    FROM THE DAYS OF JOHN.....UNTIL..
THIS VERSE CLEARLY INDICATES AN INITIATION POINT FROM WHICH THE KINGDOM BEGAN TO SUFFER VIOLENCE:

QI: WHAT OBTAINED PREVIOUS TO THIS EVENT AS PERTAINS VIOLENCE TO THE KINGDOM?
AI: MY BELIEF IS THAT THE VERSE SHOULD NOT BE VIEWED IN THE WIDER CONTEXT OF THE AGE OLD BATTLE OF GOOD AND EVIL BUT RATHER IN THE CONTEXT OF SOMETHING WHICH WAS POSSIBLE FROM THE TIME OF JOHN. THAT IS THE MESSAGE OF JOHN THAT THE POSSIBILITY NOW EXISTED FOR MANKIND TO ACCESS THE KINGDOM OF GOD WITH ALL THE MERITS OF SONSHIP, INHERITANCE THROUGH FORGIVENESS, POWER, AUTHORITY AND RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD. THIS WAS A RADICAL REDEFINING OF THE OPERATIONAL MODE OF THE RELATIONSHIP OF LAW AND RITUALS WHICH PREVIOUSLY EXISTED TILL THEN.

FORCEFUL MEN LAY HOLD OF IT:

THIS CLEARLY INDICATES THE NEED OF CONCERTED EFFORT REPRESENTED IN EG. CONSTANCY, DEFERMENT OF LEGITIMATE CARES, DENYING OF SELF ETC. IN ORDER TO ACCOMPLISH, BUT IT IS TOTALLY POSSIBLE; REMEMBER FORCEFUL MEN ARE TAKING HOLD OF IT. IN A PERSONAL DIMENSION KINGDOM CAN BE VIEWED AS THE RULERSHIP OF GOD IN OUR DIMENSIONS OF LIFE! WE CAN THEREFORE NOW CHALLENGE FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS, PEACE, LACK, SINCERE FRIENSHIPS, SELF PERFECTION AFTER GOD (AS HEAVENLY FATHER IS PERFECT) ETC. A WORLD OF POSSIBLITIES BY ACCESSING GODLY RESOURCE NOW AVAILABLE WITH THE SPIRIT OF OLD MODELS LIKE JOSHUA AND CALEB

@ Ruth Ann, I've counted the names numerous times and come up with 34 minus Er and Onan makes 32. I cannot derive 33 souls with the names given in this chapter and I'm not counting Pharez twice. Please help me to understand how there are 33?

    DELE DANIEL's & Idowu Isaiah A's:
In regards to your comments about Jesus and God being "ONE" You are absolutely correct in that Jesus said he and the Father are One.

But neither one of you quoted John 17:20 where Jesus stated: "that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me."

According to Jesus's own words all of his followers are ONE with him and with the Father. Does that mean that we are all GOD as well?
  • David James on Romans 8
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

So, so powerful. Their love is a strength we will never comprehend. Maybe not even all of the love of his children combined can amount.
  • Onesoulwon on Matthew 24
The time of the Rapture, is one of the most studied, preached, discussed (sometimes even argued) subjects in the Bible Some scholars say pre-tribulation, others mid- tribulation, others post- tribulation. Individual beliefs on the subject are usually very strong. But, let me bring something to your attention. Whether the Rapture occurs tonight, tomorrow, or even 1000 yrs from now, we should all be more concerned with our own, personal "Rapture". You see, upon the death of an individual, everything is settled at that point for that individual. There will be no second chance, no time to reconsider, no concern about the Rapture of the Church. As of that moment, your eternal dwelling place, either Heaven or Hell, will already be decided. Therefore, I would like to encourage each individual to seriously consider his or her relationship with God. Have you been "born again"? Are you walking closely with Him? Is the Holy Ghost your guide? If your answer is "no" to either of these question, don't be thinking about the Rapture of the Church. Align "your" life, "your" relationship with Jesus Christ now, before it is TOO LATE!!!

