The Lord can and will use anything for His glory and praise even Christmas and Halloween. During the Christmas season, even the unsaved and others who normally not listen or heed the name of Christ do so. From mid November thur the end of Christmas, Songs of Jesus' birth and the coming King are heard almost everywhere. And how many of us leave our Christmas decorations up - way pass December 25!

Halloween lets the people of God use innovating ways to reach the unchurched. Tracts and candies given to children as they come to the doors. In contrast, the decorations for halloween are down quickly by the next day.

We cannot let the world dictate to us how to fight in God's name, however we must remain faithful and call on Jesus and His word to guide our battle plans on a daily basis.

I've never had anyone turn down a Bible tract with money in it. Let's not haggle over what God likes, loves, or wants. Let's go forward and testify in His name. 2 Timothy 4:2

"Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine."

    Philippians 1: 15 - 18

15 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:

16 The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:

17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.

18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.

God bless everyone. Have a happy summer! 2021

    Matthew Chapter 25

31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Herein there is no where the churches of our time have erred more greatly and especially in these United States. So far from condescending to men of low estate the desire of most gravitates toward those who are prestigious, and socially prominent. Thus for the most part only the well to do are found in the prominent places of our churches. This is in total contradiction of how it ought to be according to St. Paul as it is the POOR who are richest in faith, while the wealthy of this world, those most often given to greed and oppression should be those we trust the lest! It would be wise therefore we heed Paul's admonition and CONDESCEND to men of low estate, and let us thus prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God herein by putting some of our very poorest on our pulpit committees, and our Church boards to help direct things, rather then to only catering to our rich young rulers. Those poor among us in this worlds goods are not nearly as dumb as we seem to think. And if putting such like in these slots gives offence then so be it. We ought to just do it anyway. After all, who are we out to please? God or Man?!

Thus for the most part only the well to do are in found the prominent places of leadership in our churches here. this is in total contradiction of how it ought to be which is made so clear by St. Paul that it is the POOR, who are richest in faith, while the wealthy of this world being naturally greedy are most often oppressors! Therefore it is wise to CONDESCEND to men of low estate. Make sure poor folk are on our pulpit committees, our Church boards, and our board of directors, rather then to only be catering to the rich herein. The poor are not nearly as dumb as we seem to think, and if that means we must downsize than that is exactly what needs to be done. Who are we out to please? God or Man?!
  • Tony on Genesis 32:30 - 2 years ago
Gen 32:30, please elaborate the best possible meaning. Face to face could be another word for meeting, not a literal meaning that Jacob actually saw God's face. Right? If he saw God's face then it contradicts other scriptures that says no man sees God otherwise will surely die.

John 6;12 The question becomes me. Their are only so many fragments left to eat. I don't know how many their are yet left to eat who sit behind me? How much should I take? Do not worry my friend, You see it does not matter. Fore this bread will multiply from the time u eat , until the time u give it away! There will be plenty. The question is, will you take enough.

  • Tonya Rios on John 8:58 - 2 years ago
I really hope you people who openly write your opinions STOP!! Because yes in fact JESUS is saying before Abraham I AM , the same I AM that told Moses in the Old Testament. Isaiah 9:6 says it best who JESUS is and if you need New Testament to back up who HE is 1st Timothy 3:16 but this one clearly nails it John 1:10,11 He was in the world and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. He came unto His own and his own received Him not.)HALLELUJAH GLORY BE TO GOD, JESUS is GOD Manifested in the flesh as 1st Timothy 3:16 and ISAIAH 9:6 so clearly and plainly put it!! Why do you think we are to be baptized in His Name ? ACTS 2:38 , because JESUS himself was Water baptized as an example to us as to what HE expects EVERYONE who WANTS SALVATION to do as HE Stated to Nicodemus in JOHN3:5 Verily, verily, I say unto thee .Except a man be born of the Water and of the Spirit , he cannot enter the kingdom of God. ( Peter Preached on the day of Pentecost in the book of ACTS 2:38 to Repent and be baptized in Jesus Name filled with the Holy Ghost. EPHESIANS 4:5 says One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism . ( John 1:1 through 5) in the beginning was the Word , and the Word was with God , and the Word was God . The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made.In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. ( Same as some people today ) In Jesus Name I Bid you Peace

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let US (plural) make man in OUR (not my) image, after OUR likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

John 17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in US: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. (22) And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as WE are one:

Matthew 27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

Luke 1:30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.

