The mystery was revealed throughout the whole Old Testament when God spoke through the prophets of the Gentiles being saved. As a matter of fact Abraham was a Gentile. Gentiles have always been grafted in even under the old covenant from the time of Egypt at the very beginning, to the time of Esther when many converted to following the God fo the Jews, and many other passages. Always been ONE people. Only difference is they had to wait for the new covenant to begin IN THE FULLNESS OF TIME. Abraham was of Syrian descent as he was a close cousin of "Laban the Syrian".

Was not Jesus revealed tot he Jews FIRST thus fulfilling over 300 prophecies? To fulfill 8 prophecies is a mathematical improbability according tot he mathematicians would be like picking the right atom out of the entire universe and when you bump that up to 9 it most likely doubles. We are talking 300 to 330 fulfilled prophecies.

Jews have been being saved and been preached to for 2,000 years. Always ONE people.

In Romans Paul says only a remnant will be saved when he quotes Isaiah and Revelation 11 confirms that only a remnant give glory to God at the time of the 7th trumpet. It doesn't say they got saved but only that they give glory to God. That is who I think will repopulate the planet for the 1,000 year reign of Christ. The modern Sanhedrin are pushing the noah hide laws right now upon all the Gentiles and they are the only people that will be exempt from having to abide by them. They are talmudic laws and not Biblical at all.

If the Bible says to preach to Jerusalem and Judea first, how do you interpret Matthew 21:43?

YOU: Actually, there are various aspects from the Word, which compel me to believe that there will be a removal of His people first before the Anger of the Lord is poured out. Most of these you will be aware of:

ME: Sure your not pre-wrath? Tribulation of Satan which we are promised throughout the gospels and God's wrath on the wicked are two different things.

YOU: a. Genesis 6-8. Noah & his family were saved at a time of God's Wrath upon the wicked.

ME: They were not removed from the earth but protected.

YOU: b. Exodus 7 ff. The children of Israel delivered from Pharaoh after God's judgement against Egypt.

ME: Your sounding pre-wrath rapture to me.

YOU: c. Israel too suffered at times, only because of their disobedience to God, idolatry & many crimes.

ME: They and individuals also suffered for no good reason at all. Joseph suffered slavery and betrayed by brothers but God used it for His glory just one of many examples.Who am I to be better than Polycarp, John's disciple, who was tortured before being burned alive. Or James, or John the Baptist or all of the prophets who served God more than any of us ever will or the apostles who were martyred or John who was boiled but survived. I only wish pre-trib was true. Paul puts the harpazo AFTER the dead in Christ rise whcih is the resurrection and RIGHT WITH the parousia (physical return of the Lord). That word UNTO is very important in that passage. When we leave every word in there and don't add any words the passage is very clear. The word REMAIN means SURVIVE also.Survive what if we are gone? I had a woman tell me that if the pre-trib rapture isn't true than Jesus is a liar and no better than the devil but there are many clear verses that point to it not being true. Doctrine is based on clear verses, not unclear verses.Did you know Dr. Thomas Ice is trying to make the word apostasia a rapture word now? It is always used as ONE DEPARTING FROM THE FAITH. He knows there isn't one clear verse proving what he teaches

    Hi Mishael,

Do you know what your name means? I never saw that before. Is it a form of Michael? I hope we can discuss this in a godly manner.

The oil for the lamps is the Holy Spirit.

In this parable, did not ALL the virgins have oil at one time and why are they called virgins? The five foolish virgins had oil but then ran out. Where the five wise virgins had oil but ALSO

Matthew 25:3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

Matthew 25:4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

    Matthew 25:8 and the foolish said to the prudent, Give us of your oil, because our lamps are going out;

Matthew 25:9 and the prudent answered, saying-Lest there may not be sufficient for us and you, go ye rather unto those selling, and buy for yourselves.
Chris, It is true that God knows things. He is Omniscient. But God is not a reactionary God. That is, He does not sees or know that something is going to happen and then reacts to that event. He does not see man is going to sin, so He provides a Savior. The Bible gives us an image of a God that is active in His creation. He Plans, then acts. To limit God to merely responding to what He perceives is going to happen, limits His ability to act. He is not a passive observer of history. He is involved and He is engaged with us in daily and constant prayer.

