  • Cathy on Proverbs 4:7
Get wisdom, and keep on getting it filled with insight (understanding.) Knowledge alone doesn't help if you don't have wisdom, so acquire wisdom. Knowledge teaches you how to load a gun. But only wisdom would know when you should pull the trigger.. without that insight, you'd be a loaded gun, an accident looking for a place to happen! Get wisdom, and with all your getting, get understanding. How??? Through your spiritual relation with Christ. Let Him live richly in you, He will impart God's wisdom to you. He will make you wise. Obey Him, Listen to Him, and He will make you wise. Understand it's not your own thinking, it's His.
  • Timothy on Ruth 1
how far does our faith go? do we give up when afflictions come or we are willing to continue in love like Ruth to Naomi? the story of Noami and Ruth really encourages me in this age we live. may God help me to continue holding on to Him through our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Concern Sister on Ezekiel 33
What a prophetic picture of God's desire for the men & women of God today to fulfill the mandate of the great commission. " For ye all shall prophesy!' I heard of a wonderful message preached called ..." Don't Get Caught Red Handed" Perhaps those of you who are Pastors, Elders, or Ministers should take the liberty to preach that in your next gathering. After all it is time to " **** the trumpet as never before. Amen?
  • Concern Sister on Revelation 1
As I read your comment I was reminded of something that I experienced early one morning back in 2010. As I lay in bed, I heard these words, " Deception Wears A Fašade." Immediately that scripture came to my remembrance. That is also a reminder of what Jesus told the disciples in Matthew chapter 24, as one of the major signs of the end times, we're in those times right now, so we need to be sober and vigilant to be able to discern the Spirit of truth from the spirit of error..Amen? Watch and Pray!
  • Joe V on Matthew 10:32
The other day, my wife and her brother were discussing confession. I am a catholic and I was taught that confession was good so our sins can be forgiven. The debate went back and forth as she needs to go to church so she can go to confession. The debate started to turn into an argument and they tried to bring me in as to who is right or wrong. I am far from being a scholar in theology so I just stated that I don't know the answer. I did a little research to find Matthew 10:32. As I read this paragraph, I realized that confess is to give public acknowledgment of your faith and not specifically to confessing your sins. I tactfully want to tell my brother-in-law that my wife can confess her sins to Jesus in a private manner, is this sufficient to forgive your sins ? Among family, she tell them she love Jesus and God, is this sufficient to meet the confession requirement ?
  • Norman Trought on Judges 5:18
    What does 5:18 mean?
  • Concern Sister on Leviticus 21
Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Why would you want to defile it by any means? I really believe that if God wanted you to have Tattoo He would have given you a birth mark ok?
Nevertheless, there are those individuals who have not come into the knowledge of that truth according to scripture and have already made that mistake, but God is merciful, and will forgive our ignorance. Now once you come into the knowledge of the truth, He expects us to adhere to His word. Amen? If you already have a tattoo or cuts, or piercing on your body before giving your life to Christ; He will forgive this sin, so don't allow the enemy to stop you from coming to God just as you are. In the end you get a new body, Praise God for that. Now that you know the truth walk in it whole heart, mind and body!
  • Miss Wendie on Psalms 115
Now, why do so many hold on to the belief that humans are going to heaven? the scripture clearly shows that God has ***igned humans to reside on the earth and has reserved the heavens for himself.
  • Nqobile Mbona on Job 2
This poses a challenge on me that if satan is doing God's will why then am I not doing it? God told satan what to do with Job and he went to do just that and nothing more! Also Job truly understood God's Supremacy, because in tough times we tend to rebuke & bind things which God has permitted, therefore speaking against our Creator.
  • Jerome Adams on Exodus 30:12
What does this verse have in common with Samuel 24-1. Note that in Exodus 30:12, the punishment for not paying the ransom for the soul was a plague. In David's census, was this ransom required and was it paid? In Davids census, it was his sin, and if so, was the ransom not being paid by the people the justification for the legality of the plague killing 70,000 people instead of just punishing David. (as was the situation of David and Bethsheba and the death of the child)
  • Rev. Autrey on Isaiah 45
In this verse God says, "Look unto me, and be ye saved." It is translated in another translation, "Let all the world look to me for salvation." But isn't Jesus the one who saves us? This means that Jesus is the way God saves us.
Then, the Father does not save us, nor does the Holy Spirit.

This makes sense when we realize that these are the personalities or persons of God, with each doing a specific job. Peter said it this way. "For Jesus is referred to in the Scriptures, where it says' 'The stone that you builders rejected has now become the conerstone.' There is salvation in no one else! There is no other name in all of heaven for people to call on to same them.' It makes sense then that if the name of Jesus is the only name to be called on to be saved, then we must direct our prayers to God through the personality of God who bears this name.

