  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on John 14
Hello Lois, To further clarify John 1 1 states "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God ". Verse 10 "He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not ". Who was in the world? Jesus Christ. Verse 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. See Jesus who is the Word was in the world, he made the world, and the Word was God. In Genesis 1 1 "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth,
  • William on Psalms 42:11
Many times in life we may feel discouraged, but there is a place we can go. David had this kind of day when he wrote this scripture. He had to talk to himself and say you need to trust God. he reminded himself to put his future in God 's hands. What has you down? It may be a doctor 's report, job loss, divorce, child on drugs, family problems, death of loved one, senseless evil or attack against you. If you can turn your eyes on the Lord and see His salvation your heart will be filled with a new hope for living!
  • Essie on Romans 7
It 's clearly outlined in this chapter that God makes us free moral agents, but in that freedom we see ourselves weak and powerless to perform all that God commands. So what does one do? For every command there is an empowerment to do, but the only way to perform it, is to believe it, against what we see or how we feel. Hope that is seen is not hope. The centurion said, "Speak the word only. " And Jesus called that "GREAT FAITH " It 's something to consider deeply!
  • KokTho on James 1
James ' emphasis on sanctification good works seems at odds with the widely accepted idea that salvation is by " justification alone " to the extent that Lutherans have moved the book of James to the latter sections of their Bible. So, salvation according to James is both justification and sanctification ?
  • KIMBA JOHN GABRIEL on Numbers 12:3
  • Anonymous on Ezekiel 23:8
I 've always been curious about these verses. Does it mean that any time a woman 's breast is fondled she is committing a whoredom? Were these women married to someone else and that 's why? And what about actresses. Even in some pg movies there are scenes where a woman lets a man touch her breast. Does this mean the actress is committing a whoredom?
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Romans 1
Hello John, In addition to the comments that I have made which I hope gets printed here is one more. In verse number 20 when God said, And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous If I can say it like this notice the word sin there is no s on it to indicate plural or many sins. The focused seemed to have been on the one particular sin. That was the desire of men with men. Homosexuality. When the LORD said in verse 21 I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me and if not, I will know . The scripture stated it , referring back to sin being singular. The only thing sin or it focused on that night was those men asking and wanting to have the angels of God which were men. They did not want the women that Lot offered them. They wanted the men. Think about this, if their intentions were honorable why did Lot offer his virgin daughters? This is continue with the next Genesis 19.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Romans 1
In addition to my other comment, in Romans Chapter 1 it states Verse 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves Verse 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature. Verse 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that reompence of their error which was meet. I ask again what is Homosexuality? Homosexuality is men having sex with men, women having sex with women. This is what these scriptures are talking about. For this God turned them over to a reprobated mind.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Romans 1
Hello John, What is Homosexuality? It is a man having sex with a man. It is a woman having sex with a woman. Homosexuality was used as a punishment for those who corrupted God 's Word and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God. God turned them over to a reprobated mind. A mind that is condemned or a totally lost soul. Romans Chapter 1. So why would God use Homosexuality as a punishment and then turn around and okay it for humans to do? God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah for this sin. The men of those cities did not want the daughters of Lot, even after Lot offered the daughters to them. They wanted the angles, the men of God. I do not think they wanted to have a conversation with them, because if they did then I sure that the angels would not have blinded them. Read my answer under Genesis Chapter 9.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Genesis 3
Part 3 of 3 There is nowhere in the Bible where it states that Satan begot anybody. Also, what are you going to do with the scripture that says all souls belong to God? Ezekiel 18 3 As I live, saith the Lord God, ye shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel, Behold, all souls are mine as the soul of the son is mine the soul that sinneth, it shall die . Also would Satan be listed in the lineage of this people? Think about this, all of the people before the flood died in the flood except Noah and his family which numbered 8 people. There was only eight people alive after the flood. 1 Peter 3 20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water . None of Cain s people lived. I did not read in the lineage of Noah where Cain or Satan was there.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Genesis 3
Part 2 of 3 I know that many people over the years have attributed Cain s birth to Satan because they wanted a certain group of people to be from that group, but the truth of the matter is Satan did not begot Cain. If you say this then you are calling the Bible a lie. Because in Genesis 4 1 it states And Adam knew Eve his wife and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord . Think about, he had already known her and named her. So this means that he knew her sexually. Then Adam said I have gotten a man from the LORD . Who is the LORD? GOD is the LORD. So how can anyone continue to say that Cain was begotten of Satan? Also Moses wrote the first five books of the Bible under the direction of God. I am sure that if Satan had begotten anybody then God would have let it be written.