When you say, "I see that God's Foreknowledge determined His Plan to accomplish His Purposes," are you saying, "He knows what is going to happen in the Future and He acts on that"? Or "Based on His knowledge and understanding, He determines what He is going to do and how to accomplish it"? Examples: 1. I know what an engine looks like, so I will build one. 2. Based on my knowledge of mechanics, I will design an engine. The first robs God of all creativity, since He is only copying what He sees. I believe the latter is more Biblical, because God is in control. But if we think of God's Foreknowledge as a reaction to what He knows will happen in the Future, based on His omniscience, we make Him a prisoner of the Future.

The perception that the Future exists as an observable or knowable entity is flawed. We can't travel into the Future, because it doesn't exist. And if it did, we wouldn't be able to change it. The same is true for the Past. If there were such a thing as the Future, it would be set. That is, what the Future is, it is. Not even God could change it. Think about it. The perception of some is that God, in a sense, is reading in a book everything that's going to happen and that's how He knows the future. He didn't Plan the coming of Christ, He simply knew that was what was going to happen. But that is not what the Bible says. The Bible tells us God is in Control of creation, History and the future.

But where my problem lies, is from one of our earlier discussions on: 'God's whole plan for Creation was to have Christ come into His Creation as a Man, to redeem man from his corruption' (or words to that effect). To me, that sounds like God's creation of man was unnecessary except to be the 'vehicle' for Christ's physical embodiment to lay down His Life. I disputed that, even to this time I find no need for God to even create man, if it was only for Christ's Sacrificial purposes. Why create man in the first place, I think was my original question? I believe you referred to God's Planning in your answer: that it was in God's original design that man would be born into corruption, hence the Plan for Christ's appearance. It is this issue that I stumbled on (as well as God's Planning vs His Foreknowledge).

Again, I agree that Christ's coming was in God's original Design to rescue fallen man, but to just create man for no other reason except for Christ's humanity, I find my mind unable to grasp such a thought. And at that time, we had discussed the purposes of man's creation. I had said that it was for God's Pleasure (He saw that ALL of His Creation was good/very good) & that His creation (man) had the privilege of living amongst all of God's Creation & enjoying a pure & holy relationship with his Maker: even as His other Creation (angels) are now enjoying. Another answer to this question, I don't have, as I'm not privy to it, but to believe man's creation was just for the entrance of Christ, is strange. To all this you did disagree, & I accept that since it is not specified as such, just my supposition from the tenor of relevant Scripture.

Carlos, your comment (May 13th) is not posted in this section even though I'm directed to it. So I'll respond anyway, reading if off my email.

I do agree with you on all of your points, i.e. Christ was given a body as man's; all the relevant Scriptures point to this event (Abel's offering & Abraham's offering of Isaac, & many others that signify the need for Christ to ultimately make payment for sins, for which animal sacrifices could not). I agree as well to, "is it fair to conclude that both the Shadow and the object that casts that Shadow, Christ, were for Christ to enter the world as the True Sacrificial Lamb?" Yes, this is the correct conclusion.

You quote Isaiah 40:3. I wish I could find my reference to that as it's not in the referenced thread. I think some of my pages sent to you & probably others from you have been clipped. I had sent four pages recently, but only one (the fourth page: the two trees) appears. I just don't recall using Isaiah 40:3 at this juncture. So, in truth, you have expressed yourself very clearly & I've had no difficulty in understanding your points & I find myself in complete agreement with them in your post. (onto page 2)
Chris, I question that God just lets us go about our business without interfering. You say God created us and left us alone? But the Bible says otherwise. In Daniel 11:29, the Angel tells Daniel that "at the Appointed Time" something will happen. That is a recurring theme throughout the Bible. Christ came at the Appointed Time. He will return at the Appointed Time. What does it mean to "appoint" something? Clearly, it is God who appoints. It is God who "Schedules". It is God who Plans and Determines the course of history. Isaiah 41:4, "Who has accomplished this? Who has determined the course of history from the beginning? I, the LORD, was there first, and I will be there to the end." (God's Word Translation). Isaiah 46:10, "I distinguish the end from the beginning, and ancient times from what is still to come...'My purpose will be established, and I will accomplish all My good pleasure.'

