  • Marti on Psalms 83
This is to the question from NOTWíS : "so how did you come up with Jehovah?" The word Jehovah is the grammatically correct English word structure for Yahweh as found in the Oxford English Lexicon/Dictionary when one looks up the word Yahweh in that dictionary.
  • Dale on Galatians 5
Has God or Christ, ever had to retract a Command or a particular Action of Authority ; and to whom and of what action was this done???
  • Shirley castle on Acts 10
GODíS WORD SAYS THAT IN THE MOUTH OF 2 OR 3 WITNESSES EVERY WORD WILL BE ESTABLISHED. SO IN LIGHT OF THAT I WILL SHARE A FEW TRUTHS ON GODíS PLAN OF SALVATION. IN ACTS 2:38 SEE THE ANSWER HE GAVE WHEN ASKED ĎíMEN AND BRETHERN WHAT SHALL WE DO?íí PETER ANSWERED IN VERSE 38...REPENT, AND BE BAPTIZED EVERY ONE OF YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS, AND YE SHALL RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY GHOST. WE FIND THAT THIS IS WITNESSED IN ACTS 10:34-48. AND ALSO IN ACTS 19 :1-7. MAY GOD OPEN EVERY EYE AND HEART TO THIS TRUTH. YOU WILL NOT FIND ONE WITNES TO BAPTISM USING THE WORDS FATHER, SON OR HOLY GHOST, BECAUSE FATHER IS NOT A NAME, SON IS NOT A NAME AND HOLY GHOST IS NOT A NAME,JESUS IS HIS NAME...
  • LAK on Genesis 19
Doesn't anyone question the incest ????
  • Lin on Genesis 3
I have a confusing question. Our Heavenly Father God, Creator of the world. He created man, Adam, as God called him. Adam was made before the Garden eastward of Eden. He placed Adam in the Garden, eastward of Eden, to till and tend it. Adam named all the animals of the world. In the Garden of Eden there was 2 trees one of Life and another the tree of knowledge of good and evil. When God placed Adam in the Garden, God told him Adam the rules commanded of the Garden, of every tree of the garden thou may eat freely. BUT the tree of knowledge of good and evil thou shalt not eat. What is the tree of life referring to? Being there were 2 important trees mentioned. Then after Adam named all animals etc, he saw there was not one help meet for him. So God caused deep sleep upon him. For God took a rib from Adam to form and created a woman. Yet the woman was not named Eve until the serpent beguiled her, of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Did Adam tell the women of Gods commands of the tree of knowledge? For it says God spoke to Adam of the command before God made the woman. Yet in Chapter 3, the serpent tricked her, what form was the serpent in to talk to the woman, to be saying she could eat of the tree. Yet she said God said no. Then God removed them from the Garden of Eden.\r\n
  • Justus David on Psalms 103
Which verse shall I pick from this wonderful Psalm to glorify my God? Just one for today "He redeemeth thy life from destruction" I was destined for hell sure as hell (pardon me) but God alone had the power to redeem my soul from destruction; this has finally happened in my 69th year, would you believe it?! All praise and glory to God through my redeemer King Jesus! So, regardless of your age or station in life, whether in death-row or locked up in a brothel, unable to escape, accept Lord Jesus as your personal savior right now my Brother/Sister, and be redeemed even as I was redeemed, even I!! Amen
  • Rebecca on Psalms 1
Have you ever notice the various "postures" described in this Psalm? Standing, sitting, walking, way...this is more than just practical, it is the "inside" of us that needs to be aware.
  • Onsando denis on Genesis 1
Surely God made a very big change in the beginning. There was nothing but GOD created everything. A big change really! What do you need to change in your life? Just contemplate.
  • Carlos on Revelation 4
Are we alone in the universe, extraterrestrial creatures or monsters....unlike satans demons and workers ....who are to this day loyal to the one...science fiction or reality?
  • Casey on Leviticus 11
In spite of clear cut instructions in US and all of over East Asia, people salivate at pork products, snakes and other unclean things. Though consciously one should aspire not to eat these unclean things. I have this question about a verse in the Bible wherein Jesus says Itís not what goes into your mouth that defiles you; you are defiled by the words that come out of your mouth.Ē and explains this verse below ďDonít you understand yet?Ē Jesus asked. 17 ďAnything you eat passes through the stomach and then goes into the sewer. 18 But the words you speak come from the heartóthatís what defiles you. 19 For from the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, all sexual immorality, theft, lying, and slander. These are what defile you. Eating with unwashed hands will never defile you.Ē now note Lord Jesus has mentioned eating with unwashed hands will never defile you ( does it included what the unclean animals too or just the clean animals eaten with unwashed hands)?
  • Daniel on Genesis 9
Noah was selected by God, to bring life back to the earth that was just destroyed, from what I understand to be overwhelming negativity and tyranny born into all men.

Noah then proceeds to get himself drunk and fall asleep nude, before God, and his family. Is this to imply that all men are inherently flawed?
  • Tsering on Matthew 5
5.41 Life is a journey, full of tests and obstacles. Believe that God is with you and put out your best efforts to overcome the obstacles, how can you not go that extra mile or even more?
  • Timothy Wayne George on Proverbs 17
Will you be a friend to someone, who is in need of a friend today? A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. My parents had six children, and the last two where boys. My mom said the first four kids, two boys, and two girls where to be the only children. Well God had other plans, and I remember this verse always. God knows the end, from the beginning, and He knew my parents needed two extra friends. Thank God for your children, for they are your friends, and they will love you always. When adversity comes, they will be there to help you. God does not make mistakes, and He knows just how many children you need. When we get to heaven, then will we be able to rejoice with all the friends that God blessed us to have.
