In verse 21 Jacob said that if God was with him and kept him safe, provided him with food clothing and that he would once again go back to his Father 's House in peace, then shall the Lord be his God. So that means that Jacob never recognised the Lord as his God before the dream ???

Please HELP! This has been a controversial discussion during Sunday School several churches with regard to "who will be turned over to a reprobate mind "? A person who has accepted Christ and then decide to go his her way, OR when a sinner chooses to satisfy the flesh and continues to ignore the conviction of the Holy Spirit to give his her life to Christ? I really need clarification. Is it the sinner man? Does it pertains to the backslider who has given up and no longer wants to follow Christ? Who will be given over to a "reprobate mind ". Prayerfully submitted-
  • RNM on Revelation 13
REV 13...Many will say to me in that day Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?....And then I will profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. MATT 7:22-23.....Our Messiah is evidently talking to people who believed they were Christian....Not everyone that saith unto me Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven but he that doeth the Will of my father which is in Heaven. Obedience is God 's will. MATT 7:21...Is following after the belief of the Sunday Sabbath, of GOD, No! it is a Man made tradition! A catholic tradition...... Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto LIFE, AND FEW THERE BE THAT FIND IT. MATT7:14 GOD IS SAYING: COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE, AND BE NOT PARTAKERS OF THE WRATH THAT IS COMING UPON THE CHILDREN OF DISOBIENCE!!! It 's very real, and coming soon. AMEN!!
  • Sharon on Matthew 24
I have encountered controversy over many of the verses in this chapter. I was raised to believe in a secret rapture since I was a child, but this entire chapter speaks to the contrary. My questions are this if anyone can help. If believers will be removed during a secret rapture before the tribulation, why would Jesus provide this detailed warning that we will see the antichrist seated in the church and give us instructions to flee? 15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, whoso readeth, let him understand: 16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Satan will be given permission to wage war against the saints. If all have been raptured, then this would not be possible. A secret rapture would give discredit to the words of God. We all will face persecution from the antichrist. The world will be split between those deceived and the elect who see the truth as God reveals it. 23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Some believe that verse 40 and 41 prove a rapture. I see this as a symbolic verse of the split of the world. Those who follow the antichrist and those who refuse.

GODS QUESTIONMARK ON YOU...Phalieman 1:8-22... 1Reference: whois your reference and who take responsibility for your sins, your problems, your attitudes, Jesus, said will take responsibility- That is Christ...Just as a person will use you as a have to answer some questions about that person..maybe 2 or three...most of us use or pastor and they will ask they come to church?...are they there on time? ..Do they attend regularly?...Jesus is our reference for God... 2.Return..the return to Philemon as a different changeperson from slave to a person...Paul looked at the slave as a person and not a slave. 3. Reconciliation- Take him backas a brother to serve with you in Christ.....Paul wrote this in his own hand to teach about his personal pledge to the teach Philimon the rich man...2nd Corintians 5:19---21...The slave changed his life after he had run away and come back as Paul was his reference...

Do we have prophets on the land today?
  • Jerry on James 4
Prayer is the result of mans call upon God even the righteous ask amiss at times or we ask not. The emphasis of James writing in chapter 4 is directed to the age old problem between man and God. Can He provide all that we need or must we continue to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil? We need humility rather to inquire of God , Jesus suffered and died for this cause.
  • RNM ROM-------17 on Romans 7
Romans chp 7--Probably one half of the Worlds population profess to be Christian, around three to three and one half billion people. But their is something odd, in what our Messiah said in Matt. 7:14..Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.. an ODD thing for our Savior to say, seeing how many Christians are living just in this age alone? And then we have this scripture Matt 7:21 Not everyone that saith unto me Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he that doeth the WILL of my FATHER which is in Heaven..... Not everyone, referring to more than one,... saith Lord, Lord, evidently these are people that have believed in Jesus, Now He says, but he that doeth the will of my Father? What is the will of God?.. The Will of GOD is this,we believe that GOD is the Creator and that he has created everything that has been created, and nothing remaining. He has sent into this World our sacrifice, to shed his Holy Blood and cleanse all mankind of their sin, we are to be obedient to Him, and His Commandments, giving our total allegiance to Him and His word. This is Gods will. OK, Now we see this scripture Matt 7:22---MANY, will say to me in that day LordLord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works. Matt 7:23 And then I will profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity....Now we see who He is talking about, professing Christians probably believing in this life, they are pleasing the Lord, but to the Lord they are far from Him!! II TIM 4:3-4...For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears: And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. Since the Blasphemous satanic roman church changed the sacred Holy Sabbath of GOD and slaughtered the saints of God, man has followed after the traditions of man, their traditions which has brought mankind to this point today, a FALSE RELIGION, THE SUNDAY WORSHIP is secretly the worship of the pagan sun god! satan has tricked you through the deception of all the churches, catholic and protestant, their is none of God. you don 't think it 's possible, lets go back to before the flood, he deceived the whole Earth then to and they all perished! And he doing it again and laughing at all of you. Find a Bible believing seventh day believing, group of people that don 't observe holy days, they were nailed to the cross, and don 't observe Christmas, or easter, two pagan satanic days. along with Halloween. And may GOD help you for your sake. AMEN!!!