In Genesis 18:14, Abraham is asked, "Is anything too difficult for the LORD? At the Appointed Time I will return to you-in about a year-and Sarah will have a son." Was Sarah having a baby something God knew about the Future or something He deliberately Planned and caused to happen? Did God just want Sarah to have a baby, or was there a Purpose behind it? Did God Plan the birth of Isaac with a Purpose?

We can say that God knows what is in the heart of man, but how does He know it? See John 2:25, "But Jesus did not entrust Himself to them, for He knew all men. He did not need any testimony about man, for He knew what was in a man."

Let me interject, that while I have an opinion based on what is available, given my experience and studies, this is what I have concluded. But the fact is, I don't know. I could be wrong. You might be right. But this is how I see it.

Paul speaks of God's Pre-destination of our adoption, of being conformed to His image. Ephesians 1:11,'My purpose will be established, and I will accomplish all My good pleasure'. God is not just involved, He determines.
  • Mishael ON God39s Love on Revelation 7:9

God (The LET US) existed before Creation. He's the Alpha and the Omega.

Original language in Genesis, says: in Beginning. Not in the beginning.

He created TIME first. Everything on earth and in the universe, was going to be regulated on time and seasons.

Everything scientist seek to explain: Time, Force. Action, Matter; is explained in Genesis 1:1. One verse. What a mighty God we serve.

Yes he sees mankind all through history (HIS STORY). But he gave us free will.

After Satan was thrown to earth by Michael the Archangel, he was here also with his will. I call him the I will I will I will mess up Gods plans. There's a scripture that says God is at work within our will to help us align our will with His , for our life. I need a lot of that, so I ask for it.

So you can see that we are the owner operators of our will. Yes God sees what we may choose. If we're completely closed off to the Holy Spirit, we make huge mistakes at times. Sometimes we miss out on Gods best for us because we are frequently boneheads about choices. We spend the rest of our lives lamenting that we wish we had not chosen that disaster.

I absolutely love God for that. He had my devotion at hello, Yom Kippur 1985. I had this vision one time of flying with the clouds, and I'd inhale this air that was so Good. Couldn't inhale enough. The air of heaven is faith. We have so much to look forward to. All the Lord needs is a open heart that wants to be filled with love. God is Love.

He's not mean. His judgments are righteous. Instead of cross judging Him. We should wonder why? He will show us the answer. If we skim like ice skaters through the Bible, we miss important thought.

We often close our eyes to things we don't want to see. If we miss the mark.. it's sin.

That's why Jesus was willing to pay full price. It was decided before Time started ticking on earth. Open your hearts, not your minds.

    d. The use of the word "Mystery". Whenever used in the Bible, it denoted something now revealed that wasn't known before, whether fully or partially. E.g. Romans 11:25 (Gentiles would be saved, hence Israel's blindness); Ephesians 1:9 (Jew & Gentiles would be one in Christ); Ephesians 3:3 (Gentiles would be fellow-heirs, partaking in the same promise); Ephesians 5:32 (Christ & His Church alluded to a husband/wife relationship); Colossians 1:26,27 (Christ indwelling Gentiles); 2 Thes 2:7 (a type of wickedness not seen or imagined before which will be evident in the Anti-Christ); and to the Rapture: 1 Cor 15:51 which is Paul's message to the Corinthians as was to the Thessalonians: that this Mystery, that was not revealed before (whether by Prophecy or by Jesus), is now revealed to the Church. And this was not just a prelude to the Second Coming of Christ, but an indication that as before, in olden times, God would spare His people (now the Church & not the Jew), from His Great Anger that would come to all unbelievers.

    e. 1 Thes 5:9. Paul speaking about the sudden appearing of the Day of the Lord urges the believers not to be slothful but to await that Day. Why? Because "God has not appointed us to wrath (His Wrath upon the World), but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ". And this 'salvation' I understand is the saving of His Church from the Wrath of God.

P.S. I'll have a look at your YT channel. Thank you.

Hi Bob, I can understand how the word 'Rapture' can be used as a verb, but it is also quite rightly used as a noun, to describe an event that is yet to take place. Now, the problem: Is this event (Rapture) a separate 'snatching away of believers prior to the outpouring of Gods Wrath' or is it a part of Christ's Second Coming for His millennial reign, implying that believers will go through the Great Tribulation, but will be kept "from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth." (Revelation 3:10)?

