Did you know the bible did not say you should baptize in the name of the father son and the holy ghost It said it said baptize them In the name of the father, and of the son and of the holy ghost --- and what Is the name of the father, son and holy ghost ? Jesus so the right way to baptize is in the name of Jesus Christ .
It appears to me that there were two creation scenarios: In Chapter 1 and Chapter 2. Could this explain that Cain took a wife from the first creation in Chapter 1 in the land of Nod?
Is there any area of your life that is out of control?
A lack of self- control in any part of our lives does not fit who we are in Christ. His desire is that we live in full surrender to Him so that His Spirit can produce in us the fruit of self-control.
The flesh versus the Spirit.
Self-control requires that we think before we act.
We must have a strong desire to obey God.
We must believe in our hearts that the Holy Spirit who lives within us will enable us.
When we are tempted to yield to sin, we should ask ourselves these questions-
I just thought I would state this detail of a verse that came to light.
In Colossians 1:19. For it pleased the Father that in Him should all fulness dwell;
As this is after speaking of Jesus Christ being the image of the invisible God and by Him and for Him were all things created. You may note that "the Father" is in italics in verse 19. Because in the Textus Receptus it is not there. It would actually read something like "for in Him it was pleasing that all the fullness dwelt".
Jesus Christ is more than a man and He existed before He was born. He was in on Creation. I can't understand how some would state that all the Words in His mouth were of His Father. Of coarse I understand the Father is in Him and giving Him all His Words to speak. Though you can easily see Jesus Christ is His own person with His own soul. Speaking to and of the Father constantly. Jesus Christ is most definitely ONE with the Father and just as much God though the Son. He is at the right Hand of God. A couple more verses stating He existed before He was born: John 3:12-13, John 6:38, John 5:45-47, John 6:62, John 8:58.
Maybe just to bring up the Angel of the LORD in the OT. Just one instance is Exodus 23:21. Not just a regular angel or even an archangel. How in Joshua 5:13-15. Where a Host of YHWH tells Joshua to take his shoes off for he is on Holy ground. As in Exodus 3:1-6. Again said to be an Angel of the LORD which is then stated as YHWH. God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Where Moses is told to take His shoes off. I would think because where YHWH is, is Holy ground.
I believe the Angel of the Lord in the OT is the pre incarnate Jesus Christ. Could I be wrong? Yes. As I have many other things to prove YHWH is not just one as normal people may perceive. Almighty God is ONE period.
I really don't know why people are trying to attack the deity of Christ. One day we will all have to stand before Him.
Unknown tongues vs Prophesy: which one is preferred?
Those who receive the Holy Ghost do not normally speak in an unknown tongue, a tongue that only God understands. Unknown tongues yield little value on the spiritual spectrum. It's good between that person and God, but does nothing to enlighten others.
( 1 Corinthians 14:2-5;27,28)
2 For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
3 But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort.
4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church.
5 I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying.
Unknown tongue restrictions:
27 If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret.
28 But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.
vs 5: I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied...
According to Isaiah 9:6, 12:2, 25:9, 43:11, 45:21-22, 54:5, Luke 1:68, John 8:24-27, 8:58, 10:28-30, 12:45, 14:6-9, 20:28, Acts 20:28, 2nd Corinthians 5:19, Ephesians 4:4-5, Colossians 2:9, 1st Timothy 3:16, John 3:5, Matthew 28:18-19, Luke 24:47-49, and Acts 2:37, Acts 2:38 is the true Biblical plan of salvation. Further backed up by Acts 4:12, 8:12, 8:16, 10:47-48, 19:2-6, and 22:16.
I know Christians need unity, but why did the KJV compare this with the ointment on Aaron's head that ran down to his garments? I know I'm thinking like a woman, but it has always bothered me that beautiful garments were made for Aaron to wear as Priest, but letting the oil drip on them seemed to be ruining the garments and making for a big washing job required for those garments. Does anyone have any spiritual insight into this verse in Psalm 133:2?
He had been granted all authority on earth, AS THE SON..
BUT JESUS, IESOUS CHRIST is NOT THE FATHER!
Scripture and IESOUS 's own words support this!!
..
John 14:28
"Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I." King James Version (KJV)
..
John 14:28
"Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I." King James Version (KJV)
..
John 14:20
"At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you." King James Version (KJV)
..
As you can plainly see ..IESOUS is saying that we are in Him and He in us.. DOES THAT MEAN WE "ARE" JESUS?
No man hath seen God at any time ; the only begotten Son , which is in the bosom of the father , he hath declared him .
This verse explains why Jesus knows God so well , like no other man . Jesus begotten of God , And a relationship so close and dear to God . Jesus came from God and maintained a relationship in the bosom of God. Now that is about as close as you get in a relationship. A father and Son relationship. And a relationship with God all the more remarkable and unique. Obviously Jesus had to be of the same spirit as God or this would be impossible.
Could someone please offer some suggestions for readings that I could use for residents in the end of life stage, please? I work night shift in an aged care facility and I would love to do some readings for those who are soon to go to God.... I was in an induced coma for 16 days in 2014, so I know first hand that your hearing is the last sense to go....and I know that it would be appreciated for those who have had a lifetime of faith
You who have observed, and are waiting in these days, until an end shall be made of those who do evil, and an end shall be made of the power of the wrongdoers.
Do indeed wait until sin shall pass away, for their names shall be erased from the Books of the Holy Ones, and their offspring will be destroyed forever. And their spirits will be killed, and they will cry out and moan in a chaotic desert place, and will burn in fire, for there is no Earth there.
And there I saw something like a cloud, which could not be discerned, for because of its depth I was not able to look into it. And the flames of a fire I saw, burning brightly, and things like bright mountains revolved and shook from side to side.
And I asked one of the Holy Angels, who were with me, and I said to him: "What is this bright place? For there is no sky, but only the flames of a burning fire, and the sounds of crying, and weeping, and moaning, and severe pain."
And he said to me: "This place which you see; here will be thrown the spirits of the sinners, and of the blasphemers, and of those who do evil.

Never be deceived by the evilness of this world.

Some good for thought ?
Any one doubt that ?
Jesus being born of God ( as well as a women ) anyone doubt that ?
Jesus being of God ( the son of God ) automatically makes him before the world existed because God is .
It's a no brainer unless you think Jesus is just a man like a prophet .
Peter said Jesus was the son of the living God and the Christ for told in scriptures.
All this trinity doctrine is just mans attempt to explain God .
And it's still just mans doctrine not found in the Bible but formed hundreds of years later .
Thank you in advance for your time and patience
So may I ask who is your 1 God . Thanks for your honest answer , no multiples please .
