Does the clay tell the potter what to fashion?
  • Roy HANCOCK - 2 years ago
None of those scriptures U had posted here answers the question about people not being perfect. The Bible says, Be ye therefore perfect as Your father in heaven is perfect. Job was Perfect. Noah was perfect, Nathaniel had no guile in his life, Mary had to be Perfect to bare the Son of God. John and his mother Elizabeth was perfect because John was baptized of the the Holy Ghost in his mother's womb. Enoch was perfect because he walked & talked with God. Sought after God's own heart and God took him. The scripture, No not one is righteous is talking about a group there in that same chapter that was living an ungodly life. Doesn't pertain to Christians. All have sinned is a past tense statement meaning that we were all born in sin and did sin until we asked forgiveness and God cleansed us from ALL sin. Not to return to our vomit like a dog. John says that a man that sins is not of God. The prayer of a RIGHTEOUS MAN availeth much. The Bible talks about a man being righteous all thru the new testament. Without being righteous, no man shall enter into heaven. No sinner shall enherit the kingdom of Heaven. The Bible says ALL things are possible with us because ALL things are possible with Him meaning that we can live above sin thru Christ Jesus. Don't try to make God a weak God by saying that He can't keep us from sinning if we turn our lives over to Him. He is not weak and we are not weak if we serve Him. ALL things are possible thru Jesus who strengthens us....ALL has no exceptions in those lines. Where is faith if You believe that U are going to fail. Without faith U cannot please God.. we are as our faith is.....

    Mishael,

What elite group of people is John talking about being resurrected, standing about the throne, and reigning with Christ a thousand years?

    Revelation 20:4-5

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Who is the rest of the dead?

The blessings and curses mentioned in Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28, are not just for Jewish people or Israelis.

They apply to all Gentile nations as well. We don't get a free pass. We are either grafted into the One True Vine (JESUS), or we are a lot of wild grapes; good for nothing.

There are 5 Cycles of Curses on those who refuse to acknowledge a Holy God who wrote them down for us. Get out of Genesis and arguing Sabbath days, long enough to warn people of what is happening TO the world as a whole. We're at the End of Days folks.

God is not creating THE CHAOS we are living through. We did it. We aren't obeying the written down, known Will of God: live clean and accept the work of His only begotten son, Jesus Christ, be born again ( John 3), get other people on board (witness to the unsaved)...

Examine your lives, please?! Is personal wealth, comfort, worldly music and entertainment a daily staple? Is your heart saying: let the preachers deal with it? Did you teach the Bible to your kids, or are they following the gospel of CHAOS?

    Satans name is, Chaos.

God has been trying to get our attention for A LONG TIME. He must honor His Word, and release the 5th Cycle of Discipline. Now perhaps you'll open your Bible and read it? It will explain what is happening in our Country, our Society.

For starters: Leviticus 26, and Deuteronomy 28.

I suggest reading all of both books. You shall be enlightened. God says for us to CHOOSE life.

Let us now bend a knee to apologize to God.

    Turn back to Him.

Do the things that He told us to do.

This is Gods Last Call going out now. Ask him to open your eyes and your ears.

  • LITTLE FOXES in Song Of Solomon Two Fifteen - 2 years ago
This verse is very important to our future when we review its symbolic meaning. To most, a fox is a very attractive, cute little animal that some wish they could have. In reality, the fox is a very sly, sneaky, destructive animal that sneak into vineyards, eating the grades, chewing the bark, and digging up the roots.

The vineyard symbolizes our mind and the little red fox symbolizes destructive thoughts that come into our mind. Thoughts when permitted to grow can result in damaging or destroying our life and our walk with the Lord.

If we permit Satan's thoughts to remain, they can build to the point where we believe and follow them into situations that can destroy us. Or we can choose to catch and eliminate them from our mind. This verse is given as a warning to be on guard while our mind is tender in blossom, about to grow into good fruit, to review our thoughts before bad thoughts can grow and destroy.

2 Corinthians 10:5 warns us to Cast down imaginations, and every high thing that raises up against the knowledge of God. We need to examine our thoughts and cast them down if they are of Satan.

An update to Solomon' verse would be Permitting only a little sinful thought to remain can ruin the fruitfulness of your Christian life.

Existing sin, be it what we may consider to be small or big is the same to God, a sin, and it is sin that separates us from God. And what is Satan' objective, to separate us from God and God' blessings. To destroy us in HELL.

Every sin starts with a THOUGHT. It may take years for a thought to grow into a sin or it may only take a few seconds. If we flirt with a thought, like physical beauty, it can grow and lead to another thought. We need to nip a wrong thought in the bud and cast it out of our mind before it grows and takes over.

Apostle Paul asked, You were running a good race. Who cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth? That kind of persuasion does not come from the one who calls you ( Galatians 5:7-8)

The more I see in the news and world the more I'm convinced that the democrats are the party of evil and the antiChrist leader will come from this group.