I understand the Gk. word "Parousia" to mean 'Presence or a Presence after an Absence, an Arrival'. So this certainly allows for 'a literal physical coming of Christ to set up His Kingdom', but I see that it can also speak of His Coming for His saints specifically. Actually, there are various aspects from the Word, which compel me to believe that there will be a removal of His people first before the Anger of the Lord is poured out. Most of these you will be aware of:

    a. Genesis 6-8. Noah & his family were saved at a time of God's Wrath upon the wicked.

    c. Israel too suffered at times, only because of their disobedience to God, idolatry & many crimes.

By touching Jesus in an act of faith, desperate for healing is it safe to say that by touching Jesus she made Jesus unclean? Not unclean in the sense of physical Uncleaness or spiritual but in the sense that he took het uncleaness. Matthew 8 say he took our informities and bore our sicknesses

Delanie, You & your family share a very great burden. To be wrongfully accused & imprisoned is certainly unfair. I would like to share these thoughts with you. The Apostle Paul was called by God to preach the gospel to the Gentiles. However, he spent much of his time in prison. He could have wondered why was God allowing this & how could he fulfill his purpose when he was locked up? Yet because of his being in prison his message reached kings & nobles & high ranking military men not to mention the letters he wrote to the churches that make up most of our New Testament, today (& his message continues to reach souls even to this very day). Joseph was sold into slavery by his own brothers & then Potipher's wife lied about him & he was imprisoned. He had valid reasons to lose faith & become discouraged, but he kept his faith in God & kept a positive attitude & after many years of his trials, God used him mightily to save Israel. David was anointed to be King by Samuel but had to endure many long years of running for his life from Saul while God was preparing David to become the warrior king of Israel & subdue their enemies. God knows if your family member has been wrongfully sentenced. God will be with your family member thru the entire 6 years or bring them out sooner, if he wills it. Lift up prayers to God for your family member & trust the process. Pray that your loved one will keep the faith & use this time to grow closer to God. Ask other Christians to pray for your family member. Yes, seek any means available to procure an early release, but I pray that your family member will grow where God has allowed them to be planted. Grow in Grace! Vickie

The oil for the lamps is the Holy Spirit.

The bridegroom took the virgins that had their oil lamps full and the went to the marriage supper. Matthew 25:1-12

Like Noah's ark, THE DOOR WAS SHUT.

Verse 11: Lord, Lord, open to us!

Verse 12: He opens the door and says,

Sounds similar to some other stories, like:

Didn't we prophesy in your name? Cast out demons in your name? Chapter 7 verses 21-23.

Clearly this indicating mid-trib. Scripture writes that after the dead in Christ are raised, then those alive in Christ, will go with Him to a marriage supper as the Bride of Christ.

Enter the Antichrist to begin his reign of terror. One world money, one world religion, one world government. Sorta like game of thrones but it's not a game.

Why not skip it and be born again NOW?

Will YouTube steal away your first Love?

Will you be captured by wizards that peep and mutter (remember AOL days; logging online?) Isaiah heard that maybe.

Stay true to your first love.

As disciples of Jesus, we are supposed to be reaching out to the lost. You can do that here, if you can spare time from dissecting doctrine. I mean no harm. I say it longingly.

What race was Jesus? well maybe this shall explain. Revelation 1:14 - His [Jesus] HEAD head and his hairs were WHITE white like wool, as WHITE white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; 15 And his feet like unto fine brass,

[Brass is made of copper which is REDDISH GOLDEN, not black] as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

Bible book Song of Solomon 5:10 - My beloved is WHITE white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand.

Bible book Lamentations 4:7 - Her Nazarites were purer than snow, they were WHITER whiter than milk, they were more ruddy in body than rubies, their polishing was of sapphire:

We can look at Jesus' prayer to the Father at the Mt. of Olives (Matthew 26:39): Jesus, in His mental agony of the great cost of redemption of mankind before Him, cries to the Father to remove this cup of suffering from Him, but that the Father's Will only be done in this. Did God sympathize with Him & said, "Yes Son, I will spare you, the world is unworthy of my Love"? We know that God's Will was that the full payment for sin & man's redemption was the sole purpose for Christ's coming to Earth. Jesus, as a MAN in pain, cried out to the Father for relief, but the Father's Response was that, pain & death had to be endured for the 'greater good' that mankind can once again be restored.