Listen to this prayer by the early saints. "O Sovereign Lord, creator of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them. ...(Acts 4:24) Isn't Jesus the one who is the creator of everything there is? John 1:3 says that he is! "He created everything there is. Nothing exists that he didn't make. Life itself was in him...."

    O' that we may understand!
  • Lance on Revelation 6
Wow really all these opinions on the book of revelation I am shocked! Well preacher men Christ would be there for me if any of this stuff happens? I mean some of it is pretty scary you should hear my opinions!
  • Bruce on Hebrews 10:26
As with all of the scripture, this verse needs to be interpreted within the context of what the writer is addressing. My understanding of this letter is that it is addressing Hebrew believers who, enduring great persecution, were returning back to the practices of Judaism. This is one of the reasons why the writer is spending so much time expounding the surp***ing excellency of Christ and the New Covenant in comparison with Moses and the Old. My understanding of this particular p***age is that the writer is not merely addressing a falling into sin or even the willful choice to sin (is not all sin, a choice of the will?). Instead, I believe the writer is addressing the forsaking of the faith in Christ and returning to the Jewish faith. If we look at it that way, it would be easy to understand that 'there remaineth no more sacrifice for sin because the only effectual sacrifice is that of Christ on the cross which the apostate has abandoned and to return to the old order is to go back to a mode of sacrifice which has been rendered ineffective in that the sacrifices of the old order have been replaced by the sacrifice of the Lamb of God. In short, to turn away from the New Covenant is to reject the only effective means of the cleansing of sin and be left with no means for cleansing whatsoever.
  • Liz on Genesis 1:27
Who did Cain marry??? this is a big question to all Christians...
  • Susanne Rivera on Luke 12:46
    The lord of that servant will come at a time when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not ready for him, and he will have him cut in two and will give him his part in the fate of those who have no faith;
    - Basic English Bible

I believe that the Christian who know God's word but are not prepared to do for His kingdom, play foolishly, waste their time to enjoy worldly and or busy for Him, and act like unbelievers, even though they know His word. They have a responsible but ignore His command, Word. They don't look up forward to Him. Then Jesus will cut them off to put with the unbelivers, hypocrites, and unfaithful. They will receive some stripes to beat in Hell. A verse said that without work faith is dead. Do you agree? Thanks, Susanne
  • Lailie on Revelation 1
when you read the scriptures and it says Satan comes looking like a lamb and speaks as a dragon. Think of instead of Christ which means anti-Christ. Then think about what Daniel told us that the vile one takes over with peace and flatteries. In reading scripture take in every word as when Christ told us he foretold us all things and think when you come across where Christ tells us in Rev. he shorten the time to 5 months and think why? He said to us he shorten it for the elect sake. Elect means the set a side ones or if you check the word out you will find it is church. The elect are the true church and they will stand against Satan with their gospel armor on and in place. The deeds haven't changed only the time. Lailie
  • Sister Cleaveland on Zechariah 5
Could the flying scroll be satellite technology, & the two women symbolically the two women we see in Revelation 12 & 17? The land of Shinar, is that modern day Iraq? As I read this text it reminded me of how the enemy has infiltrated this technology to the point of Identity theft, porn you name it its happening through this technology.
  • Darby on Philippians 4:13
Why does the King James version use the word "which" instead of "who" in this verse?
  • BManuel on Acts 5:32
Obedience begins from a faith filled heart, a faith filled person. "So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God." People involved in the murder of Jesus Christ on the cross believed and they sought to obey the Lord. They realized the horrible act they were guilty of and they did not want to die in their sins and be separated from the presence of God forever. ". . . Men and brethren what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For this promise is unto you, and your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call." Those who heeded the gospel call believed and obeyed and received. Time and distance were not excepted, but included in the expression "all that are afar off." Then obedience is to be continued all the way to the end. It is not an impulsive now and then belief and obedience, but a continuous belief and obedience to the teachings of the New Testament. Not happy? Not satisfied with life? Feeling empty? Feeling shame and guilt? Feeling destroyed by something or someone? Try believing in and obeying Jesus Christ. Try it on and keep it up, on and on and on.
  • Marvin Miller on Mark 8:24
Wasn't this man taken alone from the village? How could he see men walking as trees if there were no others but Jesus with him? Maybe he mistook trees as men to start with since he hadn't seen a tree, but probably felt their bark, trunks and limbs.
  • RICK on Matthew 1
king james was a black men yes?
  • Glen Thomlison on Leviticus 21:5
For the Jew, if they follow the faith, they must realize God had reasons, those reasons he explains. I must concur with his wisdom.
As for me as a Christian, I live under his dispensation of faith, now law. I shave, nevertheless, not considering that heathenish, I do consider cutting the flesh and making indelible markings thereupon, a heathen practice and I do not subscribe to it. Is is sin? For me it is, and I am surprised that so many claiming to live as a follower of Christ do the tattoo.
    As for me . . . Glen
  • Rev. Autrey on Matthew 1
Brothers, we do not have 2 Gods, we have one. And his name is Jesus. This is what the prophet meant when he said, "Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and he will be called Immanuel, meaning God is with us."

