  • Joshua on Proverbs 6
its funny how it says here in Proverbs 6:16-17 "These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:

17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and HANDS that SHED INNOCENT BLOOD" because most people that own slaughterhouses and people that support them claim to be followers of LORD CHRIST the most compassionate and merciful! When he himself says to love thy neighbor! Even thy enemy! Is it so hard to refrain from killing these innocent animals and shedding INNOCENT BLOOD when our LORD and SAVIOR says to love thy neighbor? Why dont we consider trees our neighbors? Or Cows? or ants? or anything that lives around us in this UNI-verse? please tell me? because King Solomon who is one of Jesus Christ's relatives says that GOD hates hands (not claws) that SHED INNOCENT BLOOD. Please share the wonderful news for peace on Earth. LOrd Jesus says "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in EArth." Their is no killing in the kingdom of Heaven, so please don't eat any more meat or support any innocent animal killing industries.
  • Pauline on Acts 13
Verse 51 reminds me of Christ's instructions in Matthew 10:12-15:
    12
And when ye come into an house, salute it.

13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.

14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

How do we receive the word of God? Do we select what we want to hear or receive it with gladness?
  • Timothy osterlund on 1 Timothy 5:23
God, thru His writers, heavily criticizes drunkeness, debauchery and carousing. It is written, "Be not drunk with wine, but be filled with the Holy Spirit." So be careful of what you bring in to your life. Can a man take fire into his bosom and his clothes not be burned?
  • Felister on Isaiah 62

  • Richard on Proverbs 31

  • Joseph Gakura on Philippians 1:6
Paul says , *preach the gospel without fearing.* Elohim is the boss in Jesus' work, as his followers we ought to follow his steps in anyways, and I like that.

    Can God? God can.
  • Josep gakura vs 1 on Psalms 23
i like understanding of my self,my Elohim is enough.

    Can God? God can.
  • Mike C Opara on 2 Corinthians 5:15
Since Christ loves us to the extent of dying for our sins, we who have been saved and redeemed back to God as a result of Christ's vicarious death are to recicrocate His love. We are expected from the point of knowing the Lord to live a concecrated life, a life totally dedicated to pleasing Him. It is said that one good turn deserves another. The only proof of our salvation and acceptance of Christ is our day to day right living, watchfulness, evangelistic zeal and a life of prayer. In summary, a true christian must live a life of obedience and service to the One he/she claims to believe in and love. "If you love me, keep my commandments"(John 15:14)."But why do you call me 'Lord, Lord' and not do the things which I say?"(Luke 6:46). Chrit will soon come to take those who are trully His and who are waiting for Him.(2nd Timothy 2:19). May the Lord help us to repent of all sins, accept Christ and receive the grace to please Him in all things in Jesus' name,Amen.
  • Joseph gakura on Matthew 7:7
    what a good love?
    just do what He tells.

    Can God? God can.
  • Phillip Stephens on 1 Timothy 4
1Timothy 4 is about doctrines of devils. These doctrines consist of people teaching preachers shouldn't marry or follow the laws of God in Leviticus 11 & Deuteronomy 14 on our diet. I continue to see people saying 1Timothy 4:1-5 is saying our God is saying a preacher shouldn't marry and it's ok to eat things God call unclean and forbids. Would someone please show me where Yahweh says this? The people that assume this, are you saying Yahweh is a devil? 1Timothy 4:1-3 is very clear the doctrine of forbidding to marry and to obtain from foods God sets aside in His word are doctrines of devils. Is Yahweh a devil? Is His Holy Word a doctrine of devils?
  • Andrew on Jeremiah 1
    To Mosadoluwa.
Where did you find that Jeremiah was 6 years old?
  • Ruth on Isaiah 66:23
so that means that sabbath will be there in the new heavens and the new earth, which God will make....oo how i love to worship the lord and keep His sabbath holy. so i will do it in heaven too??
  • Prince Elliot Uamai on Joshua 8
Have you actually pondered on the reasons and the effect of the spear the Lord asked Joshua to stretched out towards Ai? To me, the spear jerked those soldiers in ambush into action and at the same time connotes total elimination of the heathen nation, Ai. Joshua never withdrew his hand until a land-slide victory was achieved. We need to fear this God. He is indeed a 'Man' of war.
  • Richard on Genesis 2
In Chapter 2 verse four-six Is a poss for the earthHowever ver 6 does clearly state that he made sure that he was still present there..Then God took dirt from the earth and made a man..Planning another Garden on Earth with him present in it with this man..Having things around him Trees Tree of Life and treat knowledge of good and evil From here his word in full Spreading on the earth in full And partying into for riverheads representing the four angels that will reap and so when Christ gets the word in revalations.. Having full testimony: and witnessed before God?.. The Lord commands the man not to touch the tree of knowledge of good and evil And give Adam a woman To make way for life threw christ..
  • Nel babaran on Acts 20:28
what about the George Lamsa translation regarding Acts 20:28? what is the point of other commentators?
  • Zachsmom on Deuteronomy 22:5
I think women should wear dresses/skirts all the time and and not even cut their hair to me it symbolizes feminimity. For example if you see a man and woman standing side by side both with pants and t-shirt on and both of their hair chopped off and they are standing with their backs facing you. How would you tell them apart? You wouldnt be able to and if he wanted the women to dress and look like men, then why would he even create men and women. My opinion is mine just like everybody else has them and it might not mean much, but just sit and think about it. God bless.
  • Anonymous on Psalms 15:1
Who - Who shall so dwell in thy church here, as to dwell with thee for ever in heaven?
is more appropriate for the PSALMS-15:1.
  • Matthew 7:22-23 says:Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
    23. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