What I've shared here DaLanie, is that we must, as God's children can come to Him with our praises & also our concerns. He delights to hear us & answer us. But we have to take into account that His Answers to us will always be according to His Will, His Perspective of the situation, & His Timing. We may feel that He doesn't hear us, or that He isn't seeing the situation as we are seeing it, but we know that our loving Father makes no mistakes & His Will will be performed to the last detail. So hang in there & look to Him expectantly & be thankful for all that transpires in this legal matter. You can use human means that are available to you (nothing wrong with that, as God works through all people; e.g. doctors, politicians, etc.), but we need to remember, that "it is God Who works both in you to will & to do of His good pleasure". (Philippians 2:13); and this working is not only in you for your maturing in Christ, but also in all your circumstances. Just trust Him fully in this matter & continue to love Him no matter the outcome - He does ALL things well.

Who are the martyrs at the opening of the 5th seal?
  • CARLOS RAMIREZ TREVINO on Revelation 1:8
In Daniel 10:21, Gabriel makes reference to the Book of Truth and what is written in it. Is what is written in the Book of Truth or Book of Life, as it is called in the NT, what God knew would happen or what God wrote He would do? Are the names written in the Book of Life those God knew would believe, or those God decided to save? Are the vessels of Romans 9 what God knew He was going to do, or what God determined to do? Are God's Plans, plans or things He knew would take place?

God created with a Purpose. He created with a Plan. Can an architect design a house without a Purpose? Can he build it without a Plan? To say that God only knew what was going to happen, make His statements about what He is going to do, meaningless. Did God just simply know the earth was going to be flooded and warned Noah? Or did God do it on Purpose? Did God promise not to destroy the earth again with a flood, because He knew that was what He was going to do? Is God a seer that merely reveals what He sees in the future?

There is a misconception that because God is eternal and not subject to time and space, He can observe past, present and future. And that therefore, He knows everything. Is He like the train hobbyist that builds a train set with hills and roads and stands over it observing everything that takes place. So, did God create the universe and mankind, or was it something He just happened to know would happen on its own?

If the Future has control, does God? I can be omniscient and know how everything functions, yet not know what I am going to do tomorrow. God is neither limited by His omniscience, nor by the Future. Have a look at Isaiah 23:8, "Who planned this against Tyre...? The LORD of Hosts planned it, to defile all its glorious beauty, to disgrace all the renowned of the earth." Not only is God telling us that He Planned it, He is telling us He Planned it with a Purpose.

Your thinking is that God created, then stepped back and let things happen. But is that the case?

I just posted something about it. Go have a look soon.
  • CARLOS RAMIREZ TREVINO - in Reply on Matthew 24:38
Chris, there are really 3 words. Plan, Purpose and Foreknowledge. Although they are all closely related, let me start with a definition Foreknowledge, although you're probably already familiar with it. I think, and I have adopted the position of the Reformers, because it is the most appropriate. Foreknowledge, as used in the Bible, is more closely associated with 'Pre-Ordination'. Acts 2:23 says God delivered Christ up by the determined counsel and foreknowledge of God.

Some ascribe it to God's intuition or omniscience. But there are philosophical, theological and historical issues with it. What God knows will be a historical fact or event, He can't change. Why? Because if God knows something, He knows it to be fact. If God 'knows' Christ is going to die on the Cross and something, God Himself changes it, then He was mistaken. What we can say He knew is that Christ was going to be crucified, but He changed it to something else.

Instead, God tells us in Isaiah 44-48 that He can do things at that moment. So, God knows things about what is going to happen and He tells us about them, not because He is somehow intuitively aware of the Future, but because He planned it that way. That is how He wanted it to happen. Romans 8, Isaiah 46:10-13.

God doesn't just know beforehand what is going to happen, He makes it happen that way. When God said Esau would serve Jacob, He also said that's the way He intended it. That was His doing, not a natural consequence of events He just happened to be aware of beforehand. The argument is that limiting God to 'Foreknowledge' about the Future, limits Him. Why? Because He could only do what He knows He is going to do, not what He wants to do.

