become the kingdoms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God's salvation shall not tarry, for He will place His salvation in Zion, for Israel his glory. No nation that goes against Israel is going to prosper. The reason God has blessed America, is because we have stood with them, and I pray we will continue to stand with them in the days to come. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Only Jesus the Prince of peace will be able to bring lasting peace to the whole world. Even so come Lord Jesus amen.
  • Doubting Thomas on Genesis 7
If the Bible is the inerrant word of God, then why are there contradictions between Genesis 6 & 7?

Genesis 7:2-3 says clean beasts & fowl are to be taken by sevens. Genesis 6:19 says to take two of everything.

Which is it? Even if this is true, both can't be right.
  • Timothy Wayne George on 1 Peter 3
Praise God for Sara, obeyed Abraham, calling him lord. She is an example of the wife with a meek, and quiet spirit. Husbands are to dwell with their wives according to knowledge, giving honor unto them as the weaker vessel, and as joint heirs of the grace of life, so that our prayers will not be hindered. We were called to inherit a blessing. We must refrain our tongue from speaking evil, and not render railing for railing, instead blessing. Always be ready to give an answer to those who question us of the hope that is in us, by sanctifying the Lord God in our hearts. Who can harm us, if we be followers of that which is good? Christ hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, to bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit. It is the will of God that we should suffer for well doing, and not as evildoers. Christ is now seated at the right hand of God in heaven, where angels and authorities and powers are subject unto Him. One day we will be with Him. So let us run with patience this race that is set before us, looking unto to Jesus, the author, and finisher of our most holy faith.
  • Garyloyd on 2 Thessalonians 2
I do believe that the antichrist that will be here de-facto in his cherubim form, just a man…form but has super natural powers given to him to perform his acting role and that acting role will be in flatteries and peace to fool the world. So yes, these preachers have lied and the Christians have been fooled listening to them. Just look at the rapture folks out there who think they will fly away? Them and the snake handlers down in the south getting bit by snakes. Religions have really lied to people. Count the trumps to seven. Satan comes on the 6th and there is a falling away first at that 6th trump where everyone that sees this New Religion and the apostacy, fallling away from the Christian churches and they quit taking communion because they think Jesus Christ is here sitting on the throne, but its not Him, its "instead of christ" meaning antichrist. So yes they have been duped and fooled.
  • Henry Dansereau on 1 Corinthians 6
What is Paul warning us here? Dare anyone go to the law. When you go to the law you are a fornicator, adulterer, etc, etc. The church again misses the gospel, and tries to get people to obey the law. I do not sin and cannot sin. How is this possible? Read Romans 4:15
  • Doubting Thomas on Genesis 1
Genesis 1:26 "Let us make man in our image, our likeness"? "Our" & "Us" are the possesive and objective form of "We"! This means more than one! Why?

    AND

Why is there another creation story in Genesis 2:4-25. These accounts are not in the same order.

Honestly answer these questions. Why are there two different accounts of the same event? Why two accounts in the first place?

Even if you believe, that makes one of these accounts wrong. Therefore the Bible in not inerrant.

So, what else could be in error?
  • Cindy on Titus 1
Thank the Lord for instruction. I am so glad that we are not left to rule however we'd like, we have guidelines to use. On another note let's please remember that none of are above sin and all of us have not always been completely right with God so when someone admits to having been backslidden and has reconciled with God there isno need to throw that back in their face. I admire the honesty of this dear sister in Christ and God is pleased with her honesty. We are to confess our sin and ask forgiveness, right?
  • HARRY ALLISON on Proverbs 8
I CANNOT PUT LIMITATIONS on JESUS.HE IS SPIRIT,not limited by time or space.SINCE HE is "ONE"and unlimited by time and space ,is it possible JESUS could be laying HIS LIFE DOWN FOR ME ,walking on the water, healing blind BARTIMAEUS,and saying,"LET THERE BE LIGHT",all at the same moment?(food for thought)
  • K Clark on Genesis 12
Where did Pharaoh and the Egyptians come from? Back in Chapter 7, they were all wiped away, and there seems to be an extensive geneology in Chs 8 to 11, so where did all these Egyptians, including a Pharaoh!!!, and advanced society suddenly arise from???????
  • Wessy on Ecclesiastes 6
Its gud 2 serve him with our wealth. He is the Jehovah jireh; our provider. Why do we want blessings and not the blesser? I will serve him with all my wealth!
  • Mark on Luke 2
    Response to previous comments.

The problem here is the same problem that has existed since the time of Christ.

The Bible tells us that it is the actual Word of God, yes written by human writers, but inspired and breathed out by God Himself. How do we know this to be true? For those of us who are truly christians, we have a personal relationship with God, through the Lord Jesus Christ.

No-one can tell me that this is a figment of my imagination, because it is a daily living experience and reality for me. Furthermore, no-one can tell me that the Bible is false, because I know the one who authored it and have proved it to be true in my daily life.

Of course, those who do not have this relationship with God will always mock and doubt, because they do not have the same personal experience. Sadly, the Bible says unless such individuals repent and turn to God now, they will have chosen to spend eternity away from God, in a place of hell.

Some will read this and laugh - doesn't matter to me, some will agree - it all depends of course where you stand before God. See John chapter 3 verse 16.
  • Ditim W. J. Musi on Isaiah 42
Grant who is your God then if not Jesus as you relied on Mark 13:32?
  • Chris on Jeremiah 2
Wow, its amazing how people can take whatever they wish from these passages. Or take one phrase or part of a phrase and make it a whole life's obsession.