  • Chris Head on Numbers 21:14
This is very confusing to me. This verse suggests that there is another book. Is this a book for us Christians or is this truly a book that exists in heaven?
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Genesis 1
Part 1 of 3 Hello Delilah, Are you asking me to make my comment more vividly? It is pretty much vivid I think. However, see everything belongs to God. Nothing belongs to us. Psalm 24 1 The earth is the LORD S, and the fullness thereof the world, and they that dwell therein. Psalm 50 10 For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. Haggai 2 8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts. Like Adam in the garden we are to take care of that which God has given unto man. Even though the ground was cursed and man has to tile the ground for food and such, God never told man to destroy this Earth.
  • Doris Early on Revelation 11
The two witnesses are described. oNe had power to pray and it did not rained and pray and it rained Elijah . the other candle stick has power to turn water into blood and plagues Moses Moses wss buried by God. elijah was raptured. It is a picture of the Rapture. For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout ....The dead like Moses will rise first and those alive and remaining like Elijah will be caught up to be with THEM. It may even be the rapture ..The voice says come up Hiter ...Some say one is enoch he was old testament and was translated. But when did encoh turn water to blood and have power over plagues?
  • I hvent shaved for two months because im going to Israel. Ive read alot and still have no answer. Should men not shave, keep a shaven beard, or what is the holy standard?
  • Lois Baldoza on John 14
Ileana Pierra How can you say If you have been baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit..that is not scriptural. ?? When Matthew 28 19 says Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,Its right white!
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on John 14
Part 2 In John 14 8 to 10, Jesus acknowledges he is the Father. Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you and yet has thou not known me, Philip? He that hath seen me hath seen the Father and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works . The flesh is a house in which the spirit and soul resides. In 11 Corinthians 5 19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation .
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on 1 Corinthians 15
Part 3 of 3 Now if you want to look at it this way you can say that we who have gone through the symbolic death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ by doing what Acts 2 38 states to do are now dead to sin, Romans 6 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? We are standing on the Word of God upholding the blood stain banner for those of us that are sleeping in Christ who are waiting for the rapture then I can understand that. Like so many other Christians Paul went through persecution as well, I Corinthians 15 30 And why stand we in jeopardy every hour? But in no way is this scripture talking about that we are baptized for our love ones are anyone else through DNA or blood or blood line and that they do not have to go through Acts 2 38. This is not saying that they are automatically saved because we are. In the end, if the people now during this Dispensation of Grace do not take on the name of Jesus Christ before they die they are not saved after death. It is too late, Hebrews 9 27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment
  • Ar on John 14
I definitely agree with Lois Baldoza 's remark re John chapter 14. The Trinity Father,Son and Holy Spirit was there before the Creation see Genesis chapter one, referring to this, God,the spirit and the Word . Also Mark chapter 1 verses 9 10 and 11. Then 1 John chapter 5 verse 7. You see Evangelist Chatauna Robinson, how clear the Bible talks in Old and New Testament about the Trinity God?
  • Morris mensah on Hebrews 12:14
What then is holiness? Holiness means setting yourself apart for the lord. It comes with self feniance and conscious effort to please God. One has to suppress the flesh in an attempt to pleasing God. May God help us to be holy for without holiness no man shall see God.