Acts 4:28, They did what your power and will had decided beforehand should happen.

That said, the fact that God is Omniscient cannot be denied or diminished. But to argue that 1,000 years is like a day, to support Omniscience, takes the verses out of context Psalms 90:4. Reference is to speed of time.

James Cardozo: we weren't to mark up our bodies. Back then it was probably more likely to get infections; there were no antibiotics. And like now, if you want to get some taken off, I'm guessing it's expensive?

In the 1960's, we had gatherings in the park and PAINTED each other, made hats of flowers.... the "all you need is love" generation. The first generation to let their kids raise themselves.

Every generation since then has had to reach farther and deeper to be cool or weirder than their parents...who gradually stopped following God, to follow that greenback in the sky :/ The LOVE of money is the ROOT of all evil. We can't take it with us, you know? Live simpler - less problems.

Isaiah 8:19-20. I'm gonna preach it again: wizards that PEEP and MUTTER are not God. We run to godless Google to look for answers 19 times a day. Computers and all the amazing electronics are not your friends. We're being tracked with cookies and by data miners. How did Isaiah see this? The Holy Ghost ratted out the future.

Get tracked for following God! Search the scriptures! See what other gems of wisdom are laying right there for us to trip over.

Don't you see? The spirit of Antichrist is already here. We're all being tracked. If we take The Mark of the Beast, we're already dead. Tattoos aren't the mark of the BEAST. You're going to be ordered to take it in your hand or upon your forehead... so you can use your money. You're going to be forced to worship him as if he was god. The REAL God, almighty God will not receive you into the Kingdom with that mark! You're dead, remember?

Now you have a responsibility to preach this truth to your friends. HUGE difference between a tattoo and a EVIL mark from Antichrist. He, false prophet and Satan are all headed for the Lake of Fire. It's not a beach you know.

Quit sinning now, Run to Jesus and be born again!! Have your name written in the Lambs book of LIFE. Tell your friends you are SAVED !

I don't recall saying that Matthew Chapter 24 is the only chapter that was written for the Jews. However, I did say that the entire book of Matthew was written to the Hebrew/Jewish people, Matthew himself also being Jewish. I also know that from Hebrews to the end of Revelation, that section of the bible is known as Jewish Literature. I don't personally know any Jewish people myself, but I believe there are many who have come to know the Lord and I can only assume they read the words of Jesus. Did Jesus need to say this is for the Jews for us to know who He was speaking to? I don't see anywhere in His teachings where He says this is to the Gentiles either. I've already agreed with you that Christ's second coming is after the 7 Year Tribulation.

I still see the message Jesus is giving in Matthew 24 and 25 as being a warning to the nation of Israel, the Jews, to watch for those things. If I have Christ living in me, I have already been made ready. While the unbelieving world is going through a horrendous time of wrath on this earth, I will be at the wedding feast with the Lord until I return with Him at His second coming. As I mentioned in my previous reply, we differ in our understanding of the timing of the rapture. I respect your view, and I'm not trying to convince you to change it. And in all fairness to you, I hope that you would not to spend too much of your time and effort trying to change my view.

My view can be changed, but it will take the Lord to change it. All I can do here is share my understanding with others. That's all any of us here can do. It is nice to have a forum where we can share our understanding, even if we don't agree with each other? God's word alone is truth. It's not what I say that is truth, and not what you say that is truth. I take what people say and I have respect for what they share, but I have an obligation to search the scriptures, and I do.

    Hello Carlos,

I'll be quick in my response. First of all, I know that Matthew was written to Hebrew or Jewish people. And I am not saying that we as Gentiles cannot find value in it, as there are many teachings that we can benefit from. But it was written to the Jews. Secondly, I am not going to engage back and forth with you on the timing of the rapture, as our last discussion thread got shut down by the moderators of this site.

I believe in a pre-tribulation rapture and you believe otherwise. I respect that. No issues here. Wouldn't it be nice if every single believer believed the exact same thing? But that will never happen. As far as commentaries go, there are many out there. I read commentaries from time to time, and there are so many of them out there. But no matter what topic you look up, not all commentaries agree with each other. So which commentaries should we believe, only the ones that match our own understanding?