Jesus is God because he is the way God speaks to us. Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in no one else! There is no other name in all of heaven for people to call on to save them."

So the announcment is, THE GOD WE ARE LOOKING FOR IS JESUS!

But what of the Father and the Holy Spirit? The Father is the way God makes his decisions, and the Holy Spirit is the way God inspires us. But Jesus is the way God saves us.

If you did not know this before, God in his mercy sometimes winks at our ignorance. He did this in Jesus' time. Nicodemus was like this. And so was the theif on the cross. He said "this man has done nothing wrong." Still, both would have acknowledged him as God if they had understood.

But people who stubernly reject him, even when they have been told, cannot be saved. Yes, this is a bitter statement, but it is true. Jesus said it this way in John 8:24, "That is why I said that you will die in your sins, for unless you believe that I am who I say I am. you will die in your sins."

  • Louis Marchini on 1 Corinthians 6:13
I'm confused. At the (Last supper) Christ said he would not eat or drink again until the new kingdom. 1 Corinthians 6:13 says God will do away with stomachs and food. Is this a contradiction? Kindly answer me. Thank You & God bless.
  • Blackjohnny on Revelation 13:3
Comatose for seven years, Israel's iconic former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is showing signs of "significant brain activity."

The 84-year-old suffered a devastating stroke January 4, 2006, and a brain hemorrhage. He was presumed to be in a vegetative state. But on Monday Jan 28, 2013, a team of surprised neuroscientists and doctors said Sharon's brain appeared to respond when they showed him pictures of his family and had him listen to his son's voice. Doctors also used tactile stimuli to measure Sharon's brain reaction.

Does this mean the man Israelis once dubbed the "Lion of God" could wake? Doctors have urged caution and are extremely skeptical.

Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri revealed the name of the Messiah before he died! He was a renowned Mizrahi Haredi a teacher and highly respected master devoted to the Jewish faith devoting his entire life to the study of the Torah. A man who lived beyound 108 years, Kaduri revealed the name of Jesus as the Messiah in a note 1 year after his death. The Orthodox Rabbi also mentions the second coming of Jesus will occur shortly after Sharon's death. Sharon has yet to suc***b to his deadly stroke that has left him comatosed for over 7 years. The question begs itself, is Sharon the one whose head wound will be healed and everyone in the world will be amazed and follow him? If Rabbi Kaduri is correct in his revelation the Lord Jesus will appear to Israel shortly after Sharon's death. You can Youtube a short bio on Kaduri and perhaps ascertain the information on your own. We all have epiphanies and come across information unwillingly. My connection happened today, I was not searching for anything in particular, the Lord came to me like a thief, unexpectedly, and I typed in the verse of revelation and came to this page and site that I have never visited, and I thought why not share and reveal the information. God Bless.
  • DaveFromEvart on Mark 1
@Tyrone, Moses's Law, was describes as God's Law to Moses, would be the 10 Commandments. In this day and age, there is no fear of singing the praises of God's healing prayers. In fact, just think if all you got, was what you thanked God for each day?
  • Dianne on Colossians 3
Commenting on 3:3....For ye are dead and your life is hid wit Christ in God! Powerful! sums it up for us because dead people can't lie cheat or steal...they can't do anything. So if we're dead to sin, why are we still acting as though we are alive? God forbid! Give it up and allow Christ to dominate!
  • Abonaba Aminu on Jeremiah 8:8
Do you believe this part of the bible is false? What can you say about it?
  • Victoria Goacher on Isaiah 11:6
This is the picture of heaven on earth "thy kingdom come, thy will be done." Daddy has always promised the promise land, and His word still is true. He never lies, He wants to see who will fight in this kingdom to rule and reign with Him.

This is a kingdom where there is peace, and joy, and love like Timothy stated. Daddy has always had this plan, and it brought through a child, name Yeshua (Jesus Christ of Nazareth). We are to be like small children coming to Him, so that He may impart Yahveh's (God)wisdom, revelation, truth, and righteousness into us by the Word spoken (John 1:1),to those who believe. Do you believe?
