    What day is the Sabbath?

Why do you worship on the First Day?

8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

I'm not asking about the land. Who are the people Esau/Edomites?
  • Will - in Reply on Ecclesiasticus 12:4
I strongly disagree. Iran is not Esau/Edomites. I'm curious about your answer. How did you come to this conclusion?

Your comment is oddly verbatim of a somewhat recent Donnie Swaggert tv sermon..
  • PRAY FOR NIGERIAN CHRISTIANS on 1 Samuel 3
Thank the Lord that we do not have to endure this kind of persecution in the USA.

We have really really seriously PRAY for these Christian people who live in a very bad place.

It shows us exactly how murderous the Antichrist will be in the less distant future here too.

Please don't tune it out. Somebody do a serious teaching on The Apostasy and the Falling Away. I believe it's starting to raise its head now.

    *****

How many more innocent Christians have to die before the world takes action?

A week ago we told you the number of Nigerian Christians murdered by Islamic radicals had tripled to more than 1,200. We warned you that the deadly violence wasn't showing signs of slowing down.

This week it's now closer to 1,300 Christian men, women, and children who have been targeted for death for their faith. It was just reported that Islamic extremists killed 33 more Christians in about 24 hours.

In a blitzkrieg attack, radical Islamic Fulani herdsmen in armored trucks and motorcycles stormed Christian villages, gunning down helpless victims and burning down homes.

These are not just isolated incidents. It's an epidemic of deadly violence. If the Nigerian government can't - or won't - do anything to stop the bloodshed, we have to.

The ACLJ has gone directly to the United Nations to urge international leaders to intervene. If we don't act soon, it will be too late. We are making an urgent submission to the U.N. in just THREE days, demanding action. (6-20-20)

We're fighting to SAVE CHRISTIANS and defend their right to worship freely without fear of violent persecution and death. We urgently need YOU.

Google ALCJ and go to petitions. Mishael

    I am so very happy to hear back from you;

And that things are feeling better for you.

Stress dumps harmful hormones in our bloodstreams. Stay calm with Jesus, in His Word.

Take biotin, which is a B vitamin that helps with the scalp. I keep products off my hair (gels & stuff) so my scalp can sweat and breathe.

    I sound awful, huh? Lol

Perhaps, as our Faith grows bigger, so shall it be rewarded. Amen!
  • Andy G van den Berg on Genesis 1
    On James 4:4.

Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world id enmity with God.

The believers are not of this world. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith (1 John 5:4).

    Additional readings as confirmation.

    John 7:7; 8:23; 15:19; 17:9,14,16; 18:36.

    Romans 12:2.

    1 Corinthians 2:12; 3:19. 2 Corinthians 6:17.

    Galatians 1:4.

    Ephesians 2:2.

    1 John 2:15; 4:5; 5:4.

The believers and followers of the true Christ do not involve themselves in the affairs of this world.

  • Caeleton on Genesis 1
Meditation question: Can a non-member of the Peaceable Kingdom of Jesus Christ truly love their neighbor as their own self?
  • Bendito Palavra - in Reply on Romans 3
We believers still bear the corrupt heart and mind of our old fleshly nature. As Paul said in Romans 7:24, "O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?"

But then in verse 25, "I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin."

It is Jesus Christ which delivers us from our own self. If we are sorely tempted, doubting ourselves, we must remember that our assurance of salvation is based on the pure righteousness of Jesus, freely bestowed on us that believe. We don't deserve it, never did, never could. That is the wonder of grace. His grace and mercy is boundlessly greater than all our sin.

We have the power and authority by the Holy Ghost to cast down imaginations and bring thoughts into captivity to the obedience of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 10:3-5). We may not always prevent vile thoughts, but we can refuse to entertain them.

One necessary step to gain a victory here is found in Romans 12:1-2, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

The LORD wants us to be filled with the Spirit (Ephesians 5:17-21).

Philippians chapter 4 has much to set our hearts and minds aright. In particular, verse 8 gives us the whatsoevers we should resolve to think about: things true, things honest, things just, things pure, things lovely, things of good report, any virtue, any praise.

Also the book of Psalms is commendable for promoting right thinking and can be read one a day to good benefit.

Mishael, are you the one that is praying and sent me wonderful advice concerning my loss of a lot of hair? I want to Thank You very much. My hair is growing little by little. I still have a few small bald spots but I'm claiming victory. I told you I printed two copies of what you sent me and I'll keep them forever. I pray everyday for you, that you will have the best day of your life. :). God Bless You. August 17, 2020
  • Dina Kobson on Matthew 28
Why was Paul so much concern about the perilous time. Was it a prophecy or discernment into the future
  • Fred Scanlan - in Reply on 1 Samuel 3
Goodness and mercy shall follow thee all the days of our life ,we shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Is there any found righteous? Satan is doing all he can to hide anything that is good. As long as Christs dwelling place is in our hearts satan cannot corrupt the house of God. Being carnally minded is not part of Gods house. We are his instruments doing his will always. There will come a time when there will be no more sacrifice for sin. God will judge all things that pertain to His kingdom! The most absolute important thing is prayer, and abiding in Christ, that the Holy Spirit will be a light unto thy path!
  • Wenmar - in Reply on Revelation 12:9
Cleveland...just some food for thought, the current resident of the white house has protected the unborn, protected Israel, and protected our religious freedom. He has also tried to stop religious persecution around the globe...No, I cannot judge his heart, only the fruits of his labors which to me appear God honoring.

When we as a people do not stand against abortion, sodomy, sex trafficking, and all the other blasphemous lies and activities, do we deserve a righteous leader?

  • SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT OF THE DEMONIC on Genesis 1:14
I am saddened by some the Comments of this day. It is a COMMENT room; NOT an OPINION room.

The scriptures issue from DIVINE inspiration. It is GOD'S WORD. JESUS is the WORD OF GOD.

The King James Bible was carefully translated from Hebrew and Greek language so anybody could read it. This is a King James Bible Comment Website. We do not hash and rehash other languages; or fight over Jesus's NAME. Whatever language..it is in His Name that we are born again, baptised by The Holy Spirit; it is His Name that scatters DEMONS into outer darkness and dry places!!

    Ecclesiastes 8:5

Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a WISE man's heart discerneth both time and judgment.

    Ezekiel 44:23

And they shall teach my people the difference between the HOLY and PROFANE, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.

    Jonah 4

    And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand;

    Malachi 3:18

Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

    Matthew 16:3

And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times???

    1 Corinthians 2:14

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he discern....

If you need The GIFT of discerning of Spirits, I suggest that you ask the Holy Spirit for that gift. 1 Corinthians 12, 13, 14

It is very apparent to me that this website has a satanic assignment against it (the spirit of Antichrist). We must stand together as the Body of Christ and bind it's presence and cast it into deep outer darkness!

We must learn to discern! Confusion, schism, arguing, accusing; Divisions are FRUITS.

Thanks for your feedback and may Jesus Christ Bless you. I'm no longer a church goer either plus Jesus never said anything about going to church not specifically anyway he just said to fellowship and I can do that anywhere I want to. He also never told anyone to give to any church but he did talk about the store houses they did have back in his days here. Feed those with 10% of what you've got. This other man that commented on my post is correct about the churches and they're people. Talk about being judgmental they're wicked. I believe in loving others and speaking the truth in love not anger as so many do that think they're perfect souls. Many have told me God's in control and he's in charge. I don't know what God they have but its not the one I serve that's for sure. I wish God was in Control and in charge they're wouldn't be a got heaven then would they're? If he was in control and I'm charge we'd never commit a sin but he gave us all free will to make those decisions for ourselves didn't he? I know he's never in charge of my sins and I'm sorry every single time I break his Heart. I'll tell you who the real Christian's are it's those with a real relationship with Jesus Christ the sinners like myself that have a conscious in there soul because the spirit of Jesus Lives their and he loves those that don't make excuses or yet to any as if there better than anyone else. Those preachers an pastor's those so called Drs in those pulpit's that won't allow a man like myself to come speak in there so called houses of worship they've got a huge problem with the Father i serve and that I know without doubt or Question. The world's going down hill because of it. TRUTH and FACTS aren't spoken in pulpit's anymore because it just hurt those cans you pass around and we can't have that can we? I'd love to have 5 or 10 or even more pastor's at around table Televised to answer some questions with me. Any takers? This is about TRUTH and FACTS and the words of Almighty God not me.

Hello, I do not agree with your conclusion. It sounds like you heard a few sermons, looked at the skin color of the person speaking and drew an assumption. If you believe people are equal then why focus on people's skin color? Doesn't that perpetuate a problem of treating someone differently for their color? Isn't that as arbitrary as looking at their height, shirt size, or shoe color? Correlation equals causation?

I've personally heard numerous sermons from pastors on racism who happened to be white. Too many. Have you searched that topic on YouTube? I don't know what country you live in, but if the US is it the most free and has the lowest problem with racism than any country in the world. Where else do you have such freedom where anyone of any walk of life can excel in something and become a multimillionaire or billionaire? All skin colors have huge wealth in this country. It's hard to make a case for racism and oppression when it doesn't seem to apply to a large % of the population, only a loud minority who want entitlement. Also there are all skin colors in poverty and homeless on the streets. It's hard to explain how one skin color would be privileged when they're all in the same predicament. What if it wasn't skin color, but individual effort and habits? Is it possible that the media has an agenda that pushes inequality and tries to make everyone upset, even when many are thriving? Has the media successfully brainwashed everyone into believing something that hardly exists in most countries? The term for this phenomenon is called confirmation bias.

Other countries that actually have slavery right now are meanwhile being ignored by the media. Even children have been enslaved and imported into some countries and somehow that is ignored and not in the media. There is a lot of hardship and difficulty in life, but a place where all colors can become rich and privileged like the US, claiming they are racist doesn't have much credibility- people come from all over the world to go there. If the oppression was true people would not want to go there.

The Bible says all are equal: Galatians 3:28

This is you Adam. It's what makes you breathe. 1 month ago Adam

Thanks so much for responding! I'll continue praying for you.

This may seem like a strange thing to ask, but can I challenge you to something? Can you help us pray and respond to others on Prayer Request page by writing a reply to others in this (by clicking the reply button underneath their comment)? There are many needs and people facing various challenges. Some of the challenges different people have different insight on as we each have different experience. Everyone has value and anyone who helps lift up others to encourage them is highly regarded and appreciated by the person. You're needed. They need you as much as you need others. If you help me with this I bet you will feel good doing it. You don't have to have all the answers by any means. Sometimes just someone listening and caring makes a world of difference to someone. I just ask you to try it. May God bless you!

When I read your question, it is a typical one that comes up when you buy into the-sensationalism-of-dispensationalism. However, if you are interested in studying the plan of redemption, from Genesis-through-Revelation (both the FIRST testament, and the SECOND testament), you will find that a c-a-r-e-f-u-l study of the book as a book of instruction shows how the Father and Son had these things inspired for a reason. Did your question come up when King James, and the Bible students of his day put together the 66 books of scripture?

    Blessings in your study,

    Kurt