I do appreciate having conversations with you. We're not always going to agree with each other, but I'm sure there are some things we can agree on?

Wow dude. Awesome! We WILL go through tribulation and anyone teaching otherwise will be seen as a false teacher/prophet/pastor when the time comes.

Why do we need oil in Matthew 25:1-13? Oil is need to make light. Why do we need light? It is going to get really dark for the true believers.

Matthew 24 and 25 are for the 70 AD generation and our generation. The Christians at the time living in Jerusalem and those in the 7 churches of Asia Minor needed to read these things for during their time to encourage them to not give up just as Jesus said to be ready in our time. It's a Dual Prophecy. Mostly fulfilled in the first century, partially fulfilled in all centuries after and will climax like a mother giving birth in our last generation.

Can you take my poll on my new youtube channel?

I wold appreciate it if you could and anyone else you can get to take it. It takes about 2 minutes to fill out.

People who race onward and do not carefully read each word on the creation of Adam and Eve, will miss out on the greater revelation.

Genesis 2:7 And the Lord formed (mould) man of the DUST of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Genesis 1:27. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him: male and female. Genesis 2:22

Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have DOMINION over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

GOD DID NOT give Adam dominion over OTHER men or women!

Just like everyone else that has lived prior and now, OUR COLOR came from the same dust.

Genesis 11:1-9 is the account of the Tower of Babel; which was for evil by Nimrod. God changed the language of the people from one to many. The Lord scattered them all over the earth. Nothing is said further about races or colors. It happened back in the dust God used. Adams name in original text means, RED. That doesn't mean Adam was Native American.

You have full cause to be at peace with the color your ancestors were. Who knows what color Moses was, but he married a woman from Midian, which was predominantly dark skinned. His sister Miriam made a protest about it and God afflicted her with leprosy for a while. Numbers chapter 12.

God hates racism of any kind.

Before God the creator, no one has ever had a right to persecute people of color. If they were reading the Bible rightly, they would know that; in their hearts.

Satan has used his WILL to enter in and pervert the truth. People bought into it and it's been this color versus that color ever since.

God is Spirit. The Holy Spirit is Spirit. Jesus is the Son of Man. (He has color)

Believe the Bible, pass it forward. I thank God we're not all the same color! :D

Hi Chris, Some good things you said there. What I am trying to get people to see is that 1. rapture is a verb not a noun but I understand in our day and age we made it a noun and that is what we are used to saying.

But I see those words UNTO the COMING in there. And if we are alive and REMAIN (SURVIVE IN THE GREEK) UNTO (MEANING RESERVED) the COMING how are we already gone? The word coming is parousia which is the literal physical coming of Christ to earth to set up his kingdom. Why are we ignoring that word? Did God make a mistake?

Can you do me a favor and take my poll on my new youtube channel PRE-TRIB RAPTURE: TRUE OR FALSE? I couldnt' find any poll like this ever done. I'm trying to figure out why we in America came to certain beliefs. It will take two minutes to fill out in the comments section.

    Hi Bob,

That seems right on to me. How did we all miss that? The tares are gathered before the wheat. Seems to me we have gone to God's Word with a lot of presuppositions from things we were taught early on in our walks. As far as I can tell, the tares are still here so HOW CAN THEY BE LEFT BEHIND if they are taken first? Help me see this.

I think all you men are doing a great job of getting people to think about end time events! Also to pass it on to family and friends.

Jesus said for us to WATCH. Be looking for Him. Be ready. Be born again now. Lovingly witness to everyone you want " inside the Ark with you". Jesus IS the Ark. Every time someone came by & asked Noah what he was doing, he preached Salvation to them.

Only difference is that next time will be by Fire. We are supposed to preach these realities, that you know already.

The earth is readying. It's warming up. In Job you see that God has storehouses of hail stones. Every year we experience floods, huge forest fires, drought, wicked storms. If you watch the govt earthquake center, you will see places being rocked every day with size increased tremors. Especially in areas that are being fracked.

I'm praying that everyone is aware of these realities. There are people that think they can just "ride it out". Why not instead be ready to go with Jesus? Now.