Mathew 12 37 " thy words thou salt be justified and by thy words thou shalt be condemned... " Likewise, see James 3:13 "Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? Let him shew out of a good conversation... " and Luke 6:45 "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that wich is good...for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. " Also Pro. 10:10 "...With the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. " See Pro. 18:21 "Death and life are in the power of the tongue... " and James 3:10 "Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. " My understanding of all these is that a curse is more than just a 4-letter word. It can be an act that invokes harm to another or it can be an act of profanity, i.e. implying content of religious things th4ru speech or action. I encourage readers with prayer for understanding first to re-read what the world calls "The Lord 's Prayer " in this regard, referencing this prayer with Heb. 2:14-15 and Col. 1:13

How does a spiritual child of God live in a world that is 3-dimensional and controlled by the devil? We walk by faith not by sight! II Cor.5:7 "...if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature... " II Cor.5:17 . Therefore, we must actively "Set your affections on things above, not on things on the earth. " Col.3:2 Let your desire to please your Heavenly Father control your life style. Let God 's Word re-train your mind, bringing your attitudes, values and beliefs back into harmony with God 's principles. And let God 's Word dictate what you allow your body to do. Rom.12:1-2 "...for they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh but they that are after the Spirit, the things of the spirit...For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. " Rom.8:1, 5, 14 "Wherefore, gird up the loins of your mind be...obedient..., not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance. " I Peter 1:13-14 "...for why will ye die? • Helen Blanton Allen on Daniel 12
The Book of Daniel coincides with the Book of Revelation. Daniel was talking about the future, present. For hundreds of years, no one could understand Daniels ' prophecy and the Book of Revelation. We are only just now beginning to put the two together and understand. Problem is, pastors do not want to preach on these two books. Either they are afraid they will offend their congregation, or else they do not understand themselves. We are living in the last days. The Antichrist is getting ready to appear. Are we ready to recognize this angel of Light when he appears? There will many calling themselves Christians, who will believe and follow this Antichrist. Only those of us who are truly saved will know who this deceiver is. He will deceive the entire world, only a few will remain faithful. They are the ones who will be martyred for their faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Sam, God does give all that we need! Himself! His Son! What more is needed? Yes, I suppose we all have earthly "needs, " but those are more of just "wants. " We can survive a fiery furnace or a den of lions or living on the streets with nothing but the presence of the almighty! Hebrews 13:5 - "...For He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. " Do not be discouraged brother! :-