  • Nicola on Acts 27
Whose report hath they believed? They took counsel from men rather than Paul who had the ability to speak the oracle of God . Surely we see that flesh will fail you. God is omniscient and we ought to hear Him and eat the good of the land Too often we ignore God and hence all the chaos in our world.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on John 1
Part 1 of 3 Hello Linton, Men place burdens on people for profit or gain. Some do this to line their pockets, by telling people to give up all of their wealth to them because Jesus Christ is returning soon and you do not need to take it with you. However, this is a trick of the devil. Because you have to ask yourself this question if Jesus is coming back then why do they need all my money, home, cars, etc.? People have given everything up to false prophets because they do not understand the Word of God. The only thing that God is requiring of man to give is a tenth of his earnings and an offering. This means that one dime out of every dollar is given that you make. You can either pay on your gross or on your net. If you choose to pay on your net then at the end of the year when you file your taxes you pay tithes on it. If you make money on the side by selling something you still only pay a tenth out of that money.
  • Divinity on Isaiah 9:17
seems to be the on going pattern, I get told to have compassion on the evil doer, how can one be tender hearted towards that which in turn hurts and hates God?
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Genesis 1
I am submitting this for the third time because it has not showed up as of yet. Hello John, Part 1of 3 This drug not only causes damage to the brain, but causes respiratory illnesses as well. If a person is a true Christian he or she should not be indulging their body in anything that can damage it. 1 Corinthians 3 16 17 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy for the temple of God is holy which temple ye are. See Corinthians was written to true believers. Those people that followed Acts 2 38 to sum it up. Paul was teaching them about their bodies and how to maintain it for God s purpose. If you continue to read over in Chapter 6 of this same book you will find that you are not even supposed to become drunkards.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Genesis 3
Hello Insight, God did not tell Adam not to touch the tree. Genesis 2 17 "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die ". See God had given Adam the charge of tending to everything in the garden, Genesis 2 15 "And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it ". Therefore, he had to touch the tree in order to take care of it like the rest of the garden. God told him not to eat of that tree. When God confronted Adam and Eve, he reminded them what he had said Genesis 3 11 "And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat? " If I can say it like this, Eve added to what God stated and this is how the serpent was able to get a foot in the door, because once she touched it and did not die she continued down that path to eat that fruit that was on that tree.
  • Linton on John 1
from what i read in the bible i understand the need for giving but do have a problem with giving more of whatever income you may. there was a time when all i could give was a part of my time to God which was a blessing for me. but this 100 fold to 1000 fold giving don 't believe this is what God wanted fro us, can you explain this?
  • Charles Allen on Psalms 12:5
What I have to say is fact and no lie. Yes, Psalm 12 v 5 is true as like all other scriptures about the poor and needy in God 's Living Word is true and powerful. But! This the rich just bluntly refuse today, treating the poor and needy like mongrel dogs, kicking them out of the way. As soon as the poor cry out, they are ignored and considered as the scrap of this world. No one can with all honesty before the Living Eternal God dispute the truth of this. But what I can say is, the day is coming where the poor and needy shall rejoice and the rich who shut their ears to the cries of the poor and needy, will be slaughtered by the Sword of God 's Living Word Jesus Christ. Which true believer can stand up and say that as it stands in Matthew 25 v 31 to 46, James 2 and James 5 v 1 to 6, etc is a lie? Those who ignore these scriptures, will receive what God has promised, and that is eternal damnation.
  • Bowman on Acts 13:29
Explain why some use Cross and some use tree? Did not God say my word change not? His name will always be God because He is God! He had to come in the form of a Man whom He called Jesus and we know that Jesus and God are the same. However, a cross is not the same as a tree, would you please explain why it has been changed by your interpretation?
  • James on Romans 12
One of the most common questions asked is what 's Gods will for my life? Verse 1 and 2 tells us that the will of God is not so much about where I am and where I 'm going, but what type of person I am.
  • Victor on Acts 2
About what times is talking Peter in this chapter? Is he referring to 21st century time, too? Acts 2 14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words 15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit and they shall prophesy
