What is the function of angels and especially in Revelation?
  • The faithful saint - 2 years ago
Ever wonder why so many different "beliefs, religions, doctrines, ect."?, when we have only 1 Bible( the written word of God by Holy men of old as they were moved by the Holy Ghost) 2 Peter 1: 20-21( prophesies is another word for scripture ) for the christian believers? It's not what we have left "left in"the Bible or scriptures, it's what we have "taken out" and based our opinion, belief, doctrine, ect., we take the scripture out of its context, or we say:" the Old Test.is not for us today, some even say well that was for the early church ( the book of Acts), and yet go 1 book further or 2 and base our salvation on those scriptures. Folks if we are going to pick and choose what we want then the Cross is none effective, as a matter of fact none of it is effective. I apologize up front for using this analogy, but it like being prescribed an antibiotic and only taking 1 of the 30 pills in that prescription, any Doc. will tell you to follow through, don't stop at 1. My friends that is what our Great Physician told us through his example of the death on the cross, his burial in the grave and his resurrection out of that grave and ascention into heaven. For us to die out in repentance, be buried with him in baptism, and be filled with his Spirit from on high, and live an overcoming life. Don't just stop at 1. With much Love for His Word, and my Brethren and Sister's in Christ, God Bless.

"And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days."

What exactly does this mean? What is the daily sacrifice?

Are there Prophets in the New Testament Church? As I understand we no longer need them. As a born again Christian you should go out and tell others anyway.

    To Rosie on Proverbs 6:1

We should always consult God before making any decisions, and I have found that the questioning of our choice is 9 times out of 10, a clear indication that we did not follow The Holy Spirit. Our doubt never comes from God...In God we are BOLD....and know clearly that it is of GOD. God also tells us to put our faith in no man...Only in God...So when one pays for something/anything sight unseen...where are you putting your faith? In words? Man's Words? And again I want to point out....obviously you, yourself are questioning your decision? Correct? I say pay HARD!! And remember in WHOM we are to trust!

The enemy is not only against us, He is His own worse enemy!

His demise already determined, while we wait and ponder these things , we do not wish too know His end, for it will be headlong into hell for eternity! The darkness in his heart , is the same beam in His eye! He cannot remove it, even while he tries too succor us that wait on the Lord!

Oh dear soul, Fear not ! Your redemption draws nigh!

This one who comes, comes with fire in His eyes, Reaping even where He has not sown! Riding so valiantly, His name written forever! The redeemer!

    Where will you be?

Will you be at the door, waiting with your lantern full, ready to meet Him? Or , will you be asking for more from those who you thought were yours? These who you wished would help you, will be gone when you return!

For the doors shall be closed and they will be gone! Repent and be baptized, in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

Is babylon considered the united states? i have heard this and to me

it does seem like we are the babylon. i'm a catholic and we were never taught to actually read the bible.

i have many christian friends that feel we have been deceived and that the vaccines are the mark.... that the filth, ( pornography...child trafficking, the satanic rituals) and ungodly behaviour...(proven from eyewitnesses whistleblowers ) by our world leaders participating ( yes, in us, rome etc )

has been allowed by us... with no challenge... we have with our apathy and .. acquiesced, and as a result, have ignored these worldly evils, thus god and the angels are angry...our destiny will be god's rath...... our beautiful world has ... been dominated by the evil one...the devil.. i pray for the world

    are we the us babylon?

    thank you,

    val

Christ blood covers a multitude of sins: so why the thorn in the flesh, not considered covered as well; instead of holding any individual intresidant or accountable, until they meet face to face??? Where is the "Mercy Rule" to takeover; literally???
  • Frankzdrrik orijola - 2 years ago
Why there are people who refused to received the mark of the beast? It is because they just followed on what stated in revelation 18:4, thus; they were no longer involved or connected in any religious, political, and commercial organizations who imposes systems that manipulated and exploited humankind. Why they followed revelation 18:4? It is because almighty god shows mercy on them.( romans 9;15,16,18) and he wrotes to them his laws on their heart and mind ( hebrews 8:10,11) and he separated them from those who have mark of the beast ( romans 11:4).

Who can help me find a scripture? I am paraphrasing the event. There was a prophet or Levite that took up a sword to execute God's judgment. He neither recognized/distinguished his father, mother, sister or brother. Where is this passage found?

What is the most commonly held interpretation of Romans 11: 25-26?

    Thank you.
  • S Spencer - 2 years ago
    Hi Rick.

Division between non believers is expected, That's what truth does,

Matthew 10:34-37.Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

But amongst the Brothern you're bonded together by Love, It's the spirit that causes this, "By this WE KNOW that he's in us and we in him, When one hates the Brothern, then the spirit is not in him, and if you have not the Spirit of Christ then you are none of his. There are people that claims to be Christian that absolutely "HATES" people who don't hold there views.

And that's because they're void of the spirit that produces this precious fruit.

1 John 4:20-21. If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God ( LOVE HIS BROTHER ALSO.) "Do you notice it don't say "SHOULD" love his brother? No. It says Love his brother. this is equity! Not a command but a reaction CAUSED by the Spirit.

Perhaps by this "HATE" you can tell who's on the wrong side of the argument.

    God bless.