  • Bwalya. on Mark 1
Itís so amazing to see how much power and authority Christ Jesus has, and even more wonderful to realize that He has given us the some power even beyond, to everyone of us who accepts his invitation as His disciples did, isnít this winsome?.
  • Paul on Psalms 106
Focusing on verses 13 to 15 for the moment, although I guess to much of the Psalm, it applies to their fundamental sin, which was a lack of trust in God's goodness [an egocentric world view]...that He would provide them with the 'food' they needed in His perfect timing?
  • David on Mark 15
My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? Jesus was not forsaken by God, Jesus was teaching us his word, as it was written years before his crucifixion. Psalms Chapter 22 as confirmation that his word is true. Believe in his entire word as gospel or don't, it\\\'s your choice, God or the devil.
  • Marnie on Isaiah 9
Jeff and Jacques ... Matthew 28:19 ... The words of Jesus Christ ... "go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" ... Whose word is more important? The word of Peter or the word of Jesus Christ, the Son of God?
  • Q powers on Job 11
WHAT I GET FROM THIS IS THAT NONE IS WORTHTY IN FRONT OF GOD. WE MUST STAY HUMBLE AND PRAY, AND KNOW THAT GOD WILL ANSWER US IN HIS WAY & TIME. IT"S HARD WHEN TROUBLE COMES, BUT FAITH MUST SET IN.
  • Evalena Latham on Psalms 27
Ps 27:1 The Lord is light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? This is a great joy to me to know and believe with all of my heart, that I no longer have to fear any man or any circumstance; for God is always with me. When the spirit of fear comes upon me, I can now by the power of God through Jesus Christ, refuse to yeild to it. Thank you Jesus for setting me free from fear now and forever. You are my joy and peace.
  • Michelle on Numbers 16
So God listened to Moses when they were in the wilderness. God knows the future. He knew that the children in the wilderness had no faith that they would be able to enter into the Canaan land.
  • I think that this scripture is very comforting, but I also believe that we are going to go through some really hard times before Christ returns. I don\\\'t think that just because we have sat on the pews all these years it guarrentees you an exit from tribulations. Are we more special than those in the bible? They were beaten, saw in half, put in prison, beheaded for believing in Jesus what makes you think you gonna have it so easy?
  • Glenda Kier on 1 John 5:7
I believe the three are separate. For a thousand years we were taught lies, we were taught to believe the Father and the son are the same, but scriptures tell us they aren't. The Messiah, did a lot of praying, so who did He pray to Himself? No! He prayed to the Father, When He say no one knows the time of the end, but my Father...why would He say that if He was the Father? He also says that He now sits at the right hand of the Father, how can that be if He is the Father? We must understand, when the Word says these three are one, it means they are bound together as one. Just like when two people get married, they are joined together as one, but clearly we can see two separate people.
  • Kevin on Psalms 83
I agree with many here that the removal of God's name from his own book was a part of the apostate prophecy Paul talked about and also what was meant when Jesus said the road to life is cramped and few are finding it. Nobody in the main stream of Christianity knows God's name has been removed nearly 7,000 times in the Hebrew Scriptures alone. Who freely use and support his name? His witnesses do. Look in the front of your Bible and in many it offers a reason for the removal of Gods name but ask yourself, what man made reason is there to remove God's name from his own book that HE wrote? Was he wrong in putting his name in his book?
  • Sam on Revelation 1
Short and simple symbolic hair white as snow like wool? A lamb for the slaughter for the sins of this world. All things described are symbolic, has nothing absolutely nothing to do with race. God sees no color he loves us as people, there will be no race in heaven, no marriage. Jew, white, black donít matter. So are you forgiven? Are you his child?
  • Grant on Isaiah 45
I wonder what the trinitarians think when they come across Isaiah 45:18. God himself says there is no one else, but they say there are two other Gods. Is God saying there are three in one? If there were, he would have said so.
  • Andrť on 2 Kings 19
    @Thomas,
Because both sections are telling the same story. In fact there would have been a problem if they were contradicting each other over the same story, but exact copy is not a problem at all.
Now did the chronicler of the kings of Israel insert that section of the book of Isaiah in the book of kings? that we can not tell, what is true is that both books were written under Godís inspiration. And the exact likeness just proves the author is but one, God, with different writers, Isaiah and the chronicler.
  • Thomas colbert on 2 Kings 19
I would like to know why 2 Kings 19 reads exactly like Isaiah 37 word for word, does anyone know?
  • Robert on James 3
Truly stated, How often are all wars of hate started? By one mans thoughts given to him by some one other power than God's, Then poison is past along by evil of the heart, lies cost lives and we know who is the father of lies. On the other hand we can chose to beleive God and live in peace, but we have chosen wrong and have trusted in the lies of the very words we chose to speak. Be carful with what we say and to whom that gives glory.
  • Josh on Genesis 4:13
Did Cain honestly expect to kill someone and think he would get away with it? Well, when your in Gods presence, you get away with nothing!
  • Josh on Genesis 4:9
"Where is Abel thy brother?" God asks Cain. Now, any scoffer will look at this verse and say; "If God really IS all-knowing then why is he asking Cain a question if he should already know the answer?" Well its very simple; God IS all-knowing so he will not ask a question when he knows the answer. He asked Cain that question to test his honesty! Then Cain says he doesn't know. So he just lied to God, which is a VERY BIG mistake!
