Who or what does Melchizedek mean for us today? No father, no mother, no beginning or end of days. Not a human?

The Samaritan woman at the well was a gentile and yet was a child of jacob Israel
    John Chapter 4
10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?

12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well Jesus never corrected her and told her she was wrong. She was of Israel.

Ok, People thought that Jesus came only for the righteous and the pure but it not true. Why? because he came for the lost sheep of the house of Israel. He did not only come for the righteous(The Jews) but he equally came for the sinners( the gentiles, the tax collectors and the Pharisees)

Please be careful of the so called Hebrew roots / sacred name groups as they are judaizers who hate grace. Grace is not a license to sin, but laws do not save us. They want to cast doubt on the King James telling you Matthew was originally in Hebrew and mistranslated. It is all a lie of satan. They even deny the name of Jesus and argue continually over the spelling of yeshua / joshua / yahahasuah / ad nauseam...
Keep an eye on the Noahides also they want us to follow the 7 laws of Noah.
Where is this in the Bible? Nowhere is where.
The noahide laws exist only in the minds of Rabbis who deny Jesus as the Christ or Messiah.
Believing Jesus is God in the flesh is blasphemy to these rabbis
  • Evans on Genesis 7
Why do people not care about the things of God in this dispensation?
  • Shonda - in Reply on Deuteronomy 6
This was a great read. It reminds us to testify and tell of God's goodness to future generations. How will they know what God can do if we don't share the things that we've been through? When they hear our stories of the mighty power of God, it will come to mind when they are in trouble. We must teach them to call upon the Lord or else others will teach them to turn to things that make matters worse. We all go through hardship, but it's better to go through with God than without Him. I find hope in God. Although I don't see Him, I believe that He sees me and will carry me through anything that comes my way. Trust God.

Hello, it sounds like you're receiving carbon monoxide poisoning and need to leave immediately. Even being homeless on the street in fresh air would be better than you choosing to live in a place where you're poisoned and risk death. God already gave you the freewill to take care of yourself and to protect his holy temple (your body) by leaving, so what prevents you from honoring God and leaving immediately?
  • YoRick - in Reply on John 1
Suicide? There will always be a tomorrow. Your problems will belong to someone else when you are gone. If you stay, you will see a brighter day, maybe not tomorrow, maybe not next week, but eventually. God can and will keep you safe if you trust him. Please think of those you love and think of those that love you before doing such an act--there is no turning back from it.

I have an earned masters degree in the Bible. I assure you the gospel of Matthew was written in Greek, just like the rest of the books of the Bible. There are 5,000 partial manuscripts of the new testament in Greek and ZERO in Hebrew.
Face it is was the unbelieving Jews who killed Jesus in John 5:16 - And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day.
Q: Did Jesus take the Kingdom of God from the Jews?
A: Matthew 21:43 - Therefore say I (Jesus speaking to the Jews) unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. What nation? Greeks who gave us the new Testament
  • Tim Yahr on 2 Peter 3
What language was the Gospel of Matthew written in? If it wasn't Greek, did the KJV translators use that text or a Greek text to create their English Gospel of Matthew? Thank you.
  • Gusathdai - in Reply on Jeremiah 12
Absolutely God does know the heart this is why is wrote... Jeremiah 17:9 - The heart is deceitful above all things , and desperately wicked: who can know it? Also Proverbs 28:26 He that trusteth in his own heart is a FOOL: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.

  • Adam - in Reply on Romans 6
Hello, what is your take on blasphemy of the holy spirit? Luke 12:10, 1 John 3:6. Since Jesus warned his followers (Christians) to not blasphemy, and since Jesus said it's unforgivable, how do you reconcile this with the belief that a Christian can't lose salvation?
  • Seventh day is sabbath - in Reply on Galatians 4
Shelly-We are not all in the same place with our walk with God, those people who seem to be having an easy time of life may have already gone through some hard times and who knows what the future holds? If we are going through hard times, rejoice!! God is working in us to bring us to a better understanding of where He wants us to be.
    1 Peter 4:13-16
1 Peter 4:16-Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

What did Uzzah actually do and why did God strucked him to dead. King David refused to accept the act of the covenant because God strucked Uzzah to dead and later when David knew that God has blessed Ebedudumdedum, he decided to go and get the act of the covenant from Ebedudumdedum, what went wrong

  • Fred Scanlan on Romans 8
Have you ever been condemned? Can you imagine the helpless feeling, the shame, without forgiveness.the stain of sin. The relentless conscience of doubt of forgiveness? That there is no hope in life, that we are all condemned.Whats the first thing you face? FEAR! Are you afraid to walk in the light?are you afraid to confess your sins and ask Him to cover you with his shed blood!Afraid to receive His blessed forgiveness, cleansing you from all unrighteousness. When this happens you will witness the mystery of godliness. You will witness the glory that is in Him.Those who are well need not the healer only those who are sick. Call on Him, and see the truth for yourself.