If one claims to be a Christian, does that mean you take the teachings of Jesus over the old testament? Or can you pick and choose parts of the bible to affirm your point of view while discarding the rest.

If Jesus walked among us today, would he be on Wall Street or with Occupy Wall Street?

"and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet". Is this a reference to aids ?
  • Jeff on Genesis 1:28
My question is with the what had done when He had "blessed" them ... To bless is to kneel in adoration. Did God kneel before us ? And what is it that specifically could define Blessed in this context.
  • HARRY ALLISON on Psalms 127
it is weird how suddenly a people can unite over something as unpredictable as CHIC FILET,911,and aurora ,colorado.worldly catastrophies too.WOULDNT it be nice to see more unity without all the catastrophies that have to bring people together?
  • Simon van Wyk (Snr) on Luke 16:9
I think Jesus meant that, embrace the riches of this world (unrighteousness mammon) which will enable you into the privilege of tithing, giving to the poor, give generously to those in need, clothe them, buy them food. Using the earthly wealth to serve God so that the seed you have planted on earth (as per the book of Revelation) where we will be judged by the works we did as it is written in the second book of our deeds) Therefore this wealth would have opened an opportunity to us to serve God with it hence the good works and fruits that emanated from the unrighteousness mammom will welcome us into everlasting habitation. See verse 11' it says if you cannot be trusted with the unrighteousness mammon how can you be trusted with the holy incorruptible wealth in heaven?
  • Elder Vann on Colossians 1
Isaiah 9:6 Tell us his name shall be called wonderful counsellor,The Mighty God everlasting Father prince of peace.God said in (Isaiah 43:19) Behold I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth shall ye not no it? well I guess that being proven. As far as Christ being a man and God at the same time and not! being able to govern the Universe that's a misconception of the human mind. Jesus said to Nicodemus a man who was confused like many here today StJohn 3:12 If I have told you of earthly things and you believe not how shall you believe if I tell you of heavenly things and no man hath ascended up to heaven but the same that came down from heaven even the Son of Man which IS IN HEAVEN!!hello. The Bible dose not say God the Son because The Godhead is not divide because the Son is only the (Word) which is God's prophetic description of himself which he incarnated into flesh. Not another person!! bur the expressed image of his!! person.Hebrews 1:3(John 14:9-11) Jesus did not say he that seen me hath seen God the Son he said hath seen the Father (Colossians 2:9 for in him dwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily Christ is not a fallen man like us. We can't limit what he can do; because of what we! cant do or don't understand that's why 1Tomothy 3:16 say's its a mystery. Not every one will understand; that's the book that is called the Revelation of Jesus Christ says blessed is him that readeth and understands.(Philippians 2:19)say who being in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God; But made himself of no reputation and took upon him the form of a servant. Yes he dose pray to his own spirit Deity!(Ephesians 1:9 says Having made known unto us the Mystery of his will according to the pleasure which he purposed in himself. Hello!!11th verse who worketth all things after the counsel of his own will.(Isaiah 40:10)Behold the Lord God will come with a strong hand and his arm shall rule for him. verse 13 who hath directed the spirit of the Lord; or being his counsellor hath taught him? with whom took he counsel Who instructed him and taught him in the path of Judgment and taught him Knowledge, and taught to him the way of understanding.Matthew 11:27 All things are delivered to me of my Father and no man knoweth the Son but the Father neither knoweth any man the Father save the Son and HE to whom THE SON WILL REVEAL HIM. So there you no nothing of the father but what Jesus has revealed blessed is he that readeth and understands.
  • Cora Withers on Proverbs 14:1
To be a wise woman is priceless in the society that we live in today. Knowing and seeking what the Lord's will is for my life is what wisdom is all about.Asking for wisdom then using it as I go about my daily activties...Lord where should I shop for the best prices for my household, which way do I go? Even in the smallest areas the smallest detailes of my life I ask the Lord for wisdom to be lead in a plain path.
  • Elder Vann on Colossians 1:15
According to to all these Bible scriptures and the Hebrew prophets there is no Son of GOD who is not also! GOD(Hebrews 1:6-13) because if he is not God manifest in the flesh then he's not the son of God either (1 Timothy 3:16)Psalms 100:2 says know ye that the Lord he is God" How many Gods do you think there are? To say that Jesus is separate from God contradicts the words of Jesus himself (StJohn10:30) even the Devil knows there's one God and trembles, to believe there's more than one God is to be a heathen(Deuteronomy 6:4 (James 2:19) (Isaiah 9:6_(40:3..6(44:6..8)(45:20..23)(Psalms110)Revelation 22:3..5 tells us int the end there is no more curse but the throne of God and of the Lamb is in it that concludes the whole prophetic word of redemption, once the son ship is over! Jesus Christ in his eternal glory is the eternal God.
  • Fornication is fornication, regardless of who is doing it, is it not?
How quickly we pass judgment when it is not our place, but God's, to do so...
  • Dean on Deuteronomy 7
I believe the purpose of the command was to remove all temptation from the Hebrews. We know in history that the Hebrews did not follow the command. So, can we ask the question - Could the problems in the Middle East today have been avoided had the Hebrews obeyed God and killed every living thing in Cannan back in the day?