  • Mr. David Vopal on Romans 1
Romans chapter one is, I believe, a portrait of God’s infinite righteousness. In these opening verses of the Book of Romans, we are introduced to the righteous God-man who planned, designed, promised and fulfilled His glorious Gospel. We also meet “Paul” a man who was made righteous by that Gospel. In these verses, we discover the power of God to keep His promises; resurrection power to bring life out of death; and salvation power to all who believe.
The apostle Paul represents all true believers who first encounter the power of God to transform lives and the objectives of God. Someone has said, “A believer is one who has an on-going desire to do the will of God from the heart.” The first chapter of Romans certainly indicates that fact. Here, in the opening verses of the Book of Romans we are given a picture of what a believer looks like spiritually; and why she or he does what they do.
This is a wonderful example of how a believer serves God and man by submitting to the will of God, and too thankfully and tirelessly brings the message of the true Gospel: even if it is, only an unspoken message lived out by a good example shown to others.
May God richly bless you, and thank you?
  • One on Galatians 4
Young Children, Understand that, the Law is not our obligation, to receive, or keep our salvation:

But it is are lamp to see God's will.... And when we desire a close relationship with God; we will start to pray, more than what we already do; We'll start to Scarface more of our time, and even our bodies: denying ourselves food for days; replacing our indulgence of food, with praise and worship to God, for the hole time that we fast. .... For through observation we see that God requires a sacrifice; one out of many, and most important examples is Jesus Christ, but the Bible says in 1 Samuel 15:22,that, "Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold,TO OBEY IS BETTER THAN SACRIFICE, and to hearken than the fat of rams". .....

So the law is like a mirror; showing us, how close or how far we are from God, cause the closer we are to God: the more in-line we will be with the Law. ... And to back up that quote is the scripture 1 John 5:13, and it says, "For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments". .... So the more we Love God, the more righteous we will become through his ***istance; not by our works of the Law; but through are level of relationship with him.
  • Mprince on Matthew 3
Lev, I believe it means that we must be willing to endure persecution. Romans 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
Matthew 20:22 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.

  • Mark on John 5
Can anyone explain why these two scriptures are in direct contradiction to each other?

    John 5,31
If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.

    John 8,18
I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.

In both scriptures Jesus is speaking, They are written by the same writer, I don't understand, I thought the Bible was infallible,
What is the truth? Does Jesus bear witness of himself or not?
  • Lev on Matthew 3:15
    Sorry, part of the text was missing in my previous letter; Please, reply me on this one;

    I'm not native in English language, but still have a great desire to be able to understand each word, that belongs to Jesus Christ;
    My question would be:
1 Corinthians 4:12 sentence ends like that ,,being persecuted, we suffer it"
In this case, ,,suffer it" means - "to bear" right?

I know, that "suffer" also means - "allow someone to do something" but, I think, "bear it to be so now" might be proper, also.

    Please, help me understand. .

  • Tom Goff on 2 Timothy 3:16
All scripture is 'God Breathed' straight from the mouth of God. THAT is God talking to you. Even as important as if you heard his voice speaking aloud personally just to you. Remember Moses? We should say , " Yes Lord!" each time we read His Word.
  • Tom Goff on 1 Corinthians 2:14
1 cor 2:14 helps the believer come to terms in his or her own mind with those to whom we have spoken the word of God, and they have rejected the idea of God's Word. It gives us the 'why?' answer we so desire. God's Word is so life changing, so awesome, the non acceptance of it seems impossible to us. It is our responsibility to hold it forth with all our ability, but it is not up to us who receives it and who rejects it. We do our job by speaking it in love.

Does anyone know what the mark was that Cain received?
  • Connie Moore on Acts 20:24
Why is the part "with joy" omitted from many of the translations? Could it be that we have a difficult time associating suffering and self-denial with having joy? Maybe Paul wanted to convey that he did not count his life in the world as important because he wanted to be able to be a cheerful giver of himself to the Lord.

