Amen. How hard is it to understand? There are no races. God has only created one race. The human race. I say this with no apology, if you believe that you are a different race than your neighbor just because you have less or more melanin in your skin than your neighbor, then you are a fool.

    Greetings, I have a question.

How did you come to the truth that the KJV is the only true and correct translation which has been preserved for us in english? What is your testimony?

    Thanks.

In lamentations chapter 5 questions was asked like 1. how can we look at troubling times through the lens of god's word and realize what went wrong? 2. how can we accept responsibility before god and others for our sins and turn around to do what please him? 3.in what ways has god made his love and mercy know to us?

How do I know if God wants me to do something or the devil is trying to decieve me. I being told by what I think is my own thoughts that I have to read a book in the bible so that God will want to hear what I ask in prayer and forgive me of my sins. I think that might go against Ephesians 2:8-9 but I'm not really sure.

  • Final Jacob and Esau Comment on Romans 13 - 2 years ago
One last comment on Jacob and Esau:

The bloodline of Jesus, came to Bethlehem through Jacob. Not Esau.

Do you know that God is there when we were in the womb? I believe that Isaiah and Ezekiel were called to be prophets, in their mothers wombs.

Genesis 1:1 shows that God is not constrained by the Creation of Time (in beginning...)

He is the Alpha and the Omega: the beginning of time and, the End of Time.

He's God. He sees everything. He does not violate our free will to choose what we do.

  • S Spencer on Hebrews Ch 6 on Matthew 20 - 2 years ago
    PG 2.

Lets revisit the text starting from-

Hebrews 5:11-14. Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.

For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Paul is urging them towards maturity.

Now lets take up Hebrews 6:7-9.

For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God:

Verse 8: But that which ""beareth thorns and briers"" is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.

THE KEY IS IN VERSE 9.

Verse 9 But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and ( things that accompany salvation,) though we thus speak. WHAT ACCOMPANIES SALVATION? FRUIT AND REWARDS.

    Verse 8 parallels with

Isaiah 5:6-7. And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.

For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.

    Also. Link

You see the whole concept here. Link

You see these verses can not be about salvation, if so we're all in trouble.

    Its about what accompany salvation.

    I hope that helps.
  • S Spencer on Hebrews Ch 6 on Jeremiah 11:3 - 2 years ago
    PG 1.

Lets start with Hebrews 6:4-6 with the view you can loose your salvation.

4: For it is ""impossible"" for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

5: And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

6: If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

That sounds like they're saved right? Right.

So if you read that verse carefully with the mind you can loose your salvation "you got one shot at it!!" ( For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened....) ( If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance;...)

You can take this passage and say if you were saved and some how stumbled "a small lie, got angry, ect.." it is impossible to renew you to repentance!! your forever Lost!! Read it again with the view you can loose your salvation.

That does not sound right so now take the passage with the view you cant loose your salvation and say these people was not really saved, "The Calvinist view"

It seems they suffer the same fate! Whether professors or not 'they were once enlightened'.

It is "Impossible" ( for those who were once ""enlightened,"" and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance;...)

The unsaved premise seems to also fails. they also got one shot!

I believe the writer is writing to believers, he addresses them that way in Ch 3:1. "Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling",

I don't think this is talking about salvation at all, it don't say renew them again to salvation, it say repentance. The writer is writing to the Hebrews and urging them to maturity, the burden of the writer is not to return to Judaism. Legalism, them becoming fruitless.

How do we know once we are saved that we are forever saved? I ask this because, if in our past after receiving salvation we were a good Christian for a while, yet this changed to a sinful nature. Then finally after several years, it is changed back into doing Gods will, and choosing to live for Him completely because, we realized our mistakes. What if during those years when we were not living for Jesus we were to have died. Would we still have gone to Heaven? Where does the Bible say once saved always saved? Is it only in John 3:16? I was reading where a man got on a bad road after being saved he got into drugs, immoral acts, and such. He died and saw he was in hell. He cried out to Jesus and was brought back to life. He then turned his life into a life of ministry. So, my question is this! Was this something perhaps God did to wake this saved man up, and place him back into His will by letting him get a glimpse of hell? I am now unsure since I use to do bad things after I was saved, and almost died in a coma would I have gone to hell if I had not lived? I simply want to know how we know for certainty we definitely are saved. Thank you, and God Bless!

  • S Spencer on Luke 1210 on Psalms 100 - 2 years ago
In regards to Luke 12:10. Everything we do we do by the Spirit, no man that has the spirit of God will blasphem the Holyspirit.

God's kingdom will not if the Holyspirit blasphem itself!

You see the notion here in Luke 11:17-18. But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them,

( Every kingdom ) divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth.

If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.

What is the works and purpose of the Holyspirit?

    Here's a few:

    :He seals us.

Ephesians 4:30. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

If God seals us can we unsealed ourselves? If so what does a seal mean?

    He teaches us:

1 Corinthians 2:13. WHICH THINGS ALSO WE SPEAK, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

Would the Holyspirit teach man to blasphem the Holyspirit?

1 John 2:27. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Anyone who thinks a Christian can blasphem the Holyspirit may not understand what blasphem the Holyspirit means.

Now lets revisit Luke 12:10 and see who Jesus is talking to and who the warning goes out to.

Luke 12:1 (KJV) In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the PHARISEES, which is hypocrisy.

Chapter 11 the Lord is giving the woes to the Pharisees.

Chapter 12 he's taking to the disciples about the leaven of the Pharisees.

He's not warning the disciples of blasphemy of the Holyspirit. HE CHOSE THEM AND HE CAN KEEP THEM.

In Ps.100 v 3 we see LORD and God. LORD is in capital letters while God is written with a capital g only. Why?

Can I infer from Ps.100 v 3 that the word LORD has 'greater' meaning than the word God?

    Thanks.