  • Jacob on Acts 2
The sabbath was for Israel because they require a sign 1 Cor 1:22. Moreover also I gave them my SABBATHS to be a SIGN between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them. Ez 20:12. And madest known unto them they holy SABBATH, and commandedst them precepts, statutes, and laws, by thy hand of Moses thy servant: Neh 9:14. If you keep one point of the law you have to keep it all, James 2:10. Do you work on the Sabbath? Death then see Ex 35:2. Do you start your car on the Sabbath? That 's starting a fire on the Sabbath. Death for you then Ex 35:3. Thank the Lord for dying on the cross for our sins. He kept the whole because we couldn't do it. Trust Him not yourself. Wonder why Paul the apostle to the Gentiles Rom 11:13, left out the Sabbath in Romans 13:9. Verse 8 says :for he that love another has fulfilled the law. Whaaaaat? Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God and every one that love is born of God, and known God.
  • Jacob on Acts 2
They that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do the other scriptures, unto their own destruction 2 Peter 3:16. Desiring to be teachers of the law understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm. But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage? Ye observe DAYS, and months, and times, and years. Gal 4:9-10. Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an HOLYDAY, or of the new moon, or of THE SABBATH DAYS: Col 2:16.
  • Debba on Matthew 15:26
Where did tradition really come from? Are these people who keep traditions today pharisess? We as believers are to watch what come out from our mouth when ministering to people who are lost, we could be judging, however if that person want to have a relationship with God. I think people of God should live by example with their life not words, you should not be putting pearls in the ears of lost people, unless they are repenting and coming to Christ.
  • Edith Frimpong on Psalms 1
This is an insightful inspiration from God through David. Many of us point at de-associating ourselves from the ungodly, the scornful and the unrighteous. But this also requires an inner reflection of our lives. Are we being true to God? Are we requesting for blessings from Him when we genuinely know we are not true to Him? Are we part of the ungodly group? Are we losing our valuable christian friends due to our gradual stray from the word of God? Let us ponder over these questions.
  • Omale on Matthew 16
The key for me is in verses 15 and 19. In verse 15 Jesus gave the challenge " but who do you think I am "? We are quick to point the way to others. We are quick to see and hear others but not ourselves. The personal relationship with God is what God requires from us and never a group thing. Who is Jesus to you? Then in verse 19 it becomes clear that only those with a clear understanding of their relationship with Christ will have the revelations from Him. The keys of heaven is given to those who know Him. With this key, you are in charge of this world. You can bind and loose. The keys are for the kingdom use. They must be used for His glory. Know Him and you will have the keys.
  • RNM ACTS 2-----14 on Acts 2
Was the Messiah LYING to the prisoner on the cross next to him, "HE WASNT BAPTISED ".... And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us. But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom...... And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise Luke 23:39-43....Baptism is not what saves a person it is the GRACE OF GOD!! The baptism is an outward testimony of salvation, and Obedience, and also sincere Obedience to GOD requires us to observe all ten Commandments of GOD. That includes the 7th day Sabbath, despite the world view. AMEN!!!
  • Insight 777 on Daniel 9
Verse25, God is higher than a king, a king is higher than a prince. When Jesus returns would it be to hold a lesser position than the kings of the earth, returning as a prince and not a king? Kings rule kingdoms, not princes. This is a scripture that makes me think that the Messiah the prince spoken of here is not Jesus but another anticipated Messiah. Because when Jesus returns it is to set up a kingdom to rule. If Messiah the prince is Jesus then there will be an earthly king that rules him. I have found no scripture that supports that.

  • John on Genesis 6
Hey Alvin. I can tell you what happened to the angels who fathered the hybrid race. God tells us that He locked them in unbreakable chains, in Tartarus - Tartarus is also called The Pit, and The Pit, is literally in the midst of the earth. The hybrid offspring are the Nephilim, and they almost took over the entire world. That is why God destroyed them with the flood. But, the scriptures tell us there were giants in the earth in those days days of Noah and also afterwards after when? after the flood. It is my belief that the small grey "aliens " are actually fallen angels, trying to create another race which could destroy humankind. The scriptures don 't tall us what happened to the women who were married to the angels. They probably had no choice, and therefore were not found guilty. The scriptures tell us these angels "took whoever they wanted " 2 Peter 2:4 4 "For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment 5And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly 6And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an example unto those that after should live ungodly " Hope this helps Alvin. • Joni G on Romans 1
Yes, just to say I believe God in my heart and believe in His power is not enough to save you. Otherwise, no verses would be in the Bible that ask believers to be baptized. All those people on the day of Pentecost and after would have never asked believers to repent and be baptized. They were filled with the Holy Spirit. They could not lie. Acts 22:16 Paul told the audience that Ananias asked him to be baptized and wash away his sins. Paul was still filled with the Holy Spirit. He could not have lied. Why did God ask Abraham to sacrifice his only son? Couldn 't Abraham have just said, I believe you God and not made the trip? Abraham had waited 20 years for the promise of a son. Is it too much to ask that we be baptized once we believe? I think not. We should follow and obey Jesus in anything he requires of us. God bless you RNM and all. May we all grow in the grace and knowledge of Him.
  • Peleg for in his days the earth was divided. Peleg 6389 Strong 's the same as 6388 earthquake 6388 Strong 's the same as 6385 palag, paw-lag ' a prim. root to split lit. or fig. :-divide The division of the Northern "tribes " from the Southern "tribes " may be the time this name is depicting. Was this in the time of Rehoboam and Jeroboam and the split of the two houses? Why would one make note of an "earthquake " in a name if there was only division amongst the "tribes "? And was this what it was or was there an actual earthquake in diverse places to have divided the people? One may believe it to be a simple thing such as the division of the houses of Israel, but again why would a father name one of his son 's a name meaning "earthquake " unless the land was actually physically divided?