  • Thomas Elkan on Psalms 83:18
Amazing, then please explain to me as a person that does not reside in a SPECIFIC church organization, why it is that in TRUTH the name YHWH or JEHOVAH is actually used over 6500+ times throughout the BIBLE. It's God's name right? It's also a way for the reader to be able to see the separation and difference between FATHER and SON. Or is it because in our quest to abbreviate things it's shorter just to say GOD? Just curious.
  • ET - phoning home on Ephesians 6:12
The Holy Spirit reminding us, through Paul, who our real enemy is: NOT people, those living in darkness around us, (once we were no different to them Eph:2). Remember, WE ARE ONLY SAVED BY GRACE - Jesus Blood washed us and is the only cure for our addiction to sin - He can do the same for ALL who turn to Him no matter their plight. The battle is the Lord's - but He asks us to 'wrestle' in prayer for them. ARE WE CHURCH?
  • Ps. Emmanuel on Revelation 13:3
Whatever battle we are fighting for Christ, we have to fight it to the end, whatever race we are running for Christ, until we have come to the finishing point we can't give up. Paul in the book of Gala 4:19 said, my children, I am suffering birth pains for you again until Christ is formed in you.
Until Christ was formed in the hearts of the Galatians He was not going to be free from BIRTH PAINS. I believe we all know what BIRTH PAINS ARE?
The head of the beast was brutally wounded meaning it was engage in fiercest BATTLE (Rev. 3:14) but it was not killed.
You see David after killing Goliath rushed unto the dead huge giant and cut of the Head. We have to finish the fight we are fighting for Christ on earth and finish the race we are running for our Lord here. After the beast was healed, we saw what it did. (Rev. 3:11-18)
My point is whatever we are doing for Christ, if it has to be DONE, has to be DONEWELL. We have to the take it to the FINISHING POINT. We can’t live it half finished. Other than that it will come back strong to hunt us. BE BLESSED.

  • Tyrone on Mark 1
what was Moses law Jesus was telling the sick man to follow?
  • Lance Mahan on Acts 2
Isaiah 9:6 tells us who Jesus really is. He is the Son, Father and God. Jesus is the name you should be baptized in.(Acts 2:38,19:5,10:48,8:37-38)(2 Cor 3:1) Out of the mouths of two or three shall the word of God be established. Many times did the scriptures say Jesus name baptism but only once did it sayin the name of Father and the Son and the Holy Ghost(Matthew 28:19) If you put them all together you get the name and that is Jesus. (Luke 24:47) tells where and what name should remissions of sins and repentence should be preached. Matt, Mark, Luke and John are the books that tell of Jesus's birth, life ,death and resurrection and the resurrection begins in the book of acts and is the beginning of the Church. Jesus gave Peter the authority to speak on the day of pentecost in St John(21:15-17)(Acts 1:2) as well as the first chapter of Acts, whom Jesus chose the apostles.
People try to say well who told the apostles to go and baptize in Matthew 28:19? Jesus of course, I agree but who stopped Saul/Paul on the way to Damascus? The same Jesus? YES! Paul baptized in what way and name? Jesus.(Acts 19:5) No other name(Acts 4:12) as well as One Lord, One Faith and one Baptism (eph 4:5) People will jump over the book of Acts because of what ever reason. Acts opens up the name. If you don't believe me see what is done in Jesus name in the book of Acts. Do a study but before you do it pray to Jesus and ask for wisdom.

    Jesus Bless
  • What kind of people have to rise before there can be the rapture?

    dead in Christ

So the rapture is after the time of those dying for their faith in Rev. 14, because there they are going to die in the Lord.

"dead which die in the Lord from henceforth"

This is the chapter where John saw the resurrection of the just and the rapture - as he saw the earth reaped.
  • Israel on Romans 8:26
I think the difference of the word intercession in the greek gives some light to this as well. The Greek word for Intercession in verse 26 is slightly different than in verse 27. The main difference is the preposition 'Huper', which is part of the word Intercession in verse 26, but not in verse 27. Since the preposition 'Huper' means both: In Behalf Of and Above in Time, honor, and position; this intercession is that of the Holy Spirit's (which is Above us in time, honor and position) and intercedes with our spirit. And since the Holy Spirit knows our infirmities and our hearts in creates this intercesssion. Any Opinions??
  • Kini on Malachi 2:16
There is an inherent guilt when we are trying to do things that we know are wrong. How would you act if you were always worried about being exposed for things you feel guilty for? Would that shape you? The Bible says yes. It is the person who doesn’t try to cut corners at other people’s expense who can sleep well at night. The security of integrity is far greater than the anxieties that come with any wealth created by corrupt practices.