People do you see just how important it is to choose to Love rather than to hate; Forgive rather than to hold a grudge; You can see from Matthew 7:22-23 that even the church, who actually have the power & gifts of God will be cast into Hell, and this chapter shows why. So we see that you can be anointed and still be in danger off hell fire, or rather still not have a relationship with God because your heart never learned how to truly Love. So I say to everyone; match this chapter up to you. Your salvation depends on it. For the Saints: this chapter shows us that we only have part of God, and Matthew 7:22-23 shows us that part of God is not good enough.

  • Soram on Daniel 7:7
Why it is terrible animal and what is the meaning of 10 horn ?
  • Question: Why would the Holy Spirit withhold the "Wicked" one from being revealed? This conclusion is illogical and does not hold up to scripture.
The Wicked One wants to remain a mystery until the last possible moment. To say that the Holy Spirit is restraining or withholding the revelation of the Wicked One is nothing less than blasphemy, yet, this doctrine is widely taught in the churches.
  • Ken on Mark 9
People who condemn (some with vehement, insulting acronyms and derogatory comments) all Biblical translations except the King James Version (KJV) should reconsider many of the sayings of Jesus and the apostles in the New Testament. Here are merely two examples from Jesus:

This is really sad. What does it say to the unbeliever about Christian love and unity? We are supposed to be the Salt of the earth.

What about what Jesus said? "Salt is good: but if the salt haue lost his saltnesse, wherewith will you season it? Haue salt in your selues, and haue peace one with another." (Mk 9:50, ORIGINAL 1611 KJV) or, for those who believe the "authorized version"- and revised - KJV of 1611/12 is the only truly inspired translation, just replace the "u"s with a "v": "Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltnesse, wherewith will you season it? Have salt in your selves, and have peace one with another."

What happened to the "...have peace with one another?" This is an excellent example of what unbelievers use to rationalize their rejection of Jesus Christ as the One, True God.

Also, it is a prime example of what Jesus said to the religious authorities, “Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.” (Matthew 23:24, KJV, authorized version).
  • Joe on John 16
@Sygmund - Please tell me where in the KJV bible do I find that Elijah is the name of the comforter?
  • Andrew on Isaiah 54:16
The "smith" is the one that wants to use weapons of destruction to burn, and out of him, shall come forth such a weapon(instrument)to accomplish his end, and the LORD is He that allowed this. Is this correct?
  • Andrew on Isaiah 53:12
I still cannot understand "great". Who are the other greats that share Christ's reward?
  • Brenda on Acts 15
The Book of Acts is an eye-opening book , when we truly read what we are reading, asking the Lord for understanding, much is revealed, and much is learned. Praise God for his GRACE! For if it wasn't for Jesus dying for us, how in the world would we ever make it?!!
  • Christo on Matthew 25:41
In Matthew 25 verse 41 who was the devils angels that was spoken about?
  • FRANK.A. ISIEKWENE on Colossians 2
    Colossians 2 vs 6
Since we have received christ as the Lord and our personal saviour, the next thing we need to do is to work in him. And how do we work in him? by obeying his word, doing his will, being commiiteed to the works of the ministry, preaching the gospel and many more. so these are the ways we can work in him; not receiving him and then we folding our hands and relaxed.
  • Bright on Joel 3:6
What is/are the difference/s between 'the children of Judah and the children of Jerusalem'?
  • Mark on John 1
Would it be safe to say that Jesus did not exist at the time of creation? Would it be safe to say that it was God and his word that created the beginning?