Since they were pro-slavery, pro-KKK, pro-criminals, anti-Christian, pro-gay and pro-sodomy, and most of all, they support mass murder of innocent babies. I think more than 10 million babies have been murdered in the last decade which is more than Hitler killed. They applaud about all the innocent babies who were slaughtered in blood, as their souls cry out to God. I just see no way that is pro-Christianity. Despite the rampant evil and insults to Jesus, do you think any of them can still be saved and can have hope of going to heaven?

How can the Lord Jesus at the end of times judge billions of people to see where they will go? When I ask these questions I am not doubting it at all I just wonder about it? Thanks for your answers to my questions and I do not use my email any longer, thanks!
  • Theo - 2 years ago
Spencer S, I think Norman just wanted to know about the lesser known, down voted books of the Bible. These are not forbidden books vying to be part of the 66, nor are they an insult to God. From a literature standpoint, it is gold to find preserved works of antiquity, canonized or not. It is the Catholic Bible that has added books. Are the works of Josephus, cataloging Jesus and the 1st century church, any less palatable?

Why at times did God want Israel to have lots of gold lots of silver, & lots of jewelry and wear it if they should choose to ? and other times he didn't want them to have any gold, silver, or any Jewelry. ( clues ) Answers are found in Ezekiel chapter 16. Also Isaiah chapter 61: 10 read before and after. It was a way of life in Israel . Then Exodus chapter 28 : Concerning the minister or High priest by God's command had to wear in worship . All the colours And gold and twelve stones embedded into the ephod each one with the names of the twelve tribes etched in them. The dress affair is a interesting study. But it was commanded by God .Also take a look at Rebecca in genesis. When you get your answer, you will also understand the story Jesus told about the prodigal son And why his father treated him like he did when the boy returned. God bless you all. Thank for this opportunity.

A moment of Biblical "jocularity" if you will forgive me; The shortest person in the bible ?; Zacchaeus ? Peter ? Bildad ?

    -

Zaccheaus was short, & he had to climb a tree to see Christ

Peter outright said "silver & gold have I none", thats pretty "short"

Bildad the Shuhite was only a few inches. (tall) The shortest...

    Proverbs 16:3

My thought life, and as I assume from conversations are as most others, is the greatest battleground for Christians.

The mind is the point where the spirit, soul and flesh come together. This is the place where war erupts as these three entities struggle with each other for their own purpose.

The spirit is what makes us who we are, the unique characteristics of being an individual unlike any other. The spirit houses our likes, dis-likes, talents, stamina and abilities.

The soul is the eternal center of the individual. The soul is what brought us into existence. The soul understands and longs for the true moral center of righteousness. I believe deep within each of our souls lies the understanding we were created for a higher purpose than to merely exist for a season in the flesh. The idea of connection to something greater.

The flesh is of this world as it was created from this world and became sinful through our acceptance to commit sins. It seeks immediate gratification and is self-indulgent wanting to be first and foremost in our environment. It seeks to please others so as to be accepted by those around us thereby not leaving our flesh to be at enmity with the world in which we live, so as not to be apart and alone.

In this struggle our mind weighs each of the thousands of decisions we make every day. Each entity within us strives to have its desire implemented. I have heard it said "it is not the big decisions which shape our lives but the smallest decisions which direct our actions and guide us". These small decisions are what leads us to; a fulfilled life, a mediocre life, or a tragic life with these last two ending with the loss of our soul to what the soul desires, communion with that which gave us eternal life.

By committing all our works (decisions) unto God will bring peace to the struggle in our mind. Incorporating God into every decision ends the double-mindedness?

The last paragraph that the individual wrote does not refute the spiritual content of The Most High testament about his people.Tell the public when the jew-ish people were enslaved and bloodline tainted by other nations? They read from the Babylonian Talmud and yet they overcome their exile. They are lenders not borrowers...and they turned white....! According to the Biblical narrative, they are not supposed to be in Ysrael until Christ return to put them there...and not to mention they don't believe in him.

Mrs joanne peters, upon receiving the Holy Ghost, some speak in tongues of gibberish that only God hears. Others receive the Holy Ghost and do the Lord's work, preaching and healing. Of the two, works is the greater gift.

    1 Corinthians 14

How would a deaf mute speak in tongues?

This is 2 end the discussion on Jeremiah chapter 17 verse 9, even though the Bible speaks of man heart being evil there are some solution ?, one is found in proverbs 3: five - seven; Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not on unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. There are more compelling scriptures and testimonies about how 2 overcome the evil that the bible speaks in a man's heart with the teachings of Jesus and God's guidance, love, Mercy, and patient will get us through to the end, it's all in his holy word.

What makes you think antichrist has 3.5 years of peace prior to his time, of which he only has 42 months power? That is the time frame of his reign, 42 months to fulfill prophesy. Antichrist is completely unknown until he makes himself known at the day of the Lord. Everything I say is verifiable. Your account is loose, and not scripturally accurate, handed down folklore.