  • English sacha - 2 years ago
WHY DO YOU.......gamble . When I was a child my grandad used to bet on the horses . He only ever bet pennies , literally pennies . Which also meant that if he ever won he only ever won pennies ! I asked him about it and he said he only gambled to make the race a bit more exciting for himself . I understand that . So , if you are a Christian and you only gamble for a bit of excitement does that mean that when you win you give all your winnings to a charity ? I know a few Christians who gamble , it's not really any of my business so I keep quiet . However , I can't help wondering why ? Proverbs ch30 v7-9 . I have to wonder if these Christians have read that . Or Luke ch12 v13-34 . Have they read that ? Phillipians ch4 v11 ? Hebrews Ch 13 v5 ? . I don't understand how any one can read the Bible and be in any doubt at all about what God and Jesus think of money and how They expect us to behave with regard to money . I used to love roulette . I would never do the lottery because I am genuinely afraid of what would happen to me if I won . What would I spend all that money on ? Necessaries ? Or luxuries ? Things I really need to exist ? Or stuff that I just want because I like it . Money changes lives . A local lottery winner here bought his teenage son a quad bike . This young man is in a coma because he crashed . His dad is distraught and feels responsible . Money changes your life and the way people behave towards you . If you are suffering a genuine need pray to God for help , ask your church or your family , get another job , cut back in some way , don't gamble . Trust in the Lord with all thy heart and lean not unto thine own understanding . He will help you .
  • Romans 10 - 2 years ago
Romans 10 was written for those Jews who were still struggling "under the law". For there was a righteousness obtained thru the law but that law ended with Christ (vs. 4) Then the writer distinguishes our righteousness(which is as filthy rags Is. 64:6) and the righteousness that Christ gives you if you believe on him and that righteousness is faith(vs 6). Vs. 7-8 he asking do you(Jews first) believe in the authority of Jesus Christ to be able to rise from the grave. Vs. 9 is a continuation of the prior verses on believing the power of Christ it ends with:..."thou shalt be saved." it is a confession of the prior scriptures, not you ARE saved. Verses 10-13 are a reiteration of all the prior scriptures, ending with "made UNTO salvation, shall not be ashamed,(of who he is) all that call upon him, shall be saved yes that is true but that isn't all we need to do. Lets look at the REST of the chapter. Verses 14-16 talks about how can one call on Jesus unless they first believe,(TRUE) how can the believe unless they hear?(TRUE), how can they hear unless they are preached to?... and this is where it gets STICKY. What do I need to hear? and why would we need a preacher if all I need to do is Believe? Well the next few verses answers those questions(15-18) and right in the middle there(vs.16) he says an interesting thing: "but they have not all OBEYED the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath BELIEVED our report. Now he puts obedience and believing in the same verse....why? he answers that in vs.17 "so then faith cometh(keeps on coming) by hearing"....see we don't stop at just believing(I can believe all my life that I can cross the Grand Canyon standing in front of a bridge that will take me to the other side but if I don't take that first step UPON that bridge I will never get there) you see BELIEVING is the BEGINING, FAITH is EVERY step after that. "Faith without works is dead" James 2:20. I'm out of space PLEASE READ REST OF Chapter. God Bless.
  • The sinners prayer - 2 years ago
Where is the "sinners prayer" found? How do I know(or anyone else) when I'm born again of God's Spirit? Legit questions, I want to know. If salvation (from Hell) is not a "reward" than what is it? I don't think anyone is "saved or sealed" and do anything you want to, there are to many examples in God's word. Just ask Satan, he was there(heaven) and was cast out! because of pride, and making himself liken unto God, there is only one Person who can Promise all things and Guarantee ALL things and that is God. The Word tells us to be faithful, to watch, to do, to sow, to reap, ect., but is not until we stand before Him (in heaven) when He says: "well DONE my faithful servant" We are promised the Holy Ghost (with the evidence of speaking in tongues) but there is a stipulation that comes with it, we have to live an overcoming life, "walk in that spirit", "do mind the things of the spirit", "submit yourselves to a Higher Power", "die daily", "there is a war in our members", these are quotes found in scripture all thru the New Test. from a man who thought he was doing the right thing(and was as far as the Jewish law was concerned) but had an CONVERSION but still wrote those words. What makes me any different? I want to know. In Christ. With Love.

This chapter doesnt specify what Babylon sin is for God to want to destroy them.

Thank you DAISY for clarifying this on the discussion forum. Maybe next chapters will disclose this?

    LUKE 6

35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: FORGIVE, and ye shall be forgiven

    LUKE 18: 9-14

And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:

Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. [a sinner]

The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, GOD, BE MERCIFUL TO ME A SINNER.

I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbles himself shall be exalted.

[Do we ever consider how blessed we are that THE ELECTION PASSED TO THE GENTILES??

Have we ever considered the Jews who lived and died throughout the Holocaust? "Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem" is not a plea. It's a strong request by The Lord.

I read a prophesy by Arthur E Bloomfield, who said that the United States would do something so heinous that the Entire World would Turn Against Us. (Back in the 70's). We're here. It's happening. Our soldiers have been betrayed. The world views us as WEAK; from the White House, all the way down.

WHO WILL RISE UP TO DEFEND OUR FLAG, OUR CONSTITUTION, OUR BILL OF RIGHTS ??!!

VOTE & MAKE SURE IT GETS COUNTED THIS NEXT TIME.

They didn't teach that in High School did they?

    what is gambling?

    is gambling a sin?

    what is a mortgages loan?

is a mortgages, is it a form of gambling?

gambling is a risk to get rich or lost it?

to me a mortgages loan is also a risk, because if you are no longer able to pay, you also lost it?

so what is the difference between the two in the bible?
