  • Walt on Genesis 48:20
who is 'thee' in this verse? God make thee as Ephraim and as Manasseh: and he set Ephraim before Manasseh. I can not make any sense of it or find any commentary. Everyone speaks to the order only.
  • Rick on Romans 1
Rom 1:28 says God gave them over to a reprobate mind. If you are given over to something that has a mind, which dead matter doesn't have, then who do you suppose the reprobate mind is? I Cor 5:5 tells you who that reprobate is, for the adulterer there was turned over to the same reprobate mind that Paul is talking about here. And I Tim. 1:20 says the same of Alexander and Hymenaeus.

I just want to share about the "heart"
When Adam & Eve ate the knowledge of good & evil, my conclusion is that all people have the good & evil that stored up in the heart.
So the heart dictating a man what to say or to do, according to what is in the heart. It is the storage of "good & evil".

Now, what will happen when the man's heart transplanted by another heart? What wil happen to the good & evil that was stored up in his heart, will it be change?
  • Brooke Padgett on Luke 7
Or had the Spirit left John at this point and that is why he didn't recognize Jesus?? When before John exclaimed " Behold the Lamb of God!" Or leaped for joy in Elizabeth's womb when Mary entered the house,he already had the Spirit and the Spirit recognized Him then, so why the need to question?

I heard a minister a few years ago on television, teach that when Jonah came out of the fish, the stomach acid from the fish, took all of Jonah's hair. His skin was red, and sensitive to the sun. Is that anywhere in the study of Jonah?

In this family there is a special relationship to God. There are no outsiders, not in heaven or in earth. That family is related by the blood and covenant. His named is placed on the family to identify who they are . His name has some power and responsibilities with it. What is the name of the family? There is only one name and that is Jesus.
  • Teresa on Exodus 16:36
I'm thinking that this verse,"Now an omer is the tenth part of an ephan." Can this also be a correlation to our tithes offerings which is a tenth of our giving back to the Lord for blessing us too?

It is offensive for us to compete with each other in any manner. There is no place for such wordliness amongst God's servants. Do we not all serve the same God? Is not all of our goals the same one. To glorify the one True and Living God!

I have a question, my soon to be twelve year old daughter who has been blessed by the gift of speaking in tounges went to church Friday night and spoke in tounges she was so excited ! The next day she was getting ready for her dad to pick her up and put on a pair of jeans . When she walked into the living room , her grandfather saw her and said, You won't have the holy ghost no more if you wear jeans! Is this true?
  • Solomon Mmutlana on Romans 8:16
I see two spirits here (1) My spirit
    (2) God's spirit
Now it is so good for me, once God's spirit can communicate with my spirit, and the first thing being,to let my spirit know that i am a child of
God and my spirit also agree to that. What a great
revelation to me!. It says to me in life two spirits are always talking but the thing is do they agree?Once they agree life becomes simple because we start to know God as our Father because
we are His children. Haleluya Amen
  • David E. Phelps on 1 Esdras 5
I believe it is a very sad and great loss to the world; when a man with just the powers of a mortal king, orders the words of a king that created everything ever created, because he, the mortal king, did not see the importance in it. IT IS THE WORD OF GOD YAHWEY and NO MAN has the right to say what is or what is not HOLY!!

The above is my responce of the REMOVAL of anything from HOLY SCRIPTURES by king James, who gave hime the right to do that? NO ONE!!
  • I think the whole of 1 Cor 14 is telling us to desire the Gift of prophesy.
Lately I have been thinking about the implications of the Holy Spirit giving you this gift. I believe it means the words in your mouth will be given by the same Holy Spirit. Proof of this is the word of Ezek 3: 26-27.
The gift of prophesy demands utter surrender to God, which makes it a very hard gift to receive.
But Jesus did this - so why not us?

  • Carol Ragsdale on Psalms 1:5
What is the word for judgement in Greek?
  • Truth of GRACE on 1 John 3:4
Jesus did it all folks. TRUST our LORD, not yourselves. Only one way to be righteous.Go to JESUS CHRIST and be saved. He did what we could not.>>> Here we see 1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. >>>Ready for some Peace? This verse above says if you are sinning you are STILL under LAW.(easy math) If you can commit one at all it's only because you've transgressed the law. And that's due to the laws defining the sin committed told you it was one.(Romans 3:20) Which ALSO means you have not gotten saved YET ( or even tried to be!). The "Good" news for the saved? READ IT.>>>Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are NOT under the law, but under GRACE.>>>Romans 3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets>>>>Romans 6:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness>>>Romans10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. I HIGHLY suggest you read this, those attempting to be righteous without being saved, for you cannot do so: Galatians 2:16 and Galatians 3 (whole chapter). DO not be a foolish Galatian either and act like Gods gift was not enough. It was everything, for ALL fell short. Go Praise the LORD and rejoice! You are safe with Jesus!
  • Rob cottrell on Ephesians 1:9
How wonderful is this MYSTERY revealed to us through our dear brother Paul. Christ in you the hope of glory. How blessed we are!
Regarding 'adoption. are we not BORN of God? do we not have God's life and nature as shown elsewhere?
  • Marina on Leviticus 18:22

You don't have to understand, why your brother is gay, beleive me, it is not a choice. Most people would not intentionally chose a path that makes their lives harder or hurt his/her family (when they are close like you mentioned). I do beleive the bible says God is supposed to do the judging, not us. My son came out when he was 15, I knew he was as young as 8 yrs old and I told his Dad to prepare himself for the day he came to us about it. He is not trying to hurt you or your family, he probably feels terrible because he feels like he has let you all down somehow. Being gay doesn't make him any less of a person, he needs to know that no matter what, you love and care for him. You don't have to like that he is gay but make sure he knows you still love him especially if he is young he may be very vulnerable and feel very alone. He revealed thEis to you all in hopes you would not reject him. Remember if God brings you to it he will bring you through it, ever think this is a test for you and your parents to see if you follow the golden rule?
  • Lameck Simuyemba on John 8
Any one who believes upon the Father follows Jesus' teaching & Jesus is not divided in His teaching/ doctrine & yet there're many doctrines within Christendom all claiming to be following Jesus. Isn't this a disparity? Pray for the Father to show you the truth because the Father seeketh only those who worship Him in truth & in Spirit John 4.
NB. 'Father' was omitted in the 1st comment.