1 Corinthians 12:31, 13:2, 14:1, 3, 5. I don't think it's useful to get bogged down in tongues again. Paul is saying that to PROPHESY (speak forth the Word of God) is more useful. The Holy Spirit watches over His Word.

You have a whole room in here with people dropping by to hear something from God. They have problems, they're frightened, they suspect that "this Bible stuff" may have some truth to it. These are Jesus's sheep and lambs! If you're not a shepherd, then you're a sheep. I remind myself often what Ezekiel was told in chapters 2 & 3. We are accountable for what we say or write. It's serious business. If you get unction to warn is probably God. Habakkuk 2:2-3

I love the book of Genesis. You have to read it very slowly. Things in chapter 1 will be picked up again in 2 or 3, with additional information. Satan was a snake. Eve knew not to eat the fruit, but she wanted to have the knowledge. She was tempted with food.

    Like us sometimes.

You seem to believe in an unfulfilled 7 years in Daniel 9?

I used to till I realized Jesus died int he middle of the 70th week because of that word AFTER in the previous verse. Then I looked up Bible commentaries pre-1830 to find that almost all taught the same thing.

First 7 weeks or 49 years were fulfilled.

Then the 62 weeks or 434 years.

Then verse 26 says AFTER the 62 weeks but the 7 or 49 years are already fulfilled in the prophecy so Jesus didn't die before the 70th week but during.

We have turned the Messiah, context of the passage, into a future antichrist. This was never taught until 15 year old Margarette McDonald had her vision and prophetic utterance (big time charismatic/Irvingite) in 1829/1830.

At best, we have a 3 1/2 years to be fulfilled but I see it as fulfilled in 70AD because the Great Revolt lasted exactly 42 months and answers the WHY of General/Prince Titus in verse 26.

I do believe in a Dual Prophecy interpretation. What I mean by that most of 2/3rds of Matthew 24 was historically fulfilled AND much of that chapter was spoken to THAT generation but something similar will happen AGAIN in a fuller way, on a worldwide scale. For example, the word world (oikenume) in Matthew 24 means Roman Empire and the apostles did preach the gospel to the whole world (oikenume) by 70 AD so they fulfilled that but if you take a FULL preterist approach that is just as dangerous as taking a full futurist approach to scripture.

The word parousia in 1st Thess. 4:13-18 is the 2nd coming literally to earth. Paul puts the catching away (harpazo) AFTER the dead in Christ rise which is obviously THE resurrection and a twinkling of an eye BEFORE the physical return of Christ to establish His millennial reign. Jesse, in addition to what I previously mentioned, the teaching that Matthew 24, and no other Chapter in the NT, is for the Jews, is not supported by the narrative. Additionally, how many Jews that you know of read or pay attention to the words of Jesus? And if it were the case it was for Jews, why didn't Jesus say, "This is for the Jews. But I will be coming for you before that. So don't even worry about it."?

Jesus, Paul, Peter and John tell us about the Second Coming, but never mention a pre-appearance. Why? The only direct reference we have, and it comes from the Source Himself, Jesus, is in Matthew 24:29. Jesus said, Immediately After the Great Tribulation.

If there is a Clandestine Appearance, Jesus and the rest of the Bible are totally silent on it.

Make a note of this. Every reference to Christ's return uses the same language; The Moon, Sun, Trumpet, Clouds, Gathering, Shout, White Robes, Saints, Thief in the Night: expressions associated with the Coming.

But why is knowing when Christ comes so important? Is it just information? It is important as a warning to the Church to prepare, to be ready, not just for His coming, but for the Tribulation. How often do we discuss what to do in case of ISIS- like persecution? How real are the beheadings of Christians throughout the world to us? That's one of the things Christians should be focused on. How will we handle persecution? What will we do? Where will we go for food and shelter if evicted? Or when police come for our children, as the Nazis did in the 1940's? Where do we hide? How will we proclaim Christ in that time of trouble? Will we defend ourselves with arms? Will we know who the other Christians are by the sign of a fish?

There is no more alarming call for the Church than Christ Himself telling us to Prepare for the coming Great Tribulation. And if they say Christ is here or there, don't believe them. That is the message of Matthew 24-25. Might He come after Passover Ch 26? Will there be churches?