    (31) And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a SON, and shalt call his name JESUS.

    (32) He shall be great, and shall be called the SON of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:

John 12:26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father (not Joseph) honour. (27) Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.

Mark 10:40 But to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is NOT MINE to give; but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared.

    Today's Headlines Read:

"US-Russia relations are so poor that only a summit can sort them out, Putin's spokesman says" & "Vladimir Putin Calls Accusations of Ordering Assassinations 'Verbal Indigestion"

The US behaves painfully arrogant towards their contemporaries, continually pointing the finger, itching for conflict. Who won't America invade? Who's government will the US threaten to topple next? Word for word they remind me of that city in Revelation 17 that suddenly gets attacked, and gives up the ghost. It is increasingly apparent that the US behaves more and more like this Babylon with each passing day. Who else is there besides America?

Next week, US President Biden's high stakes meeting with Russian President Putin carries all the hallmarks of Daniel 11:27. We see that one of these kings paths is clearly marked by cataclysmic destruction.

27 And both these kings' hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.

If we are in fact living in "the end-days", then the people of America should prepare themselves for the flame. 539 BC is coming, and won't be put off.

What's the difference between the Bible and Koran? I have read both the Bible and Koran, and each are equally enlightening.

-The Bible says that Jesus really was the son of God, and if you don't believe that, you will spend an eternity in hell.

-The Koran says twice that Jesus was not the son of God, and anyone who believes that Jesus was the son of God will spend an eternity in hell.

This is the absurd dichotomy of faith, offering as much room for compromise as a coin toss. People choose between the two religions by accidents of birth; if you are born in Afghanistan, you will be a Muslim, and so forth. It is an odd sort of God who created these circumstances, pitting one religion against another. If one of you stood on your soapbox and claimed to be right, and everyone else is wrong, then that's self-evidently nonsense. For this reason alone, all religions should be questioned.

""Let not then your good be evil spoken of:" I thought this meant if you are a married man you shouldn't be seen in public with other women even if you say they are just friends."

What should I say to him? He gets angry if I tell him he is wrong.
  • How Can We Help Others Be Saved - 2 years ago
The first consideration is the realization that one of God's greatest desires is the salvation of all mankind. God's desire is clearly stated.

The Great Commission in Matthew 28:19 says, Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.

This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth ( 1 Timothy 2:3-4).

It is God's desire that all should be saved. He loves you so much that He gave His one and only son as a ransom to pay for our sins.

    Why pray

We should, we must, pray for the Salvation of others. What we are doing is asking God to move in their lives. Jesus said that He came to "seek and to save the lost" ( Luke 19:10). Jesus does the seeking and the Holy Spirit opens their heart. If you want to see someone's heart healed and their eternal future secured, you must be praying. Pray helps open the door to Jesus. Jesus taught that we "ought always to pray and not lose heart" ( Luke 18:1).

Why are so many still unsaved

If it is God's desire that all should be saved, then why are so many people still unsaved? 2 Corinthians 4:4 tells us the god of this world [the devil] has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Do not give up praying for others. While God will not force a person to accept and love Him, He can and does work hard to bring them to Himself by giving the person ideas, thoughts, dreams, visions, laborers to talk with them, and designing circumstances in their life to bring them face to face with the love of God.

In prayer, keep breaking Satan's power in their life, binding Satan, and claiming their salvation. Continuous prayer is powerful and faith does not give up. 1 Corinthians 13

I will add to this tomorrow. Mishael
